"Absolutely solid steak place that serves other things like branzino, veal piccata, stroganoff and lobster ravioli (menu changes frequently). Did I mention Brazen Head serves steak? YES!Because this is the way when you want a very good to excellent cut of Prime Rib, New York strip, Filet Mignon or thick bone-in pork chop - and you can get it right up until closing time. Come as you are after work or in a sweater and jeans. Dining room is small and pub snug, packed solid on a Friday night (75 minute wait, no reservations) so even with the wind kicking up and a bit of rain, we settled in at the parklet outside, made toasty with a heat lamp. We were surprisingly cozy. (Don't say 'no' out of hand to sitting outside in inclement weather; it was warm and not crowded.)The Incinerator had penne and meatballs, tasted like the meatballs were beef, pork and veal, excellent. I had the Prime Rib, a dish I'd been craving for two years. It's hard to find unless you're going to pay rent and get dressed to the nines. Here at Brazen Head it was perfectly rare with very fresh horseradish that's deliciously potent, beware!Service (thank you Erin) made the meal special: She didn't skip a beat and made sure my son got an extra thick slice of carrot cake. Best to take Uber as parking is not easy. Lombard is probably your best bet but 8/10 for a high degree of difficulty, no private lot.Next time I won't be away so long: Dinner was great and service put it over the top!"
"Great breakfast place! Pat's corned beef hash was delicious! The veggie hash was also quite good. The croissant sandwich was huge and croissant flakey and tender. Coffee was hot and frequently refilled."

"Buster's is a gem in the North Beach neighborhood. One of the best cheesesteak sandwich places in San Francisco and it's been around so you know they had time to perfect the flavors. The restaurant is small with a few bar seating inside but there is a parket with additional outdoor seatings.Service was fast! It was not even 5 minutes when our orders arrived. I got the North Beach cheese steak and added mushrooms. It was delicious and a bit challenging to eat neatly. The sandwiches were piping hot and had a perfect ratio of bread to filling. Make sure you grab some chili garlic and honey garlic sauce. They are the perfect condiments to the sandwich and fries."
"Didn't get to visit Aliment but we had them cater for an event at a different location and they brought their sliders- SO GOOD.There was a good variety of sliders, with juicy patties, and a bun to match. After getting to try them, they are definitely on my list of places to visit on my next visit to SF!"
"This place has been on my list for a while and I'm so happy I finally went! I entered through the back, so don't park on the Embarcadero if you want to enter through the front. The space reminds me of an old school diner and the staff were super friendly! We ordered a pastrami sandwich, salad, and the french onion soup which were all amazing, especially for the price. Don't skip out on the soup as it was probably the best I've had in the city."
"How have I never reviewed this place?LOVEGreat burger and fries in a classic San Francisco hole-in-the-wall. So good.Open late.LIKECounter seating, elbow to elbow with friendly strangers, watching the cook grill up orders."
"I had a lovely brunch with a former colleague today and really enjoyed the veggie scramble. We talked at length with the charming long-time owner and had a great experience at this quaint place."
"Fly Bar had a decent food selection in addition to drinks and cocktails. They had a lot of outdoor seating too that was dog friendly. There were a a couple options for pizza and I loved the veggie one, and it was pretty affordable for the portion size. We also ordered wings and a salad which I thought were ok. Overall thought this was a nice bar with good outdoor seating and food!"
"This is the best kept secret at Kezar Pub: order the Fresh Fruit Bowl. I wanted a break from traditional breakfast fare so I decided to order it. I was skeptical at first, but when this item got to my table my expectations were exceeded. I had a large bowl of fresh fruit right in front of me. There were freshly cut bananas, pineapples, watermelons and grapes. It was delicious! This item came with a small amount of syrup on the side but I found no need for it."

"Great pub grub at reasonable cost! Menlo Park gem! First time chowing here and must say the pub grub is good and there's something for everyone here. Casual environment, great for sitting with a friend, relaxed environment enjoying some good bar food. It's been here decades, and more decades to come! Burgers, hot diggities dawgs, sammies, salads, crazy spiced egg thingy, pizza and much more! Excellent service, nice peeps serving up grub to citizens in need of some munching. I ordered the BLAT, spicy deviled egg and wings served crispy with no sauce. Everything was great and good quality. However, die hard fans don't get mad at me...I do not like the spicy deviled eggs. I understand it's a menu icon and especially with area locals but my kind of deviled egg is formed not goopy. I love me a good deviled egg but not as they have made. Otherwise, I loved everything. Stop by when you're in the area! Cheers!"
"Tucked away by SF state and hidden away in the fog is a gem of a burger.Hall of flame has mostly classic burgers, with Niman ranch burger Pattie's (yum). I ordered the humdinger, which has a generous helping of mushrooms on top. My boyfriend and I were craving the same burger so the only difference was his was medium and mine was medium rare. Both were so juicy. As soon as we bit in, our hands were splashed. The house salad was yummy with a light and balanced dressing that is neither too sweet nor too acidic. Quite large for the price! The service and ambiance are what you expect from a casual burger spot. They're quick and kind; the chairs and cups are plastic. But if you're just looking for a quick, casual burger while watching some sports, this is the spot."

These days one can have almost anything delivered provided one pays for them. Yet I was still surprised (shocked ) I can order a prime rib for delivery. I always seer this food as something I would eat at a steak house or restaurant. We recently had a very busy day and didn't want to go anywhere, but of course yours truly had a hankering for prime rib, baked potato and all the fixin' you get. I was browsing the delivery app and I punched in prime rib randomly because that's what I was feeling and Brazen Head showed up! Now we have never been to BH, but this place is on our list to try, so what better way to try than now. The prime rib came nicely packaged in a brown handled bag with a lovely BH logo. Inside, prime rib, baked potato, cream spinach and some au jus. Also some bread, cheese, the toppings for the potato and some sour cream. I forgot whether they gave us horseradish... We thought the prime rib was slightly too salty, but otherwise the meal was delicious. We made a salad on the side and that was our meal.

Delicious Breakfast at Pat's CaféI had a chance to stop by Pat's Cafe for breakfast during the work week. Even though I wasn't very hungry, the Polk Street Omelet caught my eye, so I ordered it along with a cup of regular coffee. The omelet is made with bacon, ham, bell peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese, and it comes with home fries and your choice of toast. The coffee was still great! I loved its flavor, just as I did on my last visit a few years back. The omelet was as good as I hoped it would be. While sitting and sipping my coffee, I noticed how the staff interacted with other customers. I was so impressed with their attention to every table that I had to compliment Ricardo, who served my table, and the young lady who seemed to be the manager. They were both so attentive that it made me wish I could hire them if I were a restaurant owner! The place is cozy and well-maintained. The service is excellent, the coffee is awesome, and the food is delicious.

We were in this part of town for the free Zhu concert this past week, and when we didn't find any food at the night market worth waiting in line for, we decided to go with my all-time favorite for a cheesesteak, Buster's! For less than $15 you can get the most delicious and tastiest cheesesteak I've eaten in the Bay Area, when I compare cheesesteaks, this is my bar. I typically go for the most whole sub cheesesteak bc it has lettuce, tomato, and mayo but the jalapeño cheesesteak is where it's at, just be sure to ask for mayo too. While it tastes good when you bring it home, nothing beats a fresh one, eating it at their counter seats. Watching the chef make it fresh, getting it piping hot, it's my comfort meal. Don't sleep on their burger and garlic fries as well. Burger is massive and a great value. I used to think this spot was good for late night, but I've come to appreciate Busters at all times of the day and in any situation. It's reliable and even on an off day still satisfies the craving for a tasty meal.

Before hitting the Regency for a Sango concert this last Friday night my friend and I stopped in at Aliment. It was past busy, with a large party of about forty people in the back being served an array of cocktails, all tables in the front seating area were taken, and we were asked if we had a reservation. So, I say make a reservation here if going on the weekend. After a little more than five minutes my friend and I were sat at the bar, ordering cocktails but being told that the bartenders were catching up on a large order of cocktails for a large party. From their mocktail menu I ordered the Mock Trail. It was sparkling and perfectly flavored with ginger and turmeric for me. If you find ginger and lemon juice to be refreshing, try this. However, I do hate their straws. I get it I get it, save the turtles. I still hate the straws, but I live to see another day. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place deciding between the flank steak salad and the wild mushroom fettuccine. Having to choose is criminal, but I opted for the steak salad and my friend ordered the fettuccine with steak, medium. I, for one, loved my salad. Arugula has that peppery taste that is paired perfectly with steak, so I knew it would be a pleasant salad but I do have one bone to pick. My steak, though done medium well, was just a bit too charred for my taste. However, the Parmesan cheese and balsamic helped to soften the strong flavor of the char. I never want that type of char on a steak again though. The fettuccine was creamy, hearty and warm to the bone. We also ordered the Parmesan truffle fries and they are so delicious. To be frank, they remind me of the Patatas Bravas from 620 Jones down to the sauce they're served with. It isn't a matter of who did it first, but man, I love truffle anything and these fries were savory. Couldn't keep my hands out of the basket. Overall the ambiance is very busy, but the staff is friendly, inviting and attentive.Summarized Ranking (asterisks are stars)Mushroom Fettucine *****Grilled Flank Steak Salad ***Parmesan & Truffle Fries *****Mock Trail ****Service*****

Perry's menu is pretty straightforward. There is something for everyone. I've had everything from the Cobb Salad to the Reuben sandwich, and everything has been great. They even make their own potato chips!Service was warm and hospitable. The view of the Bay Bridge is unparalleled. Ask for a table by the back windows or eat outside if the weather is nice. The full bar serves tasty drinks. Brunch is available too.We had the chocolate lava cake for dessert.Prices are reasonable--3 people $116.00.It's located in an inviting spot on Stuart Street. Boulevard and the Harbor Court are nearby.

The best late night hang over cure in the area. It's a one man show who's cooking, taking orders, and working the register. Service was fast and food was hot off the grill. I recommend the onion rings and everything on the burger +bacon

Best brunch ever! I first came here while pregnant and immediately fell in love with the food and service. Now, even after having my baby, my husband and I continue to come back, and it never disappoints. I'm especially grateful to the manager, Hasan. Today, we initially chose to sit outside because there wasn't much space inside, and we had our baby in the stroller. Noticing this, Hasan kindly asked if we preferred sitting indoors and made space for us at a cozy table where we felt completely comfortable. Thank you so much, Hasan, for your consistently top-notch service. See you next time!

I had seen this place hosting Monday night Bingo and wanted to check it out.I wish the signage was a little more apparent, since I couldn't tell if I was in the right place or if they were even having Bingo. It's hosted by SFTrivia, and isn't the flashiest but a fun weeknight activity. They have multiple rounds and prizes including fun drinks and some giveaways. We got the Austin Mule and Act Right (sangria). I loved the mule and it had the perfect kick and was definitely strong enough. They have a selection of pizzas and appetizers. We didn't end up getting any of the food, but it also didn't look or smell all that appealing.I might come back for Bingo night, but not just for the food or drinks.

"House made chai!! Very nice! I'll be back! Was told that I will love it. I did!! Egg sandwich- the bread absolutely amazing! The quality of each of the ingredients was excellent and NOT overwhelming so you could enjoy every bite. I did not add anything to the sandwich until the very end I added Tapatio as I like variety! Yeah a great choice, not needed but enjoyed!! Environment is awesome! Big open windows looking out to the school and Dolores park! Large inside and outside dining with plenty of space to visit in small groups or singles! Oh and nice music loud enough ti enjoy but not disturb! Clean and inviting staff was eager and working hard but not interrupting! Excellent Thanks for a great morning !"
"Favorite of mine for brunch or lunch! The pet friendly patio is a plus and the food is consistently satisfying."
"While on a business trip in San Francisco, I stumbled upon Heist in the Lower Nob Hill | Union Square district. I found a bustling, high-paced scene, in which hunger was being robbed from a crowd of patrons by a highly-skilled team of restaurateurs serving up outstanding, homemade delicious food and drink options.I managed to score a single counter seat on a Saturday morning. Make sure you arrive early, as lines form quickly and reservations are first-come, first served. I was greeted by a very friendly woman, who answered all of my questions about the menu in a very polite, albeit speedy, pace given the current scene. Having a front row seat next to the kitchen, I was able to watch dozen of breakfast goodies (burritos, french toast, pancakes, avocado toasts) being whisked out to happy customers waiting for their own delectable loot to arrive. I went with the Heist Breakfast Plate ($24.50), which is 3 scrambled eggs w/cheese, choice of one buttermilk pancake or French toast, home potatoes, secret sauce, & toast. You also get your choice of one: house chorizo, house chicken sausage, or bacon. I went with the recommended French toast and house-made chicken sausage. For my drink, an Espresso, which was hot, wonderfully bold and delicious. About ten minutes later, my reward finally arrived. The plate itself was presented beautifully. A perfect combination of color, textures, savory and sweet, all timed to perfection. I surgically began with the French toast. The brioche bread was amazing, perfectly cooked with an outstanding berry compound butter. The home potatoes were amazing. Flash fried crispy on the outside and wonderfully smooth and soft inside. The addition of the "secret sauce" was also a perfect dipping partner in crime. The eggs were also cooked to perfection and the cheese was a nice accomplice. The house-made chicken sausage was absolutely incredible. A perfect blend of chicken, onions, flavors and seasoning, with the right amount of heat to balance the sweetness of the star French toast. The olive bread was also great - that famous San Francisco sourdough with a little bonus. A treat!Heist is an outstanding addition to the neighborhood. It has a great down-to-earth family-friendly feel, without the "greasy spoon" aspect of a diner. Think elevated diner food in a way that only San Francisco's restaurant scene can deliver. Prices are on par with everything in San Francisco, and the quality is among the best. A few outdoor seats, along with room for about 40-50 guests inside. The bathroom is a small, all-gender WC, kept very clean. I highly recommend a Heist stop next time you are in San Francisco to score some amazing food, friendly ambiance and great downtown energy."
"If you have to kill time before departing at SFO, go here! Or if the person you're picking up from SFO is starving and they're open, go here! Good parking lot. Don't have to find street parking."
"4.5 rounding up to 5This restaurant is beside the Holiday Inn Express in Burlingame. I was really happy to see a full sit down restaurant instead of a fast food chain adjacent to the hotel. My first impression was that it looks very well established (old) but still in decent shape. We arrived at 3pm Sunday so I wasn't surprised (and glad) that it wasn't too busy. It's quite large, with separate dining rooms for booths and tables, bar side with smaller stand-up and stool tables, and a private event room. Tons of window seats all around. We were quickly greeted and seated with menus. Not too long after our server began to attend to us. Water came out immediately with our heavy cutlery in full, substantial napkins. We ordered a pan of nachos for the 3 of us to begin. They came out fairly quickly and we placed our entree orders. The condiments included 5 Beaver brand mustards and horse radish. I saw Tabasco included on other tables so not sure why it's not always provided. Our mains came soon after (original burger with fries; Philly cheese steak -beef with fries; and another Philly cheese steak -beef with Caesar salad.) Choice of sides is included and they were fries, kale salad, Caesar salad, Cole slaw, BBQ potato chips, potato salad and for an additional $2, sweet potato fries. The nachos themselves were pretty oily, but well loaded with guacamole, sour cream, black beans, tomatoes, red and green onions, pickled jalapeños,cilantro, and some cheese. The 3 of us ate maybe half, and then only 1 of us finished his burger. We were given containers and cutlery, napkins and a bag for the rest of our sandwiches and nachos. We stuck with water and one coffee, which I'm glad I skipped as it tasted like hotel coffee and came with those tiny creamers you I need 50 of to get the amount I take. The bread on our sandwiches was awesome, hot and soft but hefty enough to handle all the fillings. The fries had seasoned salt instead of plain which I didn't think an improvement, but the fries themselves were very good, fresh, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Caesar salad interestingly comes with Kalamata olives, good quality but it makes you wonder if you're not eating a Greek salad instead. We'd have loved to try some dessert but we were too full. I was especially intrigued by a new offering called Sour Puss Cake which looked like a lemon cake with possibly raspberry jam between layers. The case is sort of odd in that it looks like an old diner appliance right at the front entrance, whereas the rest of the place is definitely above diner level decor. The huge booth we had was so comfy and cozy, and the warm colours and wood finishings are like a lounge. Our server was so on the ball, she automatically noticed the hotel key holder and added the 10% discount without our mentioning it. She was that perfect combination of attentive yet never hovering uncomfortably.I'm pretty sure that even though we're only here a few days and away sight seeing the whole time, we'll be back before we head home."
"Oh snap, this place is awesome!!¡First, don't order, ask Romeo what to get. He'll set you up after a few questions. I had all the stouts, they were spectacular, especially the girl scout cookie one.Fantastic experience, thank you!!"
"Casual breakfast spot with Some of their standout dishes including the corned beef hash, Nutella waffles, and chicken & waffles. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it's a great place for breakfast or brunch. Popular menu items like their Irish hash and fried chicken sandwiches are consistently flavorful. Though the food quality is generally good, some customers feel a few dishes could use more seasoning. Overall, it's a solid option for comfort food and friendly service ."
"This is specifically a review for the Tuesday Trivia at 7:30pm! You need to make sure to get there pretty early if you want to snag a table, it was absolutely packed! But totally understand why, it was super fun and well organized! Winners get prizes ranging from $40 in bar credits to bottles of mini sparkling wine.In terms of food, the totchos felt the most worth for the price (huge portions for $10) as opposed to the burgers ($12-14). Ordering got a bit backed up so you do have to wait for a while, but the main star of the night is the trivia not the food.Definitely will come back again for the fun night!"
"Fantastic lunch at Perry's today. Service is always amazing and bar top tables were open. Steak sandwich, burger with blue cheese, everything was delicious. Perry's had a fantastic vibe and is impossible to beat for lunch. Tons of art and history everywhere."
"Really good NY style pizza. The restaurant even emulates the feeling of being in a NYC pizza shop. We ordered garlic knots, salsiccia pizza, margherita pizza, and pepperoni pizza for takeout and it was ready at the expected pickup time. The garlic knots were a crowd favorite! And the side of marinara that it came with was tasty. Wish we ordered more of these because they disappeared quick! I only got to try the Salsiccia, but the toppings went well together. Although the jalapeños weren't spicy, it did pair well with the sausages. My friends enjoyed the margherita pizza given that the tomato sauce is really good. The pizzas were incredibly thin and had the perfect crust. Not sure if the pizzas were extremely cheesy or our pies weren't cut all the way through, but we did have to separate the slices with a cutter at home."
"I've been coming here for years now. The food is great and Tony and crew are the nicest people in the world. They have indoor and outdoor dining options and are dog friendly as a result. The Poor Man's Steak Frites is probably my favorite but there are a number of standouts on the menu, which does change occasionally. The risotto cakes are another great option if you're out feeling meat. They also always offer burgers with an Impossible option."
"Phenomenal atmosphere and service from Julio at this Mel's. The food and drink were great and the staff ensured everyone was satisfied and smiling. Great leadership and hospitality all around."
"I have been to the Players Sports Bar & Grill several times but never ate here I just came here just to play the Arcade Games!!!!! The game that I like playing the most would be the Shooting Gallery Game & Playing The Token Game That Gives u the Super Hero cards like Dr Strange Iron Man & Other Marvel Super Hero Cards!!!!! The next time I'm here I would wanna eat here!!!!!"
"We found the Baywatch Breakfast place by accident and it was a real treasure! Most of the restaurants in the area are trendy and specialized and this has the old school dinner feel. The food was delicious! Fresh fruit and I recommend the breakfast burrito. I love that they leave a carafe of coffee with you so you don't have to ask! Friendly local down to earth service! It's definitely a new favorite."
"This place is a gem Friendly staff, super niceOpen lateFood was outstanding Great atmosphere vibe Highly recommend"
"I always get exceptional service when I visit during the baseball season. I have had everything on the menu and have enjoyed it very much. I loved the Mac and cheese and the chicken sandwich. I will work on taking more pictures of food. I just feel weird doing that sometimes. This place is worth arriving to a game early and going to public house. It has access to the stadium. I highly recommend."
"This pizza was great! I got a 4 cheese medium pizza to share with my parents and it was very very cheesy. The service was nice, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The menu was very pretty and they had lots of options. If you're vegetarian, they also have a margharita pizza and a veggie pizza, which I would like to try in the future. I can see why this place is well known. Their pizza is very good and you can tell that they make it with love. I hope to come back here again when I'm back in SF and want a nice pizza. They sell slices as well and they have a good amount of seating inside. I definitely recommend it to any pizza lovers."
"Solid 4 stars.Sat outside on the dog-friendly patio. Ordered our food and 15 minutes later we began eating. To my surprise I found out that Camino Corner had Asian fusion options. I would highly recommend the longanisa with garlic rice. All very flavorful food options. Great, friendly customer service. Only downfall is parking. Only street available.Be sure to check in, because with every check-in you get 1 buttermilk pancake ;)"
"We were heading to Bobs for donuts in our first morning in San Fran and girl doesn't subsist on donuts alone. Needed something bit more substantial. On the corner, viola! Toast. Food excellent, service awesome and friendly. Overall was very happy with everything and would def recommend."
"If you're craving a taste of Southern Cajun cuisine, this spot is definitely worth a visit! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the charming NOLA-inspired decor added a touch of authenticity to the experience.I tried the shrimp po' boy, and it was absolutely amazing! The shrimp were fresh and perfectly seasoned, delivering that classic Cajun flavor that hits just right. Every bite was a delightful combination of textures and spices, making it a standout dish.On the other hand, the gumbo didn't quite meet my expectations. The flavoring seemed a bit off, though I couldn't pinpoint exactly what was missing. It might have been a one-off, as the rest of the menu seemed promising.Overall, this place offers a welcoming atmosphere and some delicious Cajun dishes. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, especially if you're a fan of po' boys!"
"If you haven't been able to visit yet, it's about time you took a spin with SPIN! I was the lucky +1 for a corporate event held here and I was impressed! The space was trendy and spacious, perfect for a gathering of the scale we were having. The food was also pretty tasty as well, although I am unclear if this was outside catering or SPIN's own. When the conversation hits a lull with colleagues, there was the option for fun with ping pong, arcade games, and more! My only complaint was I wish there were more seating amenable to eating - it was a little clumsy to try to eat off a bar table. Otherwise, I'd be back here for more ping pong and good times!"
"Not only the food is amazing but the customer service is what makes me want to come back ! This is my first time here and I'm from Hayward so I don't come to Redwood City often but for this place I will! The workers are very friendly! They really care for their customers."
"Stopped by this place for coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast bagel sandwiches were amazing and he can make it with whatever you please. I had egg, avocado, and cheese on Asiago and my husband had egg, bacon, cheese, veggies, with slight spice. We loved them both. Coffee was good with lots of variety. Best of all he was very nice and accommodating as we were just visiting from out of town. Highly recommended!"
