This place was SOOO cute. The stairs down to the bathroom were plastered with dog and cat cartoons. These people love tacos ramen dogs and cats. Who says these things shouldn't go together???The food was very good. We both got ramen. Though admittedly I don't remember which is one, only that I added corn. My husband got the coffee boba with bubbles and coffee jellies and that was interesting. The waitress was super nice. I fully recommend this restaurant unless you have a mobility problem... Because the bathroom is downstairs and you WILL have to pee after boba and ramen. Maybe get the taco if you have to find other pee arrangements?

Randomly popped into Taco & Ramen because I heard they had some good eats. Great spot for a quick bite. Had a few shrimp tacos and eggrolls. Taco was really a highlight. Spicy Mayo brought everything together.Service was excellent. Had a good time chatting with servers. I'll have to drop back in for some ramen.

First off those working here are SUPER NICE!!!!! They gave my toddler a pack of chocolates with stickers before we left :)The food was awesome! First time trying ramen and I loved it... it's a cute cozy place on south street in Philly. I tried the Masu I think that's what it's called. Pork broth. It was good, even my toddler enjoyed it.

I obviously came here because I was craving falafel & borscht....I kid, I kid. But one thing I'm not kidding about is tacos and ramen being among two of my favorite food dishes ever, so when I saw them combined in one restaurant I was instantly intrigued and ready to indulge. Still I had my uncertainities when it came to trying to figure out if this would be a successful fusion of the two, or a fusion confusion that failed while trying to bank on putting two viral foods together. But after first bite I'm happy to call this one a winner! With tacos and ramen you definitely expect to see a lot of meat-heavy items on the menu, and their were indeed some notable staples. But it was also good to see a plentiful assortment of vegan and vegetarian options making a good spot to share with thse friends. I also appreciated that tacos could be ordered by the single or trio, making it easy to combo up with a bowl of ramen to satisfy your curiosity of both. For tacos, a birria special and a grilled chicken taco were the only familiar options that you'd expect to see. But I appreciated the Asian fusion of the shrimp tempura taco and loved that it was the vegetarian tacos that really shined and the fried zucchini and mushroom taco that I ordered was a serious banger! For ramen, I was craving something familiar with an extra kick, and the spicy kimchi ramen with charsu roast pork, a seasoned boiled egg and all the veggies delivered that and then some! T & R also has bubble tea on the menu, and the honeydew option was the perfect thing to wash it down with. Toss in the usual Asian apps like takoyaki and gyoza, and interesting options like an Italian egg roll with all the hoagie fillings, and you have plenty to enjoy!

Really enjoyed my meal here with friends. We came on a Monday around 6/6:30. This was a perfect time because we were able to grab a table. By 7 there was a 30 minute wait! I love that this place has a ton of vegan/vegetarian options while also catering to meat eaters. I ordered the vegetarian spicy ramen and an almond milk bubble tea. My friend ended up getting some tacos and my husband also got ramen. The food came out quickly and the service was attentive and friendly. They were very accomodating considering my friend had a wheelchair. My ramen was delicious and I like that they give you condiments to customize your spicy level. I will definitely be back (especially if i need a meal before going to the TLA down the block).

Found this place by accident looking for food near the TLA on south street. They were able to seat three right away even though it's a relatively small space inside. Service was great and the food was too. I got the shrimp tempura taco (which is recommended on the menu and I can see why - would definitely go back for more), the spicy kimchi ramen - good broth and lots of accoutrements and the table shared and order of takoyaki. Would definitely go back!

Service was kind and prompt.I think the current online ratings are overstating this place, and likely because they have both Mexican and Japanese. Raters reward variety. The shrimp tempura tacos were good. The shrimp could have been crunchier. But the composition was good with the toppings and spicy mayo. The Mayu Ramen was OK, but not incredible. I found the broth too be flavorful, but not intensely so. The charsiu pork was a bit chewy and not perfectly tender.Overall, I think the food is good, but not incredible. If you want to be able to order both Mexican and Japanese, this is not a bad choice.

The thing I appreciate most about Taco & Ramen is that it has something for most people: soup, salad, tacos, ramen, all with vegetarian and some vegan options. We started with the Italian Egg Roll (homemade Italian hoagie egg roll with spicy mayo), which was interesting and tasty.I greatly enjoyed the Tofu & Eggplant Taco (soft flour tortilla, fried tofu, fried eggplant, fresh salsa, red cabbage, sweet onion sauce, cilantro, vegan spicy mayo). My fellow diner wished the Shrimp Tempura Taco (soft corn tortilla, fried shrimp tempura, fresh salsa, red cabbage, cilantro, eel sauce, spicy mayo) had a bit more zing. Overall, nice taco offerings, but not the best tacos you're going to get in the city.Likewise with the ramen: I enjoyed the Spicy Kimchi Ramen (spicy miso and pork bone broth, kimchi, roasted pork (chashu), bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, chopped scallion, sesame seeds, seasoned boiled egg), especially the seasoned egg, which they nailed (not always a given at ramen shops!) and the chashu and kimchi was delicious, but I wanted it to be spicier (yes, I added the spicy oil, etc.). My fellow diner enjoyed the Tan Tan Ramen (spicy pork broth with miso sesame paste, spicy organic ground beef, bean sprouts, bok choy, sesame seeds, chopped scallion, seasoned boiled egg), but thought the beef overpowered the bowl. Overall, nice ramen offerings, but not the best ramen you're going to get in the city. That said, service was lovely and prompt.

The ramen was okay but disappointing. There were far too many scallions. I could barely take a bite without a mouthful of them. It was like an equal amount of scallions as there were noodles. It made the experience less enjoyable. The broth was okay. The whole dish felt incomplete like it was missing something. The tacos I had were pretty good though. I had the eggplant & mushroom taco and the shrimp tempura taco.I'm unlikely to come back for the Ramen.

Small cute place on South Street offering two completely different tastes - as can be seen by its name We both went with Ramen. They were similar as to what was in them (pork - bean sprouts etc) but the broths and some minor items were different. One broth was pork, the other chicken and the tastes were different as well as very good. There are a choice of 6 ramens with the last two noted as spicy. We had #'s 3 & 4. With a very good hot Honey Citrus & Ginger Tea and a soda the bill before tax and tip was around $33.00. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
