"My husband's family lives in the area, and they love this bakery. I've been a few times, and I still don't get the hype. The pastry items are over-priced, and they just aren't that good. Most of the things I've tried taste like they're already a day old, and there are always flies hovering around them. On this most recent trip, I didn't get any baked goods but I was seeking an iced coffee. I asked if they had decaf iced coffee. The cashier asked if I meant a decaf iced latte. Sure, I'll take whatever decaf iced drink they have. For a moment, I thought I was still ordering the coffee so I asked if they could put milk in it. I was met with a bit of an attitude, and a "well, a latte already has milk in it." Kind of annoying but whatever. The latte itself was $5.40, which was definitely not worth it for the quality or the experience. Plus, the lines are all out of whack. Is it one or two lines? Nobody knows.Next time the family comes back, I'm just going to sit this one out."
"Highly recommend their chai tea latte because they make it in house and serves in a pretty cup but what makes this exceptional is that it's not over-sweet. I wish this place had pour over but they have a drip light roast with hints of melon that I really liked. The spicy chicken biscuit sandwich is a must. Seriously I'm not exaggerating it's the best breakfast biscuit I've ever had with tangy pickles and jam. Everything was $17 including a scone with my sister. Now I would knock a star off for wifi since it's spotty but since the ambiance was so nice upstairs they are getting a 5 from me! Highly recommend it"

"Came here off a heavy recommendation while downtown Raleigh. Considering it was cold out, coming to a local coffee shop was just what we wanted. You can view to accompanying photos to see the inside, it's really tasteful and the ambiance is calm and chill. We noticed the cleanliness of this establishment is top notch (including the bathrooms). Service was great, just one worker behind the counter but she was able to keep up. She was so friendly and helped us with ordering what we were in the mood for. I got the Lucettegrace HOT coffee which is two espresso shots with steamed condensed milk. This is exactly what I was looking for and one of the best sweet hot coffee drinks I've had. We also got a chai tea latte which was absolutely delicious. Now on top of the bomb drink experience we got a pastry which I forgot the name of however what was awesome was that the girl ended up giving us a free baklava croissant. This was so unexpected but much appreciated. "I'll be back!" - Arnold Schwarzenegger"
"Amazing donuts -- crispy on the outside, fluffy and tasty on the inside, and always some new interesting flavor. We like the cinnamon buns too! And when you get a dozen donuts (or pastries and donuts combined), there is a discount. This time round we had apple cider donuts (standard and good), cranberry earl-grey donuts (one of the day's specials), and ginger hibiscus donut (another special). They were all good!We also had raspberry jam scones - delightful texture on the outside, full of jam on the inside - good, but very sweet, and not really a scone. More of a jam tart. And of course, we got a couple of the cinnamon buns -- they have a lot of sugar on them, but they're delicious. But what makes Monuts exceptional is really the donuts - both the unusual flavors (which are always changing) and the texture (crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside). It's clear that they really work hard at this, and the results are exceptional. I think they open at 7:00 am, and often there's a line at that hour. Come by at midday, and they may be out of almost everything. You'll see in the pictures I posted that it's dark out (as in not yet light) -- we got there early to get a good selection."
"Looking for a new spot today for a treat and iced coffee. This was a positive stop and enjoyable. My friend ordered a praline latte and I ordered a plain iced coffee. We tried the scone and vanilla cake. The cake is a light sponge filled with incredible vanilla cream. The cake was moist and lovely. The chocolate chip scone was all that and more. We will be back. All delicious."
"My friend and I came by for some morning pastries. I ordered the bear claw and my friend got the banana bread. The bear claw was very sweet, flakey, and flavorful! The banana bread was moist and not too sweet. Overall, I would definitely return for more pastries!"
"I stopped in to grab a loaf of bread and chose the cinnamon raisin. It was so tasty. I can't wait to return to try more breads and a few pastries."
"We love Brecotea! We started coming here about three years ago and continue to recommend it to others. They make delicious breads, pastries, cakes, and more in sweet and savory flavors. Some are better than others, but I'm sure it's more due to taste preference than quality. I particularly like their hot dog, chicken curry, and mango pastries paired with a fruit tea. Most recently I purchased the potted plant cake since it looked so real. After parking in the lot, grab a tray and tongs from beside the display case. Pick your desired breads and pastries then head to the counter. At the counter, if desired, you can order cake slices, ice cream, or a beverage (milk teas, fruit teas, milkshakes, etc.) then pay. It is pricy, but comparable to similar establishments. The pastries are worth the price for an occasional treat. Brecotea continues to be on our list of places to bring friends, family, and visitors. We definitely recommend it to others!"
"My daughter attends NC State and we could not be with her for her birthday. ENTER THE CUPCAKE SHOPPE! These folks were super helpful and friendly. They helped arrange for 12 cupcakes to be delivered to my daughter on her birthday complete with a card! Check out their website. They have a plethora of flavors. I sent my daughter double chocolate, lemon, carrot cake and cinnamon. Daughter said they are delicious! There folks were top-notch. They helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday over the span of 125 miles. Give them a look. Your tastebuds will thank you."
"Great place. Clean with a 99 health grade. We enjoyed our Chicken Gyros. The staff was very friendly."
"I'm not sure where to start. I've heard about this place and when I first saw the prices I was quite taken aback. But I was assured these cookies" were not your everyday cookie. First off, the CC changes flavors weekly so there's never room for complacency with flavors. Secondly, let's talk flavors this week: sea salt toffee, peanut butter brittle, molten lava, pecan pie, orange roll and classic pink. These cookies are extra large and loaded with taste and pure goodness. Every bite melts in your mouth. I tried the peanut butter brittle today and have lost my mind. I get it. I'm sold. I will be back. The cookies are pricey but WELL worth it. They also sell ice cream."
"We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine:Parking: 5Location: 4Decor/ambiance: 5Customer Service: 5Yummmmmy yummmm cupcakes! Love SmallCakes as a chain but i really like this location. Its the same great cakes but something is a little special here. They have the sweetest little lady working inside that works the shop. I've been twice now and have yet to grab her name. She always makes the visit pleasant and she goes above and beyond to make sure all customers are welcomed! In regards to the cupcakes, they are great! Nice sized cakes for the price and they always have super awesome flavors to pick from."

PROS:- Excellent everything bagel. The dough has a dense and solid quality to it. Strong showing by the bagel.- Can substitute milk (i.e. oat or almond)- There is a self-service water cup area, and they don't charge extra- Prices were reasonable- It is easy to walk to from anywhere downtown- Lots of spaces to sit and work with outlets- Larger tables available for small groups- Diverse audience- Cozy, go-to coffee spot vibesCONS:- Parking can be a bit tough to findOTHER THOUGHTS:- The cream cheese and sandwich were pretty straightforward. If they added a little pizazz to both offerings, it would take them to the next level!OVERALL: - Recommend trying!

Came here for a cold brew and croissant. They have a ramp in the back if you need it. The croissant was super flakey and savory and the chocolate was sweet and creamy. Very butter forward. Also plenty of seating.

Cool Durham Establishment that seems rather hip and trendy if you want donuts & coffee. Now the menu for donuts isn't super extensive or should you expect your typical strip mall donut shop. They have a limited pasty selection but you should find what you're looking for. They make coffee per order and it was a decent cup of joe. Service was fast and friendly. The place has ample seating inside with some outdoor seating that's not just bunched together, someone obviously put some thought into how the seating outdoors would look. Cool place, I'd come back.

I looked up this business on Yelp and saw that they have great reviews. A friend and I visited this location in hopes of getting a great iced coffee and a sweet bakery item. Crema did not disappoint.Crema's decor includes multiple coffee displays, pastry options and wooden tables & chairs. The environment is cozy and quiet. It's great for meeting a friend, working remotely or just reading a book. The staff was attentive and helpful when I placed and picked up my order. I ordered the iced praline latte and it was delightful. I wish that I ordered the 24 oz instead of the 16 oz drink. I also ordered the chocolate chip cookie scone. The scone was scrumptious! It was soft and full of chocolate chips and walnuts. I recommend trying this scone when you visit Crema.

Pastries are better than the sandwiches. The bread was too dense for sandwiches surprising as it's a big bakery.

I came on a Saturday morning right when they opened at 10am. The display of baked goods was pristine and the world was our oyster. My wife and I ended up getting a scallion bun with rou song (meat floss.. trust me it tastes better than it sounds), a matcha swirl bun with sliced almonds, and an ube bun. Everything tasted great - the bread was so soft and pillowy, the flavors were all spot-on. My favorite was the ube bun, which was filled with ube paste and packed with flavor. I just couldn't get over the texture of the bread - it's so soft. The sweet pastries weren't super sweet, which I appreciated.I also ordered the taro milk bubble tea (with 25% sweetness) and it was just the right companion to the pastries. The boba was the right consistency, the flavors were good, and I enjoyed it all. The place is set up so you go to the pastries section first if you want something there, and you pick whichever pastries you want (self-serve), then you go to the register to pay for the pastries and order a drink and desserts from the dessert case if you'd like. Even though this is how most Asian pastry shops are set up, it's a bit confusing because you have to walk into the store and to the left, somewhat past the register, before you get to the pastry case. There is signage that tries to explain everything, but as first timers, we had to slowly figure our way around. The service was quick and friendly. There is a lot of seating inside, and plenty of options of pastries and drinks to choose from. I will be back to try more! Pro tip: Come early if you can, because not only will you get all the pastries fresh, but by the time we left around 11am, the line was ridiculously long. When we got there at 10am, there was no line and all the pastries were lined up pristinely in the case.

"I really enjoyed my experience there. I learned that I need to ask for extra hot when it's super cold. I did not try a signature drink but I was glad they had the option to get my cravings under control. I can not wait to go again."
"TLDR: Large, tasty, but expensive cookies. Exciting rotating menu. Subpar flavors. While in the area and needing a Friday sugar fix, I stopped at Crumbl. To save time I started an online order. It took a while to go through the log in process and a $2 tip was required. This brought the total of one cookie to nearly $7! Then when it said the wait time was 15-20 min, I decided to abandon the online order and order at the counter. There were about 3 employees busy at work and no customers. I was greeted upon arrival and helped right away. I ordered one cookie and the order came to over $9 before tip. I questioned the total and the employee returned to fix it. I like how you can easily see and pay on the screen so I could see the error. When fixed the total was about $5. Pricy for one cookie, but they do look pretty and are packaged well so they make a great gift. The rotating weekly menu is exciting, but the cookies are not very flavorful so they taste similar. Even the guava cookie had a very faint fruity flavor and mainly tasted like sugar. Many times I have noticed that the unique flavors are just in the frosting not the cookie itself. I understand having a weekly changing menu is challenging, but there is room for improvement on their flavors. The cookies are all perfectly baked and decorated beautifully. Overall, good place for the occasional treat or gift."
"Croissant? Yes please!Filled croissants?? Absolutely!!Glazed, filled croissants??? Shut the front door!!!My keto diet went completely off the rails today. Thanks a lot Burney. Good thing this place is two hours from my house."
"What a sweet family. Purchased some cake slices and cupcakes and they were awesome. I will be placing an order for a coconut pineapple cake for myMothers birthday. If it's anything like those cupcakes we had today It will be amazing. Their array of options is mind blowing. They even had candles to make a mini cake for a birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed our stop in today"
"Atmosphere: Iris Coffee Lab is a cute cafe that caters to various needs, from a morning coffee run to a productive work or study session. Its large windows flood the space with beautiful natural light, and the minimalist yet artistic decor adds to its charm. The plants scattered throughout the cafe also infuse life and vibrancy into the space. While finding a seat may be a challenge at times, once you secure one, it's the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy. Service: The baristas at Iris are always friendly and eager to provide recommendations. Our drinks have always come out quickly with no issues. Food: We've tried several of Iris's drinks, including their Blue Matcha Latte, Brown Sugar Latte, Vanilla Latte, Spring Matcha Tonic, Summer Matcha, Peach Field Espresso Tonic, Bourbon Butterscotch Latte, Cortado, and Drip Coffee. Our favorites are their Brown Sugar Latte and Vanilla Latte. The lattes aren't overly sweet, and they have a comforting, warm quality to them. Even their drip coffee is satisfying and has a good punch of caffeine that is stronger than other coffee shops' daily drips. We've also tried some of their food menu items, with our favorites being the Prosciutto Sammy and Pesto Sammy. The Prosciutto Sammy integrates all of our favorite flavors (prosciutto, arugula, mozzarella, fig) into delicious bites. The Pesto Sammy is also wonderful - the fresh basil and salty meat come together as a balanced complement to any drink. Overall: Iris Coffee Lab is our favorite coffee shop in the Triangle. We absolutely love their space and rotating menu, bringing us back more times than we can count. This cafe is a local gem and is definitely worth a visit."
"The union special egg/hash brown sandwich was decent, but a bit plain. I also recommend the hash brown at least on the side, with the option to add it yourself later. It was a bit too salty, and despite seeming to be freshly fried it lacked flavor and texture. The sauce was a bit too sweet, but the brioche was pretty standard in a good way.If you're willing to pay a few extra bucks for an elevated breakfast sandwich, this might be your place. But I thought it was decent."
"Sweet Traditions has been operating normally since my last review and you've been able to go back inside to select your goodies now. This is both good and bad as you might leave with more treats than you planned on. The menu has changed a little too and that they sell cookies and brownies now. I finally made it on a Saturday for the cinnamon rolls but left with gingerbread cookies and macaroons too. Sweet Traditions takes holiday orders for items not typically available in the store as you can get casseroles and more detailed treats. If you are looking for something yummy to eat, make a stop here."
"Busy busy on a Sunday, parking is always a nightmare in Cameron village on a weekend. I ordered the turkey avacado panini which was really good and had a chocolate pastry. The kid warmed up my pastry which was worth it, hot. This is a quaint spot. Food is delicious staff is nice. Just be aware of the parking here. There are also shops in the same plaza to go walk around to after."
"Best red velvet ever! This is my go to spot for red velvet cravings. On my recent trip I placed an order for the 5 flavor pound cake and it was absolutely delicious. I've tried a few of the other flavors they bake and they're all delicious."
"We happen to be walking by this bakery after eating dinner, looking for a dessert spot. We had four different cupcake options that we decided to try and they were absolutely delicious. I'd recommend!!"
"The chocolate cake I had was amazing I like how you can get fresh granola, crescents and fresh brewed coffee. They do a great job of having a variety of choices that the whole family can find something they would want and be happy. I am so glad my friend recommended it to me!"
"Visiting my mother for the weekend, she couldn't decide where she wanted to eat. When I mentioned that a friend said there was a good deli in town, she immediately said "oh, Martinhos! I forgot about that one! We haven't been in a long time but they have good food". She was right. She had a cheeseburger her way, with lettuce, tomato, Mayo and onion. Looked pretty good and she said it was. I had a veggie sub that had cheese, Mayo, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, and I can't remember what else, and added added the veggie patty mentioned on their other veggie sub. Not sure what brand it was but the patty had good flavor. Since no sides were included we shared the house chips that came with ranch. They were okay, needed more crisp for my taste. Next time, I want to try either their pizza or a pasta dish. Lots to choose from."
"After getting a late dinner, my friend and I wanted some dessert. Crumbled was on the way home. I placed an online order at 10:12pm for the 4-pack. We got 2 milk chocolate, 1 molten lava, and 1 chocolate covered strawberry. The 4 pack was $13.95. We arrived about 2-3 minutes after placing the order and it wasn't ready yet. It was clean inside and not busy at all. The wait for receiving the cookies was short. We both only ate 1 cookie that night and one the next morning. They were soft and DELICIOUS. I will say that the cookies weren't hot or warm. I highly enjoyed the icing on the chocolate covered strawberry cookie. Strawberry is my favorite flavor and it did not disappoint! All in all, the cookies fulfilled our desires. The staff were friendly. No complaints, really, besides the appearance on the icing of my chocolate covered strawberry cookie."
"I really enjoyed the donuts at Daylight. I love that their name fits their business hours. Opening as early as 5 a.m ! The donuts are made fresh. Very fresh, fluffy and delicious flavors. I visited today to order a dozen to share with a group as a token of appreciation during breakfast. This place was very busy with many ordering their treats and taking them to go. There is plenty of seating inside which is great. Customer service was fast and friendly. I decided on the Old Fashioned, Sour Cream, Chocolate Frosted, Lemon, Apple Crumb, Glazed and Cake flavors. My favorite is the Sour Cream ! So moist !!!!! So delicious. I also enjoyed the Old Fashioned as well. I was looking forward to a French Crueller but learned that they no longer make those. I can't wait to return and try their other goodies."
"I'm not sure why this place has such low ratings. Note, I have not tried their baked goods and feel the name is a little misleading but their chaat (basically, Indian street food) is SO good.We have now been multiple times. There's no online ordering so you do have to call for takeout. One item in my order was once wrong, but it was vegetarian so I ate it. It was so good I'm glad it was wrong! Now it's part of our order every time. We have had the samosa chaat, aloo tikki chaat, pav baaji, paapdi chaat, bhel puri, Bombay sandwich, pani puri, and mango lassi. The only thing I probably wouldn't get again was the sandwich, which was fine, but everything else is better. The flavor is on point for all the chaats. I will mention either the yogurt or chutneys do make the chaat a little on the sweeter side if your preference is not that. We recently tried a different chaat place nearby and missed this one so much we went here the same day. The cafe itself is pretty casual if you do choose to eat here, but the food stays fresh for our ~20 minute drive home."
"Located inside the Transfer Co Food Hall, at the front and to your left, Captain Cookie is exactly what you'd think it would be. They have fresh baked cookies in all the common flavors, sold individually or in price bundles. A popular option is an ice cream sandwich where they take two of the somewhat large cookies of your choosing and stuff a generous amount of house ice cream in the middle. Because the portions were so generous I decided to just get one cookie with a scoop of ice cream which came out to a little over $5. So worth it! I got the valentine's day pink funfetti cookie with, of course staying ion theme, strawberry ice cream. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. I had just had a dank burrito from next door and could only get about half way through the mound of ice cream, so i'd recommend sharing with a friend if given the chance. I love cookies. And i love common cookie flavors. Sometimes you don't need to reinvent the wheel when it's just that good. I appreciate this business and i appreciate their affordable pricing. I also appreciate how freaking kind the guy behind the counter was. If everyone was that nice the world would be full of a lot happier people. I'm very thankful for the great Captain Cookie experience and would come back again for dessert if/when in the area."
"I've been here in person & I've gotten a few deliveries. I think I need an intervention at this point because I'm ADDICTED. I LOVE cinnamon roll most of all. We've gotten a lot of their flavors. I can't complain at all. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. I love the self-service kiosks and going to pick up my order greeted by smiling faces. I can't recommend this place enough!! The cookies are dense and chewy. The icing is delicious. I think you should try it if you've never been here. Crumbl is BOMB!"
"Holly Springs has a chocolate shop, welcome Fera'wyn's!I stopped in during their soft opening today and grabbed 4 chocolates for $10- the bourbon, limoncello, bananas foster and simply dark. They will also be selling baked goods; however, their oven decided to fail them on opening day. That was unfortunate. It's hard to pick a favorite as they were all so tasty but if I had to choose it would be the limoncello. I can't wait to check out all of the other goodies."
"Bestow is amazing. This bakery offers breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes and cakes! I usually visit for the cupcakes, they are the best especially the frosting. A few of my favorite flavors are the red velvet, sweet potato, turtle and vanilla. We've also ordered a 4 inch Birthday cake from here and it was beautiful. I like that they offer different sizes as this was perfect for our smaller gathering. I love having this place in Holly Springs."
"Delicious frozen custard but very expensive. Their min chocolate chip and their no-sugar added vanilla are my favorites but the most incredible sundae is their Snickers Sundae. Always fast service."
"Love their cookies, especially the oatmeal and anything with the oatmeal base. Their chocolate chip is also very good! Customer service has been good. Good service! Store is clean and looks like the rest."
"I love the options. The farmhouse cinnamon swirl loaf is my favorite! The service is fantastic and always friendly. The samples they have are always generous and give you a way to try new things without purchasing big portions. What a great place. If you haven't been, go!!"
"2/8/23: I went to the laundromat the day before and noticed this cute little bakery. Unfortunately, they were closed, so I made it a point to go today. Y'all know I LOVE cake, so I was excited to see their open sign lit up. We went a little before closing, which I'm sad about. I will be sure to go earlier next time. We were immediately greeted by the owner's dad. He was so bubbly and friendly. I loved him!We ended up getting a mocha chocolate cake square and some chocolate chip cookies. Now, being that I get cake all the time, the only thing that I didn't care for was the icing. It wasn't the thick, sweet buttercream icing that I'm used to. It was more like whipped, and I don't like whipped anything! Outside of that, the flavor of the cake was good and it was SO MOIST. I scraped the icing off and just at the cake. The cookies were good too. I could taste the butter - YUM! We are definitely going to go back to their brunch and special events. I can't wait to see what other yummy goodies I can get my hands on. :)Go check them out. You won't be disappointed."
