"Very fun and truly an artful experience from decor to food, it was good time. Beautiful execution on dishes, love the limon juga forward dishes, lots of juice that help to balance and spring that fresh in the ceviche. Sushi rolls were nicely plated and cut thin and consistent to be a perfect bite size. Will definitely be back for dinner and drinks!!"
"After seeing some photos and reviews on here, I decided to stay away from the sushi. Ironic, I know. I will never settle for average sushi. It just wasn't worth the risk in my opinion. HOWEVER!!! The fried rice was s c r u m p t i o u s . So glad I went with this option. Also a really great price at $10 or $11. They give a generous amount of chicken and the creamy hibachi sauce goes really well with it. So well that my friend started taking everyone else's hibachi sauce and drenching his fried rice with it. Maybe a little extreme. We finished off with the brownie tempura icecream. The warm crisp texture of the brownie tempura accompanied by the creamy vanilla icecream. It was so satisfying..had everyone's eyes rolling back (nsfw). I can't and won't continue. Just go try it."

Visit Restaurant Page"I ordered Yubi Box Sushi through DoorDash, so I can't comment on the in-person service or ambiance. However, I found the food to be delicious. I chose the three-roll combo, and I was pleasantly surprised by the neat presentation upon arrival. The sushi was well-packaged in a box along with edamame. While the rolls were slightly smaller than I expected, they were still flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal, and it was reasonably priced. I noticed a happy hour deal on DoorDash, though I can't guarantee its availability when you check."
"Ordered DoorDash and it was delivered very quickly! I ordered the volcano mix roll and a dragon roll. Sushi was fresh and delicious. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes in my sushi so I might get the volcano mix roll without tomato next time, but otherwise it was great. Prices were very reasonable and portions were a good size for sushi. Will be ordering from here again!"
"Amazing food every time! Daek in Midtown Miami is a gem for Thai cuisine lovers. They offer a fusion of Thai tapas and sushi, which is great to satisfy more than one craving when my partner wants sushi but I'm craving a yummy duck salad ;). The authenticity of flavors is 5 stars for me! The duck salad is a standout, can't go wrong with the papaya salad either. Their curry dishes are a must-try, rich and aromatic. The seating ambiance is nice too, and the service is consistently swift and accommodating. A go-to spot for satisfying Thai cravings in Miami!"
"I had heard mixed reviews about VARSOL and last night I decided to order takeout to satisfy my sushi craving. I'm so happy I did because it was some of the most delicious takeout sushi I've had in a while!I opted for the Salmon dream salad which is served over Wakame and avocado as well as a yellowtail hand roll. The fish was super fresh and both were fabulous. I was full from the order because the salad had so much salmon. I will definitely order again and hope to stop by in person soon!"
"My new favorite sushi place. Quality food. Classic and unique flavors. Quick service with the conveyor belt constantly bringing you your next plate. Super chill and fun vibe & staff. The manager Dayna was very attentive and helped with additional requests. My favorites were:Torched salmon rollLittle Lucy towerEel & cucumber"
"Little hidden sushi spot down in west Kendall. I've been living in the area for almost 8 years and never knew this place was so close by! My boyfriend and I noticed it was take-out only upon entering the restaurant and were a bit bummed as we wanted to have a date night out. Either way, we still placed our order for a crunchy roll, a JB roll, and a chicken fried rice. The crunchy roll was jam packed wish tuna, spicy mayo, and topped with little crunchy pieces. The perfect combo of spicy, fresh and a little crunch. I ordered the JB roll without cream cheese (cream cheese in sushi is the bane of my existence) making it a simple salmon & avocado roll. I was pleasantly surprised with how stuffed my roll was with THICK pieces of salmon! The rolls were delicious and very filling and at a great price, mine came out to just under $10. Their spicy mayo actually had a little kick to it, unlike the many spicy mayos I've tried at other sushi restaurants. The fried rice was definitely not the best and I probably wouldn't order it again but I would definitely come back for just some rolls. If you're looking for a casual sushi spot in west Kendall I would definitely recommend checking out sushi corner. Would be perfect for a movie night in, a picnic, or just a quick dinner/lunch."
"Like many restaurants in Miami, Blue Ribbon is located in a hotel, specifically within The Plymouth Hotel. The menu may be small, but offers a thoughtfully curated selection. We started with the Miso Soup and ordered the Sakana San Shu and Negi Toro for our rolls. When our order arrived, we were surprised to find that we had to mix the miso into the broth ourselves. While the rolls were on the pricey side, they were of exceptional quality. We also sampled a dish from the Japanese charcoal grill, which was good but didn't stand out as much as we had hoped--more like something you might find at a typical Japanese BBQ but twice the price. Overall, Blue Ribbon provided a perfect escape from the usual hustle of Miami, offering an intimate and more quiet dining experience."
"We found this on Yelp just looking for a good sushi spot. We didn't know what to expect and honestly I don't want to ruin the surprise buuut... it's inside a beautiful building thru a side door and into another little world. It's so cute and trendy but doesn't try to hard and the best part was the affordable prices with great portions and the most I mean it, the moooost fresh delicious tasting quality of fish. It was so satisfy we ordered so much food and it was all a banger. Try the ramen and the specials and if you can't trh it all at once go back bc we intend to make this our regular sushi spot!"
"I am incredibly impressed with The Den- their michelin-starred sushi Omakase experience was absolutely comparable to the ones I have had in Orlando. Fresh fish, and creative and simple flavor combinations. My favorite part of these dinners is always the hand-passed sushi. I especially loved the simple melon dessert. I saw some reviewers say they were still hungry but I was filled to the brim after my dinner. I also felt the teas given at the end were a really nice final touch. If I were in Miami, I'd consider going back."

We stopped in for an early dinner so it wasn't full. Great atmosphere, modern decor. We ordered the miso soup and shrimp shumai as appetizers, both were good. The Alaska roll was great (but a bit pricey at $23) and the Vanessa roll was very good. Service was good, very attentive server and quick delivery. Overall a very good experience.

My recent dinner experience at Daek left a lasting impression, and I'm eager to share my positive review. The ambiance of the restaurant exudes a relaxed and casual vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long day. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. When it came to the food, Daek truly delivered. I opted for the pad Thai, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's skillful mastery of Thai cuisine. The dish was solid in every aspect, from the perfectly cooked noodles to the harmonious blend of spices and ingredients.Throughout my meal, the staff remained attentive and accommodating, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of delightful. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. In summary, Daek offers a winning combination of great taste, flavor, and friendly service. Whether you're craving a casual meal or looking to explore Thai cuisine, Daek is a solid choice that won't disappoint. I look forward to returning to try more of their delicious offerings.

Tiny but mighty! This local spot in Coconut Grove looks small from the outside, but offers incredible sushi and A+ service. I sat outside at a table with a few others (some locals), and we were quickly greeted by our server who brought us fresh water, as well. One of the people in my party had been there before and had great recommendations, and the restaurant was kind enough to bring us out some appetizers on the house and they were INCREDIBLE. The plating/presentation alone was gorgeous, but the ingredients were so fresh in the tuna tartare and the Alex #2 was my favorite roll. The fried rice was also delicious and the perfect portion to share and pass around. Our minds may have been bigger than our stomachs because of how good the apps were, but we couldn't bear the chance of not ordering enough for the table.

Finally got the time to come visit this Kaiten style sushi joint I had added to my never ending list. We don't have a lot of these around and the other one I know of, even though it'd be considered the OG, I'm not a fan of. This place is spotless in cleanliness and that's a bonus for me. Relatively new to the area I'd consider this a hidden gem for sure. This is kinda like the conveyor belt Kaiten style except is powered by a water stream that's pushing the boats around and it's also super relaxing to watch. I had several plates stack up after trying a few dishes, like the tuna tartare, rainbow roll, shrimp tartare, torched salmon nigiri and crunchy crab salad all washed down with a nice cold Kirin beer; then end with chocolate coconut mochi ice cream. The owner/manager was on site and took the time to explain how the system worked and a few of the dishes as well, so service is A1. He was very attentive and helpful at all times. Food was fresh, delicious and not overpriced like some people are complaining about. One beer, five dishes and a dessert for under $60 with 20% gratuity is not breaking the bank for a good meal in Miami considering you end up spending over $100 every time for similar places. Obviously, this is not an Omakase fine dining experience but it's priced adequately for its portions and quality. I've been to that other joint at the Beach and it's about the same in quality but old and kinda dirty. Yes this joint is newer but cleanliness has to do with the people who run the place and how they care to project themselves. Anyways, only minor issue I see with location, even though I didn't have any problems, would be the parking situation. I can see how finding parking in that small shopping center could turn into a inconvenience for people on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Other than that, this is a joint I'd come to when the sushi cravings kick in and I don't want to spend a fortune.
Visit Restaurant Page"TLDR: fusion Peruvian Japanese food in downtown! I personally love fusion food because it combines the best of both worlds. It also allows people to try new flavors without venturing too far into it (for all the picky eaters). FOOD Salmon delight: I don't know why I'm so impressed by the little flakes of gold, but it's definitely a nice visual touch. This roll is great for someone who's not looking for too much rice. I was pretty surprised by how much they give as well. Octopus ceviche: relatively affordable octopus! However, I thought that this needed some more acidity to balance out the flavors. Hamachi Deluxe Roll: more of a classic (American) Japanese sushi roll. Though, I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't like heavier rolls because of the sauce Lomo Saltado Roll: my favorite thing all night. It's sushi rolls surrounding a mountain of lomo saltado. Who can say no to that?Thai Donuts: my second favorite thing all night! The donuts were freshly made, and not stale at all. Paired with the condensed milk and ice cream... it was a perfect way to end the meal. DRINKS Lychee Saketini: love this as a quiet night type of drink (I don't know if that makes sense haha) AMBIANCE This is a smaller establishment right next to the metro stop. It had hole in the wall vibes yet still somewhere to take a casual date. SERVICE Great service! The waiter Juan came and explained everything on the menu because we were confused on what to order haha. He made some great suggestions as well.VALUE This is where I'm conflicted. It isn't particularly cheap/budget friendly but it's not a "dressed up" kind of place. However, it is sushi/raw fish and I don't trust cheap raw fish haha. Also, some of the dishes were unique and things you can't find elsewhere."
"The food was great and the service was also great. Johnny was our server, who listened to our flavor profiles and made excellent recommendations! We loved it and had a great time. The mango sticky rice is a MUST have for desert. The Basil duck was really good and perfectly cooked. My friend said though the Pho had good flavors, it was still lacking. I thought it was good, but I'm not a pho expert. This place has been around for years and for good reason. Enjoy!"
"came out here after seeing that they do fluffy Japanese pancakes and its been a struggle to find a place that does in south florida. Found 1 other spot in boca but after reading reviews seemed this would b may more legit. When we got here so many other good thing on the menu so we decided to order a bunch of stuff and share. Got the sushi pizza, bacon bond, pancakes, fresh juice, Romeo and juliet roll, and nuggets and fries for the kids. Everything was amazing.. the the pancakes did not disappoint! highly reccomended!"
"I hadn't been to this place in 7 years. I was surprised the layout has completely different. The inside is gone and is now a tent outdoor or fully outdoor. Staff is great and service is very fast. Happy hour prices are great!Food was ok. We got the dragon roll, lychee roll and sesame tuna. Everything was good but never fully up to expectations. The tuna I would never order again because there was a large amount of mayonnaise underneath it and it ruined the whole dish. Sangria was good."
"I really like their sushi. I've only ever gotten it to go, but some day I'll definitely dine there. It's very cute inside.I've had many rolls here and none have ever disappointed me. I really like their Crunchy Roll, so I usually get that and then whatever other rolls. I like that they have plenty of rolls & appetizers that don't include shrimp (I'm allergic to it but can eat other shellfish....strange! I know!). Besides the rolls you expect, they also have rolls with scallops or conch. They also have appetizers with octopus & ones with wahoo. We like to get a side of the veggie tempura or just the sweet potato tempura. Overall, I think this place is a great local restaurant whenever the sushi crave hits you in or around Westchester!"
"I came here this last Sunday to continue a friend's birthday celebration. The outdoor tables were perfect after a day in the beach, plus as a bonus we got to enjoy some jazz music being played across the street at the city park (though I'm not sure if this was directly related or the restaurant.)We both wanted something light, and their flatbreads and caprese salad hit the spot! The salad had a creamy ball of mozzarella, fresh greens and most originally - grapes! My flatbread was more like a vegetarian pizza with a little drizzle of marinara, shredded cheese and sliced plum tomatoes. They didn't have prosciutto, just regular ham. First world problems, I know, but as a foodie...Since it was my friend's birthday, our waiter brought out both yummy caramel flan (loved that it was served with coffee grounds and chocolate. The flan was creamy and not overly dense. They also brought biscotti with "Happy Birthday " written in chocolate for a nice touch! As far as drinks, the moscato I enjoyed was a great wrap to the weekend."
"Did takeout for late lunch: ordered online at their website. All was ready for pickup with a big smile and appreciation for the customer. The steamed Gyoza were tender and delicious, the dynamite shrimp is good and plenty (needs more of the spicy Mayo though). The three Rolls for $30 is a great value and all three Rolls were fresh and delicious. Food is delicious but moreover, it's the friendly service by the young lady packaging our pickup that makes you come back more often. Thank Sushi2Me Team!"
"Our service was awesome, very friendly people EVERYWHERE. They work as a team, picking up dishes, grabbing drinks, etc. I was not over impressed with the food, it was tasty, but nothing too exciting. I'd go back because you get polite friendly service."
"I came here with tempered expectations, partly since I'm rarely impressed by these combination sushi/Thai restaurants and partly because I'm rarely impressed by restaurants in this area, but I was very pleasantly surprised. My rainbow roll was generous in size, with a healthy serving of fish, and tasted very fresh. I started with a vegetable soup, which was also fresh and tasty.Service was very prompt and pleasant, the restaurant was clean, parking was easy, and prices were quite fair. I will 100% return to try something else from the Thai side of the extensive menu."
"I convinced my friends to go allllll the way to Sobe for a Spice dinner, and not a single regret! Thanks to Morocco and Austin (and truly, the whole staff) for making the experience so delightful. Our group arrived at different times, so we all started with cocktails at the bar for happy hour. I really enjoyed my saketini, which was sweet but not overpowering. For dinner, I started with the nigiri flight (with the extra $10 upgrade to 6 pieces). I think this was the highlight of my meal, and I spent the rest of my meal wishing I had just ordered more tuna nigiri! Not to say the wagyu fried rice wasn't lovely - it was, but was such a different flavor from my starter. Rich, heavy, and a soft boiled egg with the most delicious yolk. I ended with the peach cobbler which I could've skipped if it weren't for Spice. It was good, but not great, and while the peaches added a nice texture to the cobbler, not much of the bourbon or cinnamon flavor profile I was hoping for. I'd come back to try a different dessert in the future.Throughout the meal, drinks were filled quickly and staff were checking in on us without hovering. The multiple off-menu Spice options were a nice surprise, and definitely inspires me to return to try another aspect of Kissaki's dishes. I also really like the decor, which was both cozy and chic - great for date night! And most of all, I love an open kitchen where you can see all the painstaking effort that goes into each dish. One thing to note, the tables aren't great for groups. Come as a couple or sit at the bar - I'm short, and my knees were still knocking against the table legs as we were in a corner booth with an extra table pushed together. Luckily I like my friends, and plates were whisked away quickly so the small space wasn't too much of an issue. Also, parking in the public lot along South Pointe was super easy."
"The bar has its own unique vibe, and the food matches it. There are live entertainment acts that go along with the vibes and a DJ set. Cheers to them."
"It's been years since I've been here, and I'm so glad I came back. We came here on a whim after a late event and the sushi was surprisingly really good! My favorite was this torched yellowtail jalapeño roll. We also got the spicy tuna roll, but the price wasn't worth the amount of rolls it came with. The croqueta appetizer was great, pig ears were too salty (basically left untouched), and lamb chops were amazing!!! I'd come back just for the lamb chops and sushi"
"This place is in a quiet part of Design District, but it's on a main street and impossible to miss. I stumbled upon this spot on a rainy day and it was honestly one of the best Thai/Japanese meals I've had in a really really long time. The service was great, everything was efficient and the food came out fairly quickly. I was craving Ramen as well as some fried rice with red curry and wowww. 10/10 on ALL the food. The ramen, out of the world!! The flavor was amazing, the broth, the ground chicken, delicious. And the red curry with the fried rice was also perfect. Fulfilled all my cravings. The sushi was a little plain, but I had picked a very simple tuna sushi, so that's on me. Other than that, It was soul comforting food. I can't wait to come back and try some different sushi and the other ramens."
"I recently dined at Queen and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance and decor were top notch, creating a perfect setting for a special evening. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. The food truly stood out. The ribeye was excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. However, the smoked potatoes nearly stole the show with their unique smokiness and amazing flavor. They were a delightful surprise and a must-try. The lobster was also succulent and fantastic, rounding out a memorable meal. While Queen is on the pricey side, with our meal for two coming in around $300, it was worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning."
"We love sushi runner in Doral. The service is always great abd their food is delicious. Our favorite is the NY roll and we love that you buy 2 rolls and you get one free every day! On thursday afternoons they also have the half price rolls which comes out to cheaper, I dont know any other sushi restaurant that does these types of promotions. Must try!"
"Phenomenal prices for Miami Beach. Very low key takeout spot (although they do have some tables for dining in) with rolls, noodle dishes, etc.Rolls are around $5-7 each and noodle dishes are around $8. Portion sizes are generous. I enjoyed the steak udon and the California roll but everything I had was pretty decent. The people working are friendly and they crank out orders pretty quickly. You really can't beat it for a sub-$15 lunch on Miami Beach, especially for reasonably good sushi. I would absolutely recommend this place and would visit again for an easy, inexpensive meal"
"This restaurant blew me away- it may be the best new restaurant of 2024?! Being from LA, I really missed Japanese food outside of sushi and the flavors here really remind of the flavors from back home. Their prices are also extremely fair for the quality of ingredients. FOOD My must try items are the soft shell crab and any of the pintxos. My favorite were the seared uni salmon and the unagi ankimo. It was also my first time trying snail and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! SERVICE Quick and nice! The owners are around too and I love when the owners are involved with their restaurant. AMBIANCE Casual and a very nicely decorated little corner restaurant. It's not a huge spot. They have several bar seating as well."
"Siam Rice is our top place in the neighborhood. This is truly a 'hood gem. We eat takeout at least once a week or every two weeks; never had a fail here. Everything is always top notch- from sushi to hot entrees. Cant go wrong, seriously. We have had pretty much everything. Our go tos are:pad see ewchicken satayfresh rollssashimissushiusuzukirisvarious sushi rolls (shelfish-free)Definitely stop by or take out. We are super happy they have adapter as a result of the pandemic and it was our pleasure to continue support this local restaurant. Thank you for always keeping 100% consistent. We love your food!!"
"Paperfish is one of my favorites places in brickell. The combination of fresh delicious seafood and a very cute pink forward ambiance inside gives you the high scale dining experience without needing to wear a suit and tie. The staff is always so kind and helpful with recommendations. While not the most vegetarian friendly menu in town you can still find things to enjoy if you are looking to dodge seafood entirely. One of my favorite dishes is actually the miso soup. It's very simple yet flavorful and a great appetizer before you get to the main course. I also really love the inside / outdoor option. If it wasn't so hot out I would have definitely preferred to sit outside, but the inside was still a great atmosphere."
"Ohana is great, and not just because they're my local sushi joint. They have fun and creative rolls with generous portions, and if you have an eagle eye you can spot a coupon once a month in your local mailer that makes them a really solid deal. Their lunch happy hour is one of the best deals and meals in Kendall. You get a full size specialty roll of choosing from nearly any on the regular menu, a choice of salad (wakame or wakame special), choice of soup, and an appetizer. They also do a decent happy hour with some great food specials, but I haven't had a chance to try it. Personal faves: Ike roll, Waku roll, Tuna tacos, and the Yuzu salad."
