Don't go here. Food was overhyped and disappointing. It's overpriced and wasn't good.

To start, this place is a mom and pop business so don't expect it to be a Starr restaurant. The place doesn't look very inviting and it could use something remodeling. The tables were dirty but my food came on a tray so i didn't feel too uncomfortable.I ordered the veggie samosa since they didn't have any made with meat. It was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The sauces complimented the samosas perfectly. The green sauce had a kick to it and the red sauce was a little thicker and also sweet and tangy.I ordered the curry goat with saag and tofu. The entree came with a side salad and naan. Everything was perfectly seasoned and spicy just how I like it. The goat was tender and naan was fluffy and light. They have a whole fridge of desserts that I'll have to try next time.

Ordered takeout. Got a papri chaat, chicken tikka masala, and a palak paneer. Papri chaat was pretty good. The crunchy bits were still crunchy despite it sitting in the chutney. The palak paneer was pretty good as well, no complaints. The chicken tikka masala however was just a tad too salty. Unfortunately, I did not know that rice was NOT included in the meal so we didn't really have anything to help with the saltiness. Ended up with lots of it leftover. To be quite honest, not the best takeout experience. The food is decent so if I'm craving some chaat and I'm in the area, I might grab some to go.

There is limited street parking and seating available. When you walk in there are refrigerated cases with all sorts of beautiful and colorful desserts. You also get a whiff of Indian spices because there is food available too. Homemade meals like biriyani and different types of curries are available. There's also snacks, like pakora (peppers dipped in batter and fried - yummmm), and samosas. However the real reason I LOVE this place is the Indian desserts and snacks! My favorites : Laddu and Gulab Jamun. I gave it four stars because I wish it was a little tidier and cleaner but i dont feel that impacts the quality of the food - just the dining in experience. I will be back for more take out though. Quality indian desserts and snacks at a reasonable price

I tried the chicken Tikka masala since it was hyped up and it was good. The lamb curry was ok but it's probably cuz I couldn't tell if it tasted like lamb or goat (whatever I'm not refined). As a Yelper mentioned - no rice unless you order it separately. Only reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is that they charge you $4.00 for a box of rice (gasp)! My cheap budgeted dinner of $25.00 cost me $33.00 after 2 boxes of rice. Order wisely!

Amazing Indian food in NE Philladelphia. Kind of slow, but good food comes with patience.

We ordered through doordash. Three curry chicken platters, two chicken tikka masala platters, three plain naan, two garlic naan, and three mango lassi. We sat down to eat and there was no rice anywhere to be found. I have never before in my life had an Indian platter that didn't come with rice. The portion sizes were huge, so I thought the rice might be under the meat and sauce, but it was not there. I called the restaurant and they said their dishes do not come with rice and I had to ask for it separately. What? Whatever. The kids complained that their curry was spicy. I tasted it, and while I thought it was not at all delicious, it really wasn't all that spicy. My brother liked it. My nephew ate his naan and although he claims the chicken tasted good, he still put his chicken away in the fridge after a few bites. My niece just stared at us all for a while then politely asked if she could save all her food for later, which means never. My niece said the mango lassi made her feel nauseated. I don't believe her at all, more like she just didn't like it, but that's what she said. My nephew drank a few sips and asked if he could make himself some tea.I had my one of my favorite foods, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken was quite spicy and it just tasted like salt. There was none of the usual interesting, intricate flavors that are the reason I loooove chicken tikka masala. The garlic naan was ok, but nothing special. I drank some of my niece's lassi, and although I don't care for mango, I didn't hate it. I saved it for later, though.

I have only been ordering Uber eats delivery since the lame Covid-19. However I love this food. I'm Kinda new to Indian food but of the 3/4 places I've tried this is by far the best. Nothing exotic like seafood or prawns but for the simple traditional dishes they haven't disappointed once and I've ordered about 15 times. Highly recommended!

The food is a good flavor - get ready fro some spice! But for a restaurant that's mostly take out, they have to find a better way to package food. MY take out was spilling all over the place - what a mess to eat!
