"We were down visiting Camp Durant with the scouts and had dinner on our own.. so we packed up the car and decided on trying to something local versus the same old fast food chains and I would day, I was pleasantly surprised how good this food was.First, the place looks not very inviting, but the 2 ladies working the front were super friendly and super busy.We just ordered pizza and the boys wanted fries with their pizza. And it was very good. Being from the Raleigh area, I am tired of the pizza disappointment and was glad to find good pizza. Unfortunately it's 90 minutes from us, but it will be our go to place from now on when we're camping or visiting camp Durant.Great Job!"
"We couldn't have had a better Saturday night experience/meal here. Service and food were absolutely terrific. The freshly baked complimentary rolls are destination worthy alone, but add in some perfectly cooked pasta and we were happy as could be! Husband had good old spaghetti and meatballs and was given a choice between smooth or chunky marinara. He chose chunky and loved it. I tried their Penne Bella Italia and have to say it's a WOW dish. Chicken, Shrimp, Fresh Mozzarella & Spinach in a pink sauce. What really made the chicken in the dish was the seasoning, a nice touch of rosemary. Yum!Both of our pastas came with a simple salad. Blue Cheese for him, and Balsamic for me. Nice light way to start the meal, along with those fabulous rolls.Loved our friendly delightful Server as well. It was such a good experience, we left wondering why it had been so long since we'd been."

"Translated in Spanish, pico de gallo literally means "beak of rooster." Some believe this is because it was originally eaten by pinching between the thumb and finger, making the shape of a rooster's beak. Pico de gallo, however, has nothing to do with roosters, or birds in general. Pico de gallo is a salsa popular with Mexican food, like tacos, nachos, or quesadillas and has nothing to do with Pizza!!!So, to put it simply, this "so called" pizzeria is anything but a pizzeria. It's nothing more than an old convenience store selling the same mediocre "99 Cent" pizza you can find spread the 5 Burroughs of NYC. Cheers!"
"I'm not a big pizza aficionado but I love Enzos pizza! They have a lot of options, including custom build your own options as well. The crust was doughy but light and not too chewy. The service time was extremely speedy (we went for lunch). While most people order take out, the ambiance still has a more refined atmosphere- not your typical run of the mill Italian dive. Would recommend for a slightly classier pizza option in Durham!"
"To be honest this isn't my first time in this restaurant but at time I was just so hungry I didn't bother to record my dining experience at this establishment. But now that's it's my second time I'm able to give it a little more thought.During our first foray into this restaurant we ordered the calamari, the spaghetti with meatballs, tiramisu and cannoli. The calamari was great (A), the spaghetti was an A as well. The tiramisu and cannoli were fantastic! Second visit we tried to mix it up. We had the NYC pizza and we chose additional toppings and the tiramisu to share. Pizza was really good. Just as good as Johnny's but with a thinner crust. Well prepared. I give it an A. The tiramisu gets an A just as the last time.Parking is ample and the ambiance feels like a typical pizza tavern. Unpretentious and straightforward. Just the way I like it. I recommend this joint if you get a hankering for good Italian fare."
"I discovered Pie Pushers a few months back on the Durham Food Tour. The experience was great then so it has been on my list to return. So it was the perfect spot to dine before seeing 1776 at DPAC.Pie Pushers is on the second story and stairs are the only way to reach the restaurant so the venue might not be accessible to everyone. I liked the decor and there is a Where's Waldo figurine too. So try to find it when you are there. The staff is very friendly and helpful here. They have actual menus and a big menu on the wall behind the cash register. You can order just a slice; a half pie or a full pie. Gluten free is an option for the crust. You can create your own pizza from the toppings or choose from the specialty pizzas. Besides pizza, you can get sandwiches, salads and wings.Ordering is done at the counter and they give you a number and will bring your order to the table.I ordered the Spinach and Ricotta half of a pie pie so that was four slices of a normal pizza. I didn't think I could eat it all but it was just so good that I ate all four slices and enjoyed every bite. The pizza was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of each topping.I also saw that on Fridays and Saturdays they had strawberry shortcake so I just had to try that too. It was bigger than I expected with two warm biscuits, strawberries and whipped cream. I think it was homemade whipped cream as it was delicious and I don't normally like whipped cream. I couldn't finish the dessert but really enjoyed the strawberries and whipped cream.I will definitely be back to try some of the other pizzas and items on the menu."
"I had a pasta a la Maria & my partner had the salmon a la Rosa one. Mines had scallops shrimp and crab meat on top. It was a vodka sauce and delicious. We both loved ours. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We still think about this place often (we're from out of town)"
"Overall a good experience dining here. Staff were attentive and the gluten free pizza crust is really good, taste like a regular thin crust pizza. For $1.50 a topping I would've liked to seen better portions on the pizza. They are also have gluten friendly beer. Nice variety of food on the menu including sushi, salads, wraps, burgers, wings, and pasta."
"Saw Sal's when going to my doctor. Looked them up online to see what things they had on the menu. The Caprese pizza caught my eye. I asked for extra cheese and got it! The ingredients are very fresh and you can taste the goodness. The crust is very good... I don't normally eat crust, but I did on this pizza. It's a little more expensive than I would normally pay, but once in a while for a good pizza, I will splurge. The inside is small, but there are several booths if you want to eat inside. There is also outside seating. The service was good and it didn't take long for my order to be ready."
"We continue to always have good food from this location. If I'm craving wings, nothing is better than the grilled barbalo wings. They are always perfect. Husband enjoys their sandwiches and pizza, but this time he decided to try their boneless wings with habanero lime and loved it. We also shared the jalapeno poppers which are excellent.Take out service is fast & friendly during these covid times. They also have a lot of room inside to space folks out. You can order online via different services, but I prefer to call and make sure our dollars are going straight to them. Was just saying to Husband this weekend that I don't believe we've ever had anything from here that we didn't like and he agreed."
"Love this place! This is the old Golden Corral off of hwy 42 near Panera. Made an online reservation for 9, checked in when we got there and that was so simple. The restaurant is large and cozy feeling. Al was our server and he was very helpful and interactive. The menu is large but not overwhelming. All of the food was delicious but honestly my son's kids meal pizza was my favorite of the night! I can't wait to go back and order a pizza for myself. The cheese was melted perfectly and crust not too thick or thin and crispy. Prices are on the higher end for me but the food is good so definitely worth the treat! Definitely recommend"
"Great local pizza spot that also has other items. The pepperoni is pretty good, and the penne vodka is awesome. Also tried some garlic knots, which were solid but could have been more garlicky."

When I was a child, I hated pizza. It wasn't until I was 12 and had Steve's cheese pizza that I changed my mind. Which in turn changed the entire trajectory of my life. I owe everything I am now to Steve and his Pizza. Thank you, Steve. Also the wings are pretty dang good and so are the subs, can't really go wrong here. I love you, Steve.

I've been craving a good Fettuccini Alfredo and was thrilled when I saw that they delivered via Postmates all the way to us! I know this place has been around for YEARS, as it's located near where I used to live. I am glad I didn't go by some of the reviews, because my experience was great! Four stars because well, I've been to Italy. I ordered a small house salad, Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, and a slice of Sicilian cheese pizza. The salad was fresh and they added shredded cheese per the request in my notes. I took a bite of the pizza and this was really good, although could have used a bit more sauce. The pasta was the winner! Fresh, flavorful, and creamy but not too rich. This definitely satisfied my craving for Fettuccini Alfredo! The portion was generous and it's less than $15 for the dish. Surprisingly, it didn't even have to be reheated upon arrival, as it was still hot. I will definitely order from this spot again and highly recommend it for a tasty Italian spot.

We ordered here on a whim after a long day and we really enjoyed it! The title can be slightly confusing, being italian food with a more spanish name, but the pizza was pretty good, with a good tasting crust and sauce, and a fair amount of pepperoni. We also ordered wings, which were meaty and sauced well, and a regular salad, which was fair for the price, though id have liked to see some olives or a cucumber slice. All in all, I would for sure order again. Its probably the best tasting pizza currently without having to go to knightdale or Raleigh.

We really love Enzo's pizza. They have tons of great toppings and you can make your own personal pizza if you want. The honey on top is soo good! Might sound a little weird but it tastes great. Also I like that when I ask for extra sauce they really listen and put a ton of sauce.

As usual this place is awesome! Recently moved to Texas and can't find anything like it! It is so good and authentic. The manager waited on us and he was very friendly. It's a must try if you are in the area.

Decided to check out pie pushers after passing them a few times over the yearish that I've been here. What I noticed first was the awesome way that you walk in. There's a door on the side of another storefront that you think leads into that store, but actually, it leads to a staircase that takes you up to Pie Pushers. I am a sucker for a cute hidden spot! Next, I noticed the great customer service. Everyone was so nice and all smiles. They answered all of our questions and were so accommodating. My friend ended up getting a slice of the Sicilian and their cheese fries. And I got their salad and a slice of pepperoni and Sicilian. Honestly I wasn't a super fan of the pizza. However, their salad and fries were amazing! Instead of getting their "normal" cheese fries my friend got their fries with green onions, cheddar cheese, and goat cheese. Everything came together so well and the fries were super crispy!! Wow! And the Caesar salad was obviously house made with super creamy dressing and crunchy lettuce and croutons. I had to stop myself from finishing it before the pizza came! These two items shined way above their pizza and I would so come back for these. The pizza lacked a lot of flavor and the Sicilian had way too much bread for me. It was literally a thin layer of cheese and sauce and then a thick TX toast size of bread. It wasn't my jam, unfortunately. I would come back for the sides and the service!

I've written reviews for Ruckus in the past (both dining in and take out). The last time I got takeout the wrap was a little baggy but this go around...perfection! I ordered a wedge salad (added onion, subbed blue cheese for ranch) with a side of tenders. The salad was fresh and crisp and the tenders were perfectly fried and the chicken tenders were, well, tender! And a great portion for the price!! I also ordered the steak quesadillas for my son who is very particular about his quesadillas. They needed no add-ins or substitutions. They were perfectly stuffed and grilled crisp to perfection. Ruckus has definitely become our go-to on Uber Eats!

"Food was surprisingly good don't judge a book by its cover! I ordered a pie to go then the wife decided she wanted to go inside and eat. She ordered the lasagna and it was very very tasty only critiques was 2 things--Too much oregano and wayyy too much sauce but everything else the texture and flavor was on point! Pizza too was very tasty and good quality cheese not stingy and very tasty also. Service was amazing very attentive and attention to detail. The ambiance was good nice music in the background not to loud just right and customers looked content and happy! We'll be back"
"GARLIC KNOTS.I shouldn't have to say anything more, but I will. These are the best garlic knots I've ever had and it is not even close. Most knots look like crescent rolls topped with chopped garlic, parm, and fresh parsley. These looked almost like rice balls, as if they were deep fried. And they were swimming in a heavenly bath of olive oil, garlic, and parm. If that's not enough, we got 5 of them for a little over six bucks! Absolute steal. I lived in Chicago for 20 years so I've had my share of deep dish pizza. I even worked at a famous deep dish place for a time. I won't mention the name, I'll just tell you it was not in the west...anyway, I ordered a medium meathead pizza, which was about 12 inches, cut into 8 slices, so these weren't big. I think I might have cut it into 6, but it worked out for the best. It did take about 40 or so minutes to come out, which they explain on the menu.Very good quality meats: sliced sausage, thick chopped bacon, some pepperoni and beef as well. Sauce was pretty good. As for the crust it held up very well, it did not fall apart, which is so important. The flavor of the crust was not the best I've ever had, but I added some of the oil and garlic from the knots and that helped! Very friendly server who was moving fast to keep customers happy, which I certainly appreciate. I don't usually have a craving for deep dish at this point, but this is a place I'll certainly return to at some point."
"Calzone is packed with flavors of savory ingredients within delicious crust baked to perfection. Also, don't forget the marinara. The Italian style cheese steak is amazingly more delicious than anything around here on fresh baked bread, and don't forget the marinara dipping sauce.Crispy potato French fries are the perfect side dish. For dessert, you may like the creamy cheese cake.5 Star, Award winning, Salvio's delivers deliciousness every day!Highly recommend! You must try it!"
"Great tasting pizza. Worth the wait, as they make a fresh pizzaZ Service was great! Always left satisfied"
"The BEST pizza in the Clayton area. Venero's not only offers the best pizza in Clayton NC, they have a menu filled with all the true Italian entrees not found anywhere else. You not only get it your way, every entree is prepared with the highest quality ingredients. I don't have an over complicated palate, but I know mediocre when I see and taste it and refuse to entertain mediocre. I return to Venero's weekly because it's top shelf, personalized dining. On top of all that you are treated like family and family always comes first! You deserve the best Clayton has to offer for Italian dining, let Venero's give you what you deserve Cheers!"
"We have only done pick up but looks like a cozy place to eat. The service is prompt and the staff are really helpful! The crust is my favorite pizza crust I've tried in the triangle area so far"
"Take-out at HG is easy and when we called to ask about curbside pickup, the employee quickly offered to bring our order out to us. We were able to pay over the phone curbside and someone came out for a signature and she was wearing a mask.I wasn't thrilled to find out at pickup that the potato salad I ordered was not available but they were able to add pasta salad while we waited. Not a big deal, I realize restaurants are getting back into the swing of things under a different landscape right now. The pasta salad was delicious and it was a generous serving. The avocado wrap was delicious and included the tomato basil wrap that I requested. We have been looking for a good takeout place to replace some of the restaurants we enjoyed before the pandemic and HG is looking like a good option for us. Rock on, HG."
"Annie our server was the BEST! I came here tonight with my sister, 2 adult nephews, and my brother in law. Annie suggested items to us as we were taking forever to figure out what we wanted. We ordered fried calamari and fried mozzarella to start with. She came right out with appetizer plates and fresh hot bread. We finally figured out what we wanted and we were all pleased with our choices. The eggplant rollatini I had was so big I only ate one roll out of the three. We were all pleasantly surprised that a sald came with each dinner as a lot of places have done away with that. My brother in law had the chicken sorrentino and he was surprised at the size of his dish as well.he has lived here for years and never been here and will definitely be his new hang out."
"Food Truck Tuesday: Pie PushersI was able to grab a slice of pie, a garlic knot and a side salad (dressing - bleu cheese) for a lunch under $10! For my slice of pizza I went with the Barb's Margherita, I enjoyed the fresh tomato and pesto. I have had better Margherita pizza which is what I was comparing it to and the main reason behind the 3 star review. As far as the dressing went, it was a bit runny which I did not like. Overall, a good food truck to enjoy lunch at a reasonable price."
"Really enjoyed Anna's Pizzeria. Right on the Apex strip, this small pizzeria has all your favorite Italian dishes, salads, and wines. Further, Anna's perfectly reflects their price point and wants to provide you with a reasonable dinner option on the (often overpriced) main street. The calzone is a solid choice. We ordered our calzone with "double pepp", the house cab, slice, and a caprese salad. We enjoyed sitting at the bar near the front window, watching sports, and chatting with the staff. Service was friendly and offered suggestions as certain items were 86'ed."
"We almost didn't stop by because their YELP listing said they were about to close. I am so glad that we did a u-turn and decided to stop. It was a Wed at around 1:30.We took advantage of the Wed lunch special. We each had a small size signature pizza and a salad. It also includes a drink but we each had a beer so that didn't count.Waitstaff was super friendly and helpful. Couldn't of ask for anything more. The food was top notch. We will be stopping by again soon. Give them a try. You will be glad you did !!"
"Met hometown friends for lunch here and it was great; fast and pleasant service ; nice lunch choices; terrific food. We had two salads & two pasta dishes..all very good and very reasonable prices make this a hit."
"Tazza Kitchen is a small chain of American Diners mostly located in Virginia & the Carolinas. My friend who lives in South Carolina took us here, she likes the place and the food...I can see why. Good size venue, causal ambiance, friendly staff and fairly easy on the finances. #Adulting:~ ONE FINE DAY - 4/5READ THE MENU... CAREFULLY!! lol. They got me at; Watermelon & Hibiscus with lime. I completely missed the non- alcoholic part...lol. I was looking forward to a refreshing cocktail. #Grub:~ CHIPS & GUACAMOLE - 4/5Just a solid standard Chips & Guac, good stuff, just shy of amazing. ~ SPICY SAUSAGE & BLACK PEPPER HONEY PIZZA - 4/5This was a nice surprise. The pizza already sounded very interesting to me, the addition of Honey just put it over the top. Very tasty.#TACOS:The plate of Tacos includes two, and for an upcharge, a Third. I wanted to try a couple of different Tacos, luckily you are able to choose two different Tacos for one dish. ~ CHILI MARINATED SHRIMP TACO - 4.5/5An excellent combo. I didn't foresee this working out that well. I'm happy to say I was very wrong; Tasty and well balanced without being too spicy. The chimichurri slaw was delish, and I'm not usually a fan of mayo, but it worked in this case. ~ BEEF SHORT RIB TACO - 4.5/5 An other combo I wasn't too sure off ; wood oven braised beef, tomatillo chipotle salsa, queso fresco, cilantro lime onion slaw. Deliciousness! Good amount of meat in the Taco as well. I'm a fan. I like this place!"
"Six of us had dinner here on a weeknight. It was good, but not as good as what I've had in the past. Made the mistake of ordering the eggplant parmigiana. Way too much breading. Soggy. Eggplant itself was so thin you couldn't taste it at all. Would not recommend. Husband's pasta dish with sausage & broccoli was okay, nothing exciting, and quite expensive for what it was. Definitely recommend sticking with Pasta Puttanesca. That's what they do best here. They do a decent pizza.Indoor & Outdoor seating. Good old-school Italian restaurant in City Market. Parking is as it is for anything downtown...find what you can. The Red Hat lot is pretty convenient."
"I may have found my new favorite Italian cuisine in RDU! I reallly wanted some pasta the other night and this restaurant hit the mark! We ordered cocktails, lobster ravioli with jumbo shrimp, and veal marsala. That saffron sauce in the ravioli was perfection and very fresh. I even tried the veal and it was tender and well seasoned. They serve plenty of pasta combos, including a build your own option, pizza, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. They offer weekday lunch specials until 230p and daily specials, such as:$8 martinis on Tuesday and FridayAPPY Hour from 2-6 on Monday and Saturday$5 mimosas on Sunday"
"Assaggio's still reigns as my favorite pizza restaurant on this side of Raleigh. As a New Yorker, I'm considered a pizza snob. Assaggio's never disappoints. They also sell delicious Italian bakery items here. The garlic knots, tuxedo cake and pepperoni pie are my favorite menu items. Make this your first stop for pizza in the area. There is ample indoor dining space and they prepare your slices fresh."
"Primo Pizza is our go to pizza joint in Clayton! It's a small hole in the wall place in downtown but don't let that steer you away. The pizza here is delicious and the garlic knots deserve an honorary mention! It's super garlicky mmmm!"
"This place is a GEM! Great food and amazing service. My wife has been going here for years but this was my first time getting to experience them. We went on a whim, just happen to be in the area and wanted something good. It's located on a busy street in a busy parking lot, so get your mind right. Really, prepare yourself (especially if you are going during a high traffic time) as there are people and cars EVERYWHERE. However, the actual shop is small but clean. You can tell it is older but nothing that will scare you away. The menu is pretty practical and simple - Pizza, wings, salads, sub, etc. the norm you would look to find at a Pizzeria. I took a look at the menu and was surprised to see they had fried Zucchi available - YUM!We ordered Chef Salad with ranch which came with garlic breadFried ZucchiChicken Philly Cheesesteak with peppers, cheese, mayo, and onions Large Ranch The order took about 15 mins to be prepared and everything was fresh and hot. The fried zucchi was sooo crunchy and seasoned very well. You received a very large portion for the cost (greatly appreciated!). The salad was HUGE with meat, cheese, hard boiled egg, and cheese. We ate on that salad for two days and each time it was just as good as the first time! The breadsticks were okay, nothing really special about them - just breadsticks lol. Oh, the ranch, THE RANCH! It was soooo good on EVERYTHING. Please get an extra one or three when you order and thank me later! The cheesesteak was the winner of the meal. Tender chicken, veggies cooked soft and cut perfectly to match the size of the meat. Not tooo much mayo, just enough to enjoy on the sandwich and a good amount of cheese to top it off. I look forward to trying some other items off their menu - like the other sandwiches, salads, and of course the pizza!"
"I've been here a few times now and never had a bad meal from salads to pizzas. It's conveniently next door to a Hertz location I visit so I always try to plan the lunches for Mamma Mia. The owners are usually there and seem really nice. Indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of easy parking. Most recently I was hosting a training and needed to feed a lot of people. We went in for their huge pizzas (and they are HUGE!). This thing literally barely fits in the back of an suv. We picked up three with a variety of toppings. Everyone at the training loved the pizza for its taste and novelty size. I highly recommend you check these out if you're hosting. It's a win win for taste and conversation piece. They also have a great lunch special. I usually get this two slice lunch special (theme here...the slices are huge) and a drink. Overall this is a great local spot! I always look forward to my Apex trips because of this lunch gem."
"We were searching for a quick bite in between parades. The location was about the only thing I found to be good. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon, seemed promising that locals approve. We ordered quickly as we were on a time limit. 2 slices of cheese pizza for me, a slice for my granddaughter and hubs got an Italian sub. It took over 45 min to get our food. Ok, they were busy so can forgive the delay, but the pizza was flavorless. Like zero. Would have been better off with frozen. 2 stars cuz hubs did enjoy his sub but fries he got came out cold and soggy. Pizza Amore in wf is much better choice!"
"Been wanting to come here for a minute and decided to today and glad I did. I started with the mimosa flight which came with 3 glasses of one juice each:orange, cranberry and lavender . They were the bomb, the lavender one was my favorite. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and chose breakfast potatoes as my side. The sandwich was good but it can get messy especially if you put syrup on it, end up using my fork towards the end. Overall good brunch for a Saturday and definitely will be back soon."
"This is the real NY-style pizza. Very, very, very thin slice... which is how I like it. Get the plain cheese! Garnish with a bit of oregano. Perfect!!Up there with Di Fara's in Cary, NC/Brooklyn, NY."
"When we want to eat at the larger location of Anna's we come out here to Fuquay. The staff is young and nice, but could use some guidance at times. While I like the smaller vibe in Apex, sometimes the coziness there is a little too close. The staff is more mature there too.All that being said, I love the variety of pasta sauces offered at Anna's. My favorite is the creamy Vermouth and I get it everytime. The dish I love comes with that sauce and Italian sausage, spinach, and sundried tomatoes. The leftovers make me happy too!My spouse got angel hair with marinara and fresh mushrooms, which she enjoyed, but it was a bit heavy on the sauce so next time she'll make mention. We tried the garlic bread this time, which honestly was a letdown. Very dry and not much garlic flavor. I've never tried the pizza because the pasta is too good to pass up. Maybe one of these days!"
