"Very delicious soft serve! But there will be a wait~Uji time is very much known for matcha desserts. So the first visit I tried a matcha soft serve in taiyaki cone. It's a fish shaped egg waffle that is toasty crispy on the outside and spongy on the inside. I like to get red bean as filling. The soft serve is very good! Sweet but not too sweet. The second visit I tried the ube one. It's smooth but more icy than creamy. I actually prefer less creamy cuz it feels less heavy. The ube one is sweeter than matcha. But both are delicious! The shop is small so you would be eating in the hall way. But that's ok. You order on the screen and wait for your treats. Service is not super fast but taiyaki cone does take a while to be freshly made so a wait is expected."

"Found this nice gem in the Downtown First Thursdays in SF and was impressed by the well made cookies. I tried banana biscoff and chocolate pistachio. The Pistachio was my favorite. I would recommend if you want a high quality and unique cookie but keep in mind this is not the cheapest dessert."
"our pizza night at Extreme was great and satisfactory. the boys and i ordered a large pizza, half cheese, half sausage / green pepper. the service was good, the ambiance was nice and smooth at night, and with TVs showing the sports, we were more than comfortable enjoying our elite pizza"
"I don't understand the purpose of having lines formed, especially forming a single file line if they are not honored. To let the white man, literally a white man jump the line so nonchalantly and him having the how dare you pompous attitude of how dare you question my ability to jump the line is what's wrong with the world. As a person of color, I'm highly disgusted this behavior and pattern of privilege is still tolerated and accepted, especially by the staff who are all persons of colors. As a decades long, faithful Customer to your establishment, you would think as to basic right and wrong and equality of rights when you're paying hundreds of dollars for desserts, you should feel secure in the fact that when you're standing at the front of the line, a white person should not have the right to just cut you off and order before you. Please do better."
"The aesthetics of their desserts are second to none. The Ube Mille Crepe is not only delicious but it is also the prettiest shade of purple!! And whoever thought of adding the gold flakes on top is brilliant! The crisp on the Pandan Kaya Honey Toast was heavenly - so easy to bite into. It is filled with a delicious Pandan sauce that flows when you cut into the toast. I don't know how they managed to create this perfection because now it is on top of my list. My husband is super picky and he was so impressed by it which truly says something! Please come to east coast because I am honestly considering moving across the country for your desserts."
"Service was very good. Drinks excellent. Food was great, wish I able to eat more LOL. The view is beautiful and the decorations are funNice ambiance."
"I was looking for something filling, not the usual and nothing commercial.I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and oh my goodness, it did not disappoint. Delicious, well-made, East-African seasoned chicken plate with fresh, great quality ingredients. Huge portion size and immensely satisfying. the prices are great and the establishment is impeccably clean. I will absolutely be back. Easy choice if you're in the area."
"My favorite Thai spot for take out in the city. The food delivers every single time. They also don't skimp on portions and have good rewards if you frequently order from here. I've tried the green curry with beef, yellow curry with chicken, drunken noodles, panang curry, short ribs, spicy eggplant, and spicy catfish. Every single thing is tasty and full of flavor. My favorite items are probably the green curry, short ribs, and catfish. They really do mean it when they say spicy, so don't go for Thai spicy unless you can really handle it! I've never been to the actual restaurant so I can't speak to the dining in experience, but I highly recommend trying this out!"
"If you've ever planned a toddler birthday party, you will know how all-consuming and stressful it is to get goodie bags, food, games and location ready for twenty-some kids plus their siblings and parents. Imagine being strapped to a roller coaster ride that just goes down the entire time. Fresh. Hell.Year one is easy. The baby doesn't care what color the frosting is, what flavor the cake is, or if there's a bouncy house nearby. You can pretty much get away with one trip to Safeway and a big tarp. Ten babies on a big tarp with some goldfish crackers...DONE.Year two is a little trickier, however. There is a complexity to the two-year old that can only be described as "picky indifference." They seem to like and dislike everything within a five mile radius of their grabby little hamhock hands and it's up to the parent to figure out how to placate such a conundrum of crazy. When it comes to cake, I found mini cupcakes to be a little hard to manage. Although very cute, there was still issue of the kids attacking the plate and grabbing four. Not cool, two-year old savages. NOT COOL.Kathy's Kakes were a good solution to this issue, since they are all individually wrapped and very appealing to the toddler eye. The kids loved the "pop" aspect of it as well, and there was no big clean up. Awesome for exhausted mommy. They were also very tasty. We ordered strawberry and chocolate with our online coupon, which gave us a dozen for $12. Quite a deal, since it was half price.Year three is coming up. I'm ordering a piñata, buying a Pin the Tail on the Donkey, ordering cake pops...maybe a fire extinguisher. Who knows what kind of debauchery this age will reveal?! Also, whoever invented "The Goodie Bag?" A THOUSAND TIMES I CURSE YOU.(FYI: If you order pops, you will be picking them up at a designated time from what seemed to be a stationary store. I walked past it a few times before realizing this.)"
"Had a great time at the new IKEA food hall. I ordered the paneer tikka masala and enjoyed it! I love the ambiance at the Ike food hall. Curry up Now is on the 2nd floor and is like a mall food court. At the time of writing this review, it is very clean, bright, and open. The paneer itself was very tasty and recommend it. I wasn't a fan of the lentils they felt a bit grainy, but I haven't had too many lentils before so they weren't a consideration for my review. Friendly staff and I received my order quickly within 5 minutes of placing it. I have not tried them before so I am not sure how it compares to their other location. When you order, they provide you a buzzer and utensils are self serve at their counter."
"I don't even know what to say about this. There are no analogous experiences. I was the most feckless, ridiculous customer ever. I didn't know how to order, I pushed a button and canceled my transaction, and I changed my order after the fact. I also am pretty sure I broke their receipt machine just by standing near it.I had no idea what I was doing; I just knew there were insane smells and some kind of cronchy biscuit fish and ice cream and that I NEEDED SOME. In the afterworld, if you've lived a good life, kissed many puppies and defended the sacred lake with a band of noble friends, this is what they serve you for dessert."

Uji Time Dessert is located on the lower floor of Japan Center West Mall. There is no seating inside, and when I visited, there was a long line to order from the kiosk. After placing an order, customers wait to have their number called. Therefore, there's not much of an ambiance to this place.I got the Taiyaki cone, which includes one flavor, one filling, and two toppings. For an additional dollar, you can get two flavors stacked. I really enjoyed the Nutella filling over red bean, which I opted for as a topping instead--otherwise, it would have been too much red bean. The ube ice cream had a strong purple yam flavor, which some say tastes artificial, but I liked it. It's one of the better ube ice creams I've had. The topping selection is great, with choices like honey, soy bean powder, chocolate wafers, and marshmallows.Orders come out quickly, but finding a place to eat can be tricky. Many people sit on the ledges and benches by the stairway, which gets especially crowded when it rains and people seek shelter.Overall, Uji Time Dessert is a solid spot for ice cream in San Francisco's Japantown, though the lack of seating can be an inconvenience.

4.5 stars rounded up. Zero& is one of the top boba places in the city for me. The boba are a good size and texture. The drinks taste good consistently. The flavors aren't super artificial tasting. Granted I don't drink caffeine so I can't speak to the quality of their milk teas. Their crème brûlée milk with boba is decadent. The taro ube drink is good, but I'd rather just have taro by itself. I wonder if there is a way to customize this? I like that there are caffeine-free and dairy-free options. I tried using their app a while back due to a promise of a free drink on my google pixel phone and it was crap. The app wasn't designed for google pixels I guess and the add item to order button was hidden, literally could not access it. My partner's oneplus phone had no problem lol. Go figure. There is only a little bit of seating near the window ledge as I remember it. It would be nice if they added more seating somehow. It's nice to be able to take a break from walking all over the city. Offering tourists a respite would be nice too. Unfortunately, they don't really have employees as cashiers anymore if you have questions. There's just a couple screens you order from. This place needs a deep clean! and a paint refresh! I don't know why the owners/designers would go would a stark white aesthetic if they aren't going to keep it clean.

All of the Hungry Crumbs cookies are great! They are unique because they sell stuffed cookies. The cookies are huge and perfect in every way. The lemon curd, banana biscoff and ube are my favorites. Love seeing small businesses from other neighborhoods operating downtown so I can grab treats at the office! These are also great for company events as they are individually packaged. Check out and support all the other small businesses at the Vacant to Vibrant website.

Creative desserts + friendly service. The space was small with about 6-7 tables so you might have to wait for a little bit to sit down.- Pina Colada bingsu: i liked it but thought that the ice was quite packed and not powdery like other bingsu places. They bruleed the pineapple, put coconut condensed milk on the side. You can adjust how sweet you want it to be.- Matcha cake: I had this a few years ago and it was a seasonal item. It was so good that I still dreamed about it now and then.Overall, I would recommend this place if you want to try Asian-inspired desserts

Food was delicious! I ordered a pesto pizza and it was perfectly cooked and was great for sharing. I also ordered their Christmas peppermint hot chocolate which was great as well. The view is beautiful with nearly a full view of the harbor! Staff were polite and professional! It's definitely a more expensive restaurant on the pier but it's perfect for a holiday or anniversary!

"Good italian good and very friendly staff. If you eat inside the vault, then there will no phone signal."
"Food is very meh, and the condiments on the table are not adequate or traditional. There is no Chinese chili oil paste on the table. Instead there is black pepper and siracha (feels cheapened and dumbed down. Might as well put ketchup on the side too). The wonton soup broth is bland and watery, which is a shame because the wontons and veg are good. The chicken fried rice is decent with a smoky flavor. The salt and pepper chicken wings are breaded and not traditional. This completely threw us off. They were not what we were expecting at all. Personally I wouldn't name them this, as it's misleading. While they are good in their own way, they are Americanized. The Xiao Long Bao are decent, but not worth the money. The garlic noodles with pork were really good. The noodles were springy and chewy. But they use American broccoli that's over steamed, why not use Chinese broccoli (especially in Chinatown). The Shrimp Har Gow was the biggest winner. Big and plump. Good consistency. The interior is fun and modern, but the food feels like the quality of a mall food court. Just tweak a few things here and there to make it more authentic and you'll be 5stars. So much potential!!"
"My boss's favorite cake spot! We get Whole Cakes for the office more often than we should but we love the black sesame too much. I hope their FiDi location stays open because it would be sorely missed by my firm if it ever went."
"The BEST cookies in sf! Was craving sweets and just ordered them on DoorDash -- They came perfectly wrapped, warm, and had the right amount of crispy vs. chewy! My husband and I loved the snickerdoodle, dark chocolate chip and rainbow confetti sugar. My picture does not do these justice, highly recommend!"
"The food was amazing! Highly recommend the bruschetta and fettuccine di tartufo. Vince and his staff were incredible. Had a really nice dinner! Thank you so much!!"
"Tindahan Pinoy is located in a strip mall that has Pho Dao, Đại-Thành Supermarket, Popeye's Louisiana Chicken, T4, etc.The parking isn't too bad. Small place with a couple of shelves full of merchandise for sale. They have a steam table for some food and a kitchen in the back to quickly cook other foods.I came in here to try their breakfast meal of two scoops of garlic rice, a fried egg, tomato & cucumber slices and one meat (Tocino) (3.5/5). It was prepared in about 5-6 minutes. It's usually crowded but not at the time I visited."
"I spend thousands of dollars at the bakery each year buying buns and cakes for my family and friends and as a reward for a high spender like me.. I recently received a free bday sponge cake. Love it how they rewards their loyal customers with a generous gift but it's not good as it looks.I ordered this bday cake for my family member and had the most pleasure of discovering the components of the cake. Fruit is fresh, cake tastes fresh however, why do I feel they are skimping out of the sponge cake? Every cake I order from them, I am instantly reminded of how skimpy there are but every time that perhaps... maybe they ran out of cake?? That it's okay to forgive them cuz they are busy? But after buying their cake year round for entire family about 8-9 people, but over time, I came to the conclusion that there is no hope that they will fix the way they make their cake. Unapologetically skimping.25% cake20% fruits55% cream I'm trying to be very fair and report the truth. Maybe the chef loves whip cream and just feel that the cake is better with whip cream? I'm thoroughly disappointed with their cake making practices. I just cannot find the sincerity that's supposed to make me feel appreciated as a customer. Very disappointing."
"Love this bakery.Order was delivered in time. Cakes are amazing. Definitely recommended!"
"Interesting dishes, well executed and delicious.Recommend the crying tiger shrimp salad, pork jowl and skirt steak. Dishes were flavorful and proteins were cooked perfectly.Skip the tuna tataki if you're sensitive to fishiness (not the most fresh) My friend said the NA Riesling was good, my NA cocktail "planet popstar" was fine but not memorable.A+ service from FOH"
"My son's 4th birthday party was less than a week away when I finally got myself together to order a cake. I worked with Jessica and her team on a construction-themed birthday cake, and we were so excited to see what they came up with.I had seen other Yelp reviews with construction cakes so had a really good starting point. We wanted to have the cake share colors with the Pupstruction show so I shared the Pupstruction logo. Email communication plus a phone call was all Jessica and team needed for the cake. Jessica's team even purchased construction vehicles from Amazon - and within the relatively short timeline. We were really happy with how the cake turned out and (most importantly) so was our son. Success! We'll be back."
"Great casual dinner and desserts place that closes pretty late compared to other restaurants in this area. Whenever I craved glutinous rice balls filled with sesame, I come here. They seem to have a bit more variety here on HK-style snacks than other places. Although known more for desserts, they also have a limited savory menu.Located on 7th Ave between Geary and Clement."
"i've only had crinkles once in my life and this would be the second. i'm such an obsessed cookie addict lol. I just had to give it a try! Madel is incredibly sweet and you can just tell she puts a lot of time into making these perfect little crackin' cookies. the textures are really soft and the flavors are to die for. the ube, chocolate, and matcha were all so good! I mean i've never seen a prettier presentation for cookies in a line haha. communication was such a breeze with her! highly recommend. thank you!"
"Sunday 9:30am:Love the classy cool vibe, friendly service & of course the tasty food. I saw Avocado Toast on the menu so was willing to walk through a dicey part of SOMA to get here. What an oasis! The large floor to ceiling windows surround the modern, elevated industrial design. Folsom facing windows frosted to mask the reality of where you are. There's a couple comfy sofas, lots of seating & a large piano. The perfect place for a Ladies Who Lunch, complete with a glass of wine & a piano concert. First thing inside the door is the order counter. Because I didn't completely read the menu I missed the options of tomato, onion, cucumber, even a potato chip add-ons. I wasn't adventurous enough to have jam layered in with the avocado & hard boiled egg slices. The bread was actually toasted! Absolutely yummy, although the avocado was about a day short of completely ripe. No matter, this fruit is near impossible to gauge ripeness before you cut open.Oh, the beautiful presentation. Upscale ceramics & gold tableware on a heavy black metal tray worthy of SFMOMA gift shop. By 10:30 am there was a steady stream of locals, dogs & children in tow. I'll definitely come again with a newspaper & relax with a Bingsu & chill in the soothing atmosphere. I hereby proclaim Dento Piano Wine Bar & Cafe destination worthy. Support Local!"
"My friend and I came here for lunch yesterday for the very first time. We assumed that the Chinese food here would be good because of the huge crowd of Chinatown locals already seated at the tables. My friend ordered the Preserved Pork Stir Fried Cauliflower and I ordered the Taishan Steamed Rice which came with pork and Chinese Sausage. The waitress was very nice and the free pitcher of tea was very good. I guess that since this place first opened for business sometime late last week and they hadn't yet perfected a way of serving a large crowd of people, I had to wait a fairly long time for my order. I was surprised that my dish didn't have as much meat as pictured in their menu. Then again, maybe that was due to the fact that they had just opened for business a few days ago and hadn't had enough ingredients to cook with. Since I live fairly close by to this restaurant and like to support my local neighborhood businesses, I will give this restaurant another try in a few weeks to see if things improve."
"We come to SF at least once a year to visit family and we normally like to plan out our food itinerary for when we're not eating w family. Golden Edge was not on our list but we stumbled upon it as we were looking for a kid-friendly food option last minute. We've tried plenty of pizzerias but this had to be one of the best we've tried (in terms of the speciality pizzas that are served). We tried the spinach sausage and the supremo and the husband and I LOVED the spinach sausage. Prices were comparable to our local LA pizzeria and portions were huge. They also do not skimp on toppings! The cherry on top was seeing the workers/owners (?) treat customers with kindness. I don't see this often and when I do, I make sure to let everyone know because it makes our world a better place. I observed a woman come in to ask for a drink and one of the workers smiled and without saying much handed her a soda. She profusely thanked him and left and that made my night :) Ty for the delicious food--we will be back!"
"My daughter says this is her 5 star place.Quality/Quantity - This was "THE" place when they opened. I remember coming here when they had lines out the door. The good news is that this is still one of my daughter's favorite boba places. Today, as I was getting my usual Peet's coffee, she asked for boba and since we still had half an hour before dinner, I said yes.She got the F3, California Fresh Fruit QQ - Pineapple, Peach, Lychee Jelly and she added boba. She said she didn't realize there were fruit bits and seeds because she felt it had too many toppings.Atmosphere - Cool small spot. The space still looks hip, but they are starting their remodel; see pictures. No bathroom, again starting their remodel.Plenty of street metered parking. Service - Good. Counter service.Price - $8.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2011 and now your other 2 locations."

"I was looking for a bakery that sells macarons in SF and my friend recommended Wildflour Bakeshop. She showed me their instagram which is Wildflour.bakeshop if anyone is interested in looking. They have a variety of desserts from macarons to cookies to custom cakes. I always try to support small and local business owners. I ordered 12 dozens macarons for my birthday party. It was an easy process to order. Julie was very patience and helpful because when it comes to desserts, I am very very indecisive. When I received my order, I was a satisfied customer. I like that even though I ordered many macarons, each one was perfect. I can tell that Julie really spends her time baking and making sure each macaron is perfect before giving them to her customers. None of the macarons were cracked or broken which is a plus.It was a bummer that I was unable to try all the flavors I ordered because they were gone so quickly. I did get to try the sea salt caramel and earl grey honey and they were so yummy!!! My friends really like pistachio and fruity pebbles as well! It was definitely a hit! I 100% recommend and will be a returning customer!"
"Excellent products. Delicious. Yummy. You gotta give them a try! I've tried a number of the products and ALL are excellent."
"Good eggpuffs. My kids and I enjoy them. The shop is clean and there are a few toy machines in the shop. Haven't tried the bobas tho."
"It's been quite a while since I last visited Estampas Peruanas, so I was excited to return. We arrived at around 1ish on Tuesday, and there were plenty of open tables. While we were deciding what to order, we were brought bread, butter, hominy, and their green chili sauce - such a great way to whet the appetite. I was excited that they also had diet Inca cola, which many places do not carry. We ordered the Milanesa con Pollo and the Pescado a lo macho to share. Decent sized portions. Love the milanesa - crispy and flavorful. As for the Pesacdo a lo macho, the snapper was a bit on the small side which was hard to tell as it was covered with all the other seafood. The sauce was good, especially with the rice. We were definitely full when we were done."
"Black sesame latte was delicious with oat milk! Just one barista when I went on a weekday afternoon (I think it was the owner) and they whipped up my drink quickly. Heads up, they don't do personal cups. I usually bring my own to keep my hot drinks hot even when I dine in since I'm guilty of babysitting my drinks-but no biggie since my latte was so good I finished it up quicker than I normally would.Plenty of parking both in front of the shop and I think there's a garage. The vibes inside were very cozy today near the window as it drizzled. I liked the decor and took some moments to admire the walls of art and the huge plant near the door. I'd come back to try some other things."
"Needed an afternoon pick-me-up, and decided to stop by here for some coffee and pastries. This place is located right at the junction of Gough and Oak Street in Hayes Valley. It's a small place, but that's what makes it so charming. Patrons were actually seated in close quarters and socializing with one another in the true cafe spirit.I originally came for the babka. Unfortunately, since it was the towards the end of the afternoon, they were sold out, so opted for the banana date cake with a cappuccino instad. The cappuccino comes with a little mini cube which was NOT a sugar cube, so don't plop it into the coffee like I did. Instead, it tasted like they had put peanut butter or something nutty in it to pair with the coffee. The banana date cake was nice and moist - like cake version of banana bread with bits of date!In the end, I decided to buy a loaf their cinnamon date babka bread. No regrets! Even though I didn't eat it right away, it still tasted amazing for the next few days. The inside was fluffy, airy with layers of cinnamon between buttery layers of goodness and the texture and slight caramelization of the crust just made it all the better! So glad I stopped by! I'm curious to try their savory stuff as well, but definitely picking up another loaf of bread next time I visit during the day time."
