It's just a small place so good to get to go! I got a salt bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. I will say it is not the prettiest bagel I've seen in my life, but wow it was very very delicious! Good amount of salt, cream cheese had the perfect amount of veggie. Nice and fluffy, would definitely come back!"

"Better come hungry! I had the Tony full size for lunch and damn near couldn't eat dinner that night. This is coming from a guy who has never missed a meal :) Anyhow this little hole in the wall place has been here for like 42+ years. I found it on Yelp and figured let's see if it's everything it's cracked up to be. It's not too far from GCU (Grand Canyon University) and I had some time to kill so I went in for lunch. Nice older gal was running the meat slicer and I believe it was her son or a family member of some sort who took my order.Sure enough it's everything I thought it would be and then some! Sandwich ingredients were as fresh as I've ever had. Bread was perfect. Service was friendly and polite. I sat in the establishment and ate at one of their little tables. Patron after patron walked in and many of them the staff knew by name which I thought was indicative of how old school and well known the place is around the locals Yelp community.Anyhow great place and my only suggestion is if you are not starving consider the half. As I walked out I heard someone ordering a half sandwich and I was thinking darn I should have done that and then I would have had room for the cannoli!"

I'm a creature of habit: Everything bagel with egg and cheddar cheese. It's plenty big enough without anything else, though sometimes I'll tack on some bacon. Pair it with a cup of hot coffee, and you have yourself a mobile breakfast of champions. Always wrapped up in foil to keep it piping up. The quality is so consistent. The guys behind the counter are friendly and remind me of a New York deli. The ambiance is a diner vibe, with natural light and a bustling atmosphere. The patio is lively with plenty of folks hanging out, sometimes with their dogs, and always with lots of conversation and laughter on faces. We tried the Drunken Philly and the Third DUI - the Third DUI was really really delicious, the Philly had a little too many mushrooms on it for my taste and could maybe use some sort of sauce but still good. It's hard to come here and not order the whole menu or take home a whole shopping cart of ingredients or sweets! The go to is easy - The Italian Combo Sub! The bread is so fresh and it's the perfectly sliced and portioned sun of meats, veggies and condiments. I've had it picked up for lunch and fresh - both are exceptional. My biggest pet peeve with subs is sogginess - nothing to worry about here if you can't dine in. They also serve Pizza which is also, guess, so good! It tastes lite and fresh... and like I can eat a whole one by myself and still feel perfectly okay. The owner is so grateful and kind. I waited my whole pregnancy for an Italian sub and wanted to come here! He was very appreciative and just speaks to the hospitality of this location. Please try and support this amazing spot! You pay and your food is delivered to your table. You get a cup to help yourself if having a soft drink. Order arrives and friend says, the portions are not as big as other local delis. Sandwich was respectable in portion size. Prices were pretty much on par so no complaints on value. Friend paid for lunch anyway.Pastrami was tasty, however it was not hot and no mustard. Hmm, not sure if that is considered Chicago Style? Apparently, that is not the case. Mustard and napkins are at the counter.Service was great at the service counter. After your order is delivered, you are on your own. If in the area, would try Goldman's again. Hard to score a restaurant based upon one meal experience. Place is not a Chompies, Scott's Generations or Miracle Mile Deli; but those are not Chicago Style Delis."

"This location was across from the hotel i was staying in. I got the build your own sandwich. You walk in and order inside at the front or can order ahead. If you need help ordering on the tablet the employees were helpful. Sandwich came out fast and it was all really good - i ordered turkey and veggies of my choice on a croissant. My boss ordered a sandwich with chipotle mayo and she said it was also very good. We sat inside but there was outdoor seating also and plenty of covered and uncovered parking. The one here is at Metro Center, with limited parking in the lot, the adjacent mall parking is relatively close, if you don't mind navigating the population of homeless camped out back. JD is huge cafeteria style deli. Order at the front left and get your tray to grab a salad and remember to leave your number visible to receive your sandwiches. The one-trip salad bar is big enough. We all had a combo of sandwich and salad bar. The bar was sufficiently stocked with veggie items and cold salads, toppings etc. they have an ice cream station too that is complimentary. Grab a seat and wait for your sandwich to arrive. Staff visit to see if you have what you need. Very nice and quick. The bathroom code is at the top of the receipt if you need it. Plenty of space for when it gets crowded."
