Sushi Bombs - North Miami

Wow! I came here a few years ago and it was not the same. My understanding is that they are under new management. The service was outstanding and the food was so fresh. Dario served us and made some great recommendations based off what we wanted to eat, he also mentioned that the salmon had just come in super fresh so that motivated us to get menu items with salmon in them - and they did not disappoint. The salmon tartare was to die for you could taste the freshness and he recommended we order a roll off the new menu the Ajisai roll - Also super fresh and amazing ( a little spicy with the jelapeno but still super flavourful). The restaurant is small but very clean and nicely decorated.

My husband and I were craving some sushi late at night and stumbled upon this amazing spot. The food was absolutely delicious and left us feeling satisfied. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was top-notch - our waitress was very attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I overheard her mentioning that they were planning to update their menu soon, but I'm really hoping they don't remove their firecracker roll from the list - it was simply amazing! All in all, we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back again.

I visited this establishment on September 22nd around 6pm. We were a party of three and was able to choose our seat since it was pretty empty. The server promptly came to bring us water and provided plates and utensils. She advised us on how to get the menu and gave us some time to look it over. We ordered a few different rolls and the chicken fried rice. The rolls were delicious and everything tasted fresh. I also enjoyed the rice. We ordered the rice to share and it is a lot, we probably would've been fine with the regular size. But we just took the leftover rice to go. The restaurant was very relaxing and has excellent lighting. The seats were comfortable and you have an option of sitting inside or outside. The parking situation is a bit tricky but it's not bad. Since the restaurant is located in plaza with other establishments and an urgent care you may not be able to park super close to the restaurant.

This cute little spot serves delicious Asian fusion cuisine in the heart of North Miami. They have a good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. So when you're in NMB, come sail away with Sushi Bomb's fantastic rolls like their Lobster Bomb (served in a boat) and Island Blast rolls plus their tasty appetizers like the Mini Krab Bombs and Flaming Hamachi. Not only the service is good but the food is absolutely yummy. Second time visiting this location, the sushi was still good but I didn't like the calamari. The calamari tasted like rubbery onion rings.

What a menu! Definitely can be a little overwhelming but overall pretty good. Sushi rolls yeah big! Our waitress totally nice & friendly. Will be back.

Listen. You gotta come here. The rolls we got were fantastic. Get the Rolling Salmon first for a protein filled, smooth, subtle but still flavorful, easy to eat roll. The salmon texture was lovely - soft and tender. Pro tip: side of eel sauce for a little extra sweet touch. Then the roll that can't be missed is the Pinku Maki. Sweet and salty and crunchy and an all around flavor town experience. Our server Amanda was very sweet, she was great. We came at 9:30pm on a Wednesday and the place was pretty empty. Soft alternative Latin music playing (classic Maná). Food came out super fast. We also ordered a house salad and miso soup - both good and good sized portion. Absolutely recommend this spot!

I've been wanting to try the food here for some time. I decided to call and place an order. The young lady who answered the call was very helpful. The customer service she provided was refreshing. Customer service over the phone and while picking up was great. The food smelled amazing. It was ready when I went in for pick up. I'll be ordering from here again.

I used to be a loyal customer and ordered a few times a month for about a year, but in the last six months or so the quality has been so disappointingly inconsistent. From the taste to the portions, I've come to the conclusion that it's not worth it.Last Friday I ordered my go to order: chicken/steak fried rice, steak fried rice, and 3 rolls. The rolls were good as they almost always have been. BUT THE RICE? I'll leave the pictures attached but at what point is $13 or $15 appropriate to charge for that much rice?! IN THIS ECONOMY? I understand we're in a recession but how is that reasonable??? I was so annoyed I called and spoke with the manager and asked how this was acceptable to pay $28 for some sad excuse of a portion of rice? All I was given was a half ass apology and a promise for a discount next time I ordered.There will not be a next time. Steer clear if you wanna get the portions you pay for.
