Great place for a date night or larger group! We did the 3 course menu, which included a few "bonus" bites that were just as delicious! Everything was delicious, but the scone/biscuit offered as one of those bonus bites was amazing. Yum! Of the courses I had, the Georgia mushrooms were a highlight. Service was impeccable - parking is easy. We would definitely return!

My sister and I visited Atlanta for the first time because of a concert at the State Farm Arena. Since we had limited time and it was a Saturday, we joined the waitlist as a backup and booked Gunshow. Luckily, a 6 pm slot opened, and we canceled Gunshow (we'll visit another time). Make sure you double-check whether you have the tasting menu or 3-course option selected, we made that mistake, however, weekends fill up quickly. Our waiter told us we could add on another starter. As big fans of Top Chef, we were excited to visit Kevin Gillespie's newest restaurant, I loved seeing his modern take on Scottish food, all with a Southern flair. We loved the details like using the flatware from his home, the local-made ingredients, and the Shaker furniture, which our waiter enjoyed telling us all about. The candle up front and in the restroom was specially made in Scotland for his restaurant. As for the food, some standouts included: Grilled Watermelon and Small Tomato Salad, Grilled Scallop & Peach Glazed Pork Belly, and the Dornoch Dreams. The peaches were so delicious and a must-try when in Georgia. We also really enjoyed the bread course which was a scone/biscuit, so buttery and flaky! We loved how the ingredients were locally sourced and fresh. My only criticism was that the sole could have used a touch more salt, but maybe that's because it was described as a take on fish and chips and I was expecting it to be saltier.Overall, our waiter was clearly enthusiastic about his job and passionate about the food. As a special treat, the manager came over and chatted with us about some must-visit places in Atlanta. She also invited us to tour the kitchen and take a photo with the chef. Chef Gillespie was very kind and took the time to talk about his Scottish roots and the little details he put into the restaurant. This was a night to remember!Tip: The restaurant is pretty difficult to find. Skip over the first parking lot and go to the second one, you'll see a hair salon labeled on the side of the building. It's part of a suite, so you need to go up the stairs and down the stone pathway. It should be on the end on your left.

Let me tell you thisIf you would have told me 3 years ago when I first moved to Atlanta that a fine dining Scottish restaurant opened up and it WILL blow your mind. I would have likely kicked you in the nuts because I'd be under the assumption that after a statement as crazy as that - that you'd try to rob meNadair is one of the best dining experiences I've had in Atlanta or any other major US city in that regard. The food is incredibly innovative yet deeply nostalgic. Flavors are hearty yet light - in a state of perpetual harmony. I was absolutely blown away by the Scottish cheese dumplings, pork shoulder, and lamb tenderloin tartare. To be quite frank, I'd have a meal here with Chef Gillespie over just about any place I've been to in the past 3 years of my fine dining addiction. I like to give high praise whenever I have a good experience. Nadair exceeded ALL expectations and I fully believe that it is the new high water mark for fine dining in Atlanta. Come to Nadair and come hungry. Get the basil cocktail and indulge on the prix fixe or the tasting menu. You cannot go wrong with any option you pick here. It's seriously all amazing

I took my fiancée for his birthday. The staff were so lovely from our server Rell and sommelier to the Chef himself. Every course was just beyond delicious. Obsessed and now want to attempt the biscuits, cornbread purée and potato pave at home. We even had a little rabbit visitor outside we gave a good Scottish name to. Rona the Rabbit. Kilts and plaids encouraged!! My only nitpick is we needed a basket of those biscuits to mop up any last bits on the plates. God they were good and I shall dream of them tonight. Thanks for a great experience Nadair!

Great date night spot. I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, very on point with the concept. The food was well thought out and had great flavor. The service was amazing with all of the courses thoroughly explained. I thought maybe three courses would not be enough food, but with the amuse it was plenty. It is slightly hard to find the building from the road. But I definitely want to go back and do the tasting menu next time.

The flavor profiles were delicious. The combinations of locally sourced, Scottish, and southern dishes were inspired, and creative. However, the portions are more like an amuse bouche than a course. You will leave hungry after getting lots and lots of points on your American Express Card. And, the second reservation is right behind you so don't linger over your meal. You will be politely asked to leave when your allotted time is up. It was less like dining than complying with institutional efficiency. Tasty though and liked the plaid.
