"What an awesome BBQ Restaurant. The staff was super personable and friendly, the food was exactly what we hoped it would be. Our favorites were without a doubt the pulled chicken sandwich, and the Mac and cheese. The cornbread was even above my expectations which was a nice surprise. A+ Keep up the good work guys!!"
"Got the fajitas texanas and beef chimichanga to go. The service was clean, fast and friendly. The salsa portion was larger than I have had at other Mexican restaurants in to go orders; although it was lacking flavor sadly. My fajitas were very bland but they did have plenty of shrimp compared to other restaurants. I went home and seasoned them more so that they were more palatable. They also gave two packs of flour tortillas to go with the fajitas; most restaurants only give one. My mother's beef chimichangas were a little tough and mediocre as far as flavoring. I probably wouldn't eat her again; might come back to just try the margaritas."
Hopping with flavor! 3 sets of juicy farm raised "Cajun Chix Wing", fried to perfection!

"Impressed with this little place, the takeout was fresh/hot/full of flavor! We will be back for more! Such a sweet gal taking orders."
"I realize you may not need to go to Rivergate Mall, but if your near there and looking for some low calorie options I highly recommend this place. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Potato and it was perfectly done and the young lady working the counter couldn't have been nicer. There's another one in Germantown that I'll be going to next"
"Ooooooooweeeee!! The sweet potato casserole was the bomb! The lobster macaroni and cheese could use some more seasonings and cheese. But it was still good. And still worth eating! The lobster roll was the bomb. There was some type of spicy sauce on it. It wasn't like everybody else's lobster roll of lobster meat and melted hot butter. I don't know what it was! But it was something spicy on it and it was delicious! The crab cake... hard pass. Tasted too fishy. But I'm not a fan of everybody's crab cake to be honest. I'm very picky about them. So my opinion of the crab cake may need to be omitted! But all in all, I will be returning! This was affordable and delicious!***SPECIAL MENTION ****There is a long wait. So don't get down there in your hasty pants and become impatient. Just an FYI! Besides, it's worth the wait!"
"Loved that they had so many healthy options to eat. This is usually hard to find on a business trip. Came here for lunch in a Monday. Got the big eye tuna poke bowl but substituted salad greens for the sushi rice. It was the perfect light lunch. Came here for breakfast on a Tuesaday and the place was more bustling. I got the liver lover juice and the parfait. The juice was bottled. But still very good. The parfait was delicious and a good portion. The granola sat atop the yogurt and lots of fruit. The highlight was the brûlée pineapple. All pineapple should be this way! The Lounge- I got the "cheaper than a shrink" cocktail and it was very good. The lounge is lively at night."
"A local treasure off the beaten path but also not too far from the highway. Stopped here for supper on our way through. My husband got the BBQ plate with a side of mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. The pork came smoked but without sauce and you could add the sauce of your choice. The flavor of the pork was delicious and everything you would expect from Tennessee BBQ. The mac n cheese was less cheesy and tasted more like buttered noodles than traditional mac n cheese but it was still good. I ordered the catfish dinner and it came with white beans, coleslaw, fries, and hush puppies. The flavor of the breading on the catfish, and the hush puppies were SO delicious! The coleslaw had a sweet taste to it, something ive never tasted on coleslaw before but I wasn't disappointed at all. The owners were working and were both so nice and inviting. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for local food while passing through."
"We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We walked in, were seated right away to a booth, which we always prefer. The restaurant was very clean and organized, which seems to be rare in Nashville (smh). The menu was straightforward and the food came out very quickly. The combination fajitas were spectacular, lots of flavor. The combo with the chicken quesadilla and cheese enchilada were very good as well. The waiter was on top of the drink refills. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!"
"We really enjoyed our lunch here. We scored a $2.99 margarita that was so yummy as well. We ordered a variety of street tacos, lunch carnitas, burrito supreme, and a dish with Carne asada and elotes, everything was tasty. We are planning to come back already to try their other dishes. Chips and salsa and fresh tortillas are added bonus. All in all only paid $50 for a family of 4. Such a great deal!"
"Have had my eye on Mariscos Sayulita Nayarit but it's on the other side of town and I would pass three places I enjoy just to get out there. Today I took the drive out there so I could check them off my list and I now regret waiting so long. This place is clean, bright, nicely decorated, and the staff is extremely friendly even with my poor Spanish. I took a seat at the bar and Elisa (sp) took my beer order and all of a sudden a server brought me a plate I didn't order (it was complimentary). The dish was called Tostada de Ceviche Marlin and it's marinated Marlin on a tortilla shell with diced tomato and celery. I gave it a try and it is fresh with a light "pickled" flavor, and with the garnishment is really quite good. The chips and salsa was served and I really liked the salsa, mild, a nice flavor, and you can tell it's made in-house. This menu can take you a bit to study and while Nayarit style seafood is the emphasis, there are many traditional Mexican dishes available too. After watching dishes being served to various tables (that looked incredible) I decided on the Fajitas Sayulita which one of the waitresses gave me a two thumbs-up! This consisted of bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, ribs, fajita steak & chicken, along with traditional sides. My first bite was some of the chicken with the onions & peppers on a tortilla and it was a "WOW" moment...great flavor and very tender. Loved the bacon wrapped shrimp which were also filled with queso cheese...these are addicting. Everything on the platter was great...some of the best fajita flavors around. Overall this dish is a real standout and I am looking forward to trying some of the seafood offerings. ALL of the servers were great answering questions and making me feel welcome. For me...this spot is well worth the trek across town to enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine."
"My husband and I first dined at The Marsh House on our very first date three years ago, so it holds a special spot in my heart. While I don't recall what I had on that first visit, this time we arrived early enough to take advantage of their happy hour, which was fantastic. We started with fresh oysters for $1.50 each, followed by the Good Samaritan cocktail ($10), which was similar to a whiskey sour--smooth and refreshing. The Thai beef skewer ($8) had a perfect balance of flavor and spice, making it a great appetizer. For my main course, I had a cup of gumbo, which was delicious, while my husband ordered the hanger steak cooked medium rare. It was done to perfection! To finish the meal, we had their bread pudding, which was absolutely out of this world. The dessert was generously provided on the house, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Our waitress was amazing, offering excellent recommendations that enhanced our experience. For parking, there are several options: paid street parking, a garage, or valet for $8 plus tip.The Marsh House will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I look forward to many more visits in the future."
"Ordered delivery through Yelp (who gets it from Grubhub) for 4 people, got:- fresh spring rolls: pretty tasty, good sauce, lots of vegetables, light- spicy noodles (otherwise known as pad kee mao / drunken noodle) with tofu: quite tasty, liked that it was spicy (I asked for it spicy) and quite flavorful. Noodles weren't chewy though and stuck together a bit.- pad thai: comes with chicken and shrimp, not much flavor. Noodles all stuck together, nothing impressive.- red curry with tofu and green curry with tofu: both watered down, flavor was just okay. Asked for the green curry to be spicy which it was so at least that was good. Good amount of vegetables and tofu.Good amount of food, came out to be around $67 post-tax pre-tip, but for whatever reason, there was about $14 of delivery and service fee on top of that charged, yikes."

Went back today! Ordered the seabass fish plate (amazing - so tasty), the lobster Mac & Cheese; the Lobster pasta, and the crab cake again.Everything was incredible, just last time. The owner/chef makes everything from scratch, INCLUDING the pasta! Truly my new favorite food truck in Nashville.

Visited this place for the Grinch Tea, which obviously had better be good because that's a bold name to call it if they weren't going to deliver on the theming. No need to fear because the menu had cute names that referred to the cartoon and before long, the Grinch came out to take pictures at each table and to make time with the guests.Foodwise, it's an okay tea in a luxurious, lavish, quietly classy location. I say that because the tea food was nothing special. My faves were the Who Smoked Salmon Sandwich, the Cindy Lou Who Pecan Pie, and the I hate X-Mas Apple financier. The scones, which usually are the highlight for me at a tea if they scones are fresh and they're served with real devonshire or clotted cream, were not great and had a heavy baking soda flavor. And the service? The Grinch visited us more than the waitress. I wish I could give her the excuse that it was a busy day, but all we wanted was more hot tea for our tea pots and she was nowhere to be found after she gave us our tea pots. our food was served by someone else and we never saw her again. I'm not kidding when I say that the Grinch visited us four times and the waitress only once. What?!?Still we enjoyed our tea because in that lobby, you have beautiful furniture and it's easy to get into the Christmas spirit. Just don't expect extra hot water for your tea.

Stopped in on the way through. A group of 8 of us stopped in for lunch. Only gave the three stars because the customer service was decent. 7 of us got our meals that were a 2 out of 5 sadly. I just assume it was a rough day for the kitchen as they were packed. But the 8th person waited 30 minutes before we had to go in and ask them for it. Every meal we ordered was very dry and bland. We were very excited for this. But would love to try them again maybe when it's earlier in the day and the food is a little more fresh. But thanks again for the customer service. It was 4/5.

We were quickly seated and ordered the Baja seafood tacos and steak burritos. Food was delivered in less than 5 mins with another basket of chips and salsa. We both enjoyed the food--my tacos had fresh mango and fried shrimp, and my counterpart was engrossed in their steak burritos the entire time, not looking up until they finished. We also ordered the flan, which was a great sweet finish to our meal. We're excited to come back again!Plenty of parking, clean bathroom, and many options to choose from at an affordable price! Came around early evening on a Monday so it wasn't too packed, but the service was super fast. Good ambiance and friendly staff.

"This is a true to life, honest to gosh, real BBQ Joint! About 8 years ago ole' man Head built a small metal building in front of the pit he's been cooking on for years. Cooking for himself, church groups, neighbors and anyone that had occasion to feed a group of people all those years he got real good at it. The little metal building houses a small prep kitchen, cash register, bread rack and 2 tables. I'm thinking that about 3 years ago he added on to the little building adding 3 more tables and a metal 599 carport with picnic tables. Pulled pork, ribs and chicken halves along with the standard sides and homemade fried pies are the menu. all made right there and you can tatse the love. Opens Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday for lunch and close a little before 7PM except for Saturday, until he sales out which usally is no later than 5 but usally closer to 3. Please be advised that Mr.Head is an ole country farmer and he feeds alot of the other farmers in the area, so thats a brunch of his clientele AND it also means you can get there a little before 10 and expect someone to be eating lunch!! You might need to understand that ole BBQ Pit he built that small metal building in front of is out to the side of his house and infront of one of his barns. So, A country BBQ joint really in the country, serving real pit BBQ by family members, in a building they built in there own yard! Good.. Real Good!!! The only reason he doesn't get 5 stars is..... well, I cook BBQ too (of course ya can't buy mine) so youll just have to take my word for the fact that umm... mine's better!!"
"We just ate on the sushi side. They have a good selection and the price is very reasonable for sushi. The fish was fresh and the presentation of the food was fun. I will be back if I am in the area."
"Happy to have a new sushi restaurant in Nashville that is actually good! Unfortunately it is decently pricey, but the fish is fresh and rolls are nicely executed. We had an assortment of rolls and dishes, and would probably get them all again. We started off with some appetizers: lemon calamari, karaage, and fried prawns. All were good but prawns were especially fun in a nice creamy sauce, but karaage was a little unexpected - kind of more a battered chicken nugget, rather than then crispy, craggly Japanese karaage I'm used to at ramen shops. It was still enjoyable but the weakest of the dishes. The appetizer portions were sufficient, but would have appreciated a little more.As for mains: - Angry Fish was one of our favorites with a topping of eel sauce and creamy sauce. Somewhat Americanized with the sauces but we still loved it- Flash Flood was also awesome - great amount of poke on top- Spicy Scallop was basic but had nice big chunks of scallops- Spicy Taste was actually quite hot and fun, a little too spicy for some of us but I liked. It- Red Mango Crunch was good with a generous amount of tempura crunch, mango was not overpowering - Cherry blossom tasted fresh and had a cute presentation- Tuna Tartar was good but a little too sweet for me- Has a few nigiris (hotate, amaebi, walu, ikura) which were all nice a fresh - loved that they served the amaebi (sweet shrimp) with the incredibly crispy fried shrimp headsAppreciated the good service as well! Overall nice new sushi joint, just be prepared as it is more upscale rather than affordable.*If you're looking for a deal, check out their Sake Tuesday happy hour from 4p-9p - 50% off sake bottles (cheapest is $30 after discount) and $10 classic maki (simple rolls, but highly recommend the Spicy Scallop and Spicy Lobster...the Dynamite is also fun if you like fried rolls). All pics are from Sake Tuesday - forgot to photograph our group dinner"
"From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The food, the service, the ambiance. Impeccable without being stuffy. Everything was perfectly cooked, and absolutely gorgeous. And the views....spectacular. If you really want a WOW experience, this is the place to go. I can't wait to go back."
"I really, really love this place. Las Americas is a good name for this place. It is not truly Mexican because it features foods found in Latin and Central America. It's a small hole in the wall kind of place right off of the very busy Nolensville Pike in Nashville. If you aren't careful, you might miss it. However, don't miss it.Food is absolutely delicious. Everything from the chips and salsa to the main entrées are on point. The pico de gallo is real fresh and tasty. Everything is fresh cooked to order. Particularly, I recommend the fresh pupusas. Perfect flavors and not greasy at all. I can't rave enough about it.Boss man raved about his chimichanga with tomatillo sauce. He was so happy he even ate avocado. He doesn't usually eat avocado!! He also tried the fresh beef taco and thought he was tasting stuff he hasn't had since San Diego. As for me, the carnitas was refreshingly good. Pork was cooked beautifully and the combo of rice beans salad and pico was unbeatable. The portions are extremely generous that we both took product home with us. One other Yelp reviewer commented about don't come here unless you bring your appetite. That reviewer was spot on.The staff is super nice. They can speak both English and Spanish. The place has kept very clean and neat. And they also play music that adds to the ambience. On the other TV they even had a rodeo playing! If you don't want to buy bottles of soda or anything like that, I recommend you bring your own bottle of water or whatever beverage you prefer. After this experience, we will be sure to be back. Hope to see you there too!"
"This has to be the biggest hidden gem in Nashville. Gannons came up during a random Yelp search I was conducting. I decided to give it a try. My bf and I was seeing a show at TPAC and walked over to Gannons afterwards. Our reservation was for 5:30pm, but they were able to get us in at 5pm. The entire staff was amazing. Our waiter Mark went over and beyond to make sure our visit was amazing. Please ask for him if you go.The main star of our meal was the pork chop with a peach glaze. Just when I thought Urban Grub and Perry's had the best pork chop in town. The pork chop was 20 out of 10. It was prepared perfect with its juices still in tact. The peach glaze was an added bonus. I also enjoyed the cream spinach. How could I forget about the Brie oysters I had as a starter. Please forgive me, talk about a flavor parade. Oysters Rockefeller who, it's all bout the Brie . Overall, this is the perfect date night for an elevated intimate dinner."
"I'll be honest--the name grabbed my attention initially. I was looking for something fun to do while visiting family in town. It was my first time in Nashville and while I love live music, Country isn't typically my thing. When I looked up Skull's Rainbow Room, I was shocked to hear about its long standing existence, bringing in big names like Elvis & Johnny Cash as visitors. As a lover of burlesque, I decided to give it a try! It was a Friday night and I wasn't sure how early to show up. They don't take reservations for their burlesque shows. My sister and I showed up 30 min early for the 11pm show and got in no problem. It was busy but not full. We had just enough time to order a drink from the bar and take a spot near the walkway of the stage (the show is all standing room only, unless you made dinner reservations). The bartenders were great--wonderful service, cracking jokes, made us feel at home. Next time I would love to make dinner reservations for the show because: a) the food looked amazing - we were drooling as plates passed us by & b) those sitting got table service for additional drinks & c) they got to sit !All the performers were fabulous. First the MC and her beautiful voice, making jokes to get the crowd loosened up. Plus I loved her sexy backup dancers--all dancing in unison with the MC was impressive! All the individual burlesque acts were impressive in their own right. The most unique act was the sword swallower--something I'd never seen live before! The whole experience was great. I would definitely recommend Skulls Rainbow Room burlesque show to anyone!"
"Have gone to dinner six times, tonight will be the last.Wildly inconsistent food quality. Shrimp and grits that has been fabulous at times and, literally, inedible twice. Fantastic salmon. The most average, unremarkable hamburger I've ever had. Good steak. Amazing Brussel sprouts.Staff is great unless there is any hiccup or , God forbid, a complaint about food quality. They don't seem to know how to handle it or make it right. My wife actually complimented the shrimp and grits while saying the grits were terrible, in an effort to encourage them to improve for the future, and the waiter basically ignored her.Tonight, two people at our table ordered the same dish and one was so over-seasoned it was a darker color of orange. The server insisted they were made in the same pan. Maybe so... but one of them got an extra large helping of cayenne pepper or something added before it came to the table.Literally two plates side-by-side that were visually different and she said we were wrong. The chef was not in on Friday night for dinner service and we simply could do nothing about it. I assume they don't let line cooks talk to customers. There are great restaurants around Franklin. This place is not interested in becoming one of them."
"Came here on a Friday at 6pm with reservations. We ordered some tacos and queso which were both great. The queso was easily large enough for 4 people. Tacos were good albeit not mind blowing for the price. The atmosphere and vibe of the spot really started popping off around 7-8pm. Their rooftop bar has one of the best views of the Nashville skyline I know of. We cant wait to come back and grab drinks with friends here."
"Don't judge this book by its cover. China Moon is a great option for dinner on the go and it's easy on the wallet. The day after New Years, I was over cooking and cleaning a million pots and pans, so Chinese take-out to the rescue! We ordered a ton of food with the sesame chicken and the beef/veggie platter being the standouts. Each meal comes with a side of rice, so be-careful when ordering extra rice, because you might end up with 4 extra sides of rice like we did. Beyond plain white rice they offer chow mein, Lo mein and of course fried rice. The chicken chow mein was our choice and it was amazing! The portions here are huge and four plates of food could easily feed five-six adults. We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef, veggies and chow mein. With tip all of it was just over $50 and we had leftovers for a few days!"
"What a home run!!! Visiting my partners family and they were raving about this restaurant. And they were spot on! This was an excellent dinner spot. You can tell this is a newer establishment.Super friendly staff. Beautiful decor. The menu has your familiar favorite with some excellent new and flavorful dishes.I ordered the Pollo a la Crema. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. The dish was delicious and the flavor building was a breath of fresh air.The sangria also very tasty!"
"This is my all time favorite take out Chinese restaurant! The sesame chicken and lo mein is my favorite paired with the crab rangoons! They are fast, fresh food, and so friendly"
"Service was great. Food was DELICIOUS! Great music playing while we ate. Will be back again."
"Not bad. Great service but did not enjoy the fish. They said it was Tilapia but it tasted like catfish, which I do not like.My daughter really enjoyed the Shrimp & Crawfish. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere was family friendly & not loud."
"Dang!!! this was delicious. I started off with the Bake Fetta (baked fetaroasted red bell pepper, tomatoes, currants, olives, capers, preserved lemon, mint orange syrup, warm focaccia wedge, avocado) and finished off with the (Cocoa Coffee Venison - medium rare plantain carrot relish, masa griddle cake, black bean mole, blackberry gastrique, sugar peas, ginger crema).I wish I could take a whole loaf of the masa griddle cake!! Everything was delicious. The vegetables were just okay but still pretty good.Highly Recommend"
"Unexpected little gem of a place. I have to admit I judged a book by its cover and this time I was supremely wrong. When we arrived to stay at a near by place for a few days I saw this place and while it was crowded I overlooked it. I wrongly assumed it was busy because of its proximity to hotels and attractions, not because of their food or service. I was wrong on both accounts. Caney Fork is busy because they are good. We came here on our last night of our honeymoon to get some food after being out all day. The day before we had gone to their attached ice cream place and found that they were both family owned and since the restaurant offered wild game meat my husband was super interested in trying it. We came here before 5 on a Sunday so it wasn't packed with people and were greeted and seated super fast. Our server Red was awesome. He was personable and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. We got the wild game platter and also the surf and turf. The wild game platter had fried gator, Cajun frog legs, elk patties and, wild game sausage along with their outfitter stew. The gator wasn't tough it was fried perfectly and had great flavor. The frog legs were tender and flavorful. The patties were a little dry but I imagine that in a burger they would be amazing and paired with the bbq sauce that came with them took any dryness away. The sausage was bursting with flavor and the stew reminded me of an Irish beef stew or a nice hearty winter stew. The surf and turf had an 8oz sirloin that was perfectly cooked and juicy. The shrimp was bbq grilled and bursting with flavor. The sides were had were the campfire potatoes that had a great crunch and the onions only complimented the flavor. And the deep fried cheese curds were not overly greasy and had the perfect melted consistency. It was a fun dining experience. The restaurant is done amazingly with tons of fun things to see and to discover. The waterfall lake with fish were fun to be seated by and provided their own entertainment. Like I said before Red our server was awesome. Fun and funny and made it more of an experience. He wanted us to enjoy everything which is what exactly happened. Next time I am in the area I will definitely be back for the food and also the service. Check this place out for something fun for the family or a date or just for good food."
"I've come here for dinner once but have been wanting to try the Gospel brunch and what better day than to come for Easter Sunday. As soon as I walked in, I could hear the beautiful angelic voices of the amazing artists. We chose to sit on the patio which was covered today but gave a nice breeze for the day. Our waiter was very attentive and walked us through the brunch menu but also letting us know that the majority of items on their dinner menu was also available to order. I ordered the chophouse omelet and a pineapple mimosa. The omelet was really good but a bit salty at times. The mimosa was really good. On the menu they only had a regular mimosa but I asked if they can do one with pineapple juice and they made it for me! The patio is away from the live music but at times they had some old school Gospel tunes playing on the speakers which was niceOverall, the music was amazing but would definitely plan to sit indoors next time just to hear the live music better but the food and atmosphere was really good. Highly recommend this place whether you're coming with your friends, family or a date, this restaurant is a nice treat The restaurant offers valet which was $17 today"
"Dropped by on a rainy Sunday cause Yelp ratings of all others in the area were abysmal. Did not regret it. My husband loves horchata so he was super happy to see that on the menu. The salsa was great, just the right amount of chunkiness and cilantro for me. I ordered a fajita salad and was so disappointed when it came with just chicken. Thankfully my husband ordered the Fajitas so I stole his veggies and added my side of black beans. His fajitas were huge, hot and delicious. When I got the bill it all made sense, the server rang in a taco salad instead. We left full and happy aside from the ordering mixup."
