Il Gabbiano

The view definitely steals the show at Il Gabbiano (@ilgabbianorestaurant), but the food and service are top-notch! As soon as you are seated, they serve you some caprese with a side of balsamic glaze and a bread basket. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was the perfect level of lightly breaded and came with a fresh homemade tomato sauce. It's one of the best I've tried, for sure. The Chicken Milanese and Snapper entrées had excellent flavor, as well.This is definitely one to add to the list!

Came here with my wife and a couple of friends. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the view was fantastic. Favorite part was the dessert. I got the chocolate lava cake and it was probably the best I've ever had. Valet isn't too expensive which is a plus... The one flaw is that the food is a bit overpriced. But if you're looking to splurge on a nice date-night type of experience, this is a great option.

Went with a group for a birthday dinner. It's a nicely located restaurant on the Miami waterways and outside has a better view than inside. The service was great and they were always on top of making sure we had everything we needed. The food was okay, nothing to rave about, however the artichokes app was very delicious and well charred! We ordered some bottles of wine as well. There is valet for lunch and dinner as well.

Mediocre at best. The food was nothing to rave about. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was pretty bland. Service was nothing special. Definitely over priced for what you get.

Beautiful people and a spectacular view is what's being served with delicious authentic Italian cuisine here at Il Gabbiano. Service is extremely good. The waiter was super helpful, explaining the menu items to us, one by one. Starts with a complimentary bread basket and a small plate of very tasty bruschetta, cheese and balsamic vinegar to dip it in. We ordered the shrimp scampi originato appetizer, and that sauce was so good, we wanted to lick the plate. I had half portions of the pasta special (that included truffles) and the cannelloni, which tasted so yummy, like an Italian grandmother had cooked it. I ordered my favorite martinis, as they don't have a cocktail menu and can make you anything you like. They do have a very extensive wine list. Pro tip: ask for half portions of the pastas, so you can try more than one and it will cost half the price!...and don't be embarrassed to ask the price of any of the specials being offered. They are pricey.

I'll Gabiano never disappoints. It was a group of 5 and we tried a bit of everything on the menu to share. The service here is always impeccable and the view amazing to take a nice stroll after dinner.

What a wonderful evening I had at this restaurant . It's undoubtedly quite classy and a wonderful spot to have dinner. The decor was magnificent. The star of the show was the view, and our servers and serving assistants were always checking in. The wine selection and cocktails were superb. I had a St. germain that tasted like I was on a spritzy holiday. The only negative was that my boyfriend's dinner was just ok; however, I really enjoyed my pesto pasta. The pesto pasta felt like it had transported me to a family friends home who was from Italy. I had a wonderful evening.

Oh my goodness where to begin- I LOVE I'll Gabbiano. The food here was among the best I've had in Miami. The service is above and beyond with waiters personally displaying and introducing exquisite seafood and truffle ingredients tableside. The classy upscale interior only added to the fine dining experience. Highly recommend their specials- the mushroom ravioli to be specific. Ironically I came here on a break up date but ended up having one of my favorite Miami dining experiences

Beautiful restaurant with ocean views. The food was delicious and service friendly and efficient. We had veal Milanese which was delicious

Great ambiance! Great service paying attention to the smallest detail.! The Bronzino was spectacular! The fried zucchini side delicious!The Frutta Di Mare so so. I suggest not trying so hard. Focus on the sauce and the Frutta. Don't try to add too much to a simple dish. 4.4 starts out of 5.
