The cuban sandwich was amazing! And the cordadito was so good that I had to go back for a second one!!! Can't wait to be back!

Fresh, simple, tasty and affordable! Great Cuban sandwich shop. There is no seating in the restaurant, but there is outdoor seating. The place is very clean and organized. The sandwiches are delicious! We got the Classic and the Lechon sandwiches - both were very good, and they don't skimp on ingredients. The two ladies working were super friendly and fast. These sandwiches are super filling too. We recommend this place!

My friend recommended this place to satisfy my hunger for an authentic Cuban sandwich. It was a short walk from our hotel and ordered my Classic Cubano sandwich at 9 AM. It's a small shop with two stools inside and couple tables with shade outdoors. I liked how the sandwich was packed with the pork, ham and cheese. The bread was nice and crispy. The sandwich was very filling and rich with the pork fat, so I would share this with another person. As other Yelpers suggested, check out the Pitbull theme bathroom.

My first official time in Miami and I knew I wanted a Cuban Sandwich. When I found this place it did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations of flavor. The cheese was perfectly melted and just enough to get a beautiful cheese pull. The sauce was the cherry on top and gave the sandwich exactly what it needed. Now the Cuban coffee was unbelievably delicious and an unexpected addition to our meal we decided on. The creamiest, yet smallest, cup of coffee I've ever had hands down. Not too bitter, even though I like it like that, and definitely not too sweet. I will be back for sure to try more of the menu.Make sure to pop in the bathroom, I know that sounds weird, but yes a whole PitBull vibe.

I have zero experience with Cuban food and this place took my Cubano Sandwich virginity. I am left with no regret. In Miami Beach for some work, I have been on a mission to try a Cubano. Everyone and their brother has told me to go into Miami's Little Havana neighborhood to a specific shop that is very well-known for their sandwiches and I tried but when I got there, the line was out the door, down the parking lot and into the street. Mission failed as I did not have the time for that. Flash forward by 1 day and I still had Cubano's on the brain. Just a short walk from my hotel is this hole in the wall shop that looked promising. It is tiny and I walked right by it twice because it is so small and without significant signage. But it is right on the corner of the building, spic and span clean inside and with some simple seating areas inside and out front if you want to enjoy the weather. It seemingly reps only authentic Cuban foodstuffs such as pressed cuban sandwiches, sweetbread, local sodas, and Bustelo cafe. The workers are polite and I got there at 10a but they were happy to press me out a really tasty, dense and filling Cubano of my very own for $12.95. Having never had one, I have no comparison but I did enjoy it and it seems like it had all of the required components and modeling that I have read about in authentic Cubano's. The one thing that I found that I wished for in this sandwich was a little spice. It was tasty and seasoned, but I just wanted a little burn. No downgrade for that though since it was probably served to me exactly as it is supposed to be and my taste ignorance is likely the problem, not the sandwich.I really enjoyed it and would definitely return for another one. In the midst of the tourist-trap eateries and pricey menus of Miami Beach, this place shines as an affordable, authentic representation of a big part of the Miami metro area culture.

After the beach, we were looking for Cuban sammie but everything in the area seemed like tourist traps. I don't think Cuban sandwiches should cost $15. Then, I found Cubaton via Yelp and it looked decent. So we stopped in on a Sunday at around 4. I had Pan con Lechon (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, mojo onion, & garlic-cilantro aioli) and Hubby had the Original Hot Honey Cubano (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, smoked ham, melted swiss, pickled jalapeño, mustard, & hot honey). I was expecting the pan con lechon to be dry but thankfully it wasn't. I liked the pickled onions. The sandwich could have used more aioli. The hot honey cubano was meh. I think there was just too much going on there, but we took that risk. Should have just stuck to the original. Maybe that one is better. It's not bad if you happen to be in the area, but if I was looking for a go-to Cubano shop, this wouldn't be it. P.S. Check out their bathroom. It has a fun theme.

I decided to try Cubaton for lunch after reading positive Yelp reviews. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with a table by the window and outdoor seating on the street. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who directed me to the menu and offered assistance. My boyfriend ordered the classic Cuban sandwich and I opted for the Pan Con Lechon. We enjoyed our meal outside on a lovely day in Miami. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The Cuban sandwich was a hit with my boyfriend, featuring a perfect balance of cheese, ham, pork, pickles, and mustard. My LmPan con Lechon was equally satisfying with tender pork, pickled red onions, and aioli sauce. Cubaton offers reasonable prices and street parking. Overall, a great spot for a tasty meal.

My husband and I tried this place since he loves sandwiches and he loved it! He got the Medianoche and I got the Pan con Lechon. The pork on the sandwiches was so flavorful. The pork is slow roasted and it gives it a savory and juicy flavor. The Mamey batido was also so delicious! This place is right on the beach and a great pit stop if you want to take this sandwhich to go and sit on the sand. The place itself is a tiny hole in the wall that you would miss if you didnt know about it, and the staff was so kind! I recommend this place for sure!

Just an outstanding sandwich shop. Primarily built for takeout (a small table inside with a few outside) , the cuban sandwiches are a must. I opted for the hot honey while my daughter went for the classic. Both were outstanding with quality ingredients. I enjoyed the hot honey drizzle on mine. For the size and the quality, they are definitely a value. Friendly staff. Just an all around great spot in Miami Beach. Pro-tip: For a Pitbull fix, check out the bathroom!

LOCATION & PARKING: Not sure about parking since I walked from my hotel but there's seating outside on the sidewalkVIBES: Super cute place! It felt so cosy and there were good options. It's a small place so I didn't feel overwhelmed. FOOD/PRODUCT & SERVICE: The staff was very friendly! I got the veggie sandwich and tried the mango lemonade. The sandwich was delicious and came with matchstick fries. I love vegetable sandwiches and this was by far the best I've had. The mango lemonade was a new/interesting taste but definitely not bad at all! It was different than what I've had before. OVERALL: Very much recommend! If you're looking for lunch in south beach definitely check them out!
