Absolute terrible experience.Repulsive.I was first checked in to a room that was the worst room they offered room 18 within the hotel with a busted shower pressure knob that wouldn't even pull out. They move me to room 17 and boom still some minor issues but no biggie. In total i spent $141 each night after taxes for a noisy room where I got zero sleep in.They didn't try to make it fair or nothing in which karma is a biotch now watch what's gonna happen to the sales within that hotel I can reassure you that I will run you guy's budget dry as well and you can kick rocks. They tried to run my pockets dry and make me look bad.I paid a rate of $99 more than the rest of the rooms which I got bamboozled by only checking one website.Long story short I stayed here and got charge more money the nicer I was to the staff.I barely got any sleep and was harassed for money the whole time I was there.Diana & Garrett disrespect my person in such a manner that will not be tolerated any further and there will be consequences for their actions towards me.I was escorted out of the hotel and denied a refund (Watch when I legally repossess not only my funds but I am coming for that whole location too).Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here it's like a unseasoned wanna be columbian style "Hotel".You hear every god damn thing someone does in that hotel. If my neighbor farted I would hear that gust of wind for sure. The rooms were so freaking tacky & low quality I expected 10x Better.I wouldn't stay there again unless they offered me a $100k and a BJ.Even then I'll just take the $100k and just leave. Absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry in Miami Beach in which the "Manager" Garrett is.They clearly saw I was on a budget but they knew I make money appear 24/7 so they came and tried to run my wallet dry and authorizing 600+ on my card for their room that's only worth maybe $35 a night. You people have zero idea who you done messed with I came from Boston moving down in the state of an emergency and boom this is my first experience as a newcomer.I will say if they get rid of the two mentally unstable people that work there everything will be smooth.I got cussed out by Diana for telling her "You look pretty if nobody told you that you look good today! " it's as if the nicer I was to this girl the snobbier and ruder she got.... Our convo continues and I smirked a little bit cause whole time she's talking about pricing I'm thinking "Hmm let me ask her if she has a boyfriend" she took my smirk as if I was mocking her when I was only trying to see if the feelings were mutual but nope she went all Columbian Latina Psychotic on me and then boom yeah I will never again try to make a girl who's way under my league feel like she has a chance ever again... Just a HELL NAWH.

I've been wanting to visit Gitano and their rooftop for a while now being that it is walking distance from where I stay. I've seen events and heard the food (Mexican cuisine) was phenoms. And of course the Gitano in Tulum. Gitano is located inside an Art Deco building Casa Faena in the Faena district. You walk in and it's quaint, low light, chandelier, bungalow style seating indoors. Chill ambient vibe music throughout. I was hoping for the rooftop but it's under renovations now. Our hostess and server were so nice and attentive throughout the night. No snooty south beach attitude at all. They accommodated us, even gave us a bigger table for 6 so we could spread our dishes out comfortably. Honestly she was great. It's family style plates. We ordered the chorizo in queso fundido, black beans, and the Cochinito and lamb birria. Everything is served with tortillas so you can make little tacos. It was a great combination because you can add the queso and beans to the meat and make a nice little taco. Even though it was delicious, I take away a star because the meat dishes were sort of prepared the same way, in little pots, so they tasted very similar. And the plates really didn't come with any sides, only some habanero sauces and salsas. I felt it was very heavy since it was prepared like a little stew. Again very good but heavy. The dessert was the best part for me. The churrros and the chocolate skillet were served piping hot with icecream. The churros even had popcorn. They were incredible. Can't wait for the opening of the rooftop. Gitano is definitely worth checking out. They close promptly at 11 now.

Casa Faena was truly an experience. Once I walked in I was welcomed with a smile and escorted by their lovely host who graciously opened the door of the restaurant and boutique hotel. I was redirected to my table and which was already well placed. Our server was very attentive and immediately provided us with a warm welcome and cocktails options and a run through the menu. I opted for a half lobster pasta which to my surprise was exactly as described. Everything was delicious and exactly how a lobster should be for a restaurant near the water. The desserts were to die for for that I ordered several options. The atmosphere was calmed and perfect for a date or business meeting. This visit did not disappointed . Faena has truly hit the spot with this cozy and fresh restaurant with impeccable service.

I had a lovely experience at Gitano. The service was top tier and the food was immensely flavorful. It's a cute little atmosphere at night. The restaurant is dark and the house music is bumping. This would be an ideal spot to grab dinner before partying around town. It sets the mood for a great start to your night. After your meal, you can run upstairs and chill at the Tulum inspired bar on the rooftop. It was a little empty the night we were there, but still worth seeing. I'm sure on a busy night, it's a whole vibe. Upside to it being dead - you get your drinks quicker. Remember that people. Everything we ordered hit the spot. In my opinion, they're doing everything right. The tortillas are freshly made and don't fall apart as you're eating. You can tell they make the chips and guac in house. I am a chip connoisseur and if you mess up a tortilla chip as a Mexican restaurant, well then it's a no from me, dawg. No worries here though because everything was exceptional.

I first visited Gitano (@gitano) in Tulum and loved it. It was a delight to see that the restaurant made its way to Miami while preserving its beach bohemian decor. Gitano Miami (@gitanomiami) has wonderful food downstairs and a beautiful rooftop where you can continue to enjoy their craft cocktails.Highly recommend: the kiwi branzino Add me on IG for more recommendations: @miamicheatdays

I recently came to Gitano for an event so I can only write on my experience at the rooftop. I definitely want to come back soon and try their food and sit at the restaurant area as it looked tasty! The decor at Casa Faena is truly amazing. You're transported to another place as soon as you walk through the doors. There are high ceilings, super cool art, many disco balls, and lots of seating. I headed to the event at the rooftop which has a great view of the ocean and surrounding buildings. The staff was really nice and drinks were quite tasty. There is a good amount of seating but if you rather stand and hangout there are also lots of options for that as well. The ambiance is truly cool with the greenery outside. There are two bar areas to order from and I believe you can also get bites upstairs. Definitely a fun vibe here! Will be back soon to explore further and try other things on their drink + food menus.

This is a beautiful place. The ambiance is nice and relaxed, just what you want from a small hidden gem in the area. The drinks were pretty good and pretty. Most of us liked our choices. The food was great but nothing crazy, especially given the prices. They're mostly small plates that you can share. Service was right on point and very helpful with ideas and recommendations. While I liked it. I'm not sure I would go back. Perhaps if someone is staying in the area or for a relaxed night out.

Great food! We had guacamole and the most delicious tomato and watermelon salad, lamb and chicken. Too much for 2 people. If you order one salad, one appetizer and one main course will be enough for two. For dessert we had the warm chocolate with ice cream.

Another fun find in Miami - check Stopping by for dinner here before an art show at Faena art next door, and so glad I did!The staff was very welcoming, seating us in a quiet spot. We (a colleague and I) shared the Branzino cooked in banana leaf with kiwi and cilantro and lime, guacamole with homemade tortilla chips, as well as the watermelon salad with tajin and tomatoes. Everything tasted amazing and delicious. The gigantic mounds of cilantro were welcome to top some of the best guacamole and Branzino I've had - the touch of citrus made everything have its own unique but synchronous flavors. We each had a class of wine, and those selections were tasty too. The Cabernet merlot blend I had was delicious. The prices for drinks were in line with Miami Beach prices along with the food. This is a great spot to try for sure!
