"Pros: Acurio's restaurants always exceed my expectations. We had a delicious feast, starting with the churros as an appetizer, wow, so original and delightful! I had the beet crab causa and hubby had the seafood pepian. The pepian was the star of the night, reminded me of my grandmas cooking, pure perfection. I also had the chicha sour and hubby had a non alcohol drink, both were good.Cons: you have to valet park, which is always annoying (for me). The parking is $18 with validation, overpriced.I didn't mind the price of the meals, but the drinks were too pricey $19 for a small sour is a bit much.Definitely going back!"

Visit Restaurant Page"TLDR: fusion Peruvian Japanese food in downtown! I personally love fusion food because it combines the best of both worlds. It also allows people to try new flavors without venturing too far into it (for all the picky eaters). FOOD Salmon delight: I don't know why I'm so impressed by the little flakes of gold, but it's definitely a nice visual touch. This roll is great for someone who's not looking for too much rice. I was pretty surprised by how much they give as well. Octopus ceviche: relatively affordable octopus! However, I thought that this needed some more acidity to balance out the flavors. Hamachi Deluxe Roll: more of a classic (American) Japanese sushi roll. Though, I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't like heavier rolls because of the sauce Lomo Saltado Roll: my favorite thing all night. It's sushi rolls surrounding a mountain of lomo saltado. Who can say no to that?Thai Donuts: my second favorite thing all night! The donuts were freshly made, and not stale at all. Paired with the condensed milk and ice cream... it was a perfect way to end the meal. DRINKS Lychee Saketini: love this as a quiet night type of drink (I don't know if that makes sense haha) AMBIANCE This is a smaller establishment right next to the metro stop. It had hole in the wall vibes yet still somewhere to take a casual date. SERVICE Great service! The waiter Juan came and explained everything on the menu because we were confused on what to order haha. He made some great suggestions as well.VALUE This is where I'm conflicted. It isn't particularly cheap/budget friendly but it's not a "dressed up" kind of place. However, it is sushi/raw fish and I don't trust cheap raw fish haha. Also, some of the dishes were unique and things you can't find elsewhere."
"It's been almost a year that I don't visit this location. I came in with my dad and my nephews to grab a quick lunch before dropping them off at the airport. It was not too busy and we were sat fairly quickly. We were a party of 6 and our server took care of us fast. I order their tropical sangria that had lychee and I enjoyed a lot.The chicken was so juicy and flavorful.I also ordered the anticuchos de corazón de res and they were delicious.Overall I will come back again."
"Excellent and fresh food and super warm staff. Best ceviches I've ever had, warm, flavorful, and zesty."
"Ordered Pescado a lo Macho via DoorDash and the portion was generous - enough for two and maybe 3 people. The sauce was a bit too salty for my taste so I removed most of it. I enjoyed the shrimp, calamari and mussels as well and the flaky fish. This plate is much better than other Peruvian restaurants. I appreciate that the food came piping hot too."
"El Chalán has been my go-to Peruvian restaurant in Miami for the past 15 years, and it's easy to see why it's my favorite. There's a comforting sense of familiarity each time I visit, thanks to the consistent staff who've become like family over the years. The quality of the food has remained top-notch throughout, with each dish bursting with authentic Peruvian flavors that keep me coming back for more. Whether it's the ceviche, lomo saltado, or any of their other specialties, I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with an ambiance that perfectly captures the spirit of Peru. It's not just a meal; it's an experience--one that I've cherished for over a decade and will continue to for many years to come"
"My friends and I went for dinner and we were seated promptly. I do recommend that you make a reservation because it gets pretty busy. The ambiance is like being at your grandmas home, very relaxing. We ordered many tapas and then were all delicious. We shared the lomo salteado and it was tasty. For dessert, we shared the mango key lime pie and the timba- both were good.I'd definitely recommend this restaurant."
"New addition to Miami midtown and I couldn't wait further to go and try. The food is very good we tried different plates but the menu is HUGE so definitely I need to go over again and check other items. They are Peruvian Nikkei inspired and their food presentation is very cool. Service was amazing , Alvaro was gentle and knowledgeable and I also had a chance to meet the GM a very experienced professional. Even the owner took time to greet us. The place is lovely decorated and furnished and the price are very good. Definitely recommended both for lunch and dinner. Keep up the good work guys."
"Located across Collins Avenue from the Bandshell (and near where the Full Moon Party) is held, I had the chance to stop at Locura Marina this last week when my friend Vancy recommended it. Don't let the name fool you, as it is not only seafood! We were able to get in right before the dinner rush, and from what I heard there's always a full house of locals. It is definitely a hidden gem.I started with a glass of white wine, a cool & crisp way to unwind from Music Week and get in the mood for the Moon. My appetizer was their Causa Limena. This potato dish, with the black pepper in the egg and Mayo dressing, is far from boring. You can definitely notice the kick!As far as a meat dish, I really liked their Pollo Saltado, basically a chicken stir fry with teriyaki sauce, grilled veggies & and helping of crispy fries. All of this was on their dinner menu for $20. Yes, this isn't an April Fool joke! The portion size was enough to have leftover for lunch. I would definitely stop by again!"
"What a wonderful lunch we had! Alexandra our waitress was perfect! Attentive and quick. Alexandra Could not have been any nicer or competent ( spoken by a previous waitress!!!) it was a busy lunchtime but our food came out quickly and scalding hot! Had the mixed seafood soup and the yellow rice patella with a spiced green sauce! Perfection. Sorry no pictures as we at it up to fast. Get a window seat so you can watch the passerby for entertainment! Casual attire but a few business men as well."
"I'm obsessed with this place. I didn't realize this place had been opened for a year. We stopped by one night after seeing this place was opened until 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays! Our typical favorite Peruvian place always closes so early! This place was delicious! The menu is extensive and includes classics like ceviche, lomo saltado and aji de gallina. There are also other dishes including sushi, Nikkei and many fun cocktails! The service is always on point. Folks are super attentive and nice. I like that they welcome you with plantains and a spicy sauce. There's also plenty of seating and they can accommodate large groups. They also have a parking lot and it's free! This place is a must try!"

Came here for my birthday dinner on a Friday evening after having this spot on my list for YEARS now. Having traveled all over Peru just a few years ago, Gastón is definitely the pride and joy of their country. We tried a variety of dishes to start, the duck tiradito was superb and the conchitas were incredible and the presentation was pure magic. The octopus was great as well. We also shared the lomo (obviously we have to try the signature dish of Peru) and the achupado was delicious and very rich. We ended up taking half of the lomo and achupado home as we were actually pretty full after having several cocktails along with dinner. The view of the Miami skyline at sunset is amazing and sets the vibe for a romantic night. The service is also top notch as well. Definitely want to come back for their iconic brunch

This place is TINY with only a few tables. We were lucky they had a table for 3! Credit to the waiter for warning us that it would be at least 45 mins for a roll and he wasn't lying! The ceviche empanadas and the lomo saltodo roll were both tasty but a little salty for me. My friend changed the regular seaweed in the rolls for rice wraps and I think they'd both be better as they are supposed to be. The fish was really fresh though! It's a little pricey and likely to have a wait for a table or your meal. Maybe takeout is the way to go for this place.

We were a bit surprised with how great this place was, not sure why because they have many great reviews (deservedly). First thing our server Francine (BTW- she was SUPER helpful and accommodating, she needs a raise) asked was 'does anyone have any allergies?' OMG that was sooooo appreciated, earlier we had been to a couple places that were stunningly oblivious about what is gluten free. Anyway, they are accommodating.Drinks. Wife had a Lychee cocktail and I had a "bubbling" Sangria. Both were great and inventive.Appetizer, short ribs. FantasticDinners. Beef Chaufa & Lomo Saltado, both were really good and the portions were very healthy. We both ended up taking some to go.Dessert. A passion fruit Crème Brûlée that was very unique and tasty. Was an overall great meal. Music is a little on the loud side heads up, but the speakers sound really good so I was fine with that, house and Latino tunes. Definitely recommend this place and wish we had one near where we live.

Probably the best place for Peruvian food hands down! You know i like the HUGE portions so make sure you dont get full on the bread! LOL (warning dont eat all the bread). Like always pretty much tried everything on the menu but went with my usual fish dish, of course the ceviche, seafood mixto platter, and the mussels. Super casual spot, simple and definitely try out the desserts! SLAMMMMMIN and also the fresh lemonada, but tell them less sugar... Been here like 10x's definite good spot!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would...it exceeded every expectation and is truly a gem in the unlikeliest of places: Kendall.Coming in, we were confused by the entrance...it looks like a dry cleaner but in wonderful speakeasy style you move past a curtain of dry cleaning garments and into a vintage style bar, with dim lighting, jazz playing and a decor that is simultaneous cozy and elegant. It's classy without being pretentious. But the FOOD. Wow. That was the word used over and over with each new bite, and everything--I mean, everything--was absolutely delicious. We had:Tuna Aguachile for appetizer: refreshing and delicious. The watermelon gave it an extra special touch of sweetness.Special of the day: fried snapper with Brussels sprouts. The little nuggets of fish were well presented, plated into a fried snapper. They did all the work for you so all you have to do is enjoy. The Brussels Sprouts (a generous portion) was amazing in a sweet soy glaze. I didn't think I would like this vegetable that much! The Boniato Gnocchi was delightful. I was concerned it would be too cheesy but this was the BEST gnocchi I've had. It came in a Rococo sauce that was never overpowering topped with a Parm crisp. It had the perfect Bliss Point--It left me wanting more, and I never say that about gnocchi.Cocktails:Penicillin: I was looking for something that wasn't too sweet and this was very refreshing. Dessert: Timba, a cream cheese mousse topped with guava and Maria cookies. Initially disappointed that it was served on a regular plate instead of the martini glass it usually comes in but it tastes lovely--not too sweet, and the cream cheese flavor was subtly sweet and not too strong. Very good and a reminiscent of the classic guava and cheese after dinner.Looking forward to coming back soon!

As a frequent visitor to Miami, I make it a point never to miss the opportunity to indulge in their delectable ceviche offerings, and once again, they did not disappoint.Today, being in town from Chicago, we decided to have our favorite, the Ceviche SuVama, delivered to our hotel in Brickell. From the moment we opened the containers, we were greeted with the unmistakable freshness and vibrant flavors that Suviche is renowned for. The Ceviche SuVama was a perfect blend of tangy citrus notes and fresh seafood, leaving our taste buds dancing with delight. In addition to the ceviche, we also savored the spicy tuna roll, which was equally impressive. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the expertise of the sushi chefs at Suviche. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional customer service. Upon placing our order, I requested silverware, plenty of soy sauce packets, and some corn nuts. Not only were our requests accommodated promptly, but they were also delivered to our hotel as promised, ensuring that our meal was enjoyed to the fullest. In conclusion, Suviche continues to exceed my expectations with their outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. Whether dining in or enjoying their offerings from afar, Suviche never fails to deliver a memorable culinary experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough and look forward to my next visit to Miami to indulge once again in their mouthwatering creations."
"The most refreshing lunch... Dr. Limon ceviche!Dr. Limon is the routine lunch stop on arrival in the Miami area. We usually split the Remedio Casero (medium spice, and mixed) along with a wine or sangria. My body thanks me for eating such clean food! The staff struggles with my poor espanol as I hack thru the ordering process. Haha. They are prompt and fun. I enjoy the added touch of the host staff holding the door upon entering/departing.The location is not the sexiest (strip near FIU) however the interior is clean and colorful, and most often busy."
"Nice little restaurant at a shopping mall in Pinecrest. I always like to scope out the menu before I go to a place so I can pick up out what I want to eat beforehand. But I'm glad we listened to the specials. They had a slow cooked short rib that day that was phenomenal. I also tried the sushi, ceviche, and papas Huancaina. All delish! They have a must-try dessert: the Suspiro Limeo- probably has a million calories but I don't care because it was that good!"
"Great location to come for date night or just friends to catch up ! Ended I up in this location in wynwood on a Saturday night , and we had a great experience. The service was quick and very efficient! The food was made to order and it came out very fast . The main thing here is the ceviche but they have other great dishes like the arroz chaufa , which it was delicious! Definitely cute esthetics.. love the chill vibe ."
"Absolutely amazing ceviche spot in South Miami! Great happy hour menu/ prices! Our food came out very quickly & everything was so delicious! The yuca sticks were super crispy & the sauce they came with was the best compliment. The Lomo Saltado empanadas were super filled with meat & the flavors were excellent! The ceviche was super fresh & I loved the different flavor each one had! It paired perfectly with the crispy, salty tostones! The staff were all so friendly & the service was excellent, the chef even came out to ask how our food was! I will 100% be back for another happy hour with friends!"
"After a Yelp elite event in Wynwood, we decided to stay in the area and dine. All I can say is that this is the absolute most delicious food we tried. The fusion of Peruvian flavors with a modern twist is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we tried was a work of art, bursting with flavors. The ambiance is just as captivating as the food. We can't wait to go back."
"Casual peruvian restaurant in Edgewater.. nice spot for a casual lunch or take out on a day you're not in the mood for cooking! The ceviche is by far my fave, i have also tried lomo, but did not like it that much- last time the meat was not that great quality, the jalea is pretty good!! Service is fast & efficient, free parking os available in the back area."
"Favorite Peruvian Food in the MIA!!! ^.^Delicious, fresh, and great portions of food! We ordered the Lomo Saltado and Risotto with Lomo Saltado and both cooked to perfection. The risotto had a Peruvian twist with a cheesy creamy sauce. Our server Sandy was a sweet heart and answered all our questions with any issue. The environment was modern with a beautiful bar/kitchen in the center of the restaurant. The music was good too very modern vibes. Highly recommend! Please Note: The parking is very limited and is parallel parking. They do have a valet in the front available. There is a shopping center near by you can park in and won't have any issues."
"I will start out by saying the service was excellent and our server was very attentive. However, the food was mediocre and overpriced. The chicken was seasoned with unappealing flavors and the steak was stringy and drenched in some type of mysterious liquid.Overall, I do not recommend and giving 2 stars instead of 1 for the great service."
"Food was great and so was the service. The food was great environment was warm and friendly and service was fast. Place is famous for their peruvian rotisserie chicken made on their original peruvian charcoal grill which gives the Peruvian rotisserie chicken it's unique flavor, the quality of the food was excellent!!!Very Friendly Staff! Will Be Back!"
"I came with my son and friend. The decor is simply gorgeous. The location is located in a small hidden alley near to the Lincoln road shopping area. The service from Stephanie was top notch. We tried 11 dishes in all. All were delicious and executed extremely well. All the dishes looked eloquently assembled. No dish was a disappointment. We enjoyed all of them. I recommend this place for a special event or evening."
"SuViche in Doral is gorgeous. I love the ambiance walking in. The interior designer here needs their props. From their gorgeous walls to their hanging egg chairs and swings, they give off the perfect date night vibe. It's been a few years since I had SuViche and even then it was at another location so this location really wow'ed me. I didn't know what I wanted to eat so I ordered a few things that sparked my interest. The food here is a 9/10. Delicious! The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is because I had an issue - there was a prominent strand of hair in my mahi mahi ceviche. When I told someone, they did not apologize. I told them I just wanted it removed and taken off the check. She asked if I wanted a remake and I said no. I then continued to enjoy the rest of my food. I really enjoyed the light chips they served alongside the tasty salmon tartare. This is something I would order again. My date and I also devoured the bang bang roll. I loved that they placed the shrimp on top instead of inside the roll. Last, I had the lomo saltado bowl with udon noodles. It was overly sauced but had a good flavor. The ratio was off. There were far more noodles than there were of steak tenderloin pieces. But a solid dinner. When the check came, my boyfriend paid it immediately. After he paid it, I asked if they removed the ceviche and he said he didn't check. Long story short, they didn't. They didn't apologize or seem to care enough to remove it off the check for us. We did pay for it and had to contact someone to remove it and refund us that portion. It was annoying but we did have a good night here."
"What took me so long to try Jaguar?! Jaguar is a spot near Cocowalk that celebrates LATAM cuisine. The menu pays tribute to Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and more. I had some of the best ceviche ever, along with excellent guacamole that was so fresh, and generously portioned mahi tacos. If Chef Oscar is there, just get what he tells you to try!"
"Everything you get here is excellent! Always super fresh and the staff is very polite, helpful and friendly. Pedro G must be doing something right as he has opened other successful locations throughout Miami.Try the Laura and Fusion rolls.. the Inari ceviche is really out of control. If you're near any location, give them a try! We've been coming here for a few years and never had a bad experience at any location."
"Mayu is a magical place where you feel incredible energy. The food is impressive, and the cocktails are incomparable. Excellent attention and a lot of warmth in the environment."
"Overall delicious, although the seafood rice is definitely on the salty side. Tacu tacu, basically a pancake shape of rice and beans, is well made with some crispy edges. Highly recommend the chicha morada and passion fruit drink. They taste like the real deal, some places are more watery and bland. The waitress recommended the suspiro a la limena for dessert, but it's rather nondescriptive, and at $8.50 totally not worth it. The waitress's English was really limited. We waited half an hour after our drinks arrived and no food came. We had to use google translate to let her know that we are still waiting for the food, only to find out that she didn't place it. Nice of them to allow us to sit there half the day with just a drink order, and not bothering us or asking us to order food, lol, but umm we were hungry."
"Service was great here! The waiter, JOSE, really helped us during our visit with explaining the different ceviche options. They provide a complimentary leche de Tigre and it encouraged me to get the matching "Diagnóstico Reservado" ceviche. It was soooo delicious! Well worth it!The locale is rather large and clean. I enjoyed that they decorated the empty tables with an actual lime as a center piece was a nice touch. I visited at noon on a Sunday and it was not busy."
"If you're looking for a laidback dinner or a quick lunch, this is the spot. I love the fact that it's not pretentious and owned by an amazing family who cook and serve at the Suviche. The staff is great. The menu offers many options including non-fish and vegan items so you're bound to find something you like. It's located blocks away from Lincoln road. The wait time to be seated was minimal but it is a relatively small place inside."
"Why doesn't this place have more customers?? They deserve way more hype than some other famous places in SoBe. All the food we tried here tasted fresh and delicious. In fact, their ceviche was the best I had in Miami despite going to a lot of other famous Peruvian places (Cviche 105, Manta, etc.)"
"Cozy family restaurant on a small strip mall. The food was fresh and delicious. The service good."
