This was my first time here. I only came off the recommendation of some trooper friends of mine.I went through the drive thru and ordered the "Pile On" burger. Honeyyyyyy, that thing was soooo freakin good!!!! It had buffalo fries underneath drenched in buffalo sauce and chipotle ranch. I'm usually not a fan of a bunch of stuff on my burger but this thing had been so good. I took a bite and damn near fell out. It was an explosion in my mouth..... of favor!!! Yes honey, it was so damn good, it was better than _____ (you fill in the blank)Oh yes, I most definitely will be back. My ONLY complaint was that the card machine wasn't working due to internet being down. So the owner had to manually put my card in. If there are any issues with the amount charged to me ($11.98) then this whole review will be null and void. Grade on taste: Mother Freakin A

I was grateful for the addition of food trucks to the Anime Weekend Atlanta lineup of offerings. Mix'd Up was the first one I tried. I had a burger. Specifically, I had something called the Texan. The Texan was, of course, BIG--an open-faced mountain of angus beef, bacon, and cheese, piled with a generous portion of pulled pork, drizzled with delicious barbecue sauce, and a chipotle ranch slaw. It took me a minute to strategize how to eat it. But I dove right in.My initial reaction: "Man, there is a lot going on with this burger." It was a perfect combination of flavors. Truly, something of a Texan gastronomic hoedown. It worked. It worked very well. There were a delicious looking variety of "strings" being produced for other customers. I did not try them. But these folks look to be doing some fun and interesting experiments with a pile of fries and ways to top them / flavor them. Everything from chili-cheese fries to rotel fries to Italian seasoned fries. It looked good. Maybe next time I'll have some. Now keep in mind that AWA was slammed, and the line for this food truck was lengthy. This didn't stop anyone from being friendly. And my food was produced with alacrity. And I want another burger. Holler if you're coming with.

Love their burgers. My favorite is the Rockin Hero (lamb). 2nd fave is the Santa Fe (black bean). I've been trying other selections and doubt that I will try them all as the descriptions don't look appealing tomy eye. Today, I'm trying the Flyin Mix (turkey). I'm not giving it 5 stars because the Fries are separate and I believe $4 or $5 is to high. Wish they would offer a combo and increase the BURGER prices by $2.

I FOUND my new OBSESSION and will update my yelp profile for it and it is CURRY KETCHUP! Have people done this before, heard about it, tasted it??!?! If so why haven't I heard about it. Sweet with a kick! My co-worker tasted it and she will attempt to make it at home tonight.I had the lamb burger also known as the Rockin Hero and it is delicious! The lamb was tender and there wasn't too much bread. Great portion side and the fries were yummy I ate every last one. This truck is awesome, not only is the food amazing but the owner Brett is very friendly and is passionate about his truck. Plus their food truck rating is 100 with the Dpt of Health ....yes for clean, safe, and delicious. People say it's on the expensive side but it's gourmet street food...where do you get lamb that's high quality on a food truck? It's going to cost you seven bucks, you get what you pay for and I love great food. :)On Wednesday they have several food trucks come by Underground Atlanta and I have been to a couple food truck events/festivals and I have never seen this truck. Definitely try it and tell Brett I sent you via Yelp! :)

"You don't wanna get mixed up with a guy like me. I'm a loner, Dottie. A rebel. " -- Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985)I'm a food truck supporter...a fan...a fanatic. I love to try out new trucks and really love the food truck outings so I can get items from multiple trucks. After just reading about them on the Zagat list - 9 Best Atlanta Food Trucks to Follow This Summer, I was thrilled to find them at Dunwoody Food Truck Thursdays. After looking over the menu, I opted for the Rockin' Hero Bite. The menu board said $3, but it turns out it was smudged and it is actually $8. Okay - so it is full sized and not really a "bite." Fix the name. (By the way, this burger is listed as $7 on their website - so if prices vary based on the location - take prices off your website. Now back to the food... The RHB is a Lamb Burger with tzatziki, spinach, tomatoes, and chunks of Feta on a Ciabatta bun. Now, that is how it was listed, but the bun we got was not ciabatta. The burger was delicious. Not $8 delicious, but delicious nonetheless. It had a bit too much of the tzatziki sauce on it, so it was going everywhere, even dripping down my arms. I ended up scraping some of it off as I ate. But the combination tasted like the perfect gyro - in burger form.I'm definitely a fan and would consider eating from them again, but they should consider dropping the prices - even by $1. The food is great, the prices a little high, but overall a great concept.

Mix'd Up has my favorite Black Bean Veggie Burger they call the Santa Fe. It has avocado, a spicy mayo and onions on it. It's got a great crisp to it so it doesn't completely fall apart on you like some others that have a very mushy consistency. I usually go to the other location but was driving by when I noticed this location for the first time. It has a drive thru!!!! I ordered my burger and waited only 5 or 6 minutes. There was a car ahead of me. Even when I can't finish this burger in one sitting it's still delicious a few hours later and I don't even need to warm it up. Mix'd Up remains my go-to place for veggie burgers.

I agree with the other reviewers that the food is sort of on the pricey side, but in my effort to support the food truck culture, I went on Food Truck Thursday in Cabbagetown. My SO decided on El Sombrero (chorizo) burger and I got the Rockin' Hero (lamb) burger. Our bill came up to a bit over $20 for the burgers, an order or fries, and two bottled drinks. Burgers were juicy, albeit not as big as some other burger joints (better for my waistline, but it probably didn't fill SO's belly). Fries were actually really yummy and crispy.Maybe it was the weather that early afternoon or the green tea lemon cupcake with pomegranate frosting that I snagged from Sweet Cheats but I felt that the money was well spent. Go out and enjoy the community vibe that this awesome neighborhood in Atlanta gives off during this fun event (every Thursday, as far as I know).

I had a chance to eat at this truck as no other trucks were open for lunch this afternoon. The line moved fast and I ordered a braised short rib sandwich. I was offered fries but at $3 extra I declined. The food came out fast and they accepted credit cards, which is great.Sadly though the food was way below par. The beef was very salty, too salty to eat. It also had, I believe, pimento cheese which was really too much for this sandwich. The pickled onions were good though and I think the sandwich has potential - in its current state though it is not worth the $7 they are charging for just the sandwich.Try some of the other trucks in the area, better food and value.
