"Internet is super fast which is a plus if you like doing work outside. Drinks taste refreshing and come out fast. Servers are nice and friendly. Great place for a lunch break because it's just some stairs down to Whole Foods."

"Great pizza plus good salads and wine. A nice place to share a pie before heading over to see a movie at the Elmwood Theater. I do wish they stayed open until at least 10. 9pm is such an early time to close, and we typically don't eat until 8:30 or so. Nonetheless, this place is cute. If you sit upstairs on a chilly night, it's nice, warm seating due to the heat rising from the pizza oven. We'll definitely be back."
"Quaint vibe with a deep funky bass line. I came in serenades by 80s times from the cure, to Bikini Kill to Joy Division. A Pilsner accompanied the DJ/bartender's excellent choice of tunes. Excellent service. Sitting along the great window and having a mushroom empanada rounded out the evening. Turning a lugubrious day into light and laughter."
"I cannot resist ordering the Hickory or Guaco Bacon Burger whenever we stop by. Paired with a nice cold beer and garlic fries, the whole meal is complete. Nice place to watch hang out and for sports. Order at the counter and a buzzer is given to you to let you know when your food is ready."
"friends and I were walking by heard the music spoke to the security very welcoming invited us to go in have a drink. staff was great and they had a delicious food vendor outside. free entry definitely a place to go hangout with friends and good drinks"
"Live music on Wednesday and great beer! What more do you need?Great place to come and grab a beer, hangout and snack on light bites."
"All the stars for this go towards the unique indoor and outdoor ambiance, plus the very friendly owner/server. My husband and I were in the Half Moon Bay area and he wanted something hearty to eat, so we found this place. We went during lunch so the line was a little long, but I don't remember waiting for a long time. The cashier/owner (I think) was also very friendly and helpful with regards to asking to refill napkins and the like. My husband and I aren't big drinkers, so I don't have much to say about the drinks unfortunately, but I do have some stuff to say about the food. The food is why I have 3 stars. I think my husband liked the burger and fries that he got, but I did not really like the fish tacos and nachos that I ordered. The nachos just probably needed to be reheated to be honest - my husband and I decided to eat outside that day when it was a bit chillier, and so naturally the melted nacho cheese cooled down and I personally don't like cold, melted cheese - so I did not finish that side. The fish meat in the fish tacos did not taste very good. They also included some sauces to go with the taco, but I can only use so much sauce to make up for the unpleasant taste in the fish meat. I would be open to trying something else on their menu though, it's unfortuante that the fish taco did not taste great."
"Came here with some friends on a Monday night and had an absolute blast! The ambience, the service, the food and drinks...100/10! Our group had the best time here. Our server Jose was so sweet (despite us being loud lol) and got us our food and drinks out in no time. I love the mood lighting here; it really adds a winding-down, relaxing vibe to the place. We ordered this chocolate panini with marshmallow whip, which was so freaking good! Overall, I very much enjoyed spending time with my friends here and would recommend this place!"
"Was in town for the playoff game between the Chiefs and Jags and didn't want to miss the game. My cousin, who lives in the area said that Buzzworks was the official Chiefs bar in the Bay. Headed in about halftime while the 49ers were playing. It was completely full of 49er fans and a few people with KC attire. It was standing room only. As soon as that game was over it started clearing out and all the Chiefs decor went up. It was a blast! It felt like being in KC! Buzzworks only serves drinks but there is a pizza stand outside and you can bring food in which is great. I just wish I knew that before hand! The service was friendly but you had to go to the bar to get your drinks.Fortunately the Chiefs won so it was a big celebration!"
"My wife and I love goto the pruneyard for date nights as they have some of the coolest restaurants (Luna, Orchard City Kitchen, ect.) Whenever we goto Luna - there's generally a 20-30+ wait when we arrive so we usually make our way next door to Out of the Barrel for a drink. This place is a small but super cool taproom. There's limited seating inside but the outdoors have plenty of bench and table seating. It's a very friendly and informal environment which makes it very approachable and enjoyable when hanging with great company over a craft beer. Every time I've visited, the bartenders have good and positive energy and will seek you out even through a busy crowd. I used to be an avid beer drinker - primarily IPA's but I have transitioned mainly to wine and whiskey over the last few years. This place sources from independent craft breweries so you'll find some hidden gems that you won't find at your local grocery store. For the wine lovers - while there is a limited selection, I'm just happy that they offer an option for us. They essentially offer one of each type of wine (Pinot noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, ect.) We ordered a bottle of red wine - Cabernet Sauvignon. It was fairly priced and delivered for its priced point. I will point out that red wine typically needs to be stored around 55-65 Fahrenheit. When we got the bottle, the temp felt like it was stored with the beers, just something to note for ownership.Overall, always have a great time here. Perfect place to enjoy company over some drinks and even catch a sports game. They also have craft beer you can purchase to go. Come check this place out!"
"(++++) dog-friendly (+) good for groups (many high tables available) or stools at the bar(+) comfortable setting with 2 clean bathrooms in the back, music isn't loud so u can easily have a conversation with anyone (+) decent rotating beer selection (+) service is fast and friendlyNot sure if they still have Happy Hour? I've been there at 5:30pm and it was full priced beer, another time after 4pm."

I love this lil gem! It's conveniently right above Whole Foods on the Alameda, and with parking onsite. My favorite weekday lunch is grabbing hot bar food downstairs then heading up for a beer at Floodcraft. They offer their own brews as well as a great selection of beers from breweries throughout the Bay Area. Happy hour during the weekdays until 6 too!

I dropped by this place on a whim, actually, I was planning on grabbing some fried chicken but went with a double smash burger instead, and I regret absolutely nothing. The patties were exactly what you might be looking for in a smash patty with just the right amount of thickness and plenty of crispiness and the fries had the perfect ratio of crisp and softness. If you drop by to grab a burger, make sure to buy a side of the pickled radish and the kimchi aioli. The radish will cleanse your palate between bites, and the aioli is perfect for dipping your fries in or you could go crazy and just drown your burger in it lolFinish the meal off with an Oreo shake and I assure you you'll leave a happy camper.

Came by on a nice & sunny afternoon in Mission! Currently you can't sit inside, and they have a table right at the front door that you can order at. Sadly they were out of most of the empanada options, there was only 1 Mushroom Acelga Empanada left and they were out of the beef, chicken, and hame & cheese. Went for the mushroom, and the filling was certainly full of mushroom-y umami flavor! The style they go for is a thicker tougher crust, which personally I like a little less, but that's up to personal preference. I found that most of each bite was crust, whereas I'd prefer a lighter crust that is a base to the filling. The filling was good though and was mostly mushroom which I appreciated. I'd come back again (earlier) to try the other empanada flavors & grab some drinks for a nice day at Dolores!

I love this place! A friend introduced me to it earlier this year, and I've been back so many times since. My go to order is the Double Cheeseburger with a Basket of Onion Rings, but when I'm extra hungry, I'll go for The Big Daddy instead. The wait is never too long, and I like that every order comes with some chips on the side. The burgers are always nice and juicy, and the onion rings are delicious. The sauces here are pretty good too, I always get Honey Mustard.I'll definitely keep coming back for more!

So this place is a little hidden gem In the Jack London area! Such a great staff and so friendly! The bartender was so sweet and you can tell he makes his drinks with pride! This was my husbands and I first time visiting this place! They had been shut down for Covid for a year and a half!! Poor little bar has only been here for a total of 2 years so literally right after Covid began they had to shut down! Now they just re-opened only 3 months ago maybe 4 they said and I'm so happy they are back in business! Honestly it's a place to visit especially if your looking for a pre or post dinner drink! Come check this place out! You will not be disappointed! Only thing is you must show proof of vaccination to come inside! So just be prepared if you do decide to drop by! Enjoy!

Cool place with a small town vibe. Staff was friendly. Good old high calorie comfort food which was amazing on a chilly day. Beer collection is great. We has soups mac n cheese wings and they were all great. Only feedback is the tables had a lot of grime.

"Hidden little gem in a random strip mall next to a daycare center. The taproom is connected to a pizza place. They have a large variety of beer, cider and other drinks. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of sitting room, large tables, lots of TVs. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. Casual setting and great vibes."
"The wings are to die for! I asked them for the best beer and they delivered. It was called "the house".Great experience, staff is very friendly as well. Live music was playing when I got there it felt like I was at music festival or something. I also ordered a pizza the dough reminds me of something I ate in Italy...something similar to Blaze pizza here. I didn't care for the Kalamata olives on my topping.but all else was excellent. Would definitely one back!"
"This is a great little brewery located in Downtown San Jose. They have a pretty large selection of what's on tap as well as serve bottled beers. Not only do they have beers, they also have ciders and kombucha drinks so everyone can pick whatever drink they like. We ordered two sours and one hazy IPA. I'm so sad that I don't remember their names but they were super refreshing on a warm day. I am a fan of sour beers so I was a big fan of the two sours we got to try during our visit. They have a good amount of seating inside but my favorite place to sit is at the outside patio. This patio is actually pretty large and shaded so you don't have to worry about getting hot or burnt on a warm day. There are plenty of trees that will keep you cool. Parking can be a little tricky since this place is located right in the heart of Downtown San Jose. We were lucky enough to snag a parking spot on the street. This breweries patio has gotten to be one of my most favorite patio areas there are just because of the seating and shade. I will definitely be returning here."
"I discovered this hidden gem on a Friday night with my girlfriends. We saw on Yelp that it was newly opened and wanted to give it a try. Tucked away in a quiet residential area, this cozy gastropub offers a variety of comforting Korean food. It reminded me of my drunken college nights in NY's Ktown. Our favorite dish was the tteokbokki. The rice cakes were thick but pillowy. The sauce was rich and flavorful with a bright spicy taste. It was not too sweet or overwhelming. We could definitely have ordered another plate. The corn cheese and army stew were also delicious and comforting. The owner was very welcoming and seemed very passionate about Korean food. The vibes and music are 100%. We will definitely revisit again!"
"This is an unusual little wine tasting bar set inside the beautiful loft home of the owner and winemaker, Monty P. The two story space is in the artist housing colony out by the I-880 bypass in west Oakland, at the foot of Pine Street, called Pacific Cannery Lofts. The beautiful modern unit had been cleared for a special event, an intimate wine drinking party of about 2 -3 dozen people, starting with an intro art class upstairs led by Art a la Cart. http://www.yelp.com/biz/art-a-la-cart-oaklandEarly attendees (about a dozen) didn't do paint by the numbers, but a steep above that, learning to draw a scene, mix basic paints, and finish a small 8 x 11 canvas. Later everyone came downstairs to enjoy the delicious nibbles provided by the middle eastern caterer Faz. They were great, with hummus, olives, chicken satay skewers, and other delights.http://www.yelp.com/biz/faz-restaurant-and-bar-oakland The variety of wines were very good, both white and red from Paulson wineries, and the hosts were very engaging and seasoned entertainers. There was a live acoustic band trio called Melodious Monk ( I get confusedly the actual name because I think of the Jazz pioneer pianist, Thelonius Monk, which their name is a play off of).Good times had by all at this nice special wine tasting get together, an intimate event where art, conversation and wine were shared. The event was organized by the beautiful and effervescent event coordinator, Dominique."
"I have walked by in the past and never dropped in. I decided to visit after being impressed by their Black Lager (at Zachary's pizza), and was glad I did. Surprised too, as I soon realised that the brewer had previously been Linden Street Brewery. I'd have come sooner had I known that.I tried a 6-beer flight, my top 4 ranking being (1) The Abbey (2) New Oakland Glow Pilsener, (3) Zapatos Mexican Lager, and (4) the East Bay Nights Black Lager. The bartender was friendly and informative, she told us a lot about the beers themselves. We'll be back!Suggestions: (1) Indicate outside that this was the Linden Street Brewery, with one of the old signs? (2) Let Amtrak riders know that that there is a brewery nearby. In the unlikely event that an Amtrak train suffers a delay (:=) ."
"Cork'n Bottle have a fantastic selection of beer & alcohol. A tasting room with many many many choices that is dog friendly and open late. It has the perfect dive bar feel to it. But most importantly fantastic customer service. Which is the best reason to come in and spend money. I highly recommend you come here. Especially if you're looking for something specific."
"This place is nice! The interior is what you expect a brewery to look like, which is perfect for me. We had about 4 beers in total and each one was delicious, although my favorite one was the dark lager. I'll be back and with a larger group next time."
"This place is wonderful ! The staff is kind, attentive, and even let the community make art in the walls ! We had an iced mocha and a vanilla latte, the coffee here is amazing!!!!!!! The garlic potatoes are yummy!!! We ate a bacon egg and cheese croissants and they were delicious!!!!! I will for sure return to this place!"
"I suppose most people come here for the beer selection, but as someone who is not well-versed in beer, the highlight for me is the food.I've tried a few of their menu items, including the fried chicken sandwich and the fish and chips. The former is particularly excellent and the quality/flavors are a few notches above typical bar fare. The beer menu is extensive (which is about all I can say about it). The interior is dark and cozy and the service is friendly enough."
"Stopped by for Saturday happy hour for a couple of drinks and found out they serve Tackos food! It was sooooo delicious I ordered the quesadilla and my friend got the tacos! It was reasonably priced and really tasty!"
"I haven't been yet, but sharing this photo of Wednesday night pub trivia. I'm always on the lookout for pub trivia places that aren't the usual spots."
"We just went by and the bar hosting Mississippi Catfish is closed. Hopefully they will pop up again at a new location."
"This place is amazing. Great service, attentive staff, good drinks, good atmosphere. Finally something in this space, which has been doomed before with bad restaurants, might stick around!"
"Out of the Barrel is exactly on the corner of North Santa Cruz and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. For easy and ample parking enter from Los Gatos Saratoga Rd. The beer selection on tap is nothing short of amazing. There is a taste for every palette. Seating is mainly outdoors. There are a few seats indoors. Seating is attractive and comfortable. You drink FROM a barrel and ON a barrel!! It's okay to bring food in to enjoy with your beer. I think they sell a few food items, but it is absolutely not a restaurant. It's an extremely friendly interactive environment...mostly male, but all ages and genders can have an enjoyable time drinking delicious beer on this patio."
"Formally Radio Bar, I'm loving the make over of this place and new vibe. It's somewhat of a retro disco vibe with a play on birds, note the cute little rubber ducks that you can keep! We came around 7pm on a Friday and it was pretty empty. I hope they pick up because this place has a lot of potential! The staff (Hedo and Ian) were great! Super personable, attentive, gave great recommendations. The poblano juice in the cocktails were got was something I'd never had but I loved it. They don't have food here, but they do allow you to bring food which I think is really considerate. So maybe grab food at Oakland Street Food across the street and eat it at Little Bird with a tasty and unique cocktail and great company from the staff!"
"The food is ok. The QR code menu is darn annoying! My fried chicken sandwich was just a bun with chicken tenders in it. There was no spread inside and no greens either. It was at least decent and really hot off the fryer. The little one gave a thumbs up for the hamburger & fries. And K said the Mac & Cheese was ok.The online ordering system kept freezing at the payment section when we were trying to place our order. Finally, the server took our orders manually and I swiped the credit card on a hand held machine instead. It has a nice decently long window for plane spotting while dining, during the day."
"The food was sooo good. We got the combo 1 in the Louisiana flavor and it was just so mouthwatering good. 9/10 definitely my new favorite place in Berkeley. We also got the Cajun fries as appetizers, a little bit salty but it was flavorful aswell. 7.6/10The service was good, and very friendly. They were always in a happy mood. The interior is well decorated and they give you gloves and a bib! Was wearing a white shirt but luckily nothing spilled on me."
"Wouldn't It Be Nice if Downtown Napa had a great record shop?It does!A fun fun fun record shop & bar/cafe. Spacious, set up aesthetically but also practical for flipping through the racks of vinyl. Place has good vibrations that makes you want to keep looking & looking - and hey if you need a breather have a cocktail or a coffee, or both! A brilliant addition to downtown Napa."
"My boss wanted to get together at a cafe and recommended we try Awaken Cafe & Roasting since they open early and stay open late! This was an ideal spot for us as coffee and tea lovers, though they also offer boozy drinks. As you enter inside, customers are met with a semi-quiet environment. The high ceilings, dark-colored walls and decor, and sizeable inside area provide a good cafe option. Plenty of customers were chatting like us and working but there was no WiFi. Service wasn't special or welcoming, drinks were made and called swiftly. You will become awakened at Awaken Cafe! Aside from classic and specialty coffees they also serve tea. I couldn't pass up on their Iced Chai Latte which I got with Soy Milk. The drink was on the more watery side and gravitated towards spiced versus sweet. It was fine but not my favorite. This is areturn good option for Downtown Oakland--good for pick-me-ups, spacious setting with lots of seating, and a central location. You can also order ahead online. Parking is limited to the street but close to public transportation since it's off-Broadway Ave. I don't think I'll come back but would suggest it for workers or people to gather at."
"What and fun and cool concept and execution of a beach hangout spot! Came here for a friend's birthday celebration and we claimed the areas around the giant firepit in the middle of the place. There was plenty of seating and the pit was large and well-maintained. It was super-awesome to have live music to add to the already awesome vibe of the place. My husband and I walked across the way over to Spangler's to pick up sandwiches for dinner and we brought it with us to eat (thank goodness it was okay to bring outside food). I don't drink alcohol, so I didn't get any cider, but they had packages of s'mores for sale, so he got himself a cider and s'mores for me. What a perfect offering to have for a place with a ginormous fire pit. I had fun putting my s'more together. The marshmallows that came with it were the flat campfire kind - perfect! The chocolates were the Ghirardelli squares - also perfect! If they had coffee as an offering, that would have been ultimate perfection for me as a pairing with my sweet treat. It was pretty magical to hang out as the sun went down and enjoy the warmth of the fire enveloping us as the night air chilled. The bay was right behind us and the view was so serene. Restrooms were down the paved walkway and was convenient. Service was great. Ambiance was great. I had a fantastic time. Hope to be back!"
"Absolute gem in the neighborhood. If there were more businesses like this in the Town, Oakland would be a better place. Its owner operated so they literally never miss on food, experience, and cocktails. This is my new go to spot."
"5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service.Food was amazing. Oysters, trout dip, and lobster roll (with Caesar salad) were standouts. Our server was either frazzled or spaced out or both. He couldn't remember anything that wasn't written on the menu. He asked if we wanted hot sauce/horseradish for the oysters, and then took literally 10 mins to bring it over. Halfway through our meal, he cleared a few plates and asked us if we had more food coming? It was very strange. Otherwise great experience."
