"We made a reservation in advance to visit The Stillery location closest to Broadway. It seems a bit smaller than their other location. We arrived for an early lunch around 1130 on a Sunday and there were still tables available, but it quickly filled up. The service was good and the portions were large. We could've easily split a meal. We ordered the hot chicken on mac & cheese and I appreciated that there were different spice levels of chicken, but even the milder level was still pretty hot. The turkey burger was way better than expected. We were pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend it for a chill lunch near Broadway."
"I love this place. I've been to the Charleston and Savannah locations, so naturally I had to come here as well. We came to brunch before driving back home and it did not disappoint. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the hummingbird cake from the first courses. These were probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The hummingbird cake was better as a dessert and was delicious. I ordered their breakfast plate and I was blown away. How they transform scrambled eggs and had browns is mind blowing. The flavor explosions were amazing. My husband got the Johnny cakes and they were amazing too, in the middle a delicious sausage patty and egg on top. I love that the menu is always changing based on available ingredients. We will of course be back!"

"Nashville, TN. I gave Darfons a five star just because I finally dined at a Nashville restaurant that was relaxed, welcoming, and serves delicious food. It was so good I came back on another night. The ambiance is casual and has the feel of a higher end chain restaurant, nothing fancy, intimate, or romantic. The lighting is soft and pleasant and the noise level was typical of patrons chatting. I enjoyed the inside section more than the so called "Garage". It was just too much like an overflow area. It could be fun for lunch when the windows are open and you want to have a few beers. The non alcoholic drinks are superb. Very nicely crafted. The salad was large, fresh, and so good. The mandarin slices with the walnuts were a nice touch. The salmon is a decent sized portion and well crusted. It was delicious. The salad with add on steak is an economical way to get a delicious filet, even if it comes sliced. The steak portion is excellent and cooked a perfect medium. Their version of pecan pie is one of the best I've had and I'm kind of picky about that. The ice cream tasted house made, very nice.I thought the lamb chops were superb, you get four in a delicious sauce. The chocolate torte is rich and is perfect with their ice cream. I will be back for sure."
"We had dinner here last night, spurred by the glowing reviews we'd seen. The service was excellent, and the dimmed decor created a wonderful ambiance. The hostess was very helpful, guiding us on where to park since the lot was packed. We loved it here--the dishes were well-portioned and unique. The only thing we felt was missing was perhaps a bit of salt and pepper, but it was perfectly fine without it.Regarding Yelp, I recently had my Elite status removed after 10 years because I'm a business owner. Despite not being related or affiliated with any food businesses--only a local real estate office in NY--Yelp managers believe a business owner shouldn't be an Elite reviewer. In my opinion, being a business owner shouldn't disqualify someone from providing honest and fair reviews of unrelated businesses. My reviews are meant to be helpful and honest, and I believe that shouldn't affect my Elite status."
"Sitting in East Nashville on Main Street, Butcher & Bee is pretty unassuming from the exterior. A painted brick building and a box sign is all you get...then you walk in and are immediately transported to a vibey, industrial, new age and uniquely local restaurant that features 1.5 stories of dining space, a bar, open kitchen and great outdoor dining space! This space combined with the amazing cocktails, phenomenal food and great service made for a phenomenal night out! Dinner is served tapas/small plate style, so we opted for a few things off the starters and then one shared plate, and it turned out to be the perfect amount of food. We started with the whipped feta and meatballs. Now if you take one thing from my review, please let it be the whipped feta! It was AMAZING! Meatballs were tender and doused in a curry based sauce that gave them a little kick, so keep the drinks close. For the shared plate we opted for the fried avocado rice with shawarma chicken. It was delightful, but also had a bit of a kick as well! Luckily they seem to know, so they leave you a bottle of water on the table at all times. While the food is certainly enough to bring us back, the open concept, including the kitchen, was such a cool experience. We were lucky enough to belly up to the bar looking into the kitchen and it was really cool to see all the happenings and magic they are creating! Oh, quick tip, make a reservation.Overall, Butcher & Bee has officially made it into the top 10 spots for us in Nashville. Looking forward to coming back many times!"
"Five stars for Rolf & Daughters! This James Beard Nominated chef is innovative and creative! Run, don't walk, here! The decoration is modern and welcoming. The bar area is simply classic! The ingredients are sourced using items found just a few short miles of the restaurant. Much of the items used to create the dishes are sustainable. You can taste the freshness. First, let's start with service. The amazing server Stephanie & GM Stevie were amazing. They were helpful throughout the meal and made it a five star experience. Please give these ladies a raise! Service Grade: A++We had 4 appetizers & 2 main dishes to share. Dry aged beef tartare, ramp, parmesan, new potato. What a fun dish beef tartar served on a baked warm new potato. Grade: A-Stracciatella, sungold tomato, prosciutto xo. They make their own Stracciatella cheese in house. Cheese stretched thin like noodles and topped with farm fresh tomatoes! Grade: A-Green tomato, fig, squash, celery, yuzu. A very creative & contrasting mix of local veggie gems! You can taste TN in this dish! Grade: B+Cucumber, peach, pine nut, basil, fish sauce. Creative dish, well prepared. Appreciated the effort. Honestly, this dish wasn't my favorite. Agnolotti, sweet corn, jalapeño, lime. This dish was one of the highlights of the meal! Fresh local corn made into sweet pillows of deliciousness! This is a must have dish! Grade: A++Heritage pork, blueberry, rossa di milano onion. Locally raised pork cooked to perfection. Flavorful pork paired with blueberries & onion. Delicious! Grade: A-We had two desserts:Plum Sorbet. Super refreshing and bright sorbet made with a local stone fruit. Great palate cleanser after an amazing. Grade: A-Peach amaretti ice cream with olive oil. This was a second highlight of the meal. I wanted to lick the plate! My eyes rolled backwards after the first bite! Served with a side of Heirloom apple Amaro. The perfect pairing, suggested by GM Stevie! Grade: A++We ended the coffee, that was served in local made Japanese tea cups!We were blown away at the customer service of Server Stephanie and GM Stevie. They went above and beyond to make it an amazing culinary experience. Thank you Ladies! The food here is creatively made, locally sourced and fun to eat! Overall impression: A"
"Super chill! Really approachable spot in 12 South- I popped in for happy hour around 6 on a wednesday and there were some seats in the main area and bar still available. Happy Hour options are really good too! $5 house wine was a real winner - and their house white much actually be my new favorite wine. Service was great, quick and friendly."
"Lockeland Table was easily the best meal we had in Nashville. After a day of exploring and being out on Broadway, it was the perfect change of pace. It's in a very cute neighborhood. I would highly recommend making a reservation because it was completely packed on a Saturday evening. We ordered the steak that came with green beans and the grilled pork chop that came on a bed of mac & cheese. We really enjoyed both meals. The mac & cheese tasted smoked and the chutney on top of the pork chop was the perfect addition. Service was top-notch and I'd definitely visit again."
"It's called The Mockingbird because the menu reflects (or, uh, mocks) the food of the people who live in the neighborhood. You will find American southern food here, mostly. But the chef endeavors to pull ideas from the multiple cultures of the people who live in this area of Nashville, which is a melting pot: Cuban, Mexican, Italian, Korean, French and others. I like it! I like it a lot.I visited The Mockingbird with a group, which was great for me because I got to taste a lot of different things on the menu. (The people I dined with were the best kind of people: People willing to share their food.) We got some appetizers to start. The "I Dip, You Dip, We Dip" is a warm spinach and artichoke situation, which comes with tortilla chips and house-made pita. It was wonderful! I loved dipping the chips the most, because they were super crunchy. Another appetizer we ordered was the "Don't Worry, Brie Happy," which is a whipped brie grilled cheese with chimichurri and jalapeno jam on top. It was lovely and comes as a four-piece, but you can easily cut these in half to share with more people. Our final appetizer was "Rice, Rice Baby," which was basically arancini, but made with pimento cheese. It's served with chamoy sauce. This was probably my favorite! You have to love fried rice balls with a tangy sweet sauce. After all of those appetizers, I just wanted a little salad. So I got the "You Oughta Burrata," which is burrata cheese (my favorite!) served with arugula salad with edamame, cucumber and snap peas, plus grilled crostini. It was perfect! Honestly, I could have eaten this burrata salad alone with a glass of wine and been perfectly happy. And speaking of wine: They have a great wine and other adult beverage menu. My only beef with this restaurant is the cutesy names for everything. I'm an adult, and I never want to utter the words "Don't Worry Brie Happy" or "You Oughta Burrata" ever in my life. Luckily, the servers understood me when I said "the brie appetizer" and "burrata salad."I was super full and couldn't eat another bite, but of course we got dessert. Dessert goes into a different chamber of the stomach -- didn't you know that? Anyway, we got the popular "Let's Get Kooky," which is a couple of giant chocolate chip cookies stacked on top of each other, served with an equally giant scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was big enough for four people to share. Then, because one dessert isn't enough, we got the "Cake," which is a strawberry olive oil cake, layered with liquid cheesecake and milk crumbs. It tastes as amazing as it sounds! I loved this cake the most. If you have to get just one dessert here at The Mockingbird, make it the cake."
"Sambuca has one of the best happy hours in Nashville, hands down! They have happy hour every Monday through Friday from 4-7pm where all their appetizers and drinks are half off!! Upon arrival, make sure to let the hosts know that you're there to attend happy hour. They let us sit outside for the day! We went in and ordered anything our heart desired (and it was still such a good deal it didn't even hurt the bank account)! White Tea Spritz: Light and Refreshing, 10/10Spicy Blueberry Margarita: A house special and had a great kick to it, 9/10Calamari Fritti: Perfect fresh and fried calamari, what's not to love, 10/10Chicken and Beef Satay: Pretty standard but a bit bland for my taste, 6/10Tuna Poke: Loved the crunch the wonton strips provided with the taste poke, 10/10Shrimp and Crab Dip: A perfect seafood queso, 10/10Happy hour is definitely the best time to come by here. Make sure you don't miss it!"
"A look at this place and your taste buds will thank you! The small restaurant with big flavor, we had to try! Both types of Ramen were full flavor, and portions were fantastic!! The lady that took our order was a multi jobbed server, host, barista, and she was on point with refills and to chat with the customers. Giving this place a 10/10 definitely would recommend!"
"Great spot! I love how they had a wine tasting as soon as I walked in, I got to samples one white and one red. It was pretty quiet when I came in, which is fine by me! I loved their menu and now they give wine pairing suggestions with the foods. The bartender was super nice! I went with the Zinfandel with the duck tacos. The tacos were okay - a little dry to me, but I added some sauce and that did the trick! The Zinfandel was okay, little jammy for my liking! I switched to the Riesling and that worked better for me. Nice ambiance - a lot of people were there because it's connected to a convention center - looks like they get some amazing acts! I had a very pleasant dinner!"

I wish I had eaten here because the food looked tasty. This place has a bar upstairs with live music and the restaurant downstairs. Bar was great and had a smoky old fashioned where they smoke the glass then pour the drink. There's a stage with live music and honestly, every bar we visited had great singers. Bartenders were great and attentive. Only wish this place stayed open later.

Husk, considered one of the most creative & innovative restaurants of Nashville. Husk is located in a landmark building in downtown Nashville. Chef Ben Norton was nominated for the James Beard Award. His food is sourced locally from nearby farms. It incorporates the flavors & tastes from the South & around the world."Screaming Peanuts" - a manhattan variation featuring HUSK single barrel picks from willett distillery in bardstown, ky Delicious drink, well made. A bit too sweet. Grade: Bbear creek beef tartare*, crawfish xo, banana pepper, mint. A beautiful dish to look at. A savory dish with a kick of spicy heat. Grade: B+summer lettuces, fennel, turmeric, blossoms, benne. This dish was beautiful to look at. Contrasting colors of green and orange. The salad had a lot of dressing. Grade: Bchilled tennessee melon, lime, cucumber, shiso. This dish was simple and refreshing. Grade: Bkentuckyaki glazed pig ears, lettuce wraps, blue plate mayo, peanuts. Great concept using pigs ears that were sliced and tender. Accents of Asian flavors. Grade B+bear creek beef*, thanos eggplant, sungold tomato, smoked bleu. One of the highlights of the meal. The beef was cooked to perfection. The eggplant with hummus was amazingly prepared - crispy on the outside and tender moist on the inside. The highlight of this dish was the smoked bleu cheese sauce! Grade: AButtermilk cheddar biscuits. Home cocking to its finest. Serves with butter and rock salt. Grade Ba plate of southern vegetables. This was another highlight of the meal. A preparation of five different dishes created with veggies from local farms. Each dish was prepared by the different parts of the kitchen. Top mentions were the broken rice made into a grits-like texture and served with a light broth and topped with a pimento (?) sauce. Delightful! Another highlight was a medley of beans, strawberries, & pickled red onions. Grade: A-We had two desserts: Blondie Brownie with ice cream. Serves with a burned mascarpone. Grade: B+A duo of whipped cream cheese made into an ice cream, paired with another ice cream, served with granola and marinated peach. Grade: A-Our server Dana was great! This establishment had great service & it was nice to see the staff work as a team! Grade: A

Was super hungry and this place was close at the time so I stopped. The ambiance was nice just slightly stuffy. The service was good , just not very welcoming. But they did their job and took care of us just don't expect a smile. Nuts fine we didn't come for a smile we came to fill our bellies. They had a blue cheese pasta that was absolutely amazing and would highly recommend it if it's available. The only other thing that I find odd is they automatically add a tip to your bill for the kitchen staff. Why can't the servers split their tips with their support staff. Just watch your bill . It is written in the menu so it's not like they don't tell you.

Super cute place with excellent service. Our dining experience however was a mixed bag. Food was mostly good except for a few issues with 2 dishes. The swordfish came out smelling fishy and not fresh. Not good. The chicken dish was partially uncooked. I'd also skip the meatball starter next time at $15 for 2 small meatballs. I guess I should have asked as we expected to share with 3 at our table. The cornbread, kale salad, gnocchi and sweet potatoes were all very good and worth getting.

I thought I reviewed this and didn't! We came here in May. We got the cauliflower, wagyu, and a pistachio dessert. We are still raving about this place and can't wait to come back. The beef melted in your mouth and is super memorable and worth every penny.

A Cali friend and a local friend highly recommended this spot; it was my first stop in Nashville. It is a little hard to find and does not have signage outside. It is definitely worth the hype. The service was super friendly and on point. Everyone working here seems to genuinely care and happy to work here. The food, decor, and drinks were awesome. The Mojito was refreshing. The sourdough with seaweed butter, bluefin tuna and rigatoni was excellent. My favorite dish was the agnolotti. I was expecting it to be very rich but it ended up being light and bursting with flavor. The only down note for me was dessert. I had high hopes after the food and it ended up being middle of the road. The peach with ice cream and the seaweed ice cream were meh. I was still super impressed and will happily recommend this spot to everyone.

Great meal. The pork chop is impeccable. A must try. Good desserts. Loved the cookie skillet. Pizza was good. Nothing crazy. Carrots were so tasty with a nice Mediterranean sauce. Cheese platter size was kinda laughable for $20. Don't get it. Nice service. Attentive to water refills. Good music inside.

"The food is always good here! The service is incredible! The drinks are excellent!Parking is easy! The atmosphere is nice!Local hangout!"
"Tucked away on an unassuming street corner in Sylvan Park, you might drive right past the place if you weren't looking for it. Thankfully, crowd-sourced review sites discover such culinary jewels. It was our second experience at this wonderful restaurant known as "answer.", indeed Nashville's best answer to the question "What is your favorite American tapas restaurant?"!Answer. is truly a neighborhood eatery just as the founders intended in 2017, filling a culinary void between the sparse offerings on Murphy Road and the vast restaurant scene on Charlotte Pike. This tapas experience manages to be simultaneously upscale yet affordable, high-class but budget-friendly. Three in our party of four were professional chefs and gave the food rave reviews, so you know it's good!Their arancini is one of the best things I've eaten in Nashville! Like all dishes on this ever-changing menu, this was modified from its native form, clearly inspired by the popular Italian appetizer but uniquely transformed by the chef. You'll slice through a deep-fried crispy exterior to reveal tender rice. But other flavors and textures treat your taste buds with fatty ground pork at the center. The king salmon is perhaps the best piece of fish I've ever had in my 30 years in Nashville, slightly crisped on the outside, tender and flaky, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, since this was the nightly special (August of 2024), it may not appear on the menu when you go. The trout is another great option that's more consistently offered, as are the meatballs. The mussels are fabulous with a flavorful broth, but the fresh rye bread that accompanies the mussels is one of the restaurant's best-kept secrets! And the dessert menu is one of my favorites in the city with nothing but great options. Answer. even offers meal packages for takeout on Wednesdays and Sundays!"
"My beautiful friend (and Nashville local) J9 took me here.And...everything is beautiful.Beautiful people inside.Beautiful ambiance.Beautiful food. The food is also very unique. Some of my favorite places to eat use vegetables in unique and creative ways (not just salads and sides), and this is one of those places. I got a broccolini sandwich. It was delicous......and beautiful."
"I like this restaurant because it's consistent on good food quality, good service and good atmosphere. I have eaten here many times because of the reasons listed above. It's also easy to park and free. I had the prime rib and Brussel sprouts. I had not tried this particular dish before and it didn't disappoint."
"Went here for a bourbon tasting event. The room was gorgeous and the bar tender talking about the bourbon event was amazing. They even had live music playing in the corner. We didn't try any of the food but the atmosphere was great and it was a great event. I would come back to try the food and the other area of the restaurant!"
"What a meal! I went for a tasting with two food companions. We made a reservation about a month in advance. We showed up early for our reservation so we could have a drink from the little bar before our meal. The little bar is a small bar on the restaurant side of bastion. It's quiet, it has date night ambiance! Now the meal itself was incredible!!! Each item was delicious! The dishes had a great mixture of flavor, texture, meaty, creamy! The service was great as well and answered any questions we had about wine or the dish. Now for the cost. You will have to pay when you make a reservation and that includes tax and tip. That came out to be around $480. My food partners added the $85 wine tasting when we got there so then that increased the tax and tip a bit. What happens is when you get the bill after eating, it already includes the previously paid tax and tip paid for PLUS the additional amount that the bill was increased because of the alcohol. We got confused by that so that is why I share it here. The reason this was important was because we wanted to make sure we were tipping our servers appropriately. All this to say, this was a great experience. We were celebrating and had no regrets. The chefs come out before each course and tell you about the dish. It feels so intimate and just the vibe for food lovers!"
"Folk is a HIGHLIGHT of the Nashville culinary scene! I came here on a double date while visiting this gorgeous city. Definitely make reservations. Street parking can be a bit of a challenge, so make sure to allot a little extra time. Our group was seated promptly by the friendly waitstaff. The whole way to the table, I was in awe of how cute and classy restaurant looked. We ordered a TON of food to share, and unsurprisingly, the highly-recommended Littleneck Clams Pizza was one of the best menu items. Our appetizers included Anchovies, Mussels, Bread, and Caesar Salad. Alongside the pizza, we got Eggplant Parmesan, Steak, and Trout. Not sure how often they rotate their menu, but everything was incredible. For dessert, we wrapped up with Tiramisu. Not to mention, every cocktail we tried was refreshing and flavorful. Can't remember exactly what I ordered. Overall this feels like such a typically 5-star American dining experience, but I'm so here for it and want to come back again. Love all the fresh food and fantastic customer service that Folk has to offer."
"Wasn't sure what to expect, but everything was really good. The quesa birria taco was the best of the 5 we ordered, with the angus coming in last. Everything tasted super fresh and was made quickly, but didn't come out ugly. The tots were extra crispy and worth every bite! The egg only added to the flavor. The staff was friendly and efficient. And the A/C was delightful after coming from outside in the blistering heat."
"Exploring Nashville and came across Printers Alley.Noticed an interesting heart mural!Walked over and it was a restaurant- Black Rabbit.Looked up reviews on Yelp and Google- great reviews!Made reservations for dinner! We had the best seats in the restaurant! We were seated at the "Chef's Table"- front row seat to the open kitchen!Highest compliments to the Chef and Kitchen Brigade!!Cooking artistry in motion! It was like I was watching an awesome cooking show!!Loved the freshly baked sour dough bread!Cesar salad perfectly dressed!Absolutely love my scallops! Tender and flavorful!Hubby enjoyed the pork chop!Cheesecake was the perfect sweet treat!Loved my Dress to Kill cocktail! Our Server Jennifer S. was exceptional!Knew the menu well, answered questions and made recommendations. She checked in on us!Friendly and helpful. There was live music starting at 8pm!Great ambiance! Love the heart mural- "Embrace Life, Embrace Love, Embrace Each Other" ‼ love this ! Overall- a wonderful dinning experience! Fantastic cuisine and service!Thank you!!Highly recommend to anyone visiting Nashville!!"
"Winding down our post Thanksgiving trip to Nashville, this was one of our last stops in Music City. We didn't hit this spot on our last visit, so I was interested to check it out. Great decor. Great staff in the early afternoon. I only had a couple of lighter beers. All was well. What I loved about Tin Roof on this visit is that we got to see a band change during our visit. I always love a band change in Nashville. Two bands for the price of one..lol. Every band that plays bars in Nashville is very good. Some are just about to make it big, so we got to see a great band for about 20 minutes followed by another great band after a short wait. Always fun when that happens. No complaints here at Tin Shed. The food looked pretty good, too. Folks were ordering sandwiches and burgers. Will definitely look into ordering food next time."
"Perry's Steakhouse & Grille is an extremely solid choice if you are looking for a steakhouse in the Franklin, Tennessee area. It has the atmosphere that captures an upscale dining experience and thos ambiance is only enhanced by stellar service and fantastic food. The steaks are an incredible experience and definitely worth the money. This type of dinner is an indulgent treat and is a great choice for any type of celebration (and sometimes just having a great day is a cause for such a celebration).Perry's Steakhouse & Grille has been around since 1979 when they opened their first location in Houston, Texas. From that humble first location, they have become a small chain of upscale steakhouses across seven states. After dining here, it is easy to see why they have been successful. They offer a great dining experience and hit the high note on the food, ambiance, and staff. If you are looking for an upscale dining experience, I would definitely recommend a visit to this particular location of Perry's Steakhouse & Grille."
"Live music was great. Fun crowd. We were watching the NHL game and it was on the large screen until they decided to switch most screens to the Nashville Predators. We had a night cap to wind down and it was great. Service is a little slow but it was fine."
"I stayed at the Kimpton for my brother's wedding & had Sunday brunch at Henley the following morning. The decor is very pleasing on the eyes & the back dining space even more so. I started off with a Kevin Bacon Old Fashioned & boy was it tasty. It was sweet enough to be a dessert but at the same time you could taste the bacon with every sip. Aromatic & strong as it should be.I had the server help me choose my food as everything sounded too good. She suggested the French toast Monte cristo & since I've only had a Monte cristo sandwich maybe twice in my life I went with the recommendation. It was phenomenal. Full of flavor in each bite with pillow soft French toast bread. I almost forgot to take a photo I was so busy enjoying it. Luckily I captured half of it before it disappeared.Service was great as there was a party of 9 of us & I'd love to come back & have lunch or dinner here."
"The Slider House is located in the middle of the Midtown area of the city amongst all the restaurants and bars. As you would suspect, they serve sliders of all different types from beef, chicken, pork and even fish. You can get an individual slider for $7, or make a meal out of it with 2 sliders with a side. The Slider House is a sports bar, so TV's are on all the walls, so not a bad seat in the house when a game is on. Note that this spot is the local Detroit Lions bar, so plan accordingly on game days!We went with the meal option and got two sliders and a side. I got a beef slider, The Old Hickory, a chicken slider, Southern Comfort and a side of onion pedals. Meal total was $17. The sliders were decent with the Southern Comfort being my fav. The Sriracha Honey glaze made the sandwich! I was disappointed in the onion pedals, as while I can appreciate a light dredge/batter, these pedals were barely coated and some pieces were not coated at all. Before our sliders, we started with the buffalo chicken dip. The dip was tasty, just enough heat and thick. The chips are the house made potato chips, and while good on their own, not my favorite vessel for the dip. Drink wise, they have a full bar with several specials, beers on tap, cocktails, etc...we got a beer and I ordered a Gin and Tonic. My first G&T was solid, but my second was rough. I cannot pinpoint what it was, but it did not taste like a G&T. I confirmed it was what was made, and was assured, which just made me a question it a tad more. Service was a bit hit and miss as well. Our server was friendly, but not super attentive with drinks/refills. Overall, the experience, food and service was just "ok". Nothing terribly wrong or really outstanding. Decent spot for a decent slider and a beer."
"We needed a late night spot that was still serving food! Pour house was an excellent choice! Pour house isn't just bar food. We all got an excellent meal! The appetizers & drinks were great! The entrees were excellent too! Our server was great! There are plenty of TVs to watch various games but it's still quiet enough to have a conversation. We really enjoyed pour house & we'll be back!"
"An intimate spot, that is dimly lit and gives a little southern gothic vibe. I was headed to a goth show at the east room so perhaps it was just also my already tinted lens being applied. The menus are limited, but with some great selections. If you have picky eaters in your party, either review the menu in advance or perhaps try your luck elsewhere. That goes for the food and the wine. I was sold with the wine menu though. They had an orange wine on the list! Rare that a spot carries one. I was starving so I devoured three apps/dishes. I started with the beets and then also ordered the roasted carrots and the burrata.Everything was so delicious but portions are small. The carrots and burrata were listed as shareables but I had no issue polishing them off myself. I even left still a little hungry. To be fair, I did miss lunch. Definitely a quality over quantity spot, so perhaps another factor to keep in mind with your party's needs."
"This is the perfect spot when the weather is nice. Go sit on their large patio, watch the sun set and drink a bushwacker. You can watch as ducks fly over, boats come in for the night and watch planes taking off or landing nearby at John C Tune Airport. It's very peaceful here. Families and date nights alike- this is a good spot for you. If you're looking for a healthy menu, they do have a few options, but we did not try those. The Goods:- free parking in the large lot at the marina- service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. - food was freshly made to order but came out extremely fast - food was really tasty! - Bushwacker (icy chocolatey boozy drink) for the winHere's what we ordered:- Fried cheese curds - we got them "plain" which means they weren't dipped in buffalo sauce. A side of ranch and also marinara are provided and let me tell you- this dish was a delight. So good!- Mahi Mahi Tacos- yum! This dish comes with 2 tacos (you can add a third for $6) and some delicious sauce made with ranch. Also a side that's mixed with black beans & yellow rice. All very good. - French Fries - so crispy with a hint of seasoning and a lot of salt. Just how I like them!- Fried Coconut Shrimp - didn't love that sauce they come with but the shrimp were SO GOOD! The Not So Goods:- You do have to take a ramp from the parking lot to get to the restaurant. I'm not handicap, but I would imagine this ramp might be a little difficult for someone who is. - They don't allow pets on the patio so keep your furry friends at home. I'd love to bring my dog but this isn't a reason to keep me away. - take a jacket or sweatshirt if you sit by the water. It can get chilly. Love that this place is within walking distance in my neighborhood. We will be back!"
"So we came here after church for a bite and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was good. It's a big restaurant so it was busy on a Sunday but it wasn't hard to find a spot. They have outside seating too. They have a big bar and TVs all around the place. The atmosphere is definitely bar/grill but family friendly. We ordered the Memphis burger, the Baja fish tacos and a 12" pepperoni pizza. Everything was really good but my favorite was the burger. The pull pork bbq was on point. They also had drink specials (not picture) but the glass mason jars was massive! I opted for my favorite, draft Guinness. My kids enjoyed their pizza and the space we got had a window my daughter just loved. The bathroom could use an update or a good cleaning but place overall could too. Prices are normal and the drink special for draft was pretty good.Overall, I would recommend and come back."
"I ordered a latte with almond milk and my friend ordered a chai latte and we both liked our drinks. The atmosphere was great and its was a very social feel. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I got a medium and it was around $6.50, then after I tipped it was over $7. To me that is more than I want to pay on a regular basis. A once in a while treat is fine but I cannot make this a regular place to visit with those prices.* Note, if part of their proceeds regularly go to charitable foundations or causes, then I suppose I could justify the extra surcharge and it would be a great place to bring friends or work colleagues since you need to have a meeting somewhere anyway. I am certainly going to go here over the green Mermaid corporate giant that serves crud for coffee, especially for group orders! I'd rather support local every day of the week!"
"food so good, didn't even get the pictures!will be back to try more menu items!shouts to our server for being patient and kind!note that the sauce on the bbq chicken pizza has habaneros in it literal fire but delicious! lots to look at around the restaurant, eclectic decor. thanks for the great service before our evening show!"
"Our Gang of 7 enjoyed our return to Sammy B's Restaurant. Friendly, attentive service on a mid-week evening. Bar was busy. There is now a new menu with daily specials on the menu (Mon-Thurs). Our server was enthusiastic about the new menu, and I would agree. Can recommend appetizers of potato-corn fritters and squash sticks.Enjoyed entrees of chicken marsala, Heights Chicken "Sammich", Rattlesnake Chicken Pasta, Chicken Salad Wrap, Lobster Mac & Cheese, shrimp and chips, and Fisherman's Feast. Topped off with nicely chilled martini. There is a small selection of draught brewskies.History: The building previously was part of the Castle Heights Military School complex. Plenty of parking on a private lot.Alert: Online prices do not always match current menu prices by a few dollars.Open lunch and dinner, and closed Sunday."
"Had dinner here tonight before a show at TPAC across the street. Service was a little slooooooow at first, took a while to actually order. Once we ordered though everything went smoothly. Started w some deviled eggs which were delicious - basic deviled eggs, but tasty for sure. For dinnner I actually ate meat! They didn't have a fish dish I wanted so I had my first steak in a year. It was pretty good! Cooked perfectly and definitely a quality piece of meat. Sides were smashed potatoes (YUM) and broccolini (ALSO YUM), both bathed in butter and we appreciated it. Crowd in here was older (white haired honestly) and mostly wearing suits... kind of a little stuffy. It wasn't busy either for a Saturday night. The food was great but the atmosphere could be a little more modern to me personally."
"My primary reason for going to Roze Pony was to try their soufflé pancakes because I've never had them before and let's be honest they just *look* really cool. Well, turns out they are pretty tasty as well! For breakfast we ordered the soufflé pancakes that came with a blueberry syrup and the baked eggs. The pancakes have kind of a sponge cake like texture and soak up the syrup really nicely. The baked eggs knocked it out of the park, absolutely delicious and a must try IMO. The roze latte was the perfect amount for floral and not overly sweet. Friendly and attentive service. We went early so it was a pretty quiet and relaxed. Can't wait to go back to try some of their lunch items."
