"Wonderful place!! Food is delicious and the service excellent. Laid back vibe - can't wait to go back. Recommend reservation. Limited parking. We ubered"
"I'm not sure when I bookmarked this place, or why I would even do it, but I sure am glad that I did! I am not really a pasta fan you see.... It's one of my least favorite things to eat. It might be that I've never had the right pasta before because this stuff right here is amazing! We were in town for one night with the youngest kiddo for a Vandy visit. She wanted pasta, it was her trip, so I obliged and found this place I had bookmarked near our hotel. Walked in and met a nice man in a chefs coat. He cleared a table for us and we sat down. He asked if we had been there before, nope, so he explained the process of how things work up in here. You order from your phone and things just arrive when they are ready. It's a bit clunky feeling ordering and receiving your stuff. One dish came before all drinks, alcohol was served before soda glasses (get your own soda, but not glasses), one meal at a time served with several minutes between. The pasta dude makes food one dish at a time. The loud ass Italian dude behind the oven screamed at me across the restaurant for looking at him inquisitively while he cooked before we even ordered. Needless to say, the service is strange. I don't give a shit though...This food is amazing! Everything we had was phenomenal. I won't dwell and make this review too long but check my pics attached. Stupid good foods. ALL PIZZAS WISHED THEY HAD THAT ONION JAM!!!! GAME OVERMy 17 yr old, picky as hell, kiddo ate the entire plate of food she had, (I tried it and can confirm it is the best pasta I've ever tasted) and then stole the whole tiramisu for her own consumption after trying to order all of the desserts they had. Get your ass in here. Get it, now! It is really good.'24 - 56/100"

"Made a reservation for 10 at 4:45PM on a Sunday via the phone because the party was too big to make a reservation online. Ordered focaccia, bruschetta, and tagliere misto which was essentially a charcuterie board (on the menu, it says serves 2, but it really serves probably closer to 3-4 as it was huge). The focaccia was essentially their pizza with no toppings, and the bruschetta was tasty. The charcuterie board had some roasted veggies, fresh mozz, and different cured meats, pretty tasty. For my pizza, I got the capricciosa which came with a bunch of different toppings and had good flavor (probably thanks to all the meats on it). The most important aspect is the crust, which was super chewy and tasty. It did however get soggy over time, and that's what I subtracted one star for. Otherwise, it was really good, and my pizza standards are quite high, having been to Italy and lived in NYC. Had tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert, the latter was super smooth and creamy and the strawberry jam on top made for some flavor. The tiramisu was moist and tasty, and both desserts weren't too sweet which was great.Service was attentive and friendly, definitely noticed upselling but that's alright. Tip included in the bill, came out to be less than $400 for 8 which was pretty good, portions were huge and everyone had way too much food. Pizzas can possibly be shared between 2 (I think 2 pizzas for every 3 people is probably good), and the pastas are huge and definitely can be shared between 2. Good quality food, would recommend!"
"Great food and great service. A must try. We went for my husband's birthday. This restaurant has a family feeling but they are super busy. Great cocktails by Jenna, who is magical."
"Hands down best linguine I had in a long time.So here it goes, while visiting from out of town and being asked by coworkers where to eat I came across Trattoria II Mulino while doing a search online and I'm glad that I found this hidden gem!!Location right in the heart of Nashville Downtown.Atmosphere: Basement restaurant from street level with plenty of seating and very modern decor.Food: My guess is they must make the best pasta in Tennessee if not on the entire east coast.Bread and olive oil were very tasty. The meatball appetizer was out of this world and was very delicious! My Linguine with clams was probably the best pasta dish I ever had besides outside of Italy. The pasta, the sauce with a special kick and the clams were just so delicious and mouthwatering. This restaurant was extremely good, and we ended up going there 3 times in a row for lunch while in town. Unfortunately, I didn't try their pizza or other items but each of my co-workers had nothing but good things to say about their food.I'm a fan and wish we had you guys here in Southern California!!!5 stars for delicious food and friendly service.Needless to say, I 'll be back.Enjoy and Bon Appétit."
"Overall, I thought this place was pretty good! It feels like a pizzeria (not a fancy restaurant) and they have an easy location to get to off Lebanon Pike with their own parking lot.I got their Greek salad without cheese & it was better than average. But, I did really enjoy the meatball appetizer I got as my main; they had lots of flavor and the marinara sauce was just right! I would totally come back for this. We also shared the tiramisu, but it wasn't for me; very few ladyfingers and a lot of icing (/mascarpone) and not much coffee flavor. We'll have to try the pizza next time. They don't bring bread to your table, but the entrees come with a side of what looks like frozen Texas toast they put on the grill. A little weird, but okay. I think they have a lot of youngsters working their first jobs ever here for the summer hosting & bussing....but out server was not; she was a total rockstar."
"This is a chain restaurant located in the mall they have a variety of cocktails and seasonalItems. The staff seem friendly, but the friendliness from the hostess was super fake. The bartender was kind, and the drinks were strong. The decor was nice and it was well lit. There is a share of parking lot on the side. You can enter through the outside with the inside of the mall. Hope you enjoy your experience."
"After walking the shops at 12 South - and a friend recommending this spot - the girls and I stopped in for happy hour/early dinner. We were one of the first patrons to enter and decided to sit in the enclosed patio. The rain was coming down and we were able to get the best of both worlds! Our server came over lickety split and was THE NICEST human! He introduced himself, rattled off the specials, provided us with great recommendations for drinks and engaged in fun conversation. He had us laughing and made our experience. We opted to start with a round of drinks - all of which were different. I opted for a fun and flirty cocktail, while the others got wine and a draft beer. YUM!Then out came our fresh Ceasar salads to accompany our delicious medium pizza - The Demartino - featuring salami, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, house mozzarella, arugula and basil chiffonade - which was divine! The pizza, on a thin crust was perfectly cooked, was foldable (essential!) and tasted so fresh! We happily enjoyed as much as we could before boxing up the rest for later.Pricing was on point and I'd easily venture back :)"
"Hands down Nicky's makes delicious and fresh Italian cuisine. They are known for their meatballs and yesterday I finally tried them--huge and full of flavor! Typically, I'm not a spaghetti and meatball kinda gal, but I thoroughly enjoyed this entree. Might I add that this dish is big enough to share or pair with something else and have leftovers (as I did with my salad). I enjoy their pizzas, but I was very pleased with the meatballs and salad and I would order again."

We really enjoyed our dining experience here! Food was fresh and well executed, beautiful space, easy parking, great service... We were especially impressed by the octopus dish. It was so soft and tender! The green beans appetizer dish was a lot smaller than expected but still really enjoyed the taste. The pizza was so great. I love the big thick heirloom tomatoes on it. Super flavorful from all the food ingredients. The pasta dishes were good but not mind blowing. Carrot cake was recommended by our server and it was really good. Very moist and soft. Would definitely come back if I had the chance!

Been wanting to try this place out for awhile not and finally got the chance this week and I am so glad we did! For drinks, I got the stubborn soda - they have an array of options and could change which one you got whenever you wanted to. For food, I got the Amatriciana pasta - spicy and the pinsa bread and my friend got the pesto. The pasta was so fresh and delicious - I even brought leftovers home and my dad said it still tasted really good! The bread was fluffy but thin and was salty and spicy (asked to add chili flakes) and went perfectly with the pasta! Highly recommend checking out!

If you are in the mood for a delicious personal-sized pizza baked to perfection in a woodfired oven, then this is the place for you! My only real complaint, they are not open on Monday or Tuesday.

I enjoyed this cozy East Nashville restaurant. Great service, cocktails and food. I especially liked the skate fish special. It was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth like butter. Recommend!

So for an Italian restaurant, it was too much like a steak house. The food was fine but nothing that I would say was special The service was fine and as expected for the price. It looked like a steak house. We did not like that almost everything was Ala carte. Do you want pasta with your chicken, that's extraMy seafood pasta was fine but for the price. It had way too much octopus. It should have been filled with shrimp and musclesThe desert was unremarkable

Really great take out experience here, and we loved our pizzas. The pick up was smooth and friendly. Caesar salad is tasty, but is very wilted. I think the dressing should be on the side for take out orders. The Lasagna pie and the Blanco are so good. We have ordered here a couple of times, and we will be back.

"We came here for the Beetlejuice pop up Speakeasy. It's going for September to 31 October 2024. Perfect timing for the new Beetlejuice movie! There was about a 30 minute wait, which wasn't bad because we had time to sit at the bar at the Makeready and try a couple of their craft cocktails. The Beetlejuice pop up was everything I'd hoped it would be!! The drinks are outrageously expensive, but it is all for the experience. Warning, don't steel their tiki glasses or you will get charged $100. Apparently everyone was stealing their glasses. The scenery was like something straight from the other side!"
"It's an experience! We had our 10th wedding anniversary dinner here. It's a set seasonal menu, we are vegetarians so they modified their dishes accordingly. Cocktails are average. Starters were amazing (Focaccia and lemon risotto cake were amazing). It's a whole 3 h experience, and multiple rounds of food keeps coming. Dessert is cannoli which is average and Zeppole. It's also unique in that the whole restaurant starts dancing in the middle of the dinner. And the chef's concept is dinner as a big family like Italian families. Overall really nice experience."
"We came here for New Year's Eve dinner on a whim and had a nice cozy time. Right off the bat, the ambiance is fantastic -- it seems to be an old house with an intimate feel because there are just a handful of tables in each room. It also has a nice upscale feel without being way overpriced or stuffy, which I like. We had great attentive service from Graham, who happily provided suggestions, didn't pressure us on time or upsells, and just overall took great care of us. We started with the burrata caprese (and the house bread, because we were starving). Even for winter tomatoes, this dish was excellent and the bread was warm and soft and went nicely with the olive oil. I had the chicken parm and husb had the lasagna, both of which were tasty. And we finished with cheesecake and tiramisu. Big portions, so we wound up taking some of everything but the appetizer home, but we'll be enjoying it again soon.Overall, it's a great date night location because of the intimate vibe and doesn't have overwhelming music like some restaurants (so would also be great to bring parents). They have complimentary valet parking as well, which is another nice touch. Also nice wine list."
"It just occurred to me that, after all these years, I've never written a review for Amicos. We've been dining here for many years, and it never disappoints. Their Italian Stromboli is exceptional and has become our go-to favorite. While we've sampled various items from their diverse menu and found them all to be delicious, we always find ourselves returning to that Stromboli. The consistency in flavor and quality keeps us coming back time and time again. If you're looking for a place that delivers great food and an outstanding experience, Amicos is the place to be."
"Usually get the animal, tried something different. This was fantastic! Great pizza of the month, get in here and grab one in May 24!"
"great place! very clean and high quality food! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
"I wandered in yesterday, evidently for the first time in 13 years. I probably wasn't there at peak good pizza time, but got a burnt slice that was kind of disappointing. Slightly burnt crust, hard crunchy crust that I'm not going to really go into but it's not what crust needed to be, it was closer to a hard breadstick than any pizza crust I've ever enjoyed.I suspect it probably suffered from them reheating it for far too long, I had gotten to the point where I wondered if they had forgotten about it.Betting that were it closer to fresh it would have been quite acceptable pizza, but as with last time I was here the cook time was not quite right.Pizza looked good, I'll give it that. I want to try it sometime when it's not a reheat as I suspect that's what did this great looking slice in."
"YUM! We stumbled upon Il Forno while hanging out at nearby Fait La Force, and were delighted to find that we could order takeout and eat it at the brewery! We placed our order through their website (which appears to be run by Storefront by DoorDash) and had delicious Italian food to compliment our Beligan-style beers in less than 20 minutes! We decided to try the Diavola pizza - topped with marinara, mozz, and calabrese salami. Although Diavola is typically quite spicy, this had a more mild heat to it. Next time I might ask for some red pepper flakes on the side. Even still, the flavors of the marinara and the fresh mozz mixed with a perfectly charred crust made for a tasty pie. We also ordered the Paccheri - bolognese with fresh ricotta. This hearty meat sauce paired well with the creamy cheese, and the noodles were a fun shape which allowed for optimal sauce scooping. Our only critique was that this dish could've used just a bit more salt. I will happily order takeout from Il Forno again the next time I'm in the area - or even dine in to experience their adorable, Napoli-inspired eatery."
"The food here is soooo good! Great pizzas and love love loved the bruschetta! It's so fresh and flavorful."
"My husband brought me here for my 41st birthday. It was such a luxurious experience from start to finish! Our host Ron was gracious and professional and answered all of our questions about the dishes. The wine list was extensive -- I ordered a Reisling which really had the right balance of sweet and crisp flavors. There were plenty of vegetarian options. The appetizers were lovely, especially the roasted artichokes. The spinach ravioli in brown butter sauce was divine and great for dipping bread. My husband loved the eggplant Parmesan. All the pasta is made in-house and is so fresh. They also provided a complimentary tiramisu as a birthday dessert. Ambiance was lovely and they even have a separate event space upstairs. We have not had Italian food this good since we lived in Boston and dined in the North End!"
"Pizza is consistently good. Ordered chicken tenders this time around, didn't care for them."
"This was a nice surprise that our hotel suggested. The place was slammed when we arrived which was a good sign. They quickly had us at a table. It did take a while to take our order and get us our drinks, but they were really busy. The food came out pretty quick and both the kiddo and I enjoyed it. We tore thru o we half the large before finally giving up and getting a box. The best part...under $20!Definitely recommended."
"Yep - it's a keeper. Didn't start well, waited for almost 10 minutes until I hailed someone. It happens. They made up for it with great food, shout out to the crew working hard in the open view kitchen and Savanah gifting one or two items off the bill - goes a long way. The experience thereafter was grand, here we go:- bolognese rigatoni something had a red sauce with fra Diavlo overtones that was excellent albeit pasta was more cooked than I like it but certainly not overcooked. It's was really good.- fried meatballs that were moist and in another decadent red sauce. Wonderful.- arugula salad with a citrus based salad dressing and candied pistachio that might have been the best damn salad I've had in some time.- prosciutto plate with two cheeses: one was like a Romano hard, sharp cheese that was pretty good. The star, the mozzarella was something I'd find on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx's famous Italian market. - dessert was a panacotta treat with a great flavor profile. This place is the real deal. If I return to this culinary paradise that is Nashville, I will return here as well. Bien hecho!"
"Just two miles beyond the periphery of downtown Nashville lies South Side Pub on Nolensville Road. With hard working employees, an extensive menu, and a beautiful and spacious outdoor patio, half of which is shaded, it's a great spot to hang out with large parties. The ratings on all platforms are a shockingly inflated though, perhaps reflecting the alcoholic selections rather than the food. The kitchen offerings are less than impressive, so going here for a drink with friends is probably preferable to planning an actual meal here. The Italian beef sandwich is devoid of flavor, only briefly intriguing with occasional bites of giardiniera relish amidst the bland beef and cheese on an average bun. The fish and chips aren't bad, but while the fish is fresh, the crispy batter is surprisingly underwhelming in flavor. The pub is severely understaffed, so it could take as long as two hours to receive your food during peak hours. But the few employees are incredibly pleasant and very hard working. So please be patient and enjoy hanging out."
"A small, unassuming business nestled in the middle of the world of high rises. It's astounding how many times I walked past this place and didn't even register it existed until I was looking for a good breakfast online - and Varallo's came up again and again. It did not disappoint either! Their omelet was everything I was looking for with lots gooey cheese and served hot enough that I had to wait for it to cool down. Yum! And at a price that was 1/2 what all of the other nearby breakfast places wanted! The biscuits were just as delicious with your choice of strawberry or grape packets to go alongside it. The biscuits didn't need it, though, with soft, flakey, lightly-buttered flavoring that was perfectly warmed and ready to eat. I was "meh" on the oatmeal. I'd guess it's made from standard, unflavored oats because it doesn't have much of a flavor to it at all. Make sure to get some sort of brown sugar or other topping to give it some flavor. All food is served in styrofoam, so the waste here isn't great, but sometimes the nice, cheap prices a restaurant can offer are reflected in how much it costs them to operate, so I get it. A small diner run by just a few employees, expect a little bit of a wait to order and get your food. Some people were calling in to place orders to get them ready for pick-up if you're in a time-rush. Lots of people got their orders to-go (still requires waiting, though, if you order at the counter!) if you don't want to eat at one of their 8-ish four-person tables with armless chairs. Did not see a restroom here for customers."
"We ordered pizza and wings from here a few times while staying close by on Music Square. It's a great spot that offers delivery, perfect for enjoying by the pool, satisfying late-night cravings, or watching a movie! The pizza was good with no issues, and the wings were extra crispy, which is always a plus!We passed by it a few times, and it looks like a traditional pizzeria shop, very well kept inside. I did see some reviews mentioning issues with the deep dish, but we didn't order those, so I can't comment. Overall, I would definitely order from here again!Regarding Yelp, I recently had my Elite status removed after 8 years because I'm a business owner. Despite not being related or affiliated with any food businesses--only a local real estate office in NY--Yelp managers believe a business owner shouldn't be an Elite reviewer. In my opinion, being a business owner shouldn't disqualify someone from providing honest and fair reviews of unrelated businesses. My reviews are meant to be helpful and honest, and I believe that shouldn't affect my Elite status."
"YUM, YUM, YUM!!! I usually get scared off by restaurants if they don't have a 4 star rating, but I just had a good feeling about this place. I've had a hankering for Italian and this hit the spot. Our server was so sweet and attentive, our food was outstanding, and the vino was just as good! It is so cozy in here and makes you feel like you're in a small town restaurant... which you are! If I could recommend anything, it would be the Spicy Diablo Tortellini... I was incredibly jealous of my husbands meal. But the shrimp Alfredo was great, too!"
"Can't say a single thing bad about this place. Five star rating doesn't mean Michelin star dining, rather it means that for an Italian place that stays open 24/7 with good people in the kitchen it is doing everything I'd expect. The guys that work there are always friendly and make a point of saying what's up when I come in. I called to order tonight and the woman that took my order (pretty sure they outsource to another company) spoke wonderful English and was very friendly. Food arrived warm and well made. Great spot!"
"The seven cheese pizza is absolutely delicious! It was ready quickly, and the employees were very friendly. Cute place near the airport and my hotel!"
"Tried this place twice and it's not bad for pizza. We've only tried the NY style. We've also tried a few of the apps (meatballs, cheesy garlic knots, and regular garlic knots) and each time we were very disappointed."
