Nick's Crawfish

Was looking for some crawfish and this was suggested on my Google search.This place is nestled at the end of an inside mall/shopping center kind of setup. The setting is like a mall eatery type deal. You have a main area where you can order your food from the eatery of your choice and then eat it at the main eating area (if I'm making sense).I was kind of hesitant because it didn't appear to be the cleanest but I proceeded to order my crawfish anyway because my daughter was visiting and really wanted some.I ordered four pounds and they were good. But I was turned completely off by the appearance of this establishment and probably won't return.

**sigh** I went from telling all of my friends about this place (because Pandemic and saving small businesses and all) and I've been burned. Long story short- super super super super SUPER abad quality crawfish, really awful combative customer service. So glad for the refund from the food delivery service, because I almost cried throwing 3 pounds of (dry, crusty, shell dried on) crawfish in the trash.

So , by faith I order the crawfish ( CAJUN STYLE ) I'mFrom Louisiana we like it boiled inside not outside . These crawfish were soooooooo good !! I don't know who's boiling !! They're so flavorful nice spice to it I love me some spicy crawfish !! Everything was amazing !!! I can definitely get my fix anytime with this place !! I would recommend you try this place . As you can see the crawfish didn't make the picture . THATS HOW YOU KNOW

Nick - I don't know who you are, but I'm disappointed. it's advertised on FB that you have JUMBO crawfish. The server informed me that they're categorized as JUMBO/ LRG per sales from Louisiana. He kindly told me that they're more like med/ large. I appreciated his candor, so I went ahead and ordered anyways. Most of the crawfish were more like small and medium with barely any large mixed in. The flavor was disappointing. It was ok (not bad). Honestly, the best way to describe them is that they taste like the crawfish at an AYCE buffet. Nothing special. Maybe I'm too picky bc it's still the start of the season. However, I will try other places first before coming back here.

We was craving some crawfish so we came to nicks. We got 4lb and 2 beers. The crawfish was pretty good size. All the sauce is in front, so we have to make our own sauce. We like lemon,salt and pepper style sauce. Simple but good dipping. I did ask for garlic butter sauce which he had. Very friendly guy.

I love trying out different crawfish restaurants. I saw that the hours were standard restaurant hours which i liked because i can eat crawfish for lunch. Most other places that serve crawfish open at 3pm. So when I saw this, I wanted to see if it still tasted as good as it's previous owner (Crawfish & Beignets). I have to say, it's a solid 5 star classic Cajun boil flavor. When you suck the head, you can taste all the seasoning the crawfish has been soaked in (Cajun, celery, oranges, etc). Then on the outside of the crawfish, if you order spicy, they add more of their customized Cajun seasoning. I ordered extra spicy and it was perfect! After eating the other fancy garlic butter crawfish from other known crawfish joints, I really enjoyed eating the classic Cajun boil style here. Reminded me of a really good home crawfish boil. I am very particular with my crawfish especially because I hate eating over cooked crawfish. Here, it's cooked just right and the wait is never long. I only bumped it down to 4 stars because I wished they had more selection other than crawfish. Their menu is expanded, but some things are always "sold out". It is located inside Hong Kong Food Market (food court) and everything is pretty self serve. But I like that they provide condiments so you can get as much as you want. Plus, trash bag so you can line the table (like you would eat at home). Then when done, wrap it all up and throw it away. They are also not stingy on paper napkins. Here is a tip, save some of the napkins so when you go to the restroom to wash your hands, you have napkins to dry. The food court restroom never has any napkins.

We tried going to Crawfish Cafe but the wait was too long, so we ended up here. This is in the Hong Kong Market on the food court side. Things I liked about this place were: 1. Price for crawfish was $7.99, which is pretty cheap 2. Practically no wait since the crawfish is already boiled and ready, they just add more Cajun seasoning and 3. Crawfish was big!If you want some crawfish quick, you can't really go wrong. But eating crawfish is like eating chicken wings; you need some variety to break up the repetition. The corn and potatoes here are cooked separately and not mixed in with the crawfish, which was disappointing. They also have a more limited menu and run out of things.

The only reason I didn't give five stars is because there were lots of baby crawfish, but I understand I got some in January and the season hasn't really even started yet. I got 3 pounds of crawfish, spicy. I love that they just boil the crawfish and season it without all the garlic and other herbs most places use now. The crawfish still have a good flavor without it all. The corn and potatoes are plain, but I just put in in the bag of crawfish and they tasted good enough to me. It's not the nicest, cleanest place to sit down and eat them there, but it's not too bad. Just a regular set up of tables and they do provide a trash bag and napkins for you to eat on at the table. My order was to-go, but the customer service was exceptional. This is definitely where I'll be getting my crawfish from.

This place is the bomb! The people who run the place are super sweet and the food is incredible. It's open four hours earlier than most other crawfish spots and there's almost no wait time.The guy running the counter went out of his way to make sure I had a great experience. I'm definitely going to be coming back with a bigger party.

Ok. I am not a fan of crawfish at all so I didn't think much of it. People constantly ordered from this place as I sat with my mom eating some crabs so my mom asked if we should try it. Why not?We wanted to order 1lb but the guy said 2lbs minimum so ok! We got 2lbs...I am so glad we did because it was so fresh and big. I really enjoyed it. The flavor was on point. It was so good we got like 2-3 more lbs. I believe if you buy 5lbs, you get one free. Great deal! If you're in Bellaire, Houston TX right now, make sure to drop by this place!! So good!!!
