It's quality, a lot of food and so cheap! Service is great and the place is adorbs. We had the brussel sprouts app and it was really good. Also had the crab Rangoon dip which tastes just like you think it should. I had the tuna-avotini. It wasn't the best quality tuna but for the price it was great. I prefer the poke over this dish. Anyone lined their meals and they did a great birthday celebration!"

"I have eaten at this restaurant twice for work related dinners with our team. The food has been excellent. We tried several appetizers and shared them among all of us. I have tried the bacon wrapped dates, halloumi cheese with dates, hummus, dolmas, baba ghanouj, Fattoush salad plus the chicken Shawarma and chicken kebab. The baklava dessert is incredible. Parking on the street can be a bit difficult. However, there are many parking lots nearby. They also have a good selection of vegetarian and even vegan dishes. We ordered pork skins with cheese dip and they were pure perfection-they were still crackling when dropped at our table!!!! Who would have thought to dip pork rinds into some velveta cheese concoction?!? I ordered a short rib pasta dish that was also really good! I opted to get the bread pudding to go bc I was so full after those pork rinds and pasta and after 2 bites I opted to save the rest of it for breakfast. Really delicious pizza and I love that the personal size pizza, are just the perfect size for someone to be full but not feeling bloated. Also tried the Wildberry tart pop sour very fruit forward. I dined with my boss while in town for work and absolutely loved everything about the experience. The restaurant's vibe is chic and trendy while being upscale with a comfortable, casual feel. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer (I don't remember the name, but you'll know when you see it/the staff will know if you ask for it) and it couldn't have been better. I'm a vegan so you don't have to take my word for it when I say that it had a "meaty" texture, but it was certainly far better than what you'd typically expect from a cauliflower based dish (my boss also said it was meaty and he's an omnivore).I had the Chana masala with a medium spice level for my main course, and it was perfection. The basmati rice it was served with was perfectly cooked and fluffy and paired perfectly with the dish.Oh, they have a great selections of wines as well. I went with an orange wine that was described as a bit funky. It was fabulous and paired very well with the food.Overall, I had an amazing experience at Viceroy and highly recommend it!"

"I don't know how I've lived in the area so long and this Summer was my first trip to Glenwood Grill. Tucked away in the back of the Harris Teeter plaza parking was easy for lunch. Everyone from the server to the hostess were very friendly. I went with the salmon salad and it was spot on. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad itself was super flavorful. I went in on my birthday and they also gave a free birthday dessert. They even let me pick it! So few places give anything complimentary, let alone let you select it. I thought this was the nicest touch and just awesome customer service. I look forward to dining here again for lunch or dinner!"

Our waiter was attentive early on but then was more difficult to get a hold of to ask for the check and some to go boxes. He gave a great recommendation for the spring dosa though. Overall, Cholanad is a solid restaurant and I will come back!"

I asked for a certain game to be turned on the TV, and they quickly obliged.I was given two samples of beer for free, though I would have been happy to try more. The wings are on market price, which I've never seen before. I've seen it for seafood and steaks, but never wings! Anyway, I got 2 orders of 6 wings. Because if you get an order of 12, you cannot get different flavors. I don't agree with that rule, but ok. I got an order of Chipotle BBQ and an order of Cajun dry rub. Big juicy wings, well cooked, great flavors. Very well done.For the road, I did get a Thespian pizza, with spinach, portabellas, tomatoes, garlic, mozz, and feta, and I added grilled chicken. Very good crust, not too thin or thick, but still very crispy, even left over. Definitely a place to return to, I had a fun time."

Fortunately, the underpants and bathing suits have long been replaced by an endless resource of stunning Italian cuisine, where red vino and red sauce pleasantly litter the menu and one of the finest entrees on it is their house made lasagna. Its rich in flavor, layered with thin noodles to ensure your palate captures the flavors of all ingredients across the board. As far as I am concerned, the best seats in the house are on the outdoor patio next to the large fountain, on a good weather day of course. No worries if there is a good chance of rain, they have everything covered. I am a fan of authentically made cannoli, so end the night right with one of the freshly prepared cannoli's'. The subtle sweetness of the filling, the slight tang of the ricotta, and the delicate flavor of the crisp shell, all prepared in-house, YUM! Mulino will see us again, Cheers!"

I ordered a Dirty Martini (not too dirty) and my friend ordered an Aperol Spritz.For an app, we chose the brussel sprouts and for entrees we chose the Greek salad with grilled chicken and mussels in white wine sauce with chorizo. Everything was seasoned perfectly and full of flavor.As our meal went on, people started filling up tables outside and inside. I visited and ordered from their late night menu after 11:30 p.m. Staff was friendly and kind as we were seated immediately. We were seated near the bar and DJ DVS was spinning throwback Hip Hop & R&B. He is excellent. He didn't play a bad song.I decided on the catfish platter from their late night menu with a side house salad. I paired it with a old fashioned bourbon cocktail. My friend ordered jerk wings and fried pimento cheese balls. They were delicious. Our waitress worked hard at bussing and serving tables. She was overwhelmed with work due to the lack of staff. Despite this, our food arrived quickly given the time of night. My catfish was the perfect amount of filet and nice and crispy. This is definitely a convenient stop for a Cajun style brunch or for some weekend fun while downtown. They offer all the vibes with DJ DVS and karaoke some nights."

"I took my wife and daughter for Mother's Day, we were looking for an event restaurant at the same time as avoiding UNC, Duke and NC State graduation. A friend recommended Rey's and we were quite happy. Coincidentally we were in New Orleans a few weeks ago, we didn't book Rey's because of its New Orleans style, but we definitely felt it when we were there. I was impressed with the breadth of the menu, very challenging deciding what to order with many great options both as starters, salads and main courses. I ended up starting with the carpaccio, which had a lot of flavor outside the beef, as you sometimes just get nice meat but this was a more complete dish. I particularly liked the accompanying greens, they had quite a nice dressing. I ordered a ribeye medium rare as my main, it was also cooked perfectly and a nice steak. I added soft onions and although they were not world changing. I also found the sides simply okay. The better was the creamed spinach, which was nice but not the creamiest I have had. I did not particularly enjoy the asparagus, thin asparagus, nothing special.For dessert, we shared bananas foster, largely for the presentation and it lived up to it. Our waiter did a great job, the bananas tasted good, and they were nice enough to split it into three servings, each with sufficient ice cream.Service was very professional. Overall ambience was among the most formal I have experienced in the Triangle (very similar to Ruth Chris, not coincidentally also with NO roots), you didn't need a jacket but you would not be out of place without it. Overall, an excellent event restaurant."

The portion was quite big, about 3/4 pound of meat, just as it should be. The meat was pretty thick cut as well. But the roast beef disappointed me. I expected roast beef around medium rare, but it would up being served hot and cooked all the way through. Just not what I had in mind. Turkey was fine, poppy kaiser roll was nice and fresh.Megan was a really sweet server, a little shy, but I can tell she cares that the customers are happy. Ron, the owner, interacted with some of the regular customers at the bar, which is a sign of a good owner. The staff is why I'll go to the 4th star.I like that you can grab a bag of Deep River chips and a cold Dr Browns soda right off the shelf. Also, they have a nice bar with a reasonably good selection of drafts. I'm sure I'll come back and try the pastrami or corned beef, but the roast beef will be a pass."

My friend's husband made the arrangements, but I arrived early to help decorate the space. The staff and manager were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped me bring in the decor and get everything set up. The location is nice and has a great vibe for an intimate dinner or a group dinner. The parking lot has plenty of parking in their private lot. The menu options are great! I ordered the Grain Salad with a Crab Cake and it was DELICIOUS!!! I wouldn't not have even imagined that putting all of the different flavors together would end up complimenting each other so well. I am allergic to pecans and there wasn't a single one on there once I asked for them to be withheld from the dish. Everyone in the group truly enjoyed their meal. I tasted some of the Brussels Sprouts that my other friend ordered and it was good. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area."

There are plenty of parking options, but the adjacent lot is small then there's a dirt lot right across from the restaurant as well. The size of the restaurant is my only complaint. I live right across the street so I just do to-go, but have gone during the week for lunch a few times when it wasn't too busy. They have a full bar with a lot of beer and liquor options as well as a few wine options. The servers are all friendly and helpful. Definitely a small-town family feel when you go. Now to the important part...the food. AMAZING. Everything is good here and there's an assortment of options. I've had so many different things on the menu and I have always been pleased. The prices are also great for the quality and quantity you get. Some of my favorite dishes include: Mango Jalapeno Wings PizzaSubsStuffed Mushroom (stuffed with crab and shrimp) Mussels Homemade chips Shrimp in Garlic Salmon BLT WrapStromboliAlso, they have great specials every weekend that start on Thursday evenings and go Friday and Saturday evening. There is also an amazing cake display when you walk in, so it gives a bit of a diner vibe. However, their menu is a mix of diner food and high class food. I assume this makes it good for whole families with kids. I got the stuffed tilapia which was delicious. I highly recommend trying this place out for nicer food in a relaxed setting. The sauces I chose were spicy garlic Parmesan and medium buffalo. I also ordered a Hell Yes Ma'am beer. It was delicious and cold, definitely one of my favorite beers on draft. There were only 2 waitresses working, but they were hustling and friendly. My wings took forever to be brought out to me though and that sucked. When I received them, they were barely warm! What a bummer! The flavors of the sauce were delicious. I'm not sure if I would return."

"The Peddler Steak House is located in the Oak Park Shopping Center off Glenwood Ave. It is tucked away to the left side of the shopping plaza so you might not know that it is there. It felt like the restaurant was there before the rest of the shopping center. The shopping center has plenty of parking.Reservations are taken for groups of 8 or more so if your group is smaller you might have to wait for a table. We were a group of 11 and none of us had been to the Peddler Steak House before.The restaurant is on the dark side so the dining experience would have been better with more lighting so you don't need your phone flashlight to read the menu. The tables are closer together than I would have liked too. When you walk in there is a small dining room with the kitchen to your right and the bar to your left. Then there are smaller rooms and that is where my group was seated.Service was good here but slow so give yourself plenty of time here. I went with the Filet Mignon and sweet potato. The salad bar is also included with the meal. I don't like salad bars so would have preferred a side salad. The Filet Mignon was outstanding and one of the best I've had. The sweet potato was also good and came with a cup of cinnamon.I'd eat here again as the filet was delicious."
