"Alnico's ube hotcakes were definitely what attracted my interest! I came here about 2 years ago on a weekend with a reservation and there was still a wait, that's how popular this place was. The ube hotcakes were delicious and came in big portions. I do wish the hotcakes had more ube flavor - it was a bit too subtle. Still, the pancakes were fluffy and very filling. My friend also got the ube Vietnamese iced coffee, which tasted more coffee than ube - the ube flavor was barely there."
"We happened upon Atlas while on a date in the area, and we both agreed this is probably the best pizza we've ever had!We ordered the Italian garlic combo pizza, noori chicken wings, and potato wedges. The pizza was chock-full of toppings, incredibly flavorful, and the crust had the perfect crunch--so delicious! The wedges and wings were fantastic, well-seasoned, and crispy!Service was outstanding! We initially sat inside, but since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to move to the patio. I didn't catch her name, but the young lady was incredibly helpful in assisting us with the move and was very attentive throughout.Parking was a bit tricky (street parking), but we managed to find a spot near the front. Definitely coming back!"

"We were so lucky to have a party of 11, come on a Sunday evening ,and get seated right away. The host and staff were very accommodating of our small children and quick to help us. The food was easy to order through our phone and surprisingly affordable for being in downtown Redwood City! I love the self serve hot tea station. It smelled of cinnamon. The heaters and lights outside made for an enjoyable atmosphere. The interior transport you to a nice Mediterranean diner. The food was just as delightful and fresh. I love the baba ganoush, the tabouli salad, fluffy pita bread, and chopped chicken skewer plate with rice. The garlic sauce was so perfect. A surprising favorite was their giant charred cauliflower, seasoned and cooked perfectly. This was a sure highlight of our trip!"
"I'm a bit selective when it comes to my wings. I like them to be saucy, but not wet because the wings end up being soggy. But not Fire Wings' wings. I ordered the Saigon wings and the Dragon wings. It's perfectly flavored - umami, spicy, and spicy! Not to mention, the wings were still slightly crispy. I also ordered the chili cheese fries. My first time trying it ever and I actually liked it. The fries were coated and still crispy. Fire Wings is definitely worth trying (again and again)."
"I've had this restaurant bookmarked for over a year and I am so glad I happened to be up the block to finally try it. I tried their spicy lemon pepper and buffalo flavor and both were so tasty. The wings were cooked very well, the skin got nice and crispy on the outside while still retaining the juiciness on the inside. Their French fries were also good. I'd love to try their other flavors next time."
"Curry pizza house is our go-to and never fails! I loved the palo alto location specifically because I love the service there, they made us feel comfortable and asked us if were doing okay periodically! Its a sports bar, and there was a game going on when we went, we loved the whole atmosphere. As a vegetarian, I love the malai paneer pizza the most - its spicy and creamy."
"Delicious Pizza! So good ! Very respectful ! :) recommend this if you feel hungry late night!"
"Best pizza in San Mateo For years we been eating pizza from this place. We always order delivery. Review based on the pepperoni pizza we get only , Cheese on pizza is so good , we always order an XL because we love having left overs from this place when we reheat it comes out like if it was freshly delivered. Although I wish they added more cheese packets in the box . Their pizza is great and worth it."
"Stopped by Sal's Burgers, located in a convenient strip mall off Highway 92. It's a walk-up and order at the counter spot with seating both inside and outside. Perfect for a casual meal. We ordered the SF Patty Melt, which comes loaded with grilled onions, mushrooms, Swiss and cheddar cheese, all on sourdough bread and the Cowboy burger, topped with cheese, an onion ring, pickle, halal bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms, and barbecue sauce. For sides, we went with onion rings and garlic fries. The burger portions were just right--neither too big nor too small, making it perfect for an average appetite. The food took about 10 minutes, which was expected, and both burgers were tasty. The sides were also solid. Overall, the service was efficient, and the pricing was what you'd expect for a burger spot. I'd come back to try more from their menu."
"Went for Weekday Lunch SpecialFood - 5/5. The boneless wings were a beautiful golden brown, moist, and had great crunch. The real garlic had a mellow garlic flavor with a strong hint of sweetness. Despite the wet sauce, the wings remained crispy throughout the whole meal. Cole slaw was light on the mayo, making it a suitable palette cleanser. Pickled radish had a good balance of sweet and sour flavor and the rice was fluffy.Service - 4/5. Friendly and quick service. Chicken came out in good time. Water was self-service.Value - 5/5. At base, the lunch special is priced in the mid $10s. Their menu offers a great variety letting you choose type of chicken and sauce from their full menu. Portions are nice and comes with vegetable sides and a choice of carb, which can also be upgraded for a small supplement.Parking - Street/Municipal Garage (Free)"
"Good service and good food!Their magic cheese chicken was kind of weird, would not get that again! Original was the best. We also enjoyed the spicy and popcorn chicken, as well as the corn cheese. This time, there was K-Pop music! The servers were also great. Shout out to Kyle for taking care of us!"
"After a six month closure Villa Lucia's reopened in late 2024. Many of the staff returned and the new owner is serving up classic Italian American fare. The dishes are very reminiscent of Chicago style Italian food. The house dressing is an herby red wine vinaigrette. Pizza was excellent with a buttery garlic flavored crust.Happy that a local joint managed to reopen and continue in the community."

Wow. What a great brunch we had today. The eight of us arrived at 10:30am. We were lucky. There was a metered parking space in front. For a Saturday morning, metered parking is $8.50 per hour. The food was fantastic. The staff were pretty accommodating. For 8 people, we shared 2 poached chickens, 2 chicken wing and waffles, 2 real loco Moco, a large Ube pancake and shrimp gumbo. All the food was so so good. I especially like the pancakes - it had a lot of sauce on bottom. It wasn't too sweet. And poached chicken over rice porridge was to die for. The seasoning was perfect and the poached chicken was so so tender. The shrimp gumbo hit the spot. Very savory. I loved the Korean fried chicken wings - perfectly glazed. The sesame butter was a hit but even though we ordered the waffles crispy they still weren't crispy enough. The beef patty in the loco moco was too tough. The chicken adobo silog was on point. The chicken was very savory and tender. We also ordered a pitcher of guava mimosa. The waiter said it was about 4 champagne glasses. They were extra generous. We filled 5 glasses! Thank you!

I finally made it down to Redwood City to try the new Mazra. This is a much nicer location than their original one, but why is parking still challenging lol. There's a lot right behind, but you're better off going to the garage across the way. While the food is still great, it is a little confusing at first as a fast casual set up. Your best bet is ordering on your phone with the QR code, but you can get regular table service if you prefer. Food is delicious and plentiful. The chicken shawarma plate comes with nice portions and a good variety of sides. The halloumi cheese rolls with honey is a great sweet and savory snack. I do like being able to grab water and tea at the different self serve stations throughout the place. When the weather is warm, eating outside with a large group is fun. Can't wait to head back!

I ordered Fire Wings through Doordash because I'm lazy and financially irresponsible so I only can rate the food and nothing else. I was craving wings and ordered from their San Mateo location that is in downtown. What I ordered for my friend and I: - Large Garlic Noodles- 20 Piece Wings (Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parm, and Dragon Wings)- Seasoned Fried for the SideI would say what I didn't love personally was the garlic noodles because you couldn't really taste the noodles so they were more like cheese noodles. The wings do hit though. Especially the dragon flavor. What is dragon flavor? I couldn't tell you, but it's good and has a nice sweet tangy flavor to it. The wings are also pretty crispy still despite being delivered. The only flavor I was a bit down on was the garlic parm which is for the same reason as the garlic noodles which is a big lack of garlic flavor so it was like eating cheese wings. They load them up with parm though. The lemon pepper also was great and they definitely have more lemon flavor than some other spots, but it wasn't overpowering. The seasoned fries were seasoned to perfection and good enough on their own to the point where you don't even need to dip them in anything, but they are amazing with ranch. I got introduced to Fire Wings recently and I enjoyed it a lot. I would order from here again.

Great spot with gluten free, cauliflower crust, vegan substitutions. Tasty and satisfying! Plenty of seating inside. Service was great but I came around 5 pm before most people arrived. Overall great experience, if you're looking for a desi pizza in Palo Alto!

This place is really close to our place. I have tried Seniore's a long time ago near inner richmond and remember that it was pretty good, so yesterday we decided to give it another try. 1. Service: they were really quick; from the online ordering to pick up it only takes around 10-20ish minutes. The store itself is not that big, but it doesn't matter because we were picking up for to go. 2. Food: they're really good! Crispy crust yet still chewy on the inside (in a good way). I absolutely love the fresh tomatoes in the special pizza but not a big fan of the peppers but still amazing. Jalapeno poppers is okay- glad they're not using pickled peppers and its really crunchy.

"Ordered the loaded Nashville fries, hot, to go via door dash and they were delicious. All in all I wish the chicken and fries were a little crispier, maybe the sauce should've been on the side but it was great and just what I wanted. Will come back and order some more!"
"Soma pizza and grill is under new ownership. Menu has slightly changed. Service was friendly. Family owned business with family members helping out. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it came with six slides. The pizza had a nice crispy crust almost like a wood fire and we enjoyed it. They make their pizza fresh so you'll have to wait about 10-15 minutes for it. But it's worth the wait just not super quick if that's what you're looking for. We also ordered a large Caesar salad which was a lot smaller than we expected and nothing to rave about. Note, you'll have to mix your own dressing. Plenty of seating for small, medium and large groups with two tv screens available to watch a game."
"As a Korean who's constantly disappointed by Korean food in the states, this was the first time I actually felt transported back home. The ddukbokki flavor is spot on, just like how my mom makes them. The rice cakes that come with every chicken order are such a fun touch too. I ordered through Uber Eats and was surprised to find the chicken still crispy. I personally liked the garlic seasoning over the yangnyeom."
"Very flavorful pizza, a friend and I got the large half½ pizza and ordered the butter chicken and BBQ chicken toppings. I preferred the BBQ chicken as the butter chicken was very rich in spices but a tad dry. The Mango Habanero Wings we ordered in the side was perfect, the sauce was a great balance between sweet and spicy and the chicken meat was tender and moist. Was a little messy, so be sure to bring wet tissues or finger gloves like the ones they had in Ktown LA and in Korea.Store was quite empty on a Monday afternoon for late lunch but it was nice to have such a large space to ourselves where we could talk comfortably without shouting over loud music and people. If you've craving a unique fusion pizza with a spicy kick, look no further! I'd definitely come back to try the tikka masala pizza and more of their chicken wing flavors too!"
"This is not ordinary fish and chips .This is a great value. Delicious fish with tasty fries. The treat was the desserts were delicious. Next time I will try other menu items."
"Ordered via Door Dash and was pleasantly surprised. Burgers were huge, that D2 and I should have probably shared as we got the same thing, The Point Burger- burger w Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions, and mayo. Very tasty and moist inside, even with Door Dash delivery. Upgraded mine with onion rings and it was the perfect choice. Nice batter and crunch. Their fries however didn't make the cut for me. Would I order again, definitely. I would like to possibly dine in sometime."
"Delicious! Tried this place several times via delivery. I believe this place is on Ocean Avenue and nearby the City College main campus. We enjoyed the porridge (jook), Chinese donuts and the steamed rice noodles. The noodle texture is good, smooth and not too thick. Even the cold lemon tea was enjoyable."
"Was really excited to try this spot but sad to say.. the chicken sandwiches were quite underwhelming with 2.5 stars at best.-Fried Chicken Sandwich - Horrible protein to bread ratio, the chicken was small and drier than the Sahara desert.-Flipped Chicken Sandwich - Same protein to bread ratio but chicken was a little juicer.-Garlic Thyme Potato Wedges - probably the best thing I ate this meal, pairs well with their habanero sauce.-Chips that came with the sandwiches were a hit, just the right amount of crunch and crisp.Service was quick, friendly and attentive."
"YUMMA I had a craving for fried chicken and wanted to try out a new spot in the city. Saw on Yelp that this place was really loved so I gave it a shot!!First off, even though there's not that many reviews, it was always pretty busy! The service was really excellent and welcoming. Food wise, my group of three split the 8 piece chicken which came with cornbread and two large sides (yes we had leftovers). The chicken was so crispy and I could taste the rosemary seasoning in the chicken itself! Not too dry either! For sides, we got the Mac and cheese and candied yams. LOVED the Mac and cheese (and I feel pretty picky about my Mac's) but the candied yams were a tad too sweet for my personal taste. The cornbread was unlike any cornbread I've ever had, and was delicious!"
"First time trying these wings. There is a $10 lunch special for a half order of wings and fries, only in weekdays. 6 wings in a regular order/3 in half. I was a little concerned at the amount until they came out. These wings are hefty. I was very satisfied with 3 wings and fries. Felt like a perfect lunch amount. We got the tropical heat (they say the most famous flavor). It was sweet and pineappley with a habanero heat after you eat. I liked it! Partner thought it was a bit spicy for him that day. By the end of the second wing, my lips were nice and tingly. So, do with that what you will about the spice level. There are a couple more flavors I'd really like to try: garlic rebel and hot mama (a buffalo sauce style). And at this price, looks like I have a new lunch spot. The worker was nice and down to earth. There are enough seats for maybe 24 people. The football game was on over the weekend. Seems very chill and low key and perfect for a few wings."
"I came in to H mart with my friends to check out the food court. It was very crowded with all the tables basically taken. They have seats to eat in for people eating there and the restaurants surrounding. It is good that they have. A system that calls out where the food you ordered came from and a number is on the screen. When I saw the Chicken Wing place, I was gravitated to order their Ginger and Honey Wings. I asked the cashier which one was best or she liked and she said it depends on your taste on whether you like it dried or with sauce. I opted for with sauce which was the 8 wings for $16.99. It was pricey for the amount of wings but it was a good amount when I saw it. It was piping hot when I got it. But when I tasted it I was a disappointed because the flavor was there and tender but the wings were not crunchy. If they were, it would have been a good crunchy fried chicken.I am not sure if I would come back to buy the chicken."
"Updating to 4.5/5 and rounding up to 5.Still would love a garlic Naan type of thing but I have to admit the quality of this place has significantly risen over the past few times I've tried it. Maybe I just learned what to order now. Great job and delicious food!!"
"Dang these wings are excellent. I ordered buffalo (extra crispy), Nashville (hot), and Hot Honey Crunch and they were all not only perfectly cooked, awesome in flavor, and absolutely enormous but they also arrived hot and crispy via delivery! These may be my new favorite SF wings. Prices are reasonable, about $9/5 wings. I also got the Loaded Nashville Fries (xtra hot) and I loved the combination of flavors. I'd say the Nashville tenders are even better than the Nashville wings. Even though I'm a spice fiend and would try all the spicy items hotter next time (considering scorpion and reaper!), my favorite wings were shockingly the Hot Honey Crunch. As a person who never goes for sweet tinged wings, I was shocked at how awesome and well balanced these were. Great experience, will definitely be a repeat customer!"
"I LOVE State of Mind!!! Great for the whole family. Fun vibe, friendly employees. Love the variety of pizza combinations, appetizers and they have the best seasonal salads too!!!! This has become one of my favorite places for dinner out in the Bay Area."
"Very convenient little neighborhood shop. Reminds me of the NY bodegas with their offerings and demeanor.Need to explore their ginormous menu a bit but so far everything has been good. They have cool little prebagged alcoholic cocktail baggies which I thought was cool. Wish they had a price on them not a fan of picking up unlisted items.I'd prolly call in my order if i had the foresight since they make the food to order."
"Solid good burger. If you are craving a burger this is the spot. I got the western burger without bbq sauce and it was delicious.Like any good burger you're going to enjoy you need to eat it fresh when it's handed to you. I live so close I will probably never make a burger at home again.Went on a Friday for lunch and they had plenty of seating and the food came quick.Chefs kiss*"
"Came in for the grand opening 100 pizza giveaway. We must've been #50 in line and it didn't take that long to get our pizza from opening to take out.F O O DHubs and I both got the Tikka Masala Pizza. It wasn't too spicy, which was nice. The crust could've been a little crispier on bottom, but that's the only feedback. The pizza had a good amount of spice/flavor with sauce on top. I don't drink, but there's 16 beers on tap.A M B I A N C EWe loved the pizza window. This place is surprisingly spacious and would be a great place to watch a game or host a party.S E R V I C EService was fast and efficient. We looked at the pizza window for a while because my toddler would've gotten fidgety otherwise and someone came out to check on us.Five stars for an efficient and delicious operation. We'll be back to try another pizza."
"They got two kiosk of order here which takes forever for people to choose what they want. Not the joint's problem. had bulgogi sliders to try and the usual wings. wings is the same, bland inside, flavorful outside breading. it comes with radish; didnt choose rice cause its of low quality. spent $30 for wings and slider. I may try it again next year when i visit my mom cause less choice of food here at metreon but wont be my first choice.waited 12mins for the food with 5 people ahead of me. pretty impressive of how fast it was. they charge you for the operating fee which i never heard off."
"The best wings I've had yet, hands down, by far. BnB has just made all of my old fave wings runner ups!Buffalo (IMO) is so hard to perfect but the "400 Degrees" wing checks every box!-Fried naked (you got options)-All the sauce clings to the wings-Spicy but not too vinegary -So flavorful -Juicy (not overcooked or undercooked)We were actually eating at Oakland Grill Sunday after church when the guys thought it would be a good idea to get wings for the game. The BNB truck was just outside (located in between OG and Federation). We thought they were being excessive getting wings at brunch until they opened them up later for the game and our family scarfed them down in record time.We love the lemon pepper and 400 degrees flavors and have already been back for more! The quality is consistent! My honey now follows the trucks social media so that we can find them when we need a wing fix and I'm sooo so happy to recommend yet another Black Owned Business!"
"So, you might think it's suss that this is a food joint at the back of a neighborhood bar, and seating is just available in the bar itself. So, it you want a more restaurant-like feel, this isn't the place. This is the place for a really really really good burger. Honestly, this side of the City is bereft of great burger places, but this one knocks it out of the park. 1/2 lb burger cooked to perfection, brioche bun, and in my case, beer-battered onion rings and barbecue sauce and some other things. Holy crap it was awesome. The tater tots were hot. I'll be back, for sure"
"Came here with friends on a week night and they were doing a special at the time. We were able to try multiple pizza flavors. Half and half on large (only) pizzas. We tried:MEAT: CHICKEN TIKKA & BUTTER CHICKEN VEGGIE: MALAI PANEER & ALOO GHOBIThe chicken pizza was good but actually I enjoyed the vegetarian pizza more! My favorite of the four flavors was the Malai Paneer, which had a slightly sweet flavor. The Aloo Ghobi was tasty but a bit spicy for my liking. I would definitely come back again for their Malai Paneer. Large size was quite large, was pretty full after eating 3 large slices. I wish I took a picture but Service was great. Explained the menu when we had questions. Very casual dining area. Not too large, with a few tables. I would be curious see how it tastes if I got it for take-out bc having the pizza fresh is usually preferred."
"Decent pizza for the price & that this place is open until 5am. Pizza could have been MUCH warmer considering that it's less than a mile from my hotel. But delivery was faster than expected so can't complain."
"I love the burgers. it's soooo cheap at the window, less than $9 for burger and fries. the fries aren't fresh but it's worth going for the burger!! You get better service and a better burger at the window versus ordering online at "the Burger Trilogy". This one girl, while i was there, thought the worker had an attitude and was "mean-mugging" her, but the woman who takes the orders is really nice and tries to make conversation. She even asked me to let her know how i liked the burgers but i'd had them before through grubhub. Grubhub the burgers are like $12 so still a super good deal. I really do highly recommend this place, especially because they're open late and the burgers come out quick enough. the fries are sometimes old but you could always ask for fresh fries and it'll just take more time for your order to be made."
