"When in Nashville you must try Hot Nashville Chicken. I went with "mild" but probably should have tried something spicier like medium! You order first and then find a table to sit at and they bring the food out. Everyone who worked here was very nice and helpful. I recommend!"

"First time trying Hattie B's and they definitely didn't disappoint! I know they're hyped up as one of the best chicken joints in TN so I've been wanting to try them out.My husband and I weren't too hungry when we visited though so we decided to share the dirty bird fries. Highly recommend! It was a good amount for two adults. We both loved the fries with all the toppings it came with. Top notch as far as loaded fries go!Service was quick and the interior was kept very clean. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was packed! But surprisingly the wait wasn't too long for us to get our food.I will definitely be back to try more of their options! Their chicken sandwich and the desserts sound delightful!"
"Do they have a dump truck of wings on their menu? Yes. They absolutely do. Did I order it? Obviously. Would I do it again? Probably. The wings are great, the things are great, the dump truck kind of ruins good wings because it makes it all soggy. But it's a dumb truck of wings, so what are you going to do? NOT order it? Drinks are great. Excellent appt for before a Nashville club game."
"We got takeout cheeseburgers here last night as it was the first place close by that was still open. Although the burgers looked small for the price they tasted very good. The fries were also very tasty, crispy, even though they were crinkle fries. I liked the fact that our togo order came in compostable containers. It looked like it would have been a cool scene to eat there but it was late and we had our toddler in the car, so takeaway it was."
"12/18/23: Last night and we checked out Honky Tonk Central. Another great vibe and awesome band. People for the 2 visit to Nashville within a month's time always a good time to be had in any bar ventured into."
"Ordered delivery through Yelp (who gets it from Grubhub) for 4 people, got:- fresh spring rolls: pretty tasty, good sauce, lots of vegetables, light- spicy noodles (otherwise known as pad kee mao / drunken noodle) with tofu: quite tasty, liked that it was spicy (I asked for it spicy) and quite flavorful. Noodles weren't chewy though and stuck together a bit.- pad thai: comes with chicken and shrimp, not much flavor. Noodles all stuck together, nothing impressive.- red curry with tofu and green curry with tofu: both watered down, flavor was just okay. Asked for the green curry to be spicy which it was so at least that was good. Good amount of vegetables and tofu.Good amount of food, came out to be around $67 post-tax pre-tip, but for whatever reason, there was about $14 of delivery and service fee on top of that charged, yikes."
"Lots of good veggies (onions, peppers, tomatoes and black olives) on the Veggie pizza but the pizza crust and sauce were bland, and there was very, very little cheese on the pizza ....making for a mediocre pizza. The delivery was quicker than quoted, thank you, but I will continue to search for a great tasting pizza."
"A new Greek spot finally opened back up in the old greek spot place near Planet Fitness and Calabria. We'd been missing our greek fix for sure and were thrilled these guys came in and took over. The folks inside are super nice guys and want you to enjoy your food and experience. If you're not familiar with what they have to offer, just ask and they'll be glad to explain everything to you.I'll say this for sure: I haven't had a ton of falafel in my life, but of those that I've had, theirs was the single best ever! Definitely a must-try if you're stopping in. The rest was very good Mediterranean fare with fresh meats, quality veggies, good salads and that must-have cool taste of the tzatziki sauce. Ya'll need to run by here and support these guys so they stick around!"
"Our first stop when we wanted some hot chicken on our visit before heading to some civil war sites! Their medium spice was spicy enough and their lite medium spice was just a big flavor bomb with a slight touch of spice. Our server told us if we have been to the other hot chicken spots around Nashville, then we should order a notch down when it came to ordering with their spice levels because Prince's was hotter than the rest. The French fries also had a bit of seasoning on them and usually I'm not a Ken's ranch fan but something about that ranch dressing and Prince's fries just addictively hit. Also tried the Chess pie, as our server also said this recipe was the closest to his Nana's recipe, it was way too sweet for my taste but I could see why it's a big hit for some in TN. This location seemed to be in a newer development with a string of new home constructions around them, hope they continue to have great success there!"

While we've kept in touch, my best friend/college roommate and I hadn't seen each other in years. We suffered through 4 years of French class, saw each other crush and then held each other after the breakup. We watched our high school football team lose and our beloved Nittany Lions win. We went to each other's wedding. Then boom, marriage, raising children, demanding jobs, elder care and suddenly it's 30 years later. We met up in Nashville for a long talked about weekend of exploring and catching up. Not a lot of alcohol, lots of music, copious amounts of food and lots and lots and lots of talking.Coming from Ohio, I wanted her to experience all of Nashville. Unfortunately she got to experience her first hurricane too. That didn't stop us though. I wouldn't dare let her visit Nashville and not try the hot chicken. Of course I wouldn't think of introducing her anywhere but Hattie B's. We expected the usual line but I guess because of the downpour it didn't even take us 10 minutes to get through the line to the counter to order.I ordered the 3 tender plate with slaw and mac and cheese. I know better so I ordered mine mild. I had so much food left that I had lunch for two more days. I also bought a cobbler to go. Instead of eating it that evening, it spent two days in the hotel fridge - I know the cobbler had been good fresh, 3 day old cobbler was barely just edible. My mild mannered midwestern friend "chickened" out and ordered the chicken sandwich, southern style. While I and everyone I know loves HB chicken, my friend didn't think it was anything special. For her side, I refused to let her get anything but the mac n cheese. (We grew up in the north, where mac n cheese either came out of a box or mom mixed some noodles with velveeta if she were getting fancy.) My friend had never had true southern M&C. Although Hattie B's is actually made with pimento cheese, it is a worthy contender on the table at the county fair. It's one of my favorites. So here we are, a transplant to the South says Hattie B's can do nothing wrong to the northerner's "meh, give me chick-fil-a". I'm sticking with my 5 star review.

For years I've wanted to get to Hattie B's in Nashville! I still haven't been to the downtown Nashville location, but we did finally get it from the newer spot in Franklin. This chicken was as delicious as I expected! The chicken was so moist, it was fantastic. I'm not a big spice guy, so I ordered mild. Even the mild had a nice kick to it. I also ordered a side of pimento Mac n cheese which was so good!I'll still try and get to the original in Nashville, but Hattie B's in Franklin didn't disappoint!

Some of the best bbq thighs we ever had! The dump truck of wings was incredible and we all thought they were the best wings we ever had.The waitress was super nice, quick, and did it with a smile! She was super fun with our group and engaged in our banter. The ambiance is like I expected which was a clean southern style restaurant!

Out and about Nashville, I decided to hit one of the places in the city I have never visited: The Grillshack. Glad I dropped in.The place is rather small. You order on an outside window and then take a seat and they call you when it is ready. As it was slow, they brought the food in for us, saving me a trip. The burger is a pretty basic burger, but has a great flavor. The fries are cut just before frying and sliced into larger sized strips. I swear there was an entire large Idaho on my plate. I also tried the wings, which are nice.I won't say any of the items are the best in Nashville, but this is definitely in the top 10% for burgers and fries. The flavor of the beer alone could be enough to return. They have canned and bottle drinks, no soda fountain, but they do carry the real cane sugar coke from Mexico, which is a giant plus for me.I am rating this for what it is and I would definitely say it is worth of a 4.5, so I am rounding up.

Came in as our last stop Sunday night of thanksgiving weekend girls birthday trip. My two girlfriends were crashing fast but this place picked them right up! They aren't country fans and this was by far their favorite music of our trip! We danced our butts off!We also laughed our butts off! They made me wear a crown and sash and that was quite the attention getter from the young (barely 21) Eastern European boys hahahaha. I also had a Russian guy ask if I was getting married half a dozen times and finally I said yes tomorrow and the face he made was priceless. He was super drunk but that's to be expected on Broadway.

Can't beat Siam Cafe service! With a family run business usually comes smiling faces when new customers walk in. We were welcomed and sat immediately when arriving to Siam Cafe. The dumplings- amazing!! great flavor, not too filling to make sure you have room for your main meal. We got green curry, red curry, and pad thai. The pad Thai was perfectly cooked and fresh. The curries were extremely satisfying. Very pleased with our time at Siam cafe, will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I went for the first time this weekend. While it didn't look like much from the outside, the food was amazing! The cheese was perfect. The crust was fantastic. We had a great experience there and both of us said we would drive out of our way to eat there again. Thanks for a great experience!

"I love Hattie B's Hot Chicken. I'm not normally a spicy food lover, so I stayed away from Hot Chicken when I first moved to Nashville, being scared and saying it's just not for me. Then a friend had a party and got Hattie B's Hot Chicken on a couple of different varieties and levels of heat. I was hungry and had to break down and try them. Boy, am I glad I did. I couldn't stop eating them. Even tho it was hotter than I typically prefer, I didn't care the flavor and crisp was so flipping good, I fell in love. Now, whenever I get a craving for Hot Chicken I go to Hattie B's! The service is always friendly, but it can be obnoxious how busy they get. You feel a lot of pressure to order quick and get out of the way! I can't complain about that though- it's a blessing! The Ambiance is casual and fun. Highly recommend!"
"Great pizza and the wings were awesome. Definitely give it a try! Homemade crust on pizza was delightful and wings were meaty and buffalo spice was spot on!"
"Mood: It's Wing time! Think we have found our go to wing spot in Nashville. Was really good. The sauces were everything. Must try the trap house wing sauce by itself. Service was great, friendly quality, and helpful. The art wall was a HIP HOP classic and love to see culture inside of restaurants. Kilo box 10/10: not going to lie the mini cornbread stole the show. So moist and tasty. Came with wings, burger, fries, and mini corn bread. Was stuffed! Can't believe the price. Hot lemon pepper wings 8/10: think the hot aspect made it taste like just a buffalo sauce. Not bad but not lemon pepper flavor. Will for sure make this return and try other wing sauces."
"I'm usually on the hunt for good wings in nashville and surrounding areas. But this place wasn't it. The wings were small, cold and tasted like they were cooked hours before serving. The sweet and sassy sauce was good. The ranch fries were really good. But overall the place really lacked a lot. They automatically charge you 20% tip (so look at your bill) and the service wasn't worth 20%. Overall I give two stars, they just missed the mark when it came to service, quality and customer service."
"Food is decent for the price. Buffalo sauce was ok, crispness was pretty good. Lemon pepper dry rub leave something to be desired."
"Service was great. Food was DELICIOUS! Great music playing while we ate. Will be back again."
"We wanted to try some Hot chicken and came across this place for lunch while in Nashville. We walked in and placed our order. We decided on 20 party wings and some fries. We ordered three different sauces to try. Our favorite one was the sweet heat. Second favorite was the Nashville hot chicken and third was Flamies mild. The wings were on the small side. Since they were so small they were so crunchy and a bit over cooked and dry. Not very juicy. There were more drumsticks then wings. The fries were big fat crinkle kind. Came out very soggy and soft. Not crisp at all. There seemed to be a steady flow of people coming in. We were the only ones eating inside. Very casual place."
"This bar used to look really new in 2017 while the staff used to seem very experienced like they had been doing it for years. Tall boy cans seem to be the order of the day here and they have tall boys for beers I have never seen tall boys for before. The bartenders were really great, friendly, attentive, provided fast service and remembered my name every time I ordered. They have a small little patio on the side that was mostly filled with the smokers. This seems to be more of a sports bar vibe than anything else and they also have a decent menu and I've sampled some of the food and it is alright but there are way better options in the area these days. The parking lot is a bit small and often is full but it is usually easy to find street parking a block or so away. Overall this used to be a cool little spot to enjoy some sports. Back during my first few visits in 2017 I got the impression here that the staff were really nice folks and the bar offered fair prices and provided a nice comfortable venue so it was just a good spot to be if you were in the area. In the years since my first visit this bar just kept being less enjoyable to me. I used to always make sure to pay a visit to the Germantown Pub during every visit I made to Nashville but now I find it just isn't a place I want to stop at anymore as all the friendly bartenders seem to have left. My video review of Germantown Pub is here:https://youtu.be/1dkdAgmYZug"
"Best hot (fried) chicken I ever had in my life!!! Food was perfectly cooked, perfect crisp and spicyness, fresh, juicy and delicious! Mac and cheese and collard greens were delicious too. Staff were friendly and service was great. This place had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area, and very clean and tidy. Definitely recommend this place, you have to try their hot chicken!! I will definitely be back here when back in Nashville!"
"Since moving to Nashville from Atlanta, we have been on the search for a solid lemon pepper wing. Sadly I report that even after trying Brother Z's Wangs, our search continues. This isn't to say the wings were bad, but they were just "ok". As mentioned above, we were after lemon pepper wings one recent weekend and decided to give Brother Z's a try since it is not far from our place off of Dickerson. We ordered online and had the food delivered. No issues with delivery time or quality of food. We ended up getting an order of 18 lemon pepper wings, an order of fries and onion rings. The fries were standard, and onion rings were fried well and quite tasty. While the wings were good size, the lemon pepper was a very dry seasoning that was just tossed around on the wings. None really adhered to the wing, so I wouldn't describe as lemon pepper wings, as it was more the essence of lemon pepper. Again, the wings were not bad, but just not what we were hoping for. Honestly the more we have wings around Nashville, the more we realize that may just be the way wings are done here. Overall, decent wing and sides. While lemon pepper won't be part of our future orders, we could see ourselves scooping up some wings next time the craving hits."
"OMG! I love a good hole in the wall! The food was slamming! Spicy mango habanero sauce was great on everything! Getting it on your wings and shrimp is a must!!! And the pork skins! I thought I was home in Texas for a minute! Drinks were FIRE! Get a screaming orgy! The music was great! Crowd had good energy too! It was supposed to be karaoke night, but the DJ never really called anybody up to sing. That's why I gave this place 4 stars! This was a really fun night tho!"
"It's official! Official wings has now been named THE OFFICIAL wing spot in the city. I called and placed a Togo order that was ready earlier than quoted. They even gave me a courtesy call to inform me my order was ready. Once you enter the parking lot, don't be like me and attempt to go to the first door you see to open it. Walk around the corner where you'll see a food truck and outdoor seating. This area will definitely come in handy during your warmer months. 5pc Honey Gold wings with lemon pepper sprinkles with fried okra with lemon pepper sprinkles. 5/5 You can't come here thinking you're going to order all "drum" or "flats." Nah baby you're getting the WHOLE WING. Top tier. Once you start adding sprinkles and substituting sides you'll see an increase in price. Definitely check out their menu prior, so you're not caught off guard by any additional charges. I'm a fried okra connoisseur. Okra 5/5 hands down. Crisped to perfection and flavorful. You won't be disappointed. 2nd time having Official Wingz, but 1st time at the Nashville location. If you're in the area and looking for some good wings, look no further!"
"On a dark and dreary Saturday evening I needed good food and quick. My lady was out of town so my usual restrictions related to gluten free and veggie options were not in force so I decided to give full heed to my appetite for something I wanted-something tasty, something comforting and satisfying. A burger and fries. Now, where to go. Since I'm fairly new to EAST Nashville I decided to hit up the Yelps and I remembered that one of the selections presented to me had been recommended by an Eastie, The Grill Shack.I checked out the photos, the reviews and decided it was worth my time, money and calories and made my way down to this literal shack-beside the railroad tracks. It looks like a bait shop or some sort of mom-pop appliance or hardware store form the past but if you look closely you'll see a walk up window, a menu a table with some supplies and a few picnic tables for sitting. The crowd assembled there that night didn't speak or nod or share words, it was like we were there for our fix and didn't want to acknowledge the need we had, for a burger and fries. After ordering we waited in silence until the good goodness was ready. Can I say it was worth the wait and the time and the money and the calories. Both burger and fries were solid, no shame in their game. They have the receipe down for spicy ketchup-it's better than that national joint from TX that's moving in to the Nashville area. If my lady would allow, I'd eat it once on Monday, twice on Wednesday and three times on Sunday. When you need a burger and fries you don't need fancy, you need good honest solid food-Grill Shack is all that and more. I promise you won't be disappointed."
"Something told me to stop here; great choice! Catfish was incredible and the Mac/cheese was real stuff; green beans awesome. It's mostly a to go place but there is a counter snd some stools to sit inside. And it's all prepared for you so you'll wait for it to be cooked (not just warmed in the microwave). I'll definitely stop here again. Good down home food!"
"Prince's Hot Chicken is hands down the best spot for some incredible spicy chicken! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff here are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. They even come up to your table to chat, making the experience feel personal and welcoming. The chicken is nothing short of amazing--perfectly crispy, incredibly flavorful, and with just the right amount of heat to satisfy spice lovers. Every bite is packed with deliciousness that leaves you craving more.We ordered the sweet heat chicken sandwich which is probably my new go to when I don't order their medium tenders. Definitely be aware that they are spicy, medium/mild still has a solid kick to it so I can't imagine how spicy the hotter flavors are. But the chicken is always moist, perfectly crunchy, and packs a spicy punch in the best way. The fries are seasoned well just always order them on the well done side for a great crispy fry. If you're looking for a place with great food and even better service, Prince's Hot Chicken is the place to be. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves good food and great company. Can't wait to come back!"
"We wanted to try the famous Nashville chicken before we head out and BJ Hot chicken was closest to us. Our order took less than 10 minutes and our order was hot, spicy and juicy. The spice was definitely not for the faint hearted and paired so so well with the coleslaw which had a coconut dressing which made it so creamy and delicious. We got in for Happy Hour which offered 2 leg quarters for $7.99 (usual 1 quarter for $7.99). The offer was a steal deal since we were so hungry and everything was wiped clean off our trays. Customers started flowing in once the clock hit 5 and downtown Lebanon got busy too. A beautiful, historic place to enjoy after our meal. Delicious and tasty spot.P.S: the chicken leg quarters are halal and have been verified by the staff."
"Food and service is always amazing!I don't have anything else to add but yelp wont let me post a review under 85 characters"
"More people need to experience this gem! Super super tender tenders ;) The tenders are bigger too. The collards are perfection, but you cannot miss out on the fried Okra, which will ruin having it again from anywhere else. The medium heat on the tenders seemed milder to me than medium at similar places, and flavor you can enjoy without overburn. Food made when you order, so no rushing here! Smaller spot with some tables but more set up to order and go. GET THE OKRA!!!"
"First off, this place has great music. They play music from every decade, including there's. This place has a cult following, but in a good way. When we drove by, the line was around the block. It is like this all day. I really hope employees are paid extremely well and get lots of breaks. They need it. Think of the busiest restaurant you can think of, and this place is much busier. We dis wait in line the fiest day because we wanted the experience of dining in. The next day, we ordered on the app and we're allowed to eat outside. I wanted to try the beer chcheese and peach cobbler, but they were out. Sounds like they haven't had desserts in a while and no telling when they are coming back.Ok, onto the food....I chose the chicken tender meal and it is a very good choice.i oordered Nashville Hot but in medium strength. I really wanted medium buffalo but it doesn't seem to be offered in Nashville. The tenders had almost a tiny bit of sweet flavor to them. Delicious. I ordered a side of pickles but wish they gave more than 5. The Mac and Cheese is excellent. So creamy and fresh The fries are good, not great. Overall, this is basically a cheap place to eat. They give lots of food for about what a Big Mac combo would cost. The quality here is good for fried food. I wish they had Hattie B where I live."
"The BEST barbecue Nachos! Haven't been in awhile but AWESOME little place to check out! Live Music on weekends and Friday night Steak dinner for Reasonable Price! SERVES MEATs AND Veggies throughout the Week"
"Workers are very nice people. Wings on Tuesday are $.69, we got 24 and fries, paid $27 with tip. I like the buffalo sauce but it's not a traditional buffalo sauce, and they were a little too saucy for my preference. Lemon pepper are amazing, would like to try a medium lemon pepper some time. Bleu cheese could be improved. So far, these are the best wings in Nashville."
"Just ran across this place in Carthage, Tn about 3 weeks ago and have already been there twice. Simply put, the best wing place in a 50 mile radius in any direction.Flavorful, fast and twangy. Just perfect for on the go, eating in or taking home for dinner. Will go back I am certain again and again.Prices are reasonable and restaurant and facilities were clean."
