"Good spot for breakfast. Latte was just ok. My friend got a cold brew and didn't like it. I went with the sweet potato bowl and it was very good. The hash mix is pre made so I couldn't take the leeks out but it was still ok. I would have liked an additional egg it only comes with one. My friend had the breakfast sandwich and said it was amazing. We split the French toast and it was just ok. It was a bit dry. The topping was good though. Service was good. Place is cute. Would recommend"

"We were sat down immediately upon entering with a reservation. The DJ was on point serving up the sounds. The mimosa flight was good and it was nice to have the option to substitute flavors if you prefer. Food was good and the portions were just right. The only downside was the food was not temperature hit when it was served."
"We decided to try this place as it was close to where our friends live. It was not busy at all. We were there just after 11, so we missed breakfast. Huge selection of items. We all had something different. Our friends ordered the French Dip and the meatloaf. They said their meals were good. French Dip had so much meat and the meatloaf was a huge portion. We ordered the Hit Ham and Cheese. Again, stuffed full of ham. I ordered the Cheeseburger. Again, I could barely fit this in my mouth. Brandy was our server and she was great. Very friendly and very attentive. They have tons of specials, Fish Fry on Fridays and live music on Fri & Sat, plus Happy Hour, Trivia, Free Texas Hold 'Em. Those are the ones I remember. We loved this place and we will most definitely be back!!!!!"
"Fine dining in its truest form, Anhelo is an incredible culinary experience and one that I haven't experienced elsewhere in Phoenix. Refined, elegant, traditional fine dining is how I would describe our experience here.To begin, there seemed to more staff serving than customers eating. The attentiveness, organization, and fluidity between every team member was impressive. It was like watching the Phoenix Suns run their offense. Everyone and everything was cohesive. Poetry in motion. Our meal was 3 courses: First course: steak tar tar. Haven't had much steak tar tar in my life but this was easily the best I've ever had - and my favorite dish I had here (out of the 6 I tried).Second course: salmon. incredibly delicious. The sauce was amazing. The salmon cut was about the size of my big toe. I wished it was bigger. Third Course: pork tenderloin. This was the most underwhelming dish out of the 6 I had had. My filet was on the fattier side. It was cooked perfectly though, and the sweet potato purée was novel and unique. In retrospect, I should have tried the beef Wellington- $100 though? An expensive meal, but completely worth it. As I mentioned previously, come to Anhelo for a fine dining experience downtown PHX. You're in for a treat."
"My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner here this past Saturday during Easter weekend. We saw it as we checked into our hotel room at Found Re Hotel. We asked the young lady checking us in about the restaurant and she said it was really good. Well it really did look good. So Saturday evening we made our way downstairs in excitement at celebrating our anniversary with some great food and atmosphere. As we walked in, the restaurant had just opened. We were met by a really nice young lady that promptly showed us to a really nice table that faced the street with windows that opened up for fresh air. We some enjoyed people watching in the downtown Phoenix area in between conversations with our server. Being that they just opened they were only serving certain items from the menu and at 5 pm they would begin serving all items. So we were in no hurry at all and ordered some drinks and waited and chatted till 5 pm. This place is pretty cool. You can sit at the bar or at a table. Or if you're on the go. You can get something to go from the adjacent market. Which many people did just that. As 5 pm approached our server came to the table and we were ready to order. I already knew what I wanted anyway. But the wife didn't. So she ordered the Shawarma chicken with some sort of sauce that she just loved. I mean it looked amazing and definitely tasted amazing. I ordered the Al Pastor Pork Tenderloin. I tell you what. I don't think I breathed while it ate. Bcz this was so dang good I gobbled it up. It really was that good. The pork was tender and the pico type topping was the perfect addition to the meal. Paired with a Scottdale Blonde beer it was an excellent diner. We did have room for dessert also! Wifey got the strawberry shortcake which was delicious and I had an absolutely amazing carrot cake with almonds. I have to be honest I had my double about this place. Bcz it's a little small and the menu isn't really too big. But what they offer is amazing and delicious. Also the service was excellent! The young lady we talked to was so courteous and had a great personality! We're home now and already miss being in Phoenix so we can eat here again! Kudos!"
"Hubby and I did a "staycation" at a hotel in Chandler this past weekend for two nights. The second night we decided to check out The Parlay restaurant down the street a couple blocks away. I had seen it be built and fitted a few years back, since my office building is also nearby. A friend from church also said it was good. I went online to see the menu and it had a reservation option so I went ahead and did that. When we arrived it was quite loud because there was a singer with a guitar, so it was hard to talk to the seater. But having live music was nice, and at the very end of our visit the guy played "Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes, one of my all-time favorite songs from high/school college era (1980s). Mostly he had been going 90s grunge and 70s rock so this was quite a pleasant surprise! Definitely the highlight for me!But the food was amazing too! Hubby was feeling a bit lightheaded from not having had lunch so we ordered an appetizer, the portobello mushrooms with veggie and cheese filling. It was out of this world! I also ordered the French onion soup, which is their standard soup. It was way more than standard though, with a lovely swiss cheese "lid" baked on top and extremely savory broth filled with lots of onions and bread pieces. Yum-O!I really couldn't eat it all though because then our entrees arrived. I had the Southwest Mac and Cheese -- to die for! -- and hubby had a Gardenburger with fries. The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle with great flavor, which is very unusual to find. I couldn't come close to eating all my pasta dish so took about half of it home.I also had a blackberry margarita which was as good as it was beautiful. Hubby just had Diet Coke but they were very attentive about refilling that and our waters. The waitstaff was just awesome in general.I also used the facilities while there, and the bathrooms were beautiful! It was a layout I had never seen before, where the men's and women's rooms did not have sinks; they had a collective sink wall outside the restrooms that was beautiful too!I forgot to mention that the whole building is glass walls to the outside, which made it really fun to people watch and look at the views. There was a patio/courtyard in the middle and then the "bar" on the other side. They had sports on big-screen TVs but the sound was off so you could visit.Very nice! Definitely will go back! Not cheap, but super duper delicious!"
"Iconic wing joint in Phoenix. Very busy and great deals for your fast food type cravings. Loaded with old school memorabilia to see."
"Great food and cool drinks. This is a nice spot for brunch or an after work wine down. Chef Nik is serving up a delicious atmosphere and when you are in her restaurant you can relax and have a great time. We were there on Mother's day and it was a perfect experience and I usually avoid restaurants on this day but I am so glad we ventured out to enjoy ourselves. If you are visiting the valley or a resident put Chic Chef 77 on your list."
"With one of my all time favorites, Arcadia Farms café, officially closing, I am really sad... The only bright spot is that the neighboring sister business, Arcadia Farms marketplace, is still up and running, and it's the perfect place to stop in for freshly prepared salads, sandwiches, baked goods, amazing, desserts, hostess gifts, and even family meals. I have been ordering from the family dinner menu for quite some time now, and I have never been disappointed. I find the portion size generous, and the food is always great quality. I typically pick up a salad for lunch when I stop in to pick up the family dinner as well! If you have a sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong with any of the pastries from the marketplace. The baby cakes have become a family favorite... carrot is my absolute favorite, but coconut cream is a close second. The sprinkle cake is adorable for a festive occasion, and the tuxedo cake is always a winner as well. I recommend subscribing to the newsletter (on their website) to be "in the know" on menus and events. You can thank me later!"
"What a refreshing spot! Stopped by This local spot today for the first tine for lunch with a friend. Sat outside on the amazing patio, low tops and high tops with a great view of center WestGate.I ordered one of the local beers they offer on tap (make 12-15 local selections). For lunch I decide to get the crispy chicken sandwich. AMAZING!! Super fresh ingresiant"
"This place is the most upscale pool hall, bar, entertainment venue in Tempe. The bartender was prompt, courteous and on point. My house salad was exactly how I wanted it AND even had the salt and fresh cracked pepper on it before it came out (I mentioned I was on a schedule and it was exactly on time.) I look forward to coming back here often!"

Every time I would pass this place it was always packed. I finally had brunch here and now I know why. This place was great! Came for a baby shower and all entrées were amazing. I had the avo toast with eggs. It was delicious and the drizzle of sauce was so savory. A few ordered burgers, and they looked delicious. I ordered a Latte and the coffee was smooth and naturally sweet. Did not need sugar or honey. The pastries were soft and yummy.I definitely want to come back and bring my husband.

Excellent food, service and ambiance!Ambiance - We came on a Thursday morning and they had the music and vibes going. Hip-hop and dance songs. DJ booth on deck but no DJ spinning while we were there. Decorations were centered around hash tags! Service - We were quickly seated and Teresa provided great suggestions! And the FOOD! Everyone loved their food - from the 5 year to us old heads. From kids french toast to carnitas hash to cocunut french toast to pancakes to bacon and eggs - all delicious! And one of the versions of the hash browns is like Mikey D's with the crunch rectangle deliciousness.

I just discovered this place and it's my new favorite! Service was excellent and the food is absolutely delicious! They have fantastic specials and a very generous happy hour too! Live bands on the weekends and karaoke on Tuesdays nights! Pool tables, free Texas hold 'em on Monday nights and a lot of big screen t.v.'s for all the sports fans! I'm not sure about all the other nights yet, but I do plan on going back! They also serve breakfast! I can't wait to try it!

The best service that I have ever experienced! All staff are super nice and I love that we always got our food at the same time. I saw the other table with 6 persons, and there were 6 staff serving food at the same time. The food is delicious, and some ingredients are prepared in-house. It looks like there are quite a good number of ingredients in one dish but they are compliment each other very well. There is a parking structure in the building across the street. It is convenient to walk from the parking to the restaurant.

Great restaurant, wine bar, market, art gallery & hotel (FoudRE).They have Snowby amazing vegan Oahu Tofu rice bowl. Vegan appetizer bruschetta.Delicious!Service was great! Received complementary baklava. Food came out fast, but one of the pizzas got burnt and came out much later. They're very communicative about this.

The food was an adventure, the atmosphere warming and the service friendly. Did I mention the heavenly voice Guillaume ? Often when you have live music, it's so loud you can't carry on a conversation. But his voice was so beautiful, it was the perfect background but many times we would pause conversation just to listen. Can't wait to hear him again!

These wings were really salty. I got the hot mixed with lemon pepper. Fries were delicious. Next time I'll stick to one flavor. I'll try again at a different location.

"Recently I attended a convention in the area, so my friends and I wanted to try a local spot nearby. Yelp search led me to this location, and I'm so glad we stopped by as our server Melissa was fantastic! When we arrived, it was easy to seat ourselves as there is plenty of seating both indoors and on the patio. I can see the patio being gorgeous during the winter and spring, which just means we will have to visit again. We started with some starters which my friends kept raving about the Brussels sprouts, which intrigued me to inquire if they can make vegetarian next time so I can partake. My queso dip and chips was a great way to start, and we all enjoyed the starters. For our entrees, we all tried something different ranging from grilled cheese (mine) to sandwiches and a burger. We all loved what we chose and loved the waffle fries. I definitely could see us returning and the brunch menu peeked my interest as I think it could be a beautiful patio brunch in the winter. Always looking for a great location with a patio to get fresh air for weekend brunches with friends.Overall, a really great experience and if in the area then I would check this location out! Don't forget dessert as you can get it to go. The creme brûlée cheesecake is delicious and definitely get the caramel sauce as it was divine to add on top. Yum!"
"The lumpia is just amazing. They are small but PACKED with flavor. The spam rice was also amazing. I wish it was opened weekends. This place is the highlight of my Dr visit every few months. I would have never found this place otherwise. 10/10 will be ba"
"As we walked in, it had a little less 'dining aura' than we were expecting and we wondered if we should stay but I'm so glad we did! Rita served us wonderfully. She was very helpful with the menu and letting us know patron's favorites. I chose the slow roasted pork street tacos with brussel sprouts as my side. You can choose corn or flour tortilla and I chose corn. My meal was delicious. Three small tacos accompanied the sprouts, which were served with parm cheese and crispy bacon. So good!Family loved their meals as well, fish and chips, short ribs, and short ribs street tacos. Meat was tender and flavorful. We literally ate everything on our places except for a bit of cole slaw. I liked that everyone was able to chose any side. We started with traditional wings which were crispy outside with moist chicken inside. Yumm. Also the house mule was a perfect way to compliment the meal. Great stop!!"
"Walking in, Alibi has a nice atmosphere. I love the roof top vibe. Came here for a work event and boy was it a mess. It seemed like they were not prepared to accommodate our group. The menu is very limited so it was concerning how long some items took to come out. We were in no means any rush but chips and a salsa should not take over an hour to get to the table. The food was a hit or miss. I really enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower. A fellow co-worker enjoyed the edamame but said they were messy and spicy. I personally had the seared ahi with some Asian noodles. I could not eat the pasta. It just didn't go well with the tuna for me. The noodles did not give Asian vibe. It was also cut on the thinner side. I really wish the sesame seeds I saw on the edamame was encrusted on the tuna."
"This is the only one site restaurant and bar at Canopy Hiton old town Scottsdale. They serve breakfast and dinner, also happy hour daily but no lunch. We had a couple drinks at the bar and the cocktails were very good. Our bartender was a sweetheart and very friendly. The breakfast was just OK, food tasted pretty bland but portions were huge. I appreciated the gluten free toasts! The coffee bar was great for grab and go coffee drinks to start the day! As far as hotel restaurant goes, this one was pretty decent!"
"What a great find! This little bistro has it all in my book:A cozy ambiance with a nice patio, a well-designed menu (not too much, not too limited), a decent wine list, and exceptional service. There were 4 of us for dinner. We came early with a reservation in order to have a quiet dinner. Alas: the place was packed and very noisy which made it tough for our hard-of-hearing friend. The meal was wonderful and service was attentive but not overbearing. At our table we had:SalmonLasagneMeatloafChicken cordon bleuMy lasagne was delicious - and very rich. Two portions for me and it was (dare I say it?) even better the next day...Everyone raved at the table about their meals. I have only one comment which was concerning bread: the menu asks you request bread, which we did. I just wasn't expecting pretzel rolls in a more upscale restaurant with french undertones. A very trivial complaint (you can tell I had to work hard to find anything to gripe about!)Another nice note: I noticed a great Happy Hour! So, naturally I'll be back for that!I highly recommend this bistro for either a casual, but hearty meal or a special occasion meal! A wonderful addition to the West Valley."
"Great ambiance! Very open and upscale. Plenty of parking around (free street parking on Sundays). They had a good crowd but I was still able to be seated right away. The mimosas looked heavenly. I went with the protein açaí bowl with a side of chicken sausage. Everything was delicious and under $20 total. There are still plenty of items on the menu I'd like to try. Service was pleasant and efficient. I really enjoyed my meal!"
"Hubs and I stopped in here for lunch. The Phoenician is a beautiful hotel with a great course. There is a parking garage with a beautiful walk to The Tavern. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and there wasn't a wait when we stopped in. We ordered the classic Tavern burger, shrimp stuffed rigatoni and Mac n cheese. The burger was cooked perfectly and was super juicy. The tots were crispy and seasoned well. The shrimp stuffed rigatoni was full of flavor with plenty of shrimp stuffed into the pasta and crab on top. The Mac n cheese was nothing special but the kids enjoyed the leftovers lolOur server was so sweet and efficient. I don't remember his name but it started with an M. The place was clean, food tasted great only downside is prices are on the high side. Overall a nice spot for a meal."
"Is it the best bakery in Phoenix as several articles have highlighted? I don't quiet think so, but it is a good one. Ordered the following things (in order of best to least): bacon and egg + chicken pot pie mini pies, strawberry croissant (vegan), almond croissant. I definitely recommend the first three, but the almond croissant I've had better. Big plus to staff who was super friendly. Definitely would try one of their other locations to see if there's anything different."
"Cute, solid breakfast/brunch spot in Old Town. There are 3-4 street parking spots in front of the restaurant, and plenty of free street parking around. We came on a Sunday around 12:30pm and waited 20 minutes after we got on the waitlist. Not bad! It was definitely very lively and there was a musician playing, although, I couldn't hear him over the chatter and buzz. I could barely hear my friend sitting across from me! The seating is cozy, particularly where we were sitting, alongside the wall to the bathroom. Service was prompt, which is great! Although it seems trivial, I was turned off by the plastic cups they served water in. For a nice Scottsdale restaurant, I can't get a glass? Also not eco-friendly/cost effective. We ordered the summer special, Pina colada pancakes ($17) and the cinnamon roll pancakes ($17). We paired them with the cranberry-lime mimosa ($12) and screwdriver ($12). Our order came out within 15 minutes. The pancakes were smaller in diameter than the average Ihop pancake. The pina colada pancakes definitely tasted like a pina colada and I appreciated the toasted coconut on each pancake. No complaints as to the cinnamon roll pancake either."
"I came here for brunch with some friends and had an enjoyable time out on the patio. The Herb Box is a full-service catering company that has a couple of eateries in Scottsdale. This location is in Old Town off 5th Ave near the canal. The setting was perfect and we all enjoyed our food. We were impressed with both the presentation of the plates and the quality of the ingredients. While my friends ordered breakfast for their meals, I ordered lunch and got the Lentil Cauliflower Bowl with Grilled Chicken. Lentils and cauliflower are some of my favorite foods to order. I am always looking for new ways to prepare these items and this bowl gave me some ideas. Espresso Martinis are a big thing these days and sounded like a good choice for a brunch drink. The menu is quite extensive with shared plates, breakfast, healthy salads, sandwiches and desserts. The Herb Box is a nice spot for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch.Reservations can be made on OpenTable."
"They made a bunch of menu changes last time we went and the quality of the burger went way down hill as of a couple months ago. I used to crave this spot and now it's an easy pass for me and quality no longer matches the price point ."
"Had dinner here on a Sunday evening. When entering, tell the gate security you have a reservation for Needle Rock.Great atmosphere (I mean it is a country club) - they had their patio doors wide open with plenty of spaced out tables and a plethora of space heaters. We were told a few things were unavailable on the menu, which was quite understandable since we were there at the end of the day (for future reference, will try the shishito peppers and millionaire burger). We had the short rib queso fondue, gluten free Picasso pizza, wood-grilled salmon, and a bottle of wine. There was a generous serving of the fondue alongside tortilla chips + pork cracklings, the latter of which was an interesting but yummy dipping choice. The pizza was tasty, plenty of toppings, and the gluten-free crust was truly divine!! The salmon was good, a tad dry and felt like needed more seasoning, but the bed of lentils it sat on were nicely seasoned.I missed the name of our waitress, but she was so friendly and patient with us - our glasses were never empty. Unfortunately, we had late reservations so the sun had already set and we could not see the beautiful scenery. Hope to be back with an earlier reservation."
"The vegan Campanella is my new favorite pasta dish. Probably have thought about it on a daily basis since going so... if y'all wanna drop me the recipe to try to copy it since I live out of state Service was great, decor is cute, not too busy on a Saturday evening around 6pm. Parking is a little wonky but they offer valet, if you're now down to valet there's a parking lot next door it's just a bit of a walk."

"Restaurant is located inside Encaterra Country Club but open to public. Beautiful space as you would expect at a Country Club. Pretty bougie crowd, not a lot of diversity down here!!!! Note picture of dress code card you are handed when you drive through club gate. My lunch partner was asked at door to put on a provided button up shirt, presumably because it didn't meet the dress code. There were many ladies coming in off the golf course with sleeveless shirts on exactly like my lunch partner, so I think it was her Harley tattoos that offended, not her shirt. Beware.Food was really good!!! I had the Cobb Salad with an added piece of salmon that was grilled perfectly. Traditional Cobb with all the fixings. They were out of their French Dip sandwich, ran out of iced tea half way through our meal, and forgot our coffee with this wonderful little flourless chocolate tart. First two issues are mgmt's problem, so won't ding or server. Other than forgetting our coffee's, rest of service was very well done. Loved the food, just wish the dress code thingy wasn't so arbitrary, but they were nice about it ... and it is a semi-private club so they get to do what they want. $30-50 per person with appetizers, entree, and dessert. Parking free in the club lot"
"The wings at this place are by far the best in Goodyear. They can't be beaten when it comes to traditional wings, and the service is good as well. Prices are great!"
"Absolutely beautiful placeeeeee! It's dark with just enough lighting to create the MOST cozy ambiance. I LOVE IT. I'm kind of obsessed with it actually haha! It truly creates such a fun vibe. I appreciate greatly that it's not a huge venue, packed with tons of people. Every time I have gone, the service is superb, the drinks are AMAZING and the food is delicious! Some of my recommendations/favorites of mine are the Hurricane Fires, Disco Fries, Spicy Chicken Bao Buns and the Claypot Wings (TRY THE WINGS). Enjoy my fellow foodies and KEEP fooding."
"Food was good. Service was awful. Happy hour is not great but you can't beat the view so I guess that's the $10 "happy hour" burger. I can't even begin about the service, other than our waitress forgot everything and should right things down. No time management with her . View is great so I'm sure we'll give it another shot. Hopefully they get the happy hour figured out."
"First time at the Collins at this location. Stopped by for happy hour but decided to have a quick pre-concert dinner. Bar was pretty noisy but dinning area was pleasant. Service was excellent. Shared a Bacon & Brussel Sprout appetizer. Grilled Chicken and Brie Sandwich with Fries was the dinner entree. Have never been disappointed at the Collins."
"We had a great time here! The location is close to parking garages and a great place to go before a show at Arizona Financial Theater! We had a group of 6 and were sat very quickly. The server came over quickly and was attentive. The restaurant was pretty empty but that might be just because it was a Tuesday! I ordered white wine and the vodka penne! It was so good! My friends had the classic burger and raves about it! Definitely want to come back!(Note: we all ate so quick that we forgot to take pictures!)"
"I got the pork torta. Was weird to have a sauce poured over it considering it's a sandwich and wouldn't have been able to pick it up to eat so used a fork a d knife. Ended up not eating the bread as the sauce made it soggy and I didn't care for it. The pork was very good spicy and delicious. The other item we ordered were ok as wellThe chips that came were very good. The Salsas were super good. The spicy one was my favorite. We wanted to go the the Louisiana place but it was busy so went here instead. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. The sangria was delicious and stronger than I expected."
"7 years since the last review. I did not ever live here yet!Hillside Spot has consistently been the best place to eat for us over the last 7 years! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have not found one thing wrong, or lacking in any way with any of the meals we were served. My favorite is the 50/50. I like to get a sandwich or salad with whatever soup they are serving that month. Again have always been impressed with whatever the soup is and adding a salad or sandwich to the makes it just the right amount of food. I am diabetic and my hubby is pre-diabetic, so the most wonderful thing for us is that we can order great-tasting food and not worry about our blood sugars getting out of control. Yes, we try to stay away from fries, chips, etc but Hillside offers fruit or salad as great alternative sides to choose from. Although their fries are delicious, we will share them once in a while. Choices! That is what we love most about Hillside Spot.Service is always good. I like that they hover on the periphery and are not interrupting with questions, but are there when needed. Finally the beer list. The beer selection is very good. Hubby likes to have one once in a while and the selection is great. Even have Wren House!"
