Had a wonderful dinner here. Eggplant was very unique, sea bass was perfectly prepared, the dates casino was delish. Really just about eve try thing we tried was unique, fresh, and prepared extremely well. Only dish I'd skip next time is the tuna main entre. While it was fine, it just didn't blow me away like the rest. I'll chalk that up to preference not quality.

Off the bat I would say the service really stood out to me here. Every single person we spoke to was so kind and helpful and very clearly passionate about their restaurant. The chef even came by ask us about our meal and took a shot with us!It is tapas-sharing style so we ordered several things on the menu, including hamachi crudo, hummus, pita, fish rolls and sea bass skewers. The absolute stand out dish were the fish rolls. They are made with phyllo dough that fried to perfection! And they had a creamy filling that was not fishy at all! For dessert, we had the strawberry bomb and the pistachio dream. It was in fact a dream! I loved the warm pastry combined with the pistachio ice cream. Such a perfect last bite!Ambiance is awesome. The bar is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The music is not loud at all and I love how dim it is, sets the vibe for me. I think the booth we were sat at was prob too small for 4 but we made it work! All in all, I would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing first experience at Neya! Jonathan was an amazing waiter and the food was beyond incredible. Every dish was skillfully prepared and full of flavor. We tried the branzino, tuna crispy rice, hummus, yellow tail sashimi, polenta, and hamachi gyoza. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and a great dinner spot. Can't wait to come back and recommend to many others.

I had been really wanting to check out Neya since I love Israeli food and finally did so last Saturday night. Reservations were easy, and so was the parking. We found a spot on the street right in front. We didn't have to wait to be seated on our reservation and were seated in a comfortable banquette overlooking the room. We started with cocktails. I had the Akko Sun with Mezcal. It was spicy, smokey and delicious. My girlfriend had the passion bellini, which actually has vodka that balances the sweetness quite well. The service was amazing and our waiter Andre recommended delicious dishes for us all night. We started with the tuna crudo. It was fresh and fantastic. The octopus hummus was delicious and the octopus was perfectly cooked. The ricotta gnocchi was good without being overly filling. We also had the beef tenderloin that came with this delicious caramel sauce. The special of the night was a fish wellington, that was baked in a phyllo type dough. It was creamy and sweet and delicious, while being perfectly cooked. For desserts, my girlfriend had the cheesecake and I had the chocolate dessert. Neither of us shared. I LOVED the chocolate dessert and my girlfriend loved hers. We will definitely be back and I have already recommended it to all my friends. Welcome, Neya. Please stay forever. Maybe move to Coral Gables?!

Went here for lunch with a couple of friends! I knew it was kosher but I didn't know it was a dairy restaurant. I wanted to try their kebabs, but fortunately I was pleasantly surprised by every dish I tried. Even something as simple as grilled baby gem was delicious! The fish was insane. The skin super crispy and overall super flavorful and moist. The pita bread was so cozy, warm soft crispy at the same time. The cauliflower dish is also a must. I'll definitely be coming back

TL;DR: wow, this place is definitely worth visiting! Neya had been on my list for a while, and I finally had a reason to celebrate with my family, so we checked it out! Definitely a place for a special occasion (it's pricey), but definitely worth visiting. The shop is intimate, and the service is wonderful (the head chef even stopped by to say hi and chat)! Everything dish is beautifully plated and colorful, each looks like a work of art in it's own right!Lychee Martini- too sweet for me personallyHamachi sashimi (East Jerusalem style)- one of my favorite dishes of the night. Loved the flavors, and wanted to drink up the olive oil it was in, the olive oil was so fresh and flavorful!Eggplant- tasty, but not wow! Would have loved fresh pita to go with it (rather than oily pita chips- which were delicious, but the dish was already oily)Roasted baby gem salad in homemade strawberry marmalade- the dressing was so colorful, and it was a sweet and unique way to eat your veggies!Corvina with ricotta gnocchi with roasted asparagus in a white wine sauce- the fish was delicious and so was the sauce, but between the fatty sauce and the carbs from the pasta, it was very filling and heavy!Black truffle wild mushroom polenta- very tasty, but the texture was off (too soggy). The real showstoppers however were the desserts! Here's what we ordered:Fig parfait- was more like ice cream in consistency, but still delicious. Served with pistachio crumble and pomegranate molasses. Unique combo of flavors that paired nicely together (the sweetness and acidity of the pomegranate molasses, paired with the nutty crunch of the pistachio crumble and the sweet creamy fig "ice cream" was a hit)!My favorite dessert was the labaneh cheesecake with passion fruit preserve, mint, zaatar and caramelized olive, which sounds weird, but upon tasting was a perfect pairing! It was easily the tastiest and most innovative cheesecake I've ever ordered. I often time find savory inspired desserts disappointing and weird, and this clearly didn't happen with this cheesecake, I'm so glad our waiter pushed us to try it!

You know it's bad when you google "can I give less than one star on yelp" before writing the review. Probably the worst dining experience I've had yet. We ordered two drinks and four tapas to share, total came out to over $200. Portions were not only overpriced but ridiculously small. Litteraly $38 for a plate of 3 potstickers? Staff was hovering and rushed us, they kept taking away dishes before we were done eating them. That forkful of polenta left on my plate was probably worth a few dollars. They weren't busy but we felt rudely pushed out by the end. I've never written a bad review but this experience was just so frustrating I had to do the deed. I wish the $6 bottled water came with the power to forget.

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in SoFlo. We had the privilege to enjoy the $45 pp Miami Spice Menu and it was truly a steal. You got 2 appetizers, an entree and dessert. Everything was delicious and well thought out. Attention is also great and if it's your first time they will explain that all dishes are tapa style and will even give you their personal recommendations if you ask.The chef also comes by the tables to ask how everything was. Very nice touch and very humble sweet chef.I have been dreaming of going back to this place ever since I left :)
