Prime One Twelve

Look, obviously it's expensive. But this truly is a premium dining experience. The chefs and service at seriously top notch and that's critically why you're coming here. The food is brilliant and you truly feel like a king. Doubt I'm going to make a return visit as I'm out of town and this was a special occasion however I enjoyed my time and I would 100% tell others to try it if it's of interest to them.

I'm so glad I didn't let the recent bad review I saw deter me. I took the chance of visiting on my last night visiting Miami. I had no issue booking the reservation. Derrick was so pleasant. And we arrived about 10 mins early and was seated right away. Our servers name was Carlos , he was awesome! Exactly what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Tbh, it wasn't just him attending to us. There were a few ladies who came by frequently to keep our water glasses filled, they took our empty plates immediately and kept our table clean, wiping it down often. They didn't have a few of the cuts on the menu but it was ok, they have a large enough selection. We started with the Caesar salad. For $20 it was enough to feed 3-4 people! Fresh, loved the shaved pieces of parm on top. Don't indulge because when your food comes they do Not skimp! We both ordered filet mignon, cooked medium well with the peppercorn sauce. Along with the mashed sweet potatoe and vanilla bean, creamed spinach, and truffle Mac. If you are unsure of truffles don't try it because they give you truffles baby!! I love it and the cheese pull was perfect. Everything came out relatively quick and was hot! We were so full off eating the salad we barely touched the food but it was delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. Even the complimentary bread (which yep I took home lol) was fire! And I had a coke which I'm a monster if my coke doesn't have fizz. Their fizz to syrup ratio on point. One of those McDonald's perfect cokes. Left there with a bag full of movie n cuddling eats. Can't say good enough things about our visit.(However 1 thing, to be honest, the tip percentage was set by the waiter upon presenting us the bill. So keep eye. You can adjust. And also, my BF made this note although because we barely ate our meal and had so much food left it didn't bother me so much. He noticed that it appeared not ALL our food was bagged to go. He feels they only put what could fit in the single containers for each dish and wasted the rest. Which a meal at that price every morsel counts. For me though they were filled , and they even gave us more bread! So.. just be mindful)

I don't like to leave negative reviews but had a very odd experience here last night.I came here for my birthday last night with my boyfriend. We were sat at the bar waiting for for our table. Didn't get a greeting from the bartender, he just said do you know what you want. We had two espresso martinis and they left bacon for each party to snack on. As were were drinking and eating the bartender drops the check without us as asking for it. We paid and still sat there for another 20 mins still drinking. The bartender then moves the bacon with half eaten pieces in it to another girl sitting at the bar. We looked at him confused and he said, oh are you still eating that, and we said that there's still have eaten bacon in there. The girl had already starting eating it but he took it away from her.We finally get a table after 40 mins. The server was very kind, explained the menu and some specials but then never comes back to the table to get our order for another 30 mins. We got 2 appetizers, the bone in 22oz ribeye and potatoes. The appetizers we're just good; oysters rockerfeller came apart in two pieces but the steak dumplings were very tasty. Another server wrapped up out appetizers because we wanted to save room for the steak.We've now been in the restaurant for 2 hours and are finally served our main course at 11pm. Other tables that came after us already ate and were wrapping up. Had two pieces of the precut steak and found a hair in the steak. I never say anything when theres a hair but for a pricey steak and the experience so far we felt the need to. The server was very apologetic and brought over someone to speak to. They offered drinks but we had enough to drink, offered another steak but its already 11pm and we didn't want to wait for another, so they offered dessert. After that interaction no one came over to the table again, so after sitting there with the steak we didn't want sitting on the table for 25 mins we flagged the server down to get the check.They were kind enough to remove the steak from the check but from the bar service to the hair in the steak the experience as a whole was pretty odd.

Delicious steakhouse!! Great vibes and great drinks. mussels are amazing, lamb chops are a thing and my favorite drink is a Tuscan Leather. Music is normally good, sometimes there is a dj on the weekends. I love the happy hour menu and they also have a late night menu which is attractive because they are open later than most venues in the area. Location is great, it is near the railroad and parking is not hard to find. I have hosted a few birthday dinners here and the crowd always raves about the food. Expect to spend a little cash

Had an absolutely wonderful family meal here last night! The grilled octopus was perfect and tender, the steaks rivaled Gibson's in Chicago and they have my favorite burger in the entire country here. The chocolate cake wasn't too shabby either!

I went to this steakhouse for an early birthday celebration, and I loved the ambiance--the food was really good! However, I couldn't help but be distracted by the man sitting next to us--quite the character, he was dressed complete with a fur, cane, and handfuls of big rings, discussing compensation with two young ladies . It was a very awkward experience, but surprisingly, I was still able to enjoy my dinner despite the "observation".

I like the atmosphere of this restaurant. It feels premium. We were sat promptly for our reservation. Our server was Erica and she was excellent. I ordered a Margarita and it was good, but mainly ice and a bit on the weak side. He liked the Prime Whiskey Sour. He said it was well balanced.The filet mignon we ordered was OK. It was not bad nor good enough to pay $89 for. The Brussel sprouts were not good. They were overflowed in our opinion. I did really enjoy the cheesy scalloped potatoes. The Caesar salad was OK. I had to ask for more dressing. The baked potato did not have enough oomph. It was pretty bland and they forgot the chives. Last, was the fried oreos. These were very good but I could only eat one. The night was pleasant but certain aspects could have been improved.

This was my first time here and I had the best experience. The food is phenomenal. Keep in mind that all the portions are HUGE! The two of us shared the Ceasar salad, lobster Mac and cheese and the giant meatball - all delicious. For dessert we had the fried Oreos. The vibes were great too and our server, Kevin, was super nice and on point. Definitely coming back.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Coming from Houston I usually have low expectations for restaurants when I am traveling. Prime One twelve exceeded my expectations with phenomenal service and each salivating dish. The A5 was worth the price tag. We added a side of peppercorn sauce which we agreed was the best peppercorn sauce we have ordered from any steakhouse. On our way out we ran into Shaq which was just a cherry on top for the overall experience we had at Prime One Twelve. Great lighting, and noise level I should add.

Perfect ambiance for our anniversary. All food flavory and delish! Definitely recommend
