Mainzer's German Deli

Cheryl and her German deli are lovely! For a bit, you feel like you are transported to Germany! She is one of the sweetest people I know and always enjoy a visit! I buy lots of fresh frozen German bread and store at home! Every loaf taste just like the bread baked in Germany! Her deli sandwiches are fresh and delicious German goodness! Chocolate of many kinds, mustard, red cabbage, soft cheese, pastas, spices, sauces, and everything! You have to go!

Amazing little German deli in Pinecrest. They have the best German chocolates and goodies. I especially love coming here in the winter months to buy stocking stuffer goodies. They also have yummy savory treats such as a bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut. Please keep supporting this local staple!

We stopped by this place because my husband has a hankering for pastrami. Sadly, the owner Olga explained to us that currently they do not carry it, but we decided to try some of the sandwiches anyway.Olga is super nice and patiently answered our questions, explaining the different "wurst" and all the new and exciting (to me) grocery items they carry. She apologized that some stocks are low or out due to COVID, but there are still plenty of products that look interesting. I was excited to see boxes of De Ruijter chocolate sprinkles, which my Dutch friends have introduced to me. While most Americans only use them on ice cream sundaes, over there they are generously sprinkled over buttered toast as part of breakfast - for adults and kids alike!I got a can of Almdudler, a soda from Austria, to go with my knackswurst roll. The sausage is really tasty with a nice snappy casing. As for the sandwich, we ordered corned beef but not sure if that's what we got. There are also delicious looking salads in the case as well. The only down side is there is no sitting area at all, only a two-person table outside, so best to plan on take out.

They have been around for FIFTY YEARS! I know because my friend that I went with has been going there for 40 years and the owner said that the just celebrated year 50. It is a small store, but the shelves have a lot of variety of products from Germany and the surrounding areas. A nice display of sausages and things of the like. My friend got egg salad and potato salad and swore it is the best around, yet my friend didn't offer me any. RUDE! Lol. Very nice little place and the owner is so very sweet. Stop by when you are in the area.

Nice little market. I always walked by this place and wanted to try it until today.... I decided to come in an have a Brat.Bratwurst with sauertkraut and of course... mustard. Excellent served hot wrapped in foil just like in Germany. Add a beer and voila... lunch!Great German beer a premium pilsner. Perfect with my sandwich. This combo was $8.40 Excellent Service is friendly. The market has a few cold cuts and some cheese. Also crusty European style bread and lots of fruit preserves. German spices, etc. It isn't very stacked but it is mostly things you don't find at a regular market.

All of the positive reviews are completely accurate. I was in the mood for some authentic German food and did a quick search for something in my area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn this place has existed right up the street from me for decades!I ordered a bratwurst sandwich and German potato salad along with a few other items. It was very good! Seemed very fresh too. I will be adding this to my list of go-to's. It's a small shop with a small menu and takes time for the food to be prepared, but none of this matters to me. A little patience goes a long way. Also, the lady (I believe she is the owner) is the sweetest person I've ever met. She was very helpful and made the experience a pleasure. I plan to find some German recipes and do all my shopping for ingredients here. It's a fun little place. Places like these are very hard to find in the Pinecrest area these days. I'm so happy I found this spot!

Small, family run operation with great deli and specialty groceries. Fast, friendly service. Highly recommend the Italian sub.It's surprising to me that places like Subway exist with places like this right around the corner. I'll be back

Been coming here since a little boy and now im still coming. This place is the best if you're looking for probably any food German/north Europe related products. The quality of product is top tier and the prices are honestly a bargain for it being imported goods. The food from the menu is really good , very healthy and home feel type of cooking. Cheryl the owner is the best. She works it mostly by herself but gets the job more than done. Recommend the salads on Saturdays and trying a sandwich on some natural bread while you're there. There's also APPLE Strudel but you have to ask. Before the holidays it's legit paradise for sweet tooth people.

I actually work in the area and I wanted to try something different. I opened up the Yelp app and I found this little deli. I completely forgot it was there but I'm glad I didn't this time so I had to go. Let me tell you the reviews are correct. This little place has some of the best deli sandwiches I haven't seen in a long long time. I actually had the corn beef on pumpernickel, lettuce, tomato, onion and mustard. The portions were fantastic and the food is so fresh. The lettuce literally snapped when I took a bite. I had the opportunity of actually talking to the owner and she is such a beautiful lady. Sweet, down to earth, with excellent customer service, and totally friendly. I'm not lying when I say I'm going back here again because it was phenomenal. The portion was fantastic for only $8.99. Unbelievable especially in today's day to have such a fantastic value. The actual deli and grocery has a whole bunch of merchandise that when I'm walking around looking at it it looked great. It looks fantastic Got to admit this is a really cute little place.I will guarantee that you won't go wrong here. Can't wait to see you again.

I found european grocery products. The selections of sweets is terrific. The best kept secret are the wonderful deli sandwiches.
