"Excellent pastries very friendly service Try something new!! Delicious treats for your family"
"We have traveled the east coast trying different FroYo's along the way. We feel like this is one of the best ones! The yogurt is creamy and the flavors are diverse. They have over 50 toppings, including fresh cut fruit. They also have some experimental toppings like homemade marshmallows (who knew you could make them at home), along with 4 mason jars of other toppings like peppermint. They also have bubble tea and hot chocolate. You can get the bubble tea as a smoothie. (I must confess, I still am not sure what bubble tea is...but they have it...and people seem to like it.) For their hot chocolate, they have 3 types of marshmallow topping...regular, toasted and scorched. The ambiance is very clean and peaceful. They charge $.45 per ounce. Don't forget to get a punch card. After 8 yogurts, you get one free (up to $6). Citizen Yogurt is not a chain/franchise. If you have to choose, please choose to shop locally."

"Absolutely delicious and gorgeous macarons! My girlfriend brought me back a dozen of these sweet beauties and I was completely blown away. Their selection was extremely impressive and I enjoyed every single one. The flavors I sampled were; pistachio, tiramisu, wedding cake, coconut, vanilla, s'mores, strawberry shortcake, peach mango, Nutella, Ferraro Rocher, lemon lavender and cherry chocolate truffle. I loved them all with the lemon lavender, peach mango and pistachio being my favorites. We're both very appreciative of the love & care that go into making a perfect macaron and have only found superior ones in Charlotte and Atlanta. Now we have a place in Raleigh to grab some when we're in that area! Thank you, Mon Macaron for a truly wonderful and tasty experience; we'll be back as soon as we can!"
"Stop in for lunch at 11:30 on a Saturday. Note that there was a posting that prices had just gone up due to increasing cost.I posted photos of the menu so you can see.Honestly, my expectations were low, and they well over delivered with a delicious lunch. The hush puppies were perhaps the best that I've ever eaten. The Eastern Carolina style barbecue was moist, flavorful, accompanied by green beans, and a good tasting potato sala. The fried flounder was cooked nicely. The staff was incredibly friendly. My experience was excellent, and the food was fresh, tasty, and hot. The total price for 2 lunches with 2 drinks and a tip was $31. I look forward to going back when I am more hungry so I can try to get to dessert."
"Oh Serg Serg Serg! You naughty, naughty Frenchman! How dare you serve such delightful food? I mean my first visit here, and imagine my surprise when I saw the French side of Tapas! Those escargot?! Ooo lala! My first visit here and we sampled a little bit of everything, but the prize goes to those gnocchi. Pillowy, light, drenched in buttery and cheesy sauce! Service? I M P E C C A B L E! Food? Tight, small, flawless menu! Forewarned I will return when I'm back visiting the area again! This is my warning!"
"Cute bakery located in the heart of downtown Pittsboro. They have lots of cute holiday goodies including a grinch sugar cookies, gingerbread cookie, chocolate bombs, and hot drinks. Staff is really sweet."
"I am still very new to North Carolina and was in search of a bakery in the Snow Hill area. Low and behold on the outskirts of the country ! The Farmer and The Dail came highly recommended for their delicious baked goods and southern breakfast. My family lives in the area and gave the 2 thumbs up. I placed an online order for a birthday cake to celebrate my mom's 70th. We visited today after noon and jumped in line to place our brunch order and pick up the cake. We decided on the FATD breakfast bowl that comes with hash browns, a biscuit, grits and bacon. I have been wanting to try their famous biscuit bombs. I decided on the bacon bomb. I have never had a biscuit so pillowy soft and delicious! This place is perfection ! My mom's birthday cake was also equally as delicious. She enjoyed how light and airy the cake was, how decadent the frosting was. How beautifully decorated ! We will be regulars here when in the area visiting loved ones. Thank you for making a memorable birthday by putting love in your recipes."
"Pik N Pig has to be one of the best barbq joint in North Cackalacky . I swear to higher ups! Someone told me to come check this place out It's our there in the woods right by the airport To me, being able to enjoy some tasty yummy barbecue brisket, pork chops, smoked chicken and pulled pork while watching the planes take off and land is such a fun and unique experience for people of all ages. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere can't get any better. It was 80 degrees and no clouds. What a day to spent on a Sunday yeah .My favorite was the smoked chicken. I'm sure you guyz will be on your way here.I like it a lot ...I'm sure you'll like it too won't disappoint.j"
"Everything was superb from food to drink. There was a lot of food for 3 of us. The waiter was nice and gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time there. I forgot to take pictures of the dessert. It was so so so good. It's like milk/cheese balls served in kind of milky sauce. It was comforting to cool down all the spiciness. It was not crowded during lunch."
"Food Truck Time: The Cookie People at Cary's Downtown ChowdownThe variety of cookies that this food truck offered was a good selection. I tried the butterscotch caramel and it was just okay, I would pick a different one next time. You can order 1 cookie for $2.50 or 5 for $10. I was not impressed with the service, the people working the truck were not very friendly or welcoming."
"We came here for lunch and proceeded right away on the patio. Service was very attentive and friendly. The green tea was authentic and full of flavor. Lots of veggies in the noodle soup but could've been warmer. They have spice levels from one to six."
"I've been here a few times and really love everything about this place. I brought a friend who was visiting and she got a peach drink that she loved. We shared the churro caramel and chocolate doughnuts. I didn't care for the caramel flavor but the dark chocolate was delicious. You place your own order at a kiosk and they assemble then call your name. Really easy. The bathrooms are very clean as is the store. I just love this place and highly recommend it. We didn't get the Korean dogs today but I've had them and love them also!"

This review is for Citizen Pops. I cannot attest to the yogurt or bubble tea. This past Friday, the owner of Citizen Pops was stationed with his cart outside of Feel Goodz for First Friday. He was giving out samples of his pops! I tried the Mango Ginger.Delicious! The owner explained that he makes the pops out of fruit, and not juice. This is an important difference because juice freezes differently and tastes more watery. I could even see little fibers of the ginger root in my pop. Very flavorful. The pops are a healthy snack! They are vegan friendly and gluten free. The owner was a great conversationalist! He was very knowledgable and passionate about his product. I definitely support that!I am excited to see the Citizen Pops cart out at the Food Truck Rodeos this Spring/Summer in Downtown Raleigh! I would love to try Citizen Yogurt too. I have never had bubble tea! Sounds like a bucket list item that I need to check off :)

Mon Macaron is a really nice macaron store in Seaboard Station. The offer a large assortment of flavors and there is one for everyone. You can get some coffee with your purchase which is a nice plus. The ones we tried, Lemon, PBJ and Red Velvet were all delicious! Definitely check them out when it that area of downtown Raleigh.

My second visit, actually... I thought I had done a review previously but didn't. My friend picked Bodega to celebrate her girls bday dinner. I love the dim lighting and rustic yet elegant decor of the old building. Our waitress was so cute and very attentive. I believe we ordered almost everything on the menu. The cheese board is delicious, but not enough for 3 people. The escargot was good in the garlic butter and the arancini is always a favorite as they change the sauce depending on the season. You get one beef empanada, which is large enough for 2 and the goat cheese was so creamy. The shrimp was very flavorful and enogh for 2, but I could have eaten it all. The foie gras was interesting. I wasn't expecting it to be served a little cool and then the caramelized crispy top added the sweet. It was good and the lamb meatballs did not disappoint. The crispy potatoes and broccoli were our favorite for the night. The spicy sauce on the broccoli was amazing and the dish had an amazing flavor combo. To top it off, we finished with a delectable Mousse au Chocolat. Experience was as good the second time as the first.

Last week marked my inaugural experience with Farmer and The Dail, and I opted for a convenient takeout order. Abby guided me through the process, showcasing excellent service from start to finish. For my lunch selection, I settled on the FATD Breakfast Bowl sans bacon, accompanied by an upgrade to Turkey Sausage for just an additional dollar. To complement my meal, I added a side of Hashbrown Casserole, a decision I did not regret. The Hashbrown Casserole surpassed my expectations with its delightful flavour and impeccably balanced seasoning. However, my excitement waned when I delved into the main attraction.Disappointingly, the FATD Breakfast Bowl was drenched in oil, rendering it less palatable. Despite its enticing components--grits, cheddar cheese, fried hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and a mini cheddar biscuit--the excessive oiliness overshadowed its potential.Regrettably, I found myself unable to fully enjoy the dish and felt a pang of guilt for not finishing it. While I hesitate to dampen others' enthusiasm for Southern cuisine, particularly the famed FATD Breakfast Bowl, it simply didn't align with my tastes. For future visits, I intend to opt for simpler fare to avoid a repeat of this experience.

Delicious! You pull up to an older airport, and this amazing little restaurant is just waiting to welcome you!We sat outside and they had heaters outside which was heavenly because it was cold and rainy outside the day we visited. Our waitress was fantastic and on top of our party of 13. Our drinks never ran out, she made sure we had everything we needed while we were sitting there. I ordered a classic bbq sandwich, and it was incredible. Cooked to perfection, the meat was so tender. French fries were a nice and crispy side to the bbq sandwich. I ordered a banana pudding to finish off my meal and wasn't disappointed. The banana pudding was flavorful and well balanced. A wonderful experience that is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for some good bbq!

"Food was fresh Greeted with a smile. Excellent service The place was very clean. I highly recommend"
"El Cantarito Bar & Grill is a new Mexican spot that has opened up in Downtown Fuquay. My mom and I dined in for lunch and had a good experience. I started off with a beer then a margarita. We split the queso then I ordered the lunch chicken chimichanga. The food, drinks and service were all good."
"I've eaten here a handful of times and am always pleasantly pleased when I get the total at how affordable it is. My favorite dish is the veggie sinchronizada which really just seems like a quesadilla to me but it's so delicious. Their queso is delicious and I love hedonistically pouring it over my dish. It comes with a separate dish of rice, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado and sour cream on the side for toppings. All this for $10 (queso is extra). I've tried the veggie burrito and it was fine but I would have preferred a regular tortilla instead of wheat. Just because I prefer to eat primarily plant based doesn't mean I want a "healthier" version and wheat tortillas are always so tough. I'd get my again if I could switch the tortilla out next time. I would also love some vegetarian enchiladas on the menu too. The chips and salsa are perfectly respectable as well. Would recommend for sure."
"Sodabox is a neat concept. I do not drink soda often but if I do it is either a Sprite or Coca-Cola. I liked that they had an XS size option available so I could try two. I chose the pretty & pink and red pill both with sprite. My favorite was the pretty & pink. They have some interesting mixes or you can make a custom mix, if you like soda then check this spot out."
"The ice cream is incredible. The creme brulee ice cream gimmick is what I came for but the manager came out and bruleed it without notifying me and I was quite disheartened not to have gotten to see the show lol. But all in all, the ice cream comes pre packaged from their facility so it's not customizable, but vanilla bean is visible in it and the combo was incredible. $6. The cake batter, rose pistachio and ube were also fantastic. Rich, creamy, flavorful, and unique. I'd recommend this spot for sure! I was just a little emotional driving 26 min to see my ice cream get brulee'd without me. :("
"By far, the best authentic Mexican food I've had in a very long time. Our server was so friendly & was always one step ahead of us for refills on drinks, chips, salsa, etc. The artwork on all of the tables and booths was stunning. We will absolutely be back."
"I've been here in person & I've gotten a few deliveries. I think I need an intervention at this point because I'm ADDICTED. I LOVE cinnamon roll most of all. We've gotten a lot of their flavors. I can't complain at all. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. I love the self-service kiosks and going to pick up my order greeted by smiling faces. I can't recommend this place enough!! The cookies are dense and chewy. The icing is delicious. I think you should try it if you've never been here. Crumbl is BOMB!"
"Quite possibly the best bagels in the Durham area!! My boyfriend and I grabbed breakfast sandwiches this morning (he got the sausage egg & cheese and I got the bacon egg & cheese). They were both chewy, flavorful, and filling. Since Isaac's is to-go only, we ordered using the mobile system. The process was pretty straightforward. They make your coffee when you come to pick up your order, which is nice-- nobody likes lukewarm or watered-down drinks. I will definitely be back soon to try some of their cream cheeses!!"
"I rarely walk away loving every single item, but that was the case here. I can't believe I've lived here my entire life and never visited before now. The meatloaf was very unique and not ketchup based (as far as I could tell). It was a large, dense loaf, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The potatoes were great, especially when paired with the meatloaf. And the beans were well seasoned! The chicken noodle soup was an unexpected delight. It was extremely flavorful and filled with chunks of meat and veggies. You can tell a lot of love went into the recipe. I only had a bite or two of the chicken pot pie, but there was no question it was perfect. My wife loved every bite. She could only eat half because it was huge!If you want cake on the weekend, you should reserve ahead of time. They were running out very quickly. If you want a seat, I also recommend reserving well ahead of time. We will be back!"
"I could have sworn I've written a Yelp review for Little Barb's before but maybe I haven't. At various times when we've popped into the Durham Food Hall, we've stopped here and gotten zucchini bread, cake slices, poptarts, cinnamon rolls and more. We enjoy supporting local businesses in Durham and have enjoyed the wares here. We've also seen their treats around town at other places like the Daily Beer Bar (monthly cake and beer pairing is wonderful). I saw someone else posted that the cake prices were high. They might be but the cake slices we've had were rich and delicious. We've also seen the owner at other events around town -- great to see that she supports other local businesses. We'll be back."
"DO NOT buy from this crumbl. I was in the area and ordered a 4 pack of cookies online. I arrive at my allotted pickup time and there's a note on the door saying they're closed for an hour and the door is locked. The employee inside avoided eye contact. I come back after waiting for an hour and the store is closed fully and the note is taken down. They took my online order and my money and I didn't receive an email. Terrible service, rude customers, will never order from here again and will tell all my friends to never order here as well."
"Went here for dessert. I was too full, but wanted to try this place. They are nationally known. There was so many flavors! I was in heaven and everything I sampled was good! I decided to get the Rose Pistachio and it was delicious!!! There was a long line but it went by fast. There were seating inside and outside. Also you are able to take a pint of the ice cream, some come prepared with a cooler and ice!! So if you're in the area, stop by and give it a try!!!!!"
"If I could give this 10 stars I would.Hands down, the BEST, macrons we have ever had!We got a 12 pack of macarons because it was so hard to decide. We went with (left to right): s'mores, champagne pop!, salted caramel, red velvet, birthday cake, tiramisu, strawberries and cream, raspberry, lavender, strawberries and cream, dark cherry cheesecake and lemon.Honestly, it is so hard to describe how good these are other than they aren't like the slightly crunchy ones we have gotten at other macaron shops. They are like biting into little clouds of paradise. So light, so full of flavor and not overly sweet. Pure perfection!Let's just say that they are so good, we have no shame in driving from Fuquay Varina to get some. lol"
"Now the pizza was great but the customer service made the pizza even better! Came in looking for a certain beer to have with my pizza and told myself if they didn't have it I was going to leave. Then I saw someone else's pizza! Took a bite and knew I made the right decision. then a manager came over just to make sure our cups were filled at all times. Nice atmosphere, clean store and the waitress took the time to explain the difference between each and every pizza! Definitely coming back and I recommend you too!!!"
"I'm not sure where to start. I've heard about this place and when I first saw the prices I was quite taken aback. But I was assured these cookies" were not your everyday cookie. First off, the CC changes flavors weekly so there's never room for complacency with flavors. Secondly, let's talk flavors this week: sea salt toffee, peanut butter brittle, molten lava, pecan pie, orange roll and classic pink. These cookies are extra large and loaded with taste and pure goodness. Every bite melts in your mouth. I tried the peanut butter brittle today and have lost my mind. I get it. I'm sold. I will be back. The cookies are pricey but WELL worth it. They also sell ice cream."
"I've been to The Pickled Onion twice now and I'm a fan. I'm pretty picky about pub fare but there are a few things why I rated them at 5 stars instead of 4 (it was a toss up but I'll explain). The Pickled Onion can get very busy so it's best to come when the crowd has left, because that's when you get top notch service. You seat yourself and at one of the booths or tall tables. It's very open and feels more like a sports bar than a pub. Tables are always clean and the menus are wiped between customers. The menu is small but mighty. My go-to are the Blue Chips to start. I've ordered the Pork Belly Smack which was phenomenal and this past visit, I ordered the Shrimp Platter and exchanged the fries for mashed potatoes and gravy. And let me say, those mashed potatoes were real! Some places use the powdered stuff but this was the real deal. Besides the Blue Chips being a favorite of mine, I have to say that The Pickled Onion has THE BEST coleslaw I have ever had!! This last visit, our waitress did something that immediately made this original 4 star review into a 5 (and if you read my reviews, you know what she did...). She gave me another soda cup before I finished my first! Right there, that earns 5 stars! Having excellent customer service, delicious Blue Chips, AND the best coleslaw? It's a no brainer that I'll be back!"
"We made plans to go see an earlier movie and then decided to go later. After that decision we were hungry and wanted dinner. I remembered the revamp of Palace Point, and now there was an actual restaurant. The croissants were a pleasant surprise and totally amazing! Everything we got was delicious! We got the Blazin' Chicken sandwich, Strawberry salad, and Nachos at our table. Noting the nachos had bacon, which sets them apart from most nachos. The Mac and Cheese is more of a white Cheddar and is creamy deliciousness. Salad was a good-sized portion. Our server was fairly new, but she was very attentive and took good care of us. Love the castle like dark with dim sparking light ambiance. Highly recommend for a quick bite before a movie, skating or bowling."
"Lovely Indian restaurant. The place is spacious, casual yet comfortable. The service was excellent and very fast. The food was amazing. You have an option of mild,Medium, hot or very hot- choose wisely. The mild is still a little spicy!Every item was delicious. We had chicken 65- mild, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and mutter paneer. The entrees come with rice. We ordered naan too. The masala chai was small, but tasty! And enough to to fill your tastebuds.A definite must for Indian food in Cary"
"If you are NOT in the local area and want some of their coffee, I would encourage you to order on-line through their web site.I'm hooked on the Ethiopia beans and you can order with the option of having shipping charges waved PLUS, they grind the beans for you!How sweet is that?"
"I tried Pickled Onion again and enjoy their menu offerings. Really unique tasty spins on bar eats. Most recently I tried the Crack Fire. A blend of their crack dip ( buffalo chicken dip) spread on fresh whole Jalapeños wrapped in bacon. Those doing Keto, get it ! These were awesome. So tasty. My daughter had a meatball sub sandwich with onion rings. The meatballs on this sun were notorious B.I.G huge ! Really tasty and good price for the quality and portion. I'll come by for the drinks at the bar next time. My fitness instructor loves coming here but unfortunately it's located too close to our fitness studio. I'll have to quickly get in my car once out of my class to avoid packing on the weight eating here lol."
"This is the the most addictive product with genius marketing found in the RDU area. The product is warm, delicious, HUGE cookies. The genius is being open till midnight. This place is hopping and they actually staff enough people to keep the cookies moving out the door. Ordering is done on an iPad and the transactions are cashless. They will call your number and you see the cookies before they hand you the box. I will warn you now, THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES ARE LIFE . They also sell milk or ice cream to complete the perfect cookie. You have the munchies?....they got you!"
"If you are craving cheesecake, you need to order from here. There's a deal now where if you order from now until may 24th you get entered to win a free cheesecake! He's got a website https://apex-cheesecakes.com/ but I also follow his fb and ig pages to keep up with the cheesecakes! He also makes egg-less ones for people with allergies! Support small businesses!"
"Tucked away on West Hargett Street in the heart of Raleigh, Death and Taxes not only serves a name that catches your attention but dishes that will capture your heart. Celebrating a special birthday over the weekend, my wife and I were treated to an exquisite culinary experience. I savored the confit of pork shoulder, perfectly paired with grilled delicata squash and a tangy pomegranate-juniper jus, while the side of grilled NC asparagus with whipped hollandaise and crispy prosciutto danced on the palate. My wife was equally enamored with her dish of scallops, beautifully complemented by smoked cannellini beans, charred tomatoes, and leeks. What truly elevates the dining experience at Death and Taxes is their mastery of wood-fired cooking. Each dish benefits from the smoky kiss of the grill, adding a layer of flavor that's both rustic and refined. However, no review of Death and Taxes would be complete without a standing ovation for Paige, our server. Her vibrant energy, deep knowledge, and genuine interest in our experience made our evening not just a meal, but a memorable celebration. For anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience in Raleigh, make your way to Death and Taxes. It's more than a meal; it's an event worth every penny."
