The prices are unbeatable, making it a fantastic option for anyone looking for great value. But what truly sets this place apart are the delicious, huge meals they offer. Each dish is packed with flavor and generous portions, perfect for satisfying any appetite. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a hearty meal, this spot delivers every time. Highly recommend checking it out!

Tan rico!!! Thank you Yelp, for helping us find this place!! This is a very "home cooked" type of in-market eatery, you will probably have some communication issues if you don't speak Spanish! Lucky me, my husband is Spanish, and he had fun talking with some of the Cubans living in Little Havana here!We were visiting from NC and weren't very familiar with Cuban cuisine, but many items are also popular in Spain, just a different version. They were all out of Ropa Vieja, so I decided to get the Rabo (oxtail) - mmmm so so so good!! It came with a choice of rice - I chose Morado, which was also mixed with beans. The Rabo was such a treat - so tender and also a bit indulgent with all the fattiness My husband got the Mariscos (I think?) which was a grilled fish fillet with veggies, rice and beans. Also the Maduros (plantains) were super delicious too! We got two per plate.

While taking a bus tour of Little Havana, we stopped for Cuban coffee, snacks/ food. 2 buses went into 1 establishment and we looked up where else to go eat. Once again Yelp did not disappoint. Reviews praised the authenticity and high quality of food here and I would have to agree And highly recommend. This little gem of local fair is located within a supermarket and had fantastic looking food, based on what was delivered to tables around us. Bread basket with Big slices of fresh, soft bread for dipping in over easy eggs, gravy on your plate and is also used for a fantastic classic Cubano. Sandwich was substantial for a larger appetite and could easily be shared if you wanted to try another dish. Grilled bread gave good crunch while still soft and yielding with every bite + sopping up juices/ Mayo/ mustard. Seating available at counter, taller tables and standard height tables with enough space for a w/c to dine as well. We were told that we should allow more time for food, anywhere- even McDonald's) as there is a general "Island Time" atmosphere/ lifestyle in Miami community. However, the staff acknowledged us in a pretty timely manner to order, bring us waters and approx 7-10 minutes for our food. The Cuban coffee took the longest, I must admit I wondered if she forgot, but she came mid meal. Maybe that's how they do it? The staff were always hustling and we waited patiently for the tab and our server gave me the universal "one minute, I'm coming" gesture while multitasking and getting patrons in/ out. Total came to a little over $12.00 for 2 coffees and sandwiches! There was a bakery in back but we didn't browse. There were restroom facilities available but they were in use the 2x attempted, so cannot comment.

Their rabo encendido is 10/10. This place is amazingly good and has good flavor. I'm from California and it's really hard to find good authentic Cuban food.

I was walking to another place and limited in time, so I stopped here. I arrived a little too late, and they only had a few items from their daily special.I got the picadillo, plantains, rice, and black beans. The black beans come in a different plate, soup style. They tasted amazing. The beans were well seasoned and even had the onion slices, which I loved. I haven't tried a picadillo as good as this one in a long time. Even though I was undecided about trying it, I will probably keep coming back for it. The service is excellent, and you will see a lot of locals coming in and out. There is also a supermarket inside. Great! Because that's my next stop. I haven't even had my dessert but I needed to leave my review before I forget.

We visited Calle Ocho-Little Havana with our friends who are locals. This food was very authentic and well-seasoned. The service was great and our friend ordered for us in Spanish. The restaurant was inside the supermarket and surrounded by grocery products. I wanted the Ropa Vieja, but they were out, so I ordered the Vaca Frita with rice and beans. It was very well seasoned, but the meat lacked tenderness. It was a filling meal for a good price, and it was a good experience. They offer a variety of desserts in a bakery.

We stopped by El Nuevo Siglo for a quick lunch after walking around Little Havana. We'd been told it had some of the best Cuban food in the area, and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant is located in a supermarket, and we had no trouble finding table late in a Sunday afternoon. The ambience is super casual, and the service is super friendly (and accommodating of people looking for food recs). All that said, I can still confidently conclude that the food was the star of the show. The maduros and arroz con pollo were great, and the incredibly juicy and flavorful ropa vieja was out of this world. I've thought about it a couple of times since leaving, and I'll be back for more as soon as I can!

This place use to be a gem. I'm not sure what's changed but the food quality has diminished along with its portions. If that isn't bad their prices have also increased significantly. The quality and ambience is definitely not worth the price.

What a great little place! Went looking for a lunch spot in Little Havana and came across this unusual restaurant nestled inside a small grocery store. The place seemed to be frequented by locals and not a tourist trap at all. They had one of the best Cuban coffees I've ever had. The food was great and you definitely will not leave here hungry. I ordered the fried steak and it didn't even fit in the plate! I would highly recommend!
