Oh Brother Philly

I recently visited Phila and based on reviews, we brought the kids to "Oh Brother". The place did not disappoint!!! The staff were courteous, prices were decent and the food was phenomenal. Those sandwiches were monsters. We all had a different Philly cheesteak with one large fry and milkshakes. And We were stuffed. We'll definitely recommend this place.

The food was amazing And they have unique menu options . The mac & cheese burger with the mac & cheese bun fell apart, but it still tasted really good and cheesesteak is amazing & the peanut butter and jelly milkshake was spot on We went to the location in Northeast Philadelphia since it doesn't show that option or location on the map yet.

Price: (4/5) Prices are average for the area.Food: (4/5) I really enjoyed my cheesesteaks. I thought the meat was tender and there was enough cheese. I do which there was a little more flavor in the meat, but this in the top picks for me for cheesesteaks. We got ours cut in thirds but you can get the normal halves.Service: (5/5) You can order ahead and food comes out fast.

Was in the area on a guys trip by Penn's landing and stopped by for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the seeded coop with a side of fries and a canned iced tea. Service was quick and we managed to grab a table as it was starting to get filled up (1pm ish). Cheesesteak came out as described and got along with the fries. Overall it was a decent cheesesteak but nothing spectacular.

Oh boy, or should I say oh Brother?! I think we might actually have found something here. In this city who's very much synonymous with the beloved cheesesteak, I have seldom found one that I've felt was worth going back to. After trying maybe close to a dozen of the highest rated spots over the years, I've never really been impressed. Until now....Oh Brother is really good, period. Huge soft yet crispy roll, generous well seasoned meat, melty whiz. It sounds simple, but others just don't get it right. In a sea of cheesesteak offerings, oh brother might just be the best. With that being said, the truffle fries are simply phenomenal. Extra crispy, drizzled with truffle oil, and absolutely loaded with Parmesan cheese. This even supplanted the cheesesteak on the satisfaction meter. Oh Brother is top tier. You'd be hard pressed to find a better Philly in the city. If you do, please do tell!

We were in Philly for a day and ofcourse our #1 want was to try a Philly cheesesteak!! After researching I narrowed it down to 3 locations, "oh brother" being one of them. while walking around Philly, we asked locals for their suggestions and everyone said "oh brother" soooooo here we go with our thoughts ! Ambiance was okay, but it was REALLY hot in there .. Service, you go to the counter and place your order so you don't really get the sit down restaurant experience (which is completely fine, I'm simply adding that so you know what to expect) & now the food . We loved it , we cannot wait to go back to try more things cause they have other Philly cheesesteak options ! Definitely suggest you to make this a stop while in Philly !

This was suggested to me from a few locals after I told them I wanted an authentic non-touristy cheese steak before I headed back to S. CA. This did not disappoint. The seeded bread and added sweet peppers with the Cooper's sharp cheese was what made the difference, not to mention the shaved ribeye and fried onions.The fries were also outstanding. I'm glad that I was able to sign this off of my small foodie bucket list.

First stop a Philly in Philly! This place was a vibe with great authentic Philly food. I went to this local Philly restaurant with family. I ordered a regular Philly while my family ordered an A-1 Philly and an avocado burger. Once your order is placed they will bring the food right out to you. Our order came out hot and ready to eat. I was so pleased with my decision of getting a regular Philly. It did not disappoint one bit. The portions were huge. My family enjoyed their meals, but my brother regretted not getting the Philly. The sides we had were cooked to perfection fried pickles and crispy sweet potato fries. I without a doubt would return to Oh Brother Philly.

Ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions, peppers and whiz. Bang for your buck. Very meaty and cheesy! The roll was a little too crunchy for my taste. Plenty of seating. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in town. They make a very good cheesesteak!

I was in town for wrestlemania and this was the last place I ate. Up to this point for hadn't gone great, but this was a refreshing meal from the last few days.I finally got a really good cheesesteak! It was very good as we're the fried pickles. The chicken sandwich was tasty too.The people that work here are really nice too which is refreshing.The only negative is the limited seating. It's a small place. But at least it's in a good area and very close to the liberty Bell area.
