The prices of this place are pretty hard to beat. I'm not gonna lie. We ordered 5 things, and it all came out to $19.25. The kimbap was ok, the rice noodles weren't good if I'm gonna be honest, the pan-fried noodles were good, the buns were ok, the spam and egg scallion pancake was delicious! The service was pretty quick. We ordered to go. There is very limited seating. It's more of a grab and go kind of place, so set your expectations low in that department. All in all, you get what you pay for.

Always a pleasure to stop into this family owned business to grab a quick lunch or their yummy egg waffle dessert (freshly made). They had ready to made food in the warmer, on display, in the fridge, or boas! But they do sell out of boas by lunch time. They also have dumplings cooked to order and kimbap made to order. (Less than 10 mins) The owner is extremely sweet! Bring cash! There is seating, so its perfect for a stop in for a quick food boost. I recommend this place for a chinatown food tour (quick & convenient)

I've been here a couple times and the people are always very nice! The place is no-frills but offers a great variety of snack and beverage items, including bubble waffles, bubble tea, smoothies, meat/vegetable-filled buns, takoyaki, rice cakes, scallion pancakes, and kimbap for really affordable prices. I tried the rice noodle w/ veggie before, but the sauce flavor could use an extra oomph. I recommend the scallion pancakes (super crispy), rice cakes (which kinda remind me of tteokbokki) w/ extra sauce, and the tofu pudding w/ boba. The tofu is fresh, custard-y and practically melts in your mouth. The boba has its own sweetness to it which goes hand in hand with the delicate sweetness of the ginger sauce. A satisfying but mostly healthy dessert for $3.50! Most items are in the $2-5 range btw! Not bad for 2024.

Cash only. Reasonable prices. Something was off about the wide rice noodles that I liked getting here before. It was fine. Just maybe had one too many times and it goes better w beef if you are a carnivore- the traditional way it is prepared.A good assortment of other items such as a variety of bun combinations, some Japanese delicacies like takoyaki etc.

The restaurant is a nice snack place if you want a quick snack. The most popular dishes are the bubble waffles and noodles but they have many options to choose from like scallion pancakes and rice noodles. The people that work there are kind and wait time for food is usually less than 5 minutes.

Quite possibly my favorite Chinese snack place. The rice noodles against the window are always my quick go-to. Egg waffles here are delicious and popular. Selling at $4 each.Got their takoyaki for the first time and no regrets. 6 plump whole pillows of goodness with an outer layer of crisp topped with sweet and savory sauce for $5. The inside has a little piece of octopus and plenty of cabbage. Strongly recommend! They take venmo!

Omgsh, legit Hong Kong Street food in Philly? I can't believe my luck! The qq egg waffle is so nostalgic for me, so wonderfully moist on the inside, yet delightfully crispy on the outside! I love that they have so many flavors to choose from, and it is made fresh in front of you! The Takoyaki was a lil too moist inside for my liking but I understand that's my own personal preference since the Japanese also cook it this way in Tokyo. Can't wait to come back!

Rice rolls not as soft as i hoped for. Tea took some time to make. I guess they don't have them made in advance .

This is rapidly becoming my favorite go to spot for eggy-waffles in all of Chinatown, partly because they sell it for just $2.50 and there's only one waffle machine, making the wait seem a little bit more magical and slows down your daily grind. CASH ONLYMust get: eggy waffles, takoyaki (takes 15 min)Meh: curry fish balls, pork/veggie buns (beware of the rice paper)Missed: noodlesWhen you arrive, it's clear that this little store has something for everything, and it's all within $2-4. My favorite of course, is the eggy-waffles that is made right in front of you with the store's secret batter. The magic of the waffle is not just the fact it's made fresh, but it forces you to take the time and wait patiently as the batter sizzles and forms into hot little balls of magic that's sweet on the tongue, but not overwhelming. It's an amazing snack to devour solo or share with friends. The first time I had it, it was perfection, the second time felt a little less cooked.Yummy Yummy's next best item is the takoyaki, and I highly recommend eating it while it's still piping hot and inhaling as you eat. I like how the bonito flakes dance around and I was glad that the balls weren't too oversaturated with the mayo-sauce.Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the pork buns, despite it's $0.90 price, as there was just not enough filling. The curry fish balls were good and juicy, but a little on the pricier side for just 4.At the end of the day, the eggy waffle stole the show and I highly recommend visiting this little shop.
