Ordered pickup from here on a Friday night. We placed the order directly through the website and picked it up, so no GrubHub fees. When we picked up our order, someone else had gotten there before us and they were just barely inside the front door with an employee who handed them their food. As they left, we stepped inside and the cashier stepped in front of us to turn a light on then immediately turned her back on us and headed to the back of the restaurant. Nobody else was here and it was clear we were customers, not a delivery service, so I thought that was rude. She could have acknowledged us. We picked up our order and walked back home.The food was hit or miss:Steamed veggie dumplings were super mushy. It tasted like it was filled with a paste of some kind instead of fresh vegetables. Would not order again or recommend.Wonton soup that came with husband's General Tso combo, but was for me, seemed like it lacked a little flavor? I've only had wonton soup for the first time recently and thought it was amazing and wanted to try it again, but this left me thinking maybe I was mistaken...Crab Rangoons were great with the sweet/sour sauce. I liked that the sauce was thick, not super runny.Husband's General Tso chicken with fried rice was exactly what you'd want/expect. It wasn't spicy at all (which is how I like it anyway).I tried Moo Shu pork for my meal. I'd never had it before. The pork/vegetable part was delicious but I wasn't a fan of the sauce and the pancakes were soooo thin it was impossible to eat it like how the internet said (put some rice/filling/sauce in a pancake, roll it up, and eat). The pancakes fell apart. I ended up just eating it over the rice with a little sauce.Overall, between the service received at pickup and the quality of super basic menu items being hit or miss, I wouldn't order from here again.

I went tonight to grab soup for my girlfriend who was sick and also some for myself. I got both Wonton and Chicken rice soup. Both were really good. Broth was tasty but not salty, the wantons were extremely flavorful and not rubbery. The chicken soup had white meat chicken, also tasted flavorful but not salty. First time here and I'd go back ! Good simple soup is hard to find, and it was inexpensive which is rare these days :)

Four stars just for overall value. Stopped in for a quick lunch, and for $8, I had a perfectly Americanized combo of sweet and sour chicken, white rice and a fried vegetable egg roll. I liked that they did not pour the sauce over everything, so I could dip each chicken piece individually. They had chunked up onions (whew, I could pick them off easily) and green peppers alongside the main dish. Service was fast, but expect minimal communication. Not a whole lot of love and laughter in this place - they want you in and out.Conveniently located just steps away from the 9th / 10th and Locust PATCO stop.The only downside to the experience was that on a chilly day, every time someone opened the door, the freezing cold air wafted in. A little curtain does nothing to protect the diners from the temperatures. Most of us who had to sit near the door wore our coats. Lesson learned - sit away from the front door if it's cold!

I came here after hearing one of my colleagues recommendation of this small business and I'm glad to say it did not disappoint. I'm always craving for affordable sushi near my place in center city and would always stop by this restaurant for some good quality sushi. Most of the sushi around center city has been getting more and more expensive and this restaurant provides a pretty good deal with their all day 3 roll for only 16.5 or their lunch special 3 roll for 13.35 or 2 roll for 11.25 all coming with a side of soup or salad. One of my favorite rolls there is the shrimp tempura roll the shrimp is always crispy and delicious with creamy avocado always my to go lunch order. I also appreciate their wide variety of Asian cuisine on there menu from sushi to Chinese dishes all exceptionally cheap and under 15 dollars with big portions. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for good Chinese food or sushi and support this small
