Updating my previous review to say that they have a vegetarian menu! However, the menu is a little confusing and would benefit from an update. Some of the dishes on the menu have a "V" labeled next to them. We had to ask our waiter what that meant. He said "V" on the menu means the dish vegetarian and is NOT vegan. We saw that these dishes mostly contain eggs. However, there were dishes on the menu that didn't have a "V" that also contained egg? Additionally there were a few dishes on the main menu that fit the vegetarian category and weren't on this separate vegetarian menu. I ordered the curry vegetable casserole from the menu. It was tasty curry with different vegetables mixed in, but portion size felt small for the price of $18. There were only one or two pieces of tofu so it wasn't that filling. I also tried the mango tofu and it was a unique and tasty dish!

Ok let me be up front with ya. I love this place! I eat here regularly. I sometimes forget to post reviews about spots I frequent, don't ask why, cause I can't tell you. Phat has a super cool ambiance like you are on a Malaysian market street. The staff is always super friendly and quick. I've never waited to be waited on, which by the way is my greatest pet peeves. Somebody for gosh sack's acknowledge I'm not invisible. Ok I've digressed. Does NOT happen at phat. Now about the food. First don't be afraid to come here because you haven't had Malaysian food. Just show up and ask your knowledge server what you should order. Then do that! It's going to be good. My favorites are ROTI, it's a bread thingy with a curry dip, don't question just do! When I go with my daughter I have to order two so I get some. Salt and pepper calamari, kerabu prawns, sizzling pepper beef, curry chicken, and salt and pepper lobster tail. It's all just good. Now nothing left for you to do but go get ya some!

This was really excellent, especially the roti canai, CK teow noodles, bbq pork buns, and the ube ice cream. We also really liked the salt & pepper calamari, beef rendang, and pineapple fried rice. This mall in general is kind of incredible. It's enormous and was absolutely packed on a Sunday night. Definitely looking forward to exploring more at some point.

Service was great upon arrival! I was expecting a long wait time but since we came during the week night there wasn't a wait at all. I came here with my family and the food was great! Our waitress was wonderful as well and super attentive to our needs. Everything is delicious!

The inside of the restaurant was lively & the neon lights gave it a casual street food feel. Our server was attentive & made sure we had a seamless dinner. The portions were adequate & we had enough to take home leftovers. My picky mom gave thumbs up - ROTI CANI: This is one of their most popular appetizers. The roti is buttery & flakey. The sauce is a little sweet & coconutty. Just a great bite to stimulate the appetite. You can add on extra pieces of roti for a charge - SALT & PEPPER CALAMARI: Perfectly crispy & chewy - SIZZLING TOFU: Honestly I would come here just for this dish. The egg tofu was silky, savory, & oh so delicious - BEEF RENDANG: I was disappointed in this dish. A lot of the meat cuts had a lot of tendon & fat making it more chewy than my preference. The curry flavor was great but I wish it had more lean tender pieces

The decor and street signs make you feel like you're eating in a side-street somewhere in Southeast Asia. If you go here hungry, don't worry the food comes out fast. Make sure there's an order of their excellent curry laksa... or even 2 orders! Seriously addictive.

service was excellent! food was not that great. the fried rice was very mushy and the taste flat. i was so eager to try the food, was not very impressed!
