I rarely ever order Chinese takeout but pregnancy cravings were calling and I found myself doing a deep search online for a decent place to order from. This takeout restaurant was one of the most highly reviewed and I am so glad I tried it. As recommended by other reviewers, I ordered the fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice platter and the General Tso's chicken. Having had these dishes at popular dine-in Chinese restaurants, I was really impressed with the food here. I would go as far as to say that the wings and General Tso's chicken tasted even better than at some of the dine-in restaurants! The best part is everything was seasoned well but not too salty and not too greasy overall. The prices were so reasonable, the service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh and piping hot. Definitely one of the best American Chinese food I've had in a long time.

They say you should never judge a book by its cover, and as an English teacher you'd think I'd respect the old adage, but after living in Point Breeze for 10+ years I finally tried the BEST Chinese takeout in the Breeze, maybe the city. It's the little things: green beans and carrots in the Hot and Sour Soup, nice, fried orange rind in the General Taos, at a takeout joint?! Homemade fried chili flake sauce with the dumplings, word. They're on Grubhub, do it.

Ordered pickup from here for the first time on Christmas. We called around 6pm and they said 50 minutes and our food was ready when we arrived exactly 50 minutes later. (In hindsight, since it did not seem particularly busy, they may have actually said *15* minutes ... but the food was all hot when we got it home so I think we were right?) They are cash only, but we had enough on us. They do have an ATM inside if you forget or don't realize it when you order. We ordered wonton soup, hot and sour soup, fried wontons, beef and broccoli, and a general Tso's combo with veggie fried rice. We also ordered a spring roll, but they gave us an extra egg roll instead. All together it was $28.All of the food was delicious. It may be worth noting the fried wontons are the kind with meat inside, not the cheese kind/crab rangoons. Some places say "fried wonton" and you get cheese wontons, so we were expecting that, but the meat ones were tasty anyway and I'm glad that's what we got! Just good to know for next time. Everything had amazing flavor and good portion sizes. This place lives up to the hype of having the best Chinese in the Breeze.

Finally found a Chinese place with consistently delicious food. Do not let the appearance of the outside fool you! Inside is clean and smells nice (unlike most Chinese places) you can even see how clean the kitchen is from the counter. The house mi fun and dumplings are the best I've had.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had in Philly. A little hole in the wall that has much better food than places I've ordered on from grubhub. Great prices too

It's been awhile since I had really good Chinese food as we currently live in Austin. We picked an upcoming neighborhood to VRBO in (actually a great neighborhood) and was looking for some Chinese food (currently live in Austin which is definitely not known for good Chinese food. We found this place through Yelp and was pleasantly surprised. The owners are super friendly and operate in a bit of a "hole in the wall". The food was good and the service was great. We tried several dishes and was happy with each one. The fried dumplings are pretty special!! I'd recommend this place if you are in the Newbold neighborhood of South Philly. It's definitely worth it! Reminds me of the really good NYC cheap Chinese places (used to live there and frequent often).
