"Sweethoney is a dessert cafe with all the trimmings. They have a plethora of drinks, hot food, but really what you come here for is the desserts--pages upon pages of desserts. We had the mango pomelo sago with tofu pudding and a side of toddy palm. We also got the walnut and sesame with sesame glutinous rice balls.Service is super quick and they offer complimentary tea upon arrival at your table. The vibe of the place is always friendly and casual--with a splash of hurry it up since everyone is moving, slurping, or laughing."

"You can smell this store before you even enter (in a good way). This cute little dessert shop has some great options for you and your friends. There's seating inside and out. The service is quick on a Thursday night around 9pm! Get the mango bingsoo and salted egg anything!"
"Great bfast spot. I tried the turkey sandwich, which really hit the spot after a night out. Husband had the waffles, which he devoured. Joy's is cute, clean, and offers fast service."
"Cute place. We enjoyed a black crepe filled with Thai tea iced cream and whipped cream, served with Thai tea sauce and Oreo crumbles topped with egg yolk strands for chew."
"It's been a while since we are here, still great atmosphere and quality! Love traditional HK style desserts~"
"If you're in the heart of Burlingame avenue, Caffe Central is a must visit spot! That definitely holds its weight when it comes to delicious food. It offers something for everyone with their variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Not to mention their irresistible selection of pastries. I got the breakfast bowl after spotting it while walking past the restaurant and every bite was satisfying. Plenty of shops around to walk to after that add the overall experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings. Giving it a 4/5 only simply because the service could have been just a tiny bit better but it seemed to be a younger staff so I wasn't too worried."
"I ordered delivery from The Thonglor on a recent trip to San Francisco and it did not disappoint... I had a green curry dish with tofu + veggies and jasmine rice.Delivery was fast and efficient and they met me in the lobby of my hotel.I would have liked a bit more eggplant in the dish, but it was delicious, affordable, and more than enough food for me.I would absolutely order again and also hope to dine in in the future."
"Can't believe I haven't submitted a review for Chalos to date. Chalos have the most delicious empanadas which have become a regular delivery staple in our household (spicy beef and ham & cheese are firm favorites). The food is consistently excellent, the presentation great, and the coffee is some of the best in the area. Highly recommended."
"Came in on recommendations for restaurant week and so glad I did. Top of the hill on Powell and Bush. Which is funny if you remember a few presidents ago. Got a great meal in a great cafe with a great host named Kristna. Also turns out he's the owner also of the next door bar The Last Drop. The music is clutch. 40-50's vibes and a beautiful view along the cable car track. Will add more shortly. Still eating...Yall missing out! I've eaten and drank everywhere from pacific heights to north beach, from the ferry building to Richmond ... this place is a great deal, a hearty meal, and an easy food vibe. Get. In here. It's silly that more San Franciscans aren't flooding the doors considering where else they choose to spend the money. Give Roxanne's Cafe a shot. It's worth the walk up the hill. Or hop off the cable car at Bush. Just listen to me on this one. From chef to patron. Eat at Roxanne's!!!"
"11/17/24Yup! Still the yummiest donuts. I honestly just get donut jokes but you can get lots of very exotic donuts here! Open 24 hours"

It had been a while since we got together, so decided to indulge and order whatever we wanted. I had heard great things about the duck, so that was my pick. It was tender and delicious. And that au jus was so flavorful. The charcuterie was plentiful and we had a good amount of variety. The only thing I didn't really care for was the steak since it was covered in bearnaise. But the temp on it was nice.Drinks wise, I'd skip the cocktails since they were just okay. We were happy with our two bottles of wine tho. We really weren't familiar with the wine list offerings so they said they'd send over the sommelier. For some reason, he wasn't showing up, so the server sent over three of their Chicken nuggets . caviar ranch. That ranch was delish! The sommelier eventually showed up and we made our selections.Fun spot to have a nice somewhat elaborate meal. Their portions are rather big, so better if you go in a bigger group. Otherwise, your bill will add up quickly.REVIEW #3423"

Donuts are delicious but their packaging needs some intense work. They put a lot of the donuts on their side and the maple icing actually melted off into the bottom of the box. Very disappointing.

This is a great late night dessert spot! The wait was a bit long (~20-30min on a Friday night) but definitely worth it! All the desserts were light and refreshing. I especially liked the grass jelly! The menu is very extensive so it gets a bit overwhelming. However any option is great!

NaYa Dessert Cafe - one of the best spots for Asian desserts in the City including: bingsu, toast and more! With two locations, I have visited both and Hayes Valley is my preferred location for presentation and vibes. I went mid-week after dinner around the corner and my friend and I were on the waitlist for under 5 minutes before quickly getting seated with a pitcher of water and cups. Staff was friendly like always but busy during the holiday week so it took a while before we could flag them down for a menu. We ordered the Salted Egg Bingsu (new to their menu) to share and arrived under 10 minutes. We liked that the salted egg was in a separate bowl to self pour. Bingsu was creamy and milky flavored. Paired with the salted egg... it was delightful. The rice balls were okay. I thought they would be chewy like a tapioca/mochi like bounce.Overall, I love going to NaYa for bingsu. I prefer the mango bingsu and highly recommend it if it's your first time there. Their menu selection is great and well worth exploring. They also offer smaller portions of bingsu for some flavors (which is awesome to have that as an option).

Dude.....after visiting SF during an abnormal intense heat wave earlier this month, I should shut up about heat waves in the Sacramento area lol.The rather delirium-inducing high humidity in SF at the time made me and my sis search for any cool-food spots in close vicinity, and, wow, the bingsoo here......one of the best that I've had. It uses silk thread shaved ice, which makes the ice even *more* melt-in-your-mouth. We particularly had the mango cheesecake thread shaved ice and although it's kinda silly that it has a thick cheesecake slab on top of the shaved ice (very YouTube-mukbang-esque lol) it made the whole bingsoo filling. Also, major props that the mango chunks are freshly cut and perfectly ripe!!!We also had the triple berry waffle. Amazingly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Not overly sweet either. The fruit in this one also tasted like it was fresh off of a farmers market.Overall very quite pleased on both desserts. Lots of care seemed to be put into them. Restaurant-tier for sure but at a low-key mom-and-pop cafe.....kinda like the best of both worlds. :p

Stopped by Naya for some dessert, and overall, it was a great experience with a couple of small issues. We got the Mango Tango Bingsoo, and it was light, fluffy, and delicious! The mango was perfectly sweet, and the sweet sticky rice with toasted sesame added a rich, nutty flavor--so good. My only complaint? The mango syrup portion was too small for the amount of bingsoo. A little more would've made it perfect! The Thai Tea Ice Cream was another win--not too sweet but just right, and the almost Frosted Flakes texture was such a fun surprise.I also tried the Grass Jelly with Maple Brown Sugar Syrup. It was tasty, but I personally would've liked the jelly to be a little sweeter.A couple of downsides: The cup I got originally was gross, so I had to ask for a new one--not a huge deal, but not great either. Also, the seating situation was frustrating. We were told we needed five or more people to sit at a larger table, yet shortly after, a group of four was seated there while my group of four was told no. Felt unfair, to be honest.Would I come back? Definitely--the desserts were delicious! Just hoping for a little better service next time.

Dessert Republic is a staple in San Mateo downtown serving up classic Cantonese food and desserts. We've popped by many times over the years.Recently, we tried their steamed ginger milk (8/10), almond soup with sesame balls (8/10), red bean soup (6/10 - too thick), mango sago (8/10), and their curry fish ball noodle soup (7/10 - very salty).Dessert Republic gets pretty busy in the evenings and on the weekends, and there's sometimes a short wait for this small spot.

4/20/24This is my first time visiting the Caffe Central in Burlingame. I have been to the Caffe Central in San Francisco since it's across the street from my work (Mission bay area). As usual, downtown Burlingame was busy so we had to park a few blocks away. It was a nice day so we managed to get outdoor seating with Coco. You order at the counter, you get a number and then find a table. Here's what we got:- corn chowder (mine)- chipotle bowl (his)We waited about 10 minutes for the food to come. I only got the corn chowder since at the time I was feeling sick with not much appetite. The corn chowder was creamy and delicious. The bread was too hard for me, so I gave that to Coco to munch on. Zach's chipotle bowl looked great. He said it tasted good too. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu.

Thonglor has Thai food that comforts the soul. Every time I have been while on the smaller side the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food has consistently been great. The last time I went we decided to order the eggplant veggie stir-fry. The eggplant veggie stirfry was tasty and packed with notes of basil - yum! Can't wait to go back and highly recommend stopping by if you are around Union square!

"Me and my friend went here for our first time. The food was great. We got the combo 1. Combo 1 is you choose 3 type of seafood. We got the clams, crawfish, and shrimp. Their sauce choice is good. All their sauces are great. We were able to sample some before choosing what sauce we wanted on our boil. The garlic noodles were a little bland in my opinion. Not enough garlic flavor. We also got the fried calamari, which was so good. Crunchy and fresh. We also got the Cajun fries. Also good. Overall 4.5/5. The garlic noodle were a little disappointing.Service was great. Helen was so nice and seated us right away. She checked up on us multiple times when we didn't need anything, great service. She answered all of our questions about the menu right away. Definitely going back for the food and service. She was so nice enough to give us some claim chowder, and refilled our waters without us even asking. Great service. 6/5Ambiance inside is great. Great lighting inside. Plenty of seats for big parties or small parties. No outdoor seating."
"Went for BreakfastFood - 5/5. Womelettes are a delicious and fun take on a breakfast staple. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shape isn't just a gimmick, but actually provides a different texture experience. Womelette had a fluffy yet denser texture than a regular omelette with the egg being more concentrated into a thin form. The toppings were great with tator tots adding crunch, the linguica providing a rich, salty bite, and the cheddar cheese adding a creamy umami. Caprese panini had well toasted bread with a great ratio of filling. There was plenty of mozzarella making for a rich bite that was balanced by the sweet tomatoes and bright herb flavors of the pesto. Their coffee selection was great with the Greek coffees having a distinct acidic flavor.Service - 4/5. Quick and friendly service. Drinks and food came out promptly and there is a self-service station for water, utensils and condiments.Value - 5/5. Food is delicious with good portion sizes. They have a large variety of breakfast options to choose from and they are all reasonably priced in the low $10s range. Coffee selection is even larger letting most people find the flavor they are craving.Parking - Mall Lot (Free)"
"Really good NY style pizza. The restaurant even emulates the feeling of being in a NYC pizza shop. We ordered garlic knots, salsiccia pizza, margherita pizza, and pepperoni pizza for takeout and it was ready at the expected pickup time. The garlic knots were a crowd favorite! And the side of marinara that it came with was tasty. Wish we ordered more of these because they disappeared quick! I only got to try the Salsiccia, but the toppings went well together. Although the jalapeños weren't spicy, it did pair well with the sausages. My friends enjoyed the margherita pizza given that the tomato sauce is really good. The pizzas were incredibly thin and had the perfect crust. Not sure if the pizzas were extremely cheesy or our pies weren't cut all the way through, but we did have to separate the slices with a cutter at home."
"I needed to take minute to appreciate this wonderful business and staff. I was having such a hard day and they really made my day with this surprise. Their cupcakes were absolutely delicious and truly gives your tastes buds joy. My favorite has to be red velvet. Just perfectly sweet and moist. Ugh I love it! Thank you again to this beautiful business. Can't wait to order again"
"I've been coming here every day since i tried their candied apple choux. Which was 4 days ago. This is the most delightful puff of heaven I've ever met. Not to leave out their delicious salted caramel financiers and seasonal cannells. Please choux people, I'm begging you, make the candied apple year round!! Or at least make a seasonal version of this puff all year. PLEASE!"
"Located in downtown Sam Mateo Pay for parking- meters or structured parking lotSmall store with limited seating Multiple iPads to order from to expedite ordering instead of waiting in line. Desserts were refreshing, moderately sweet but perfect to end the night"
"We showed up with no reservation on December 26 with a party of six, which included two children. We were immediately seated and well taken care of by staff. ALL of our meals were excellent. I had a pasta dish with Gorgonzola which was great. I cleaned my plate, which is rare. Highly recommend Cesario's."
"Pushy door men that try to be friendly, servers that are fake nice and food was.. well just food. We had reservations for a restaurant down the street but my son was "starving" and couldn't wait another hour, so being the worried mother I am we decided to give this place a try since there was no wait. I should've gave him some gum to hold him off. Food was just ok, very bland with not much flavor, nothing I would ever crave. And they charge for bread for the table... weird. Take it from me, try another place there's so many other great restaurants with in a close radius."
"Went for BeverageFood - 5/5. Their matcha has a beautiful shade of grassy green with a rich flavor that is befitting of its color. It has a light taste with a hint of astringency and a clean finish. Their matcha drink kept it simple with a bit of sweetness letting you taste the matcha in its purest form. It had a viscosity that was slightly thicker than water, creating a nice mouthfeel. Matcha latte had the rich creaminess of milk with a sweet flavor. You could still taste the matcha and I enjoyed the more decadent sweetness and creamy finish.Service - 4/5. Cashier was professional and beverages came out quickly.Value - 5/5. I always appreciate when an establishment specializes specifically in matcha and Cafe Maiko reliably hits the spot. Beverage prices are standard with a large matcha being $4.80 and matcha latte $6.00. They do add sales tax after the price, which is unusual for beverages.Parking - Mall Lot/Garage (Free)"
"Excellent food, lovely screens between tables provided a sense of privacy, friendly staff"
"298 Broadway Millbrae, CA 94030"Sweet Indulgence" is a dessert place with an overwhelming menu. The only reason why I went in this place was because the Yelp listing says "ice cream and frozen yogurt." So I have been here twice now, and both times I enjoyed the gelato. The first time, I had a scoop of chocolate and scoop of coffee gelato. The second visit was on Christmas eve, I got three scoops- chocolate, coffee, and mango. The gelato is very good and has a smooth texture. Plenty of inside seating, and a restroom is available with a key."
"The Tom Kha Gai (Chicken) and Green Curry were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. This place is a winner!I've ordered from them through Grubhub four times now. $43.35 for Tom Kha Gai (Chicken) and Green Curry isn't cheap, but it is worth it. It is the best Thai I've had since going to Marnee Thai years ago."
"Decided to check out Park & Howard Bistro for dessert and drinks and it was phenomenal. It was pretty chill and lowkey for a Saturday, which we greatly appreciated. The service was also superb and very attentive. We never felt forgotten and hardly had to wait at all. My wife ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake and I ordered the Bread Pudding and Eggnog Espresso Martini. Everything was absolutely delectable! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend for a date night away from the kids."
"Simple happiness in a box, thats's Beard Papa's cream puffs! We got two original puffs with vanilla this time. The service was efficient and the packaging was great. I wish they brought back flavors like mango, strawberry more often."
"We stopped in here for pre-theater dinner. The building is pretty non-descriptive at the moment since it's covered in scaffolding. Don't miss out on this restaurant because of it! We tried classic chicken momos, cauliflower roast and Dhaba Chicken Curry. Everything was great, and probably just a tad too much food for two, not pictured was a side of basmati rice and Mango Lassis. Service was very friendly, thank you for the recommendations!"
"I have ordered from Cake Gallery at least four times now and the service has been impeccable. I usually order through email, but when I need something within the same week, I usually try to give a call to see if they aren't too busy. I haven't had any issues so far and they always do their best to accommodate my order in such short notice! In fact, I just ordered one last week for my best friend's birthday and it turned out great. I remember my first time ordering with them, I wanted a similar design to a cake I saw on their Yelp photos (it was a picture of I believe Johnny Depp with a thought bubble and a person in it like he got her on his mind, lol). When the delivery came, I noticed something was not quite right. Instead of having Trey Songz in the background, it was Johnny Depp (as shown on the Yelp photo). It was a funny mistake, one that I didn't mind, but of course, I wanted what I had asked for. The man who delivered the cake apologized and said that he would come back later with the right cake. And he did! What I really love about this place is the FREE delivery within SF. This really makes my life so much easier.Their cakes are reasonably priced, especially for custom cakes/photo printed cakes. To order, you to send an order form via email with everything you want and they'll confirm with you. They're pretty quick with replies.Highly recommend them for special occasions!"
"Oh my! Our go to restaurant was closed on Christmas Eve - who could blame them. So we went to another favorite a tad further away... Masala Dosa was open!!! Yum!!! Fried eggplant to start. Lamb biryani, lamb kebab with veggies, basil garlic naan. Scrumptious cuisine after a long day. Atmosphere and services were excellent! We are spoiled with such delicious dishes in the city for the holidays! Merry Christmas!"
"Solid 4 stars.Sat outside on the dog-friendly patio. Ordered our food and 15 minutes later we began eating. To my surprise I found out that Camino Corner had Asian fusion options. I would highly recommend the longanisa with garlic rice. All very flavorful food options. Great, friendly customer service. Only downfall is parking. Only street available.Be sure to check in, because with every check-in you get 1 buttermilk pancake ;)"
"Solid spot for a nice big burger in the sunset! This place is totally casual and gives off beachy vibes even though it is a ways up from the ocean. They serve up burgers, a variety of fries, and some other sandwiches. We've come to enjoy a beer and fries on their outdoor picnic tables, and also for burgers. While burgers are their namesake, they aren't messing around on the fries either. I've had both the regular and curry fries and have loved how crispy each of them are, they also don't skimp on the serving. Burgers are big and juicy and come loaded with all the toppings you'd want. I've had the mushroom deluxe and papa burger, both were really good and I'd order either one again. Prices have gone up since the start of the year, we came in January and burgers were all about $3 more when we came back in June, but the prices aren't absurd for what you get. The burgers are rather large and filling, plus with the cost of food going up it makes sense."
"Good italian good and very friendly staff. If you eat inside the vault, then there will no phone signal."
"Super cute bakery that does individual cakes in super cute packaging. The employee is very sweet and helpful! Logistics:-street parking-3 small tables-accepts cash and card"
"I came with a friend around 6 PM on a Wednesday night. The place is quite small with only a few seats at a bar available. Most of the other patrons brought their drinks to go. I ordered a matcha fresh milk with cheese creama on top. The creama was delicious and went well with the drink. The matcha flavor was very light and was mostly creamy from the milk. It was quite tasty but probably not the best choice for the matcha obsessed folks since the flavor was pretty muted. I also got an order of curly fries which were a great flavor and perfectly fried! All in all, a nice stop for a quick boba drink and snacks."
"Saucy opened where Tamarindo Antojeria was. Decor is laid back. Seating is spread thruout the interior.Offerings: "experiences", lunch sets, happy hour. Quick/spicy bites, shareables, rice bowls, dinner entrees.Order at counter, pay, pick food at counter when ready. About 10 minutes.Eats: popcorn shrimp lunch set (18)-mixed green with artisan dressing fresh, yummy.-kimchi fresh, semi spicy. Steamed rice fresh, moist-edamame surprisingly tender, fresh tasting-shrimp chips had lots shrimp & other flavas.-10+ popcorn shrimps unami flavored with mix of honey mustard, thai chili sauce, togarashi sesame. Shrimp itself was moist, crunchy. Didn't taste natural juiciness. Not the usual shrimp. Looked rock shrimp. 4.5 stars: great value. Didn't have time to explore. Just happen to discover Saucy on a walk by."
