"Came by for a late lunch around 1PM.No line, so we were able to order right away. Let the staff know and they will quickly prep your order. The highlights for me were the brisket, ribs, and mac and cheese. I wasn't a fan of the pulled pork. On the really dry side. Portions are large. There is seating inside and outside.Limited parking in the lot, but we were lucky enough to get a few."
"If you want a sandwich in Durham this is your place! Plus it's a HUGE sandwich! They do not skimp on the toppings! Saw all the yummy reviews on Yelp and decided I needed to try this place out while in town. I had the 25 which is the pepper jelly Turkey sandwich. I got it on sourdough and added tomato and it was delicious! Super generous size and the other half was great for breakfast the next morning. My husband enjoyed his roast beef sandwich and the cheerwine and chips were all yummy. Nice customer service and I wish I lived there bc I would be hitting up this place for sandwiches all the time!"

"Came here off a heavy recommendation while downtown Raleigh. Considering it was cold out, coming to a local coffee shop was just what we wanted. You can view to accompanying photos to see the inside, it's really tasteful and the ambiance is calm and chill. We noticed the cleanliness of this establishment is top notch (including the bathrooms). Service was great, just one worker behind the counter but she was able to keep up. She was so friendly and helped us with ordering what we were in the mood for. I got the Lucettegrace HOT coffee which is two espresso shots with steamed condensed milk. This is exactly what I was looking for and one of the best sweet hot coffee drinks I've had. We also got a chai tea latte which was absolutely delicious. Now on top of the bomb drink experience we got a pastry which I forgot the name of however what was awesome was that the girl ended up giving us a free baklava croissant. This was so unexpected but much appreciated. "I'll be back!" - Arnold Schwarzenegger"
"Stopped by for some quick beers.I opted for their Hazy on tap. When I visited early August, it was very hot and humid out. There were only some fans on, and no AC was turned out (not sure if it is available). Not too busy for the afternoon. Parking is extremely difficult here. You may need to park a few blocks away. Read signs carefully. Lots of construction as well."
"Enjoyed a tasty lunch here at Toast over the weekend. Ordering out front was easy; service was friendly and very helpful. Grabbed a table inside because it was so hot and humid out. Sampled the blackberry peach sour from Ponysaurus and it hit the spot! I loved the pesto panini; herb pesto, roasted tomato, fresh mozzerella and I added thinly sliced chicken to it. Really enjoyed the homemade potato, lemon & leek soup; the chive oil on top really complemented the flavors of the soup, it was really delicious and luxurious. The variety of crostini toasts were nice to sample; my favorite being the one with roasted beets, orange, mint & robiola. The avocado crostini was a little bland and the mushroom & garlic was just ok. Overall, we had a very nice lunch here, would happily come back and recommend Toast to others; thank you!"
"We dined in for lunch on the weekend and had a good experience, it was a good spot to watch football. To start we had a round of drinks (mimosas are $5 for a little Sunday funday action) and the crab dip. For food it was an order of the king crab legs that my mom and I split, and the jambalaya for my husband. It is expensive but it was delicious."
"We ordered takeout from this location and I was very impressed. The young lady on the phone was very professional, polite and helpful. Even told me about a special they had going. Very niceI ordered a medium pizza with ground beef. It was ready when I arrived and I experienced the same good service in the store that I did on the phone. The place was clean and neat. Our pizza was still hot when I got it home and was just as I ordered."
"I am a pretty picky eater, but I do like Turkish Food (a similar cuisine), so when Lebanese friend mentioned coming to Sassool, I was game! The menu has a lot of nice meal options available. We ordered our food at the counter and someone brought our meals out to our table.I had a spinach pizzette, it was awesome! I sampled a bit of my friend's Baba Ghanouj, so tasty. The highlight for me was the fresh pita bread, absolutely mouth watering. The food was so flavorful! My friend loves this place too, so it's the real deal. I can't wait to come back and eat here again. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to Trader Joe's, so come grab a meal before you do your grocery shopping."
"Recently ordered pizza from Babymoon Cafe when in Durham for a visit to Duke Medical Center. After a long drive and 3 very tired people, we were looking for an option to deliver food to our hotel. Babymoon was what we selected after a Yelp search. The transaction was seamless - a super friendly and efficient person took my order via phone. She even asked if we needed plates, napkins and forks. Around 45 minutes later, the pizza arrived. It was still hot and so good! It was a New York style pizza, and the crust was delicious. We chose pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese as our toppings, and they were all tasty. We'll definitely use them again when we're back in the area."
"Back in town visiting and we had to eat at the farmers market! Love my bbq chicken with that great sauce! I bought a bottle to take back with me. The biscuits and hush puppies are still so good. I could make a meal of those alone!"
"Wow wow wow. This is the place to go for something sweet in the triangle area. Dulce cafe has incredible pastries, macarons, and desserts to choose from. What sets this place apart is the craftsmanship. Take a look at the photos posted on Yelp and just marvel in the detail in their work. And looks are just the half of it. They taste better than they look. Don't forget, they also serve breakfast and lunch in the forms of sandwiches and salads, and serve excellent coffee and espresso based drinks. Decent room for seating if you need to get work done too!"
"By chance, I ended up at the Eno River Brewery and was in need of lunch and was excited to see this as an option that was very close by! From the outside, it looked like a very simple place which was part of the draw for me. Deciding between brisket and pork is usually a challenge for me, so I this time I opted for both with two sides. Both the pork and brisket were good. I would consider the Mac and cheese to just be average but did enjoy the corn pudding. The hush puppies were pretty good too! I'm sorry I don't recall my servicer name, but she was attentive. I thought the food was reasonably priced and would totally return again in the future! Thank you for a great meal!"

Food, mouth water good. Efficient service. Ambiance more than VG for a shack. We were here on a Saturday evening at 4-ish. No waiting line. FYI, none of the 4 BBQ joints in Durham on our list opened on Sundays we discovered on Sunday. Plan ahead if Q is on your menu and you don't live nearby. Two of us shared the 3 meat combo which includes 2 sides and it was plenty filling. We had spareribs, pulled pork and brisket-all excellent choices. Our 2 sides were fried okra and Mac & cheese plus 2 beers. We ate there. It's an excellent BBQ joint type vibe. Plenty of togo orders (large and small) went of the door while we ate also. It's a very efficient operation.I need beer with my BBQ and they did not disappoint me (see photo).

I have actually been looking for a sandwich shop in this area with the gas station/convenience store vibe and I was so delighted to find this place. It is everything you want a sandwich shop to look like. There is a fridge full of different drinks and sides they make fresh, walls of candies and chocolates, and a whole store of items on the other side. You can find all types of unique and international chocolates and they even had a window of baked goods that were actually plush toys. There are multiples lines to jump in and order sandwiches from. You can also build your own sandwich which I did. The staff is nice and it didn't take long for my name to be called. There is no indoor seating but there is plenty of outdoor seating and the area is very cute. I built a nice fat turkey sandwich with jam, cheese, avocado, herb dressing, and more and had it hot on sourdough bread. It was so satisfying. The corn salad was also super refreshing and yummy. I definitely love this place. You can't go wrong.

Came here for a cold brew and croissant. They have a ramp in the back if you need it. The croissant was super flakey and savory and the chocolate was sweet and creamy. Very butter forward. Also plenty of seating.

During a recent conference in Durham, we did a local brewery tour. The stand out brewery for us was Full Steam Brewery. From the outset, we were impressed by the space. Huge, open, and welcoming, there is outdoor seating, covered open air seating, and air conditioned indoor seating. Something for everyone! We also felt welcomed by the LGBTQIA+ flag hanging out front. Thanks for making us feel included! The next best moment was how wonderfully friendly and helpful the bartender was. As a first timer, I had lots of questions and she helped with kindness and positivity. I always appreciate that!My husband and I both got beer flights and the beers were AMAZING! My husband got a flight of IPA's and absolutely loved them! Between the two of our flights I really enjoyed the Westea IPA, the Oops...We HS17701Ed Again, Brumley Forest, Todor Vapor, and Southern Basil. However my favorite was the classic Biscuit Wheat Beer made with local NC ingredients. It was so flavorful and delicious. Yum! We also shared the Queer Beer on tap from Mill Whistle Brewing and thought it was delightfully yummy and Pride festive! We also tried the food and LOVED it. My husband got the Piedmont Chicken sandwich and liked how uniquely flavorful it was. I got the blackened catfish sandwich and found it wonderfully delightful! Bursting with flavor, but not too spicy. And the bread was a perfect baguette. Both sandwiches came with southern seasoned fries and they were literally like drugs they were so deliciously addictive. I could've eaten a whole other basket, even after being full!Prices were excellent, the space was clean, and hours were ideal. If we are ever back in the area, Full Steam will be stop #1 on our list. We tried 7 other breweries and it was definitively our favorite. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by for great beer, delectable food, and a lovely time!

Such a yummy mom & pop sandwich shop! They have a large variety of sandwiches! From paninis to tramezzinis plus they even have different sides you can pair them with! All their ingredients are locally sourced & their delicious soups are house-made. I got the pancetta tramezzini with the homemade chicken orzo soup of the day. It was sooo GOOD! The sandwich had just enough bite and salt from the pancetta, plus the bread was so soft. And the soup... chefs kiss! I would definitely go back there just to have some more soup. My whole meal was only $12, great price if you ask me! As of right now, they are only doing take-out or patio seating. I ordered online and just ate at the tables in front of their store.

I'm not from here, so I've never seen a restaurant with all bar seating, but I loved it! Let's you get more personal with the employees. Who by the way are absolutely fun and great to banter with. Anywho, on to the food!! It was all you can eat crab night but my gf and I were definitely in for the oysters so we got the 3lb plate. It was more than enough! I really wanted to try other things but knew my tummy wouldn't have ever let me. The coleslaw and the potatoes are BOMB! We also got the salted caramel cheesecake to go. Don't sleep on their desserts. I can't wait to come back into town and eat here again!

I thought they were closed during lunchtime as there were no cars parked in front and the windows are tinted so dark I couldn't see inside. I was just going to drive by, but decided to go take a look. Their "open" sign is so far up on the building you have to be a giant to see it!I got a slice and forgot how massive they are!! Should have asked for it to be cut in half cos it's too much to handle. I asked for it to be cooked well done and it was perfect. The only drawback I saw was I passed by at least five tabletops that were dirty when I looked for somewhere to sit. It was surprising cos there was noone there when I arrived and they barely had any customers as I sat and ate. Even more so, the owner didn't even notice it. The young guy at the register was pleasant enough when I mentioned it as I was leaving, but who knows if they got cleaned off or when.

We are familiar with Neomonde, their sister restaurants, but had never tried one of the family's Sassool restaurants. We had an offer from a local discount dining club and decided to go on a Sunday night. We thought it would be slow but this location was pretty busy. Lucky that they know how to serve you quickly. We got the stuffed eggplant special and the pick three combo. Oh my God, the pita bread they gave us was warm and delicious. If we lived closer, we'd definitely come here more often. They are fast casual, and similar to the Neomonde branded restaurants. There are so many options, but you can't really go wrong.

"I just love Johnny's Pizza! They have such delicious pizzas to choose from, great appetizers, and even better desserts!I ordered the Sicilian pizza and added bacon, pepperoni, and Sausage. Such cheesy goodness! The pizza was fully loaded and so good! The perfect deep dish! They have this Nutella dessert that I can't pronounce or spell but they are little bites of heaven! I could eat a million of these things!Johnnys pizza is an absolutely amazing pizza shop!"
"We came here for Mother's Day, got there a little before our reservation time (made on open table) and they were able to go ahead and seat us which was nice. The patio area has a really cute vibe with various types of tables and a bar. I'm one of those that looks up menus before I go to restaurants and I will say the menu had some slight differences in brunch offerings. I do wish that they offered more of a brunch selection but everything we had was good but simple, no frills but reasonably priced. I would love to go back for their burgers because those look amazing! Street Parking"
"It has been a minute since I have visited The Federal. On this most recent visit we dined in before a show. It was a beer and the fish & chips for me and the fish tacos with sweet potato fries for my husband. It is small both inside and out but it is a good dining option in Durham."
"Update to a review I left before: returned to Picnic and had one of the area's best BBQ sandwiches, complete with mac and cheese and hushpuppies, so good they will make your tastebuds sing. Prompt and efficient process to order and receive food. The setting may feel a little stark, given the exposed ceiling and huge chalkboard of drinking options, but where else will you get a brew named Bring Me a Shrubbery? Go there. Eat. Enjoy."
"A late lunch and a very empty stomach, we stumbled upon Mona pita. And got to meet Mona herself, who is absolutely so kind and wonderful. We were not sure what to order, so I asked her for her favorite recommendations. We got to try the lamb platter, and the chicken kebab platter. We also got a side of falafel, and of course for dessert... Baklava. The chicken was juicy and tender and flavorful. It came with a great side of yellow rice, and a Greek style salad. Pita and hummus also! A great value for a nice platter of food. The lamb was very delicious, same sides on that platter as well. The favorite was the Tahina yogurt dip that comes with the falafel. I would highly recommend getting extra cups of that and dipping everything in it! A great find if your belly is empty, and you want some delicious Mediterranean style food."
"Ok, I've visited and had the best pizza in Chicago and I'll definitely say that Acme is spot on in flavor. It's also tame Chicago-style pizza in the sense that it's not as thick and casserole like as I've had-- and I love that for me!Our Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza was fantastic, and I enjoyed the crust as well. Our to-go order for pizza night was perfect!"
"Came in with my son and his family for Sunday lunch. Service was great. Food was fresh and flavorful. They have limited seating so enjoy your dinner and make a place for the next guests, I had a sugar free coffee beverage on the way out, it was delicious"
"We found ourselves here on Father's Day, and although the place was jam packed, the food and service was spot on. The dolls at the hostess stand were personable and professional and the service at the bar was fantastic. (Thank the good Lord for full service at the bar that spared us the 80 minute wait). Our order came out quickly, and we were in and out in no time! The oysters Rockefeller were delicious and the hubby's shrimp basket w/ onion rings was tasty also. We also enjoyed sharing a mimosa flight. I can't wait to return and try more menu items. Cheers!"
"Now the pizza was great but the customer service made the pizza even better! Came in looking for a certain beer to have with my pizza and told myself if they didn't have it I was going to leave. Then I saw someone else's pizza! Took a bite and knew I made the right decision. then a manager came over just to make sure our cups were filled at all times. Nice atmosphere, clean store and the waitress took the time to explain the difference between each and every pizza! Definitely coming back and I recommend you too!!!"
"I used to stop by here a lot when I was local. Then I moved. My wife recently "discovered" this cafe/coffee shop and insisted we stop by. Coffee was very good, service friendly and helpful, and the breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato with a very good aioli was fabulous. See photo. We lucked out that it was Thanksgiving weekend and surprisingly quiet. Very good."
"This food was amazing. It tasted fresh of the grill. The veggies are always fresh. This was so good I will definitely be back more frequently. I've tried the shrimp lettuce wrap but wasnt a fan. The pho was amazing. Loved the takeout packaging. I got a smoothie on a cold rainy day bc I couldnt pass up on a soursop mango, i add mango and boba to it and it was delicious. The service is great and pretty fast."
"I've been looking for a good Banh Mi in the Triangle area and Bonjour Bánh Mi & Tea delivered! They make the bread that they use for their Bánh Mi fresh in the restaurant every day I honestly couldn't decide whether I liked the grilled pork or the bulgogi side better because they were both packed with so much flavor. Julius and I were also huge fans of the combination vermicelli noodle plate! My only regret is not trying any of the Boba or milk tea, but I will absolutely be back soon to check out some of the other menu items and fulfill my Banh Mi cravings.Make sure y'all check them out soon -- the owner is also super nice!"
"I clearly looked overwhelmed as I looked over the menu and when I was asked if I needed help, I told the gent behind the counter that I was on a keto diet so no bread. He offered to put together a prosciutto salad and I jumped on it.Holy smokes, this was excellent. A huge pile of thin sliced meat on to of a spinach salad tossed in a light vinaigrette dressing and mixed with roasted walnuts a bits of goat cheese. It was absolutely delicious and completely keto. Wow.Great service, a great meal, absolutely fabulous.[Review 11667 overall, 1449 of 2019.]"
"Awesome place in Durham. Great place to set outside and enjoy the weather. Food is authentic and great. $3 tacos"
"My friend and I came by for some morning pastries. I ordered the bear claw and my friend got the banana bread. The bear claw was very sweet, flakey, and flavorful! The banana bread was moist and not too sweet. Overall, I would definitely return for more pastries!"
"Pik N Pig has to be one of the best barbq joint in North Cackalacky . I swear to higher ups! Someone told me to come check this place out It's our there in the woods right by the airport To me, being able to enjoy some tasty yummy barbecue brisket, pork chops, smoked chicken and pulled pork while watching the planes take off and land is such a fun and unique experience for people of all ages. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere can't get any better. It was 80 degrees and no clouds. What a day to spent on a Sunday yeah .My favorite was the smoked chicken. I'm sure you guyz will be on your way here.I like it a lot ...I'm sure you'll like it too won't disappoint.j"
"Atmosphere: Bull and Bean is a brunch spot in Durham with a laid-back and relaxed feel. A nice spot to meet up with friends for a casual meal! It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but it may get difficult to find seating during peak brunch hours. Service: We ordered to-go and our food came out relatively quickly. If you're dining in, you order at the counter, and food is brought to your table. Food: We ordered the Grits Bowl with Shrimp and the Cuban Sandwich. We were big fans of the Grits Bowl! It was just cheesy enough and had a great balance of vegetables in addition to the juicy shrimp. The Cuban Sandwich was filling, and the pickles and dijon mustard gave a nice tangy flavor. While the sandwich was a bit salty, it was a solid pick overall. Overall: With great meals both for dine-in and takeout, Bull and Bean is a solid spot for brunch in Durham. We're looking forward to coming back and trying their specials!"
"Lunch after church, nice outing with the family. Even the 8 yr old grandson enjoyed it. He couldn't get enough of the housemade sour dough bread/baguette and dipping oil. Thoroughly enjoyed his angel hair and marinara. He said was the best sweet tea! (Mainly because it was served in a goblet! Lol)Flaming Saginaki was a novelty. I ate most of it, they thought was 'ok'.. doesn't deter me from sharing new foods with them.Daughter enjoyed spaghetti with meat sauce. They're not into lamb so didn't enjoy the gyro.I had the gyro plate, my favorite. Well seasoned potatoes. Server was great, kept drinks refilled and checked on us appropriately."
"Oh gosh, as a native Jersey guy, I want to love this place but I can't do it. I had a full roast beef and turkey combo sandwich. The portion was quite big, about 3/4 pound of meat, just as it should be. The meat was pretty thick cut as well. But the roast beef disappointed me. I expected roast beef around medium rare, but it would up being served hot and cooked all the way through. Just not what I had in mind. Turkey was fine, poppy kaiser roll was nice and fresh.Megan was a really sweet server, a little shy, but I can tell she cares that the customers are happy. Ron, the owner, interacted with some of the regular customers at the bar, which is a sign of a good owner. The staff is why I'll go to the 4th star.I like that you can grab a bag of Deep River chips and a cold Dr Browns soda right off the shelf. Also, they have a nice bar with a reasonably good selection of drafts. I'm sure I'll come back and try the pastrami or corned beef, but the roast beef will be a pass."
"This place is not what you would expect from Sanford. We moved here from MPLS where there is so many different restaurants on every corner. I admit we are missing that aspect of our new city. So someone recommended La Dolce and I'm so glad they did. They had great pizza! The vibe is laid back and you don't feel like you are in Sanford. I wish they had a house salad rather then the specialty salads as nothing is better then a plain salad with pasta. M"
"We finally got to check out Nosh! It had been closed during Covid and have opened back up. They don't have their full menu yet, but what they do offer, they do very well. The biscuits are large and very tasty. They even make their own pickles, with is impressive. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
"I like Danny's for a quick BBQ lunch option. On this visit I ordered the small sausage plate with house potato salad (sour cream based), green beans and applesauce. All plates come in a small or large size with two sides and a piece of texas toast. The sausage was so juicy and tender and the sides were good."
"Excellent authentic deli. From the meats to the sides, this place packs a punch.A few things to know:1. It is near UNC campus so the roadway is busy with limited parking.2. You order outside and no indoor seating. The staff is super nice and the food is incredibly satisfying!!! A+++ on the pastrami"
