"This was my first visit to The Greek Joint. I turned to Yelp, of course, when the restaurant one street over was completely booked. I love Greek food, so It was worth a try! The staff was friendly and very attentive, from the first moment until the end. The food was very good, and the prices on par with other restaurants in the area, but maybe slightly higher than expected compared to other Greek restaurants. The dip Platter was a great starter, I loved the spicy fetta spread the best. The stuffed grape leaves were really good, but not what we were expecting. They were warm with a combination of rice and meat, topped with a creamy lemon sauce. My husband had the gyro, sorry he didn't let me get a pic before he tore into it. It was filled with meat, tomatoes, onion, and a healthy serving of tzatziki. His fries were thick and crispy; it also came with a small side salad. I chose 2 separate items rather than an entree. The Spanokopita was tasty with the flaky filo and plenty of spinach filling. My salad was huge, but not what I expected, as there was not your typical lettuce base, which is what I was looking for. It was good, but again, not as expected. I think more details on the menu would be helpful, especially for items that may be different from the norm. We skipped dessert as the items listed weren't typical Greek desserts, which was a bit disappointing, but we were full anyway. I would definitely return though, especially for a casual lunch."
"What u mean u don't eat no meat, okay I make you lamb! So sooo good! Craving Greek and there isn't many options on the Beach and while in midtown stopped and ordered from this pop up! The place is located within Victory restaurant close to Tap 42. There's a small sign outside says Eat Greek but can be missed. Order directly from the site if you order takeout rather than some delivery service so they get the full price for their service and food. I got the gyro platter and it was so big and absolutely delicious. My friends were delicious of my take out choice and I don't share food especially when it's this delicious. Came with pita bread a side Greek salad with generous portion of feta cheese and so much lamb! I will definitely be back and sure some of my friends will to. The staff were super friendly and nice which is great to see happy faces during these time."

Visit Restaurant Page"Came here for a friend's surprise birthday and oh boy was he reeeeally surprised!!The table started off with seating 12 people but last minute the party grew to 16. They were very accommodating and patient with the shifting of seats. Staff is super friendly and professional, and although it seems like a small restaurant, it feels bigger and open due to the white walls, murals and portraits of Greece, and big windows. For an establishment that has been around for 50 years, it still looks very enchanting and feels like you're actually in Greece for a moment! The host ordered an array of appetizers, so I got to try the traditional Greek salad, the fried cheese, grilled chicken, pita with hummus, tzatziki, and I want to say the third dip was babaganoush but I could be wrong and think it tastes similar. Afterwards, we were free to order more food so my husband and I shared the lamb skewers (hidden in the sides section of the menu) and Greek sausage. Both were heavenly delicious and packed with flavor! The lamb by itself was already juicy and flavorful, but the owner recommended to have it with tzatziki sauce and it was the cherry on top! This experience was delicious and authentic, we'd definitely come again!"
"Is it Greek? Is it Italian? It's delicious! Great selection of Italian and Greek food topped with great food and good portions. The place can get loud and hot if it's packed. And getting a table can be tricky so make sure you make a reservation, specially if you are trying to go on busy weekends. Service was very good and the food was brought out in a timely manner. The lentil soup was delicious and the Quattro formaggi gnocchi was exactly as I remember from Il Villagio which apparently has become part of this restaurant. Pricey but worth it!"
"At the risk of sounding like Gordon Gecko or Milton Friedman, Supply and Demand baby...Sultan has been open on Collins Avenue since I might have needed an enhanced ID to enjoy nightlife. This is a cozy spot with a few inside and outside tables next to one of the classic clubs on the beach. If not 24 hour, they are open pretty late. So yes, they're going to be pricey.Though not in a clubbing day, I stopped Friday night after cocktails nearby, needing some sustenance, and enjoyed their chicken kabob platter with fries and hummus. The chicken was pretty juicy and the fries crispy. My hummus could have been a little richer and / or seasoned like my usual Mediterranean spot but no biggie. Make sure to save space for their baklava in I believe a honey sauce. It's slightly flaky and with a good balanced sweetness. Perfect to complete your recovery dinner!"
"The food is good, the ambiance beautiful, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. Our server was very grouchy and kept trying to push us toward more expensive items, more expensive wine and even switched an app to a much more expensive entree. I called the manager the day after when I took a closer look at the bill and she was able to adjust for the sneaky upcharges. Took forever to get our wine. The food was delicious, everything from the zucchini and eggplant chips to the fish, but the prices are a bit outrageous. You're paying for the location after all. I did not like the baklava for dessert, it was tough as a rock (not soft and flaky like it should be) and did not taste like any baklava I've ever had. All in all, we probably would have had a much nicer experience here if it hadn't been for our unpleasant waiter. It was three of us (elegantly dressed middle aged ladies celebrating our friend's 50th birthday) and he single handedly ruined the mood and the evening for us. What a shame."
"While heading to the convention, I stumbled upon a charming little shop that beckoned me in for breakfast. The highlight? The best simit I've had in the country--warm, golden, and perfect.I couldn't resist returning for dinner, sitting outside under the evening sky. Our friendly server recommended the Turkish lahmacun, and we ordered soup, salad, and that delicious flatbread. Every bite was spot-on, with impeccable service to match. We ended the meal with a kunefe, a sweet, savory treat that wrapped up a delightful Turkish dining experience in this cozy spot."
"Came here for a birthday work lunch and loved the food. Unfortunately the grill wasn't working when we were there so a good chunk of the menu wasn't available. It was also soooo hot inside and can't imagine what it would be like with the grill on!The food is flavorful and reminds me of the food I ate in Greece. I would definitely come back and pray the AC is working or it's cooler."
"Calista is an absolutely adorable and delicious spot to eat on Giralda. The decor makes you feel like you're not in Miami, and transports you to Greece where you're surrounded by blue tiles and fresh seafood.I've been a few times and I'm never disappointed. They have a this seafood special that comes with stuffed shrimps, stuffed clams, lobster, fillet of sole, scallops. I have ordered that to share with my family and it is divine. We also loved the green salad, the octopus, beef meatballs and dips.I love this restaurant because everything seems extremely fresh and is also flavorful. Service is friendly and the ambiance is adorable. They also have a delicious frozè.Definitely stop in next time you're on Giralda."
"Let's start with the cute outdoor terrace and go from there. Super friendly, kind, hospitable, and professional service. Unique flavors and good variety on the menu.We ordered an eggplant app, the octopus, the Moussaka, and the ADANA KEBAP (chopped spiced grounded lamb, homemade lavash bread). Not sure why the server recommended we order the lavash (since our order came with lavash). It was not authentic lavash as I've had before and was paper thin and undercooked so that was a miss for me and not worth the cost. The eggplant app was ok, the octopus was a bit chewy and dry unfortunately, and the kebap was not for me personally, taste-wise. I wanted to order the DOYA KEBAP, but they didn't have it. The moussaka was great, could have eaten that twice! Portion could be a bit larger. The baklava was good. My cocktail was tasty. I feel like I ordered wrong on this visit and willing to leave the four stars (for effort and service) until I can try them again.I think the restaurant identity seems a bit confused, as too are the dishes. Are they Greek, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean or all three? Seems they would benefit from choosing one and doing it well. I've had a variety of food from all three of the above, but Doya's dishes seem to stray from the traditional tastes and flavors, but instead of riffing on the traditional, they seem to just miss."

My husband and I have consistently been visiting for a while. As Hollywood becomes more populated so has this restaurant. Our secret spot is no more a secret *sniff* but we'll deserved. You will probably drive around three or four times before getting a prime parking spot. Getting seated isn't an issue but the restaurant fits large groups to couples. We initially got overlooked for about 15 minutes. We brought this to a waitresses attention and and she immediately tended to us. The food was good, has the lamb shank which was nicely cooked with s delicious mixed of vegetables. The humus was great too and had a unique but homemade flair about it. The hubby had the grilled lamb chops and they were delicious, perfect seasoning and sear! It's perfect for a romantic evening or larger intimate group of friends/family. Go ahead and do it in 2023! Be safe! Live & Love!

BEST greek food I've ever had. Not just in Miami, but EVER. EGM is a combo restaurant with Buena Vista Deli. (So it's two restaurants in one)We came here for lunch and was blown away! We got the three cold dip app (babaganoush was out of this world!) and my bf got the lamb gyro. PROTIP: get the salad with protein for lunch! It's $11, and I got half chicken and half lamb gyro since I couldn't decide. SO GLAD I DID! The CHICKEN IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!! it's so juicy, crisp, flavorful! The salad came with a huge portion of protein, tzaziki sauce, and Greek salad side. I had enough leftovers to make a second meal. This place has been open for about 6 months now and I hope it lasts! It seems like this part of town, nothing, even businesses who seem to be doing really well with great reviews, can stay in business! Maybe it's the rent cost but best of luck to EGM!

Loved it!It was our first time here and we'd definitely come back!As we're from out of state, we decided to eat a number of smaller bites in order to try more of the dishes. Firstly, the staff here, all of them were very friendly, attentive and helpful. We started out the evening with glass of bold Greek red wine. Very nice. Here's what we shared for dinner: - Avgolemono Soup- Grilled Octopus- Cheese Saganaki- House Greek Salad- Gyro Meat- Tzatziki Spread- Baklava Cheesecake (we took this to go)Tonight is New Year's Eve and this place will be packed. My wife made Open Table reservations weeks ago. We are glad this worked out. If you've considered Mykonos and haven't tried it yet - make plans to try it. Everything was excellent

Steven was our friendly, kind and helpful waiter. My teenage son and l ordered the fried calamari and zucchini, the linguini with clams in tomato sauce, the linguini with mixed seafood in a white wine sauce and a delicious serving of apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream. It was all delicious as was the nice assortment of bread and dipping oil.

Three stars adequately sums this place up. Friendly service, but food is average. My gyro plate was ok, but nothing to write home about. The salad was too soggy and tomatoes and cucumbers were disintegrating a bit because they had been sitting in the dressing too long. The fries were good. The gyro meat was ok, not the best or most flavorful I've had. Some outdoor seating. Good for a quick bite in Miami Beach.

AVRA's relatively new Miami location maintains the quality and consistency of its NYC predecessors. The space is gorgeous and classy. It lends itself well to date night and family dinners alike with a mix of cozy round booths on the perimeter and longer central tables. The service is intuitive and friendly.Almost everything on the menu is delicious and crave-able. There is a huge selection of fish and seafood which can be prepared by virtually any method you desire. My favorite appetizers are the Avra chips and octopus. No visit is complete without the chopped green salad. The hamachi and salmon crudo were good but the portion was small - skip this unless you're craving sashimi. For mains the Branzino is a go to. The lamb chops are also great quality and well prepared. This time I tried the Carabineros (scarlet prawns) and it's safe to say I will be ordering these sweet and tender shrimp again.I have to give a bid to the cocktails as well as they were expertly mixed. Finally, I'm not actually a huge fan of most of the dessert options, but the olive oil cake is moist and the sweetness is just right. The chocolate and pistachio ice creams were also excellent - they are not your typical ice cream parlor flavors.Overall, AVRA Miami serves up a consistently great experience in a beautiful and upscale setting making it a staple for a nice dinner out.

This new restaurant is a hidden gem. There is fresh, light decor, and a casual atmosphere. It has a wonderful menu and the service was extremely friendly. They have Halal meat, but also have a beer and wine license.

"Maria's is the definition of excellence as my favorite Greek restaurant in Miami. If you don't know about Maria's, then you have come to the right place to read about it. Everything is delicious. Had not been in a while, but food was as perfect as I remember. Shish Kabob - A+Branzino (fillet) - A++Grilled Octopus - A+++For sides we shared greek salad and roasted potatoes which was plenty. Gorgeous salad with a perfectly balanced dressing to feta ratio. PS: Don't forget to have a Mythos. It is tradition!Service is and has always been amazing. Everyone kind, friendly, and polite. Thank you all!!"
"This spot may become my new go-to lunch spot. I discovered Nuda Pura via Instagram recently and decided to give it a try - this Greek restaurant is like no other! From Leto friendly, gluten free, and vegan forward options, to authentic Greek/Mediterranean eats, Nude Pura truly keeps authentic rich flavors while keeping it healthy! We tried out a few things which instantly became my favorites: - homemade freshly baked pies - chicken gyro - fries topped with feta - Greek salad Everything was perfectly made and is served in big portions. The food is filled with flavor, fresh and delish. My favorite was the pie because it was just so different from any I've ever tried! (Currently craving it!) Aside from the food, the service and ambiance is so welcoming - with nice floral decorations all over the store and smiles on literally all the servers faces, this place felt like home. My favorite part of all -- their are still so many other things I can't wait to try on their menu and will have to go back soon!"
"So good! Best gyro in Miami!! everything tastes fresh and high quality. The tzatziki sauce is superb! We always get an extra side to dip the fries in. Love that they make a classic Greek salad (without the lettuce). Friendly staff, food came out pretty fast. My favorite food truck in the Kendall area."
"An excellent Greek restaurant in Aventura! Loved the food. Fresh. Plentiful. Fast! A very clean establishment. Service can be improved. We were checked on once and other times we had to flag down our server. No pork on the menu - I felt very comfortable eating here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others."
"I came late Sunday as I was in the area and decided to have a little snack before heading back home.I found this place as I've been to their Pembroke location and I was craving some hummus and baba ganoush. We ordered takeout. The place is smaller than the Pembroke one but it looks nice and tidy!We ordered some hummus and baba ganoush. They come with warm, fresh pita bread. Both were delicious just like the ones in Pembroke!! Creamy, fresh, and well-seasoned!!Love it!"
"Always great service, fresh food and clean establishment. This is one of our favorite eateries for lunch."
"We came here for an early dinner (6pm) and the place was empty except for us and 2 other tables of 2. The servers were nice and helpful with the menu. It was very romantic there (for me and my hubby and our 2 girls lol). What we swallowed:*SAMPLER PLATTER: Hummus, tzatziki, feta with pita. I love the variety and it was so yummy.*CRISPY CALAMARI: This was so good. Lightly breaded, it reminded me of our time back in Naxos.*CHICKEN SOUVLAKI: This was really good, lemony and fresh, very tasty. My girls loved it.*SEAFOOD PASTA: This was my favorite dish in Greece and this dish did not disappoint. Elegant and flavorful, the was the perfect dish.*BAKLAVA with ICE CREAM: Flaky, cinnamony, sticky... married beautifully with the vanilla ice cream. This was the perfect way to end such a beautiful dinner. This was such an elegant way to end our vacation and I'm glad we ended it here. All the flavors brought us back to our wonderful vacation in Greece and the night was such a relaxing time."
"We stopped into The Greek Joint when they first opened last April 2023. I remember driving by this location by accident, as I frequent Target next door. I've heard people talk about the original Greet Joint location in Hollywood but we have never been. We're always looking for delicious Greek or Mediterranean restaurants as we went to in Santorini for our honeymoon and the food is UNREAL!!!This place is very nice and I dig the simple and modern decor of the space. The patio dining area is very spacious. For the interior dining area, they have booths and tables. The bar is located in the back by the kitchen and bathroom. The food is delicious and authentic. The cocktails are flowing. We've had several different items on a few visits here. We've tried the following:* Four Dip Platter* Greek Salad* Chicken Souvlaki Sticks* Moussaka* Grilled Octopus* Stuffed Grape Leaves* Shrimp Santorini* Grilled Lamb Chops* Grilled Whole BranzinoMy favorite dishes are definitely the Four Dip Platter, Greek Salad, Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Whole Branzino. Everything was quite tasty. The Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Whole Branzino were cooked to perfection and had such great flavor all in all. The Grilled Octopus was great the first time around. The second time we had the octopus, it was just ok. I think it was the texture second time around that was meh.I remember the Chicken Souvlaki Sticks were a bit dry and the kids didn't even finish the dish. Moussaka was ok but it didn't blow my mind. The Stuffed Grape Leaves were too mushy for my liking. The Santorini Shrimp was delicious huge pieces of shrimp but the sauce was lacking.Overall, we really enjoyed The Greek Joint and it's nice and local. The vibe and service here is wonderful. The last time we were here, Bianca was our server and she was wonderful. Always smiling and accommodating. Very friendly. We'll be back to try other menu items. Mediterranean food is the best! Go check out The Greek Joint for yourself."
"Came here because it was a walking distance to where I was staying and I love Greek food.Let me start with the decor. It was so cute and it's like you're in Greece. The white and blue and the music was very nice.I sat inside and ordered a lamb skewer platter that came with grilled vegetables, fries, and bread. The lamb was a little dry but it was pretty good. The fries and vegetables were delicious. I got a spanakopita which was a delicious sesame puff pastry filled with cheese, and a horiatiki (Greek salad) which was absolutely delicious! Our server Dhmitri was great. He served us our food pretty quickly, we were greeted at entrance and was very friendly. The price came out to about $65 (without tip) and it was very worth it and pretty affordable considering the place, location, and food quality! Definitely recommend"
"Cool, sexy day club vibe on the beach with some of the best food in Miami Beach, and their 'business lunch' is like Miami Spice all year round but better because the sheer amount of excellent Greek will leave you full and happy. Terrific for people watching too, beach beauties and cuties everywhere. Start with the homemade dolmades - grape leaves stuffed with ground beef sauteed with herbs on a bed of citric reduction. Your companion should get the Flaming Cheese Saganaki because regardless of what Saganaki means, anything with Flaming Cheese is meant to be eaten off someone else's plate, especially when you order dolmades, which is Greek for 'corruption'. Ask for a side of tzatziki, obviously. By now you are no longer hungry, which means every next bite will be for the sheer joy of eating, rather than the biological urge to survive. With this in mind, order with keftedes. Lamb is delicious when done right, and what better way than meatballs in tomato sauce and feta? Now that you've eaten enough for lunch and dinner, it's time for the Greek yogurt drizzled with honey and topped with fruit. It's as savory as it is simple, and a perfect way to cap off an excellent meal at the best Greek restaurant on the beach."
"Mr. Mandolin, where flavor meets fun! I had the chicken kabob, my friend went for the chicken shawarma, and we were both on cloud nine. The Greek salad with that feta? OMG, a 10/10 flavor explosion! But wait, the Tzatziki sauce - it's my favorite part of it all! And oh, that greek orange blossom cake, it's basically dessert heaven on a plate. The ambiance is just as appetizing as the food - cozy and inviting. Service? Top-notch! Mr. Mandolin, you've got it all, from authentic and delicious Greek street food elevated with a sweet twist to fantastic staff and ambiance. If you're in the mood for a delicious adventure, don't think twice, just go here! Your taste buds will thank you!"
"The owner of an old favorite, Bar Meli, took her talents north to Miami Shores, and here is where I was reacquainted during a networking dinner this past Monday. No Reservations is tucked away in a strip mall on Biscayne Blvd,. In what turns out was the location of an old favorite French bistro. Parking can take some work, as it is shared by the various businesses in the plaza, and one of the businesses has reserved spots for only its patrons. Our group was attended by Liza (the owner) in addition to her team. The menu for the event was a tasty of passed bites, with a variety of land and sea dishes. As it were, they were prepared cleanly enough that even though I was the only one at my table not eating the seafood & shellfish courses I was not triggered. The space itself is dimly lit, with tasteful art and neon and the vibe great for either a business networker or a date night. My favorite of the passed bites included their juicy and flavorful skirt steak (aka churrasco), the spicy hummus dip and the tangy & tasty Greek salad. I'd definitely like to stop by and try some more of their menu items."
"Loved this place. Ambience was beautiful. Decor was beautiful. Indoor and outdoor seating. We went on a Saturday night and our party of 12 was seated immediately and accommodated nicely. Great music and at 9pm they had entertainment. A belly dancer and dj. Appetizers were delicious and came out quickly. The zucchini chips were great! The Taziki and guacamole apps were great. The watermelon feta was ok. The Greek salad was very authentic and delicious! Everyone had a great meal. The branzino was so good. The lamb chops were amazing and seasoned very well. The chicken kabobs were amazing and came on a bed of rice and green beans. Was a great entree. The lamb shank was good and the filet was good too. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my kids and they loved them. Great please in sunny isles. Can't wait to go back."
"My friends and I came today for their Miami Spice lunch. It did not disappoint. The staff were lovely, friendly and Turkish to boot. I used to have an apartment in Turkey many years ago and reminisced of my time travelling through Turkey. It reminded me of that culture.Inside the restaurant we had a wonderful round wooden table set up for our party. We were made to feel special. We were not rushed in anyway. We were told that as we were a party of five, we should try ALL on the Miami spice menu to get a good all round experience and would be able to savour everything. So, we agreed. It was a wonderful feast of homely food that hit the spot. I loved the decor inside the restaurant and appreciated the historical element of the old Pump House. Being English I miss cultural history. The decor inside was gorgeous. The gardens outside were pretty and I would imagine they are magical at nighttime. The service as sweet, friendly and personable. The food did not disappoint. I recommend. Being an artist, I believe photos speak for themselves, so enjoy my pictures!"
"What a fun spot! We loved getting out of Miami Beach and over to the mainland for this spot! So freaking cool. How many restaurants can you go to and literally watch yachts sail by with upbeat music and the occasional yacht that actually docks so the passengers can become guests of the restaurant???Service is remarkable. Our waiter never missed a beat. I mean how could he when the DJ is keeping all the beats going? Honestly, this might have been the most Miami restaurant we ate at. I would 100% make this a necessary stop for anyone visiting especially if it's their first time! The vibe is unbeatable. Trust me."
"Hey Guys Hey!What more can I say??? I'm in absolute love with this cute little Mediterranean spot. Omg, the Greek salad was an absolute hit. Just the right amount of onions (I'm salivating as I write this) olives, feta cheese, and peppers. The shrimp were a nice size and grilled to perfection. I will absolutely recommend this place and I might even go back once a week. As a treat to myself lol I have nothing bad to say. It's cute, clean and in my favorite side of Miami....One last thing that I felt was a little off putting....I received a 15% coupon from Yelp once I checked in. The instructions said to alert an employee to redeem, which I did and was told by the waiter that I couldn't use it. That sucked but other than that, a wonderful experience"
