The croqueta appetizer was great, pig ears were too salty (basically left untouched), and lamb chops were amazing!!! I'd come back just for the lamb chops and sushi"

"Paperfish is one of my favorites places in brickell. The combination of fresh delicious seafood and a very cute pink forward ambiance inside gives you the high scale dining experience without needing to wear a suit and tie. The staff is always so kind and helpful with recommendations. While not the most vegetarian friendly menu in town you can still find things to enjoy if you are looking to dodge seafood entirely. One of my favorite dishes is actually the miso soup. It's very simple yet flavorful and a great appetizer before you get to the main course. I also really love the inside / outdoor option. If it wasn't so hot out I would have definitely preferred to sit outside, but the inside was still a great atmosphere."

"Miami locals seem to love this spot. I revisited here recently on a weekday for lunch. My initial time many years ago did not seem to leave too memorable an impression on me.This place was absolutely packed for lunch and quite loud inside. It's better to come right when they open or order takeout. We waited almost 30 minutes for a table, during which time many people came to pick up their takeout/delivery orders. Our server was incredibly busy and made the mistake of giving us another table's sushi. She quickly corrected this once we brought it to her attention. We got the eel rice, which is off the menu but they can make it for you. Honestly the eel tastes like the frozen ones you can get at the Asian supermarket and heat it up yourself. I thought their rice was really delicious. The sushi was solid and the fish tasted fresh."

Although the wall mural points out the opening as 12/12/12, it feels like a cozy institution, like it's been in the Brickell area forever. Their seating runs the gamut from dog-friendly outside, to both the bar and tables inside. Service was really attentive, and the food tasty. The volcano chicken I enjoyed had a sweet bit of hear to it, and the milk tea was a great dessert."

"Bali Cafe is a nice break from the Cuban (albeit amazing Cuban) food that Miami has to offer with fantastic hospitality as well. I ordered the steamed shumai and laksa noodle dish. Both were delicious and priced very reasonably. I loved the use of the peanut sauce for the shumai (versus the typical soy sauce) and the laksa curry was not overpowering but very tasty. My server was also very accommodating and super nice- you can tell that this is a mom and pop shop and they deserve all the business that they get."

The place is HUGE with multiple hibachi stations, a sushi bar/room, and a bar with TVs.Our waiter brought us drinks and we ordered our food-Hibachi steak- juicy meat, flavor a little lackluster, would go with teriyaki steak next time -Samurai excellence- teriyaki steak and colossal shrimp with the scallop add on. Hint: colossal shrimp is significantly better than regular shrimp. They bring you a small salad with ginger dressing and a brothy onion soup. Both meals came with rice (upgrade to fried, it comes with chicken in it), zucchini with onions, and a shrimp appetizer.Insider tip: order two yum yum sauces and decline the chili ginger dipping sauce. The yum yum sauce is probably the best ive ever tried.We really enjoyed the green tea at the end!"

I have very rarely dined in but when I have the service has always been very good. They recently underwent renovations and the restaurant inside is now more updated. "I will never stop saying that I LOVE Momosan's brunch! You ask me to go there for brunch? I will clear my calendar to show up.Why is it so great? An unlimited brunch with a bottomless drink option that gives you access to a wide array of cold and hot appetizers, sushi, rice and noodles for $55 ($70 with the bottomless drink option). And the offerings are all. So. Good. The best way to try as many dishes as possible. The best is to go with a big group to try different dishes together. You can order two dishes per person per order, and some dishes only have two pieces, but some are much more shareable.I always love getting the hamachi tacos (two per order), made with a crispy wonton for a taco shell, and topped with scallions and seaweed to make a great fleshy crispy bite. The spicy wontons are soupy slippery oily great and good to share, but I don't judge if you wouldn't want to share much. The sushi rolls are filled with quality ingredients, but my personal go-tos are the stone pot, bowls, and poke bowls. The poke don has very fresh, well dressed tuna or salmon (or both). The buri bap, a yellowtail stone pot bowl, is a must. It comes with thick slabs of soy marinated yellowtail atop scorching rice and bibimbap vegetables. The staff mix the dish table side, so by the time it gets to you, there could be some crisping going on (yum).The shishito peppers and their umami laden bonito flakes are plentiful and a great veggie dish to munch on while deciding on your next items to get. you're probably wondering which bao to get, to which I would suggest getting both the softshell crab and pork belly baos. What do you have to lose, you're eating an unlimited menu! The softshell crab has great flavor, but not much flesh, so keep that in mind to contrast with the fluffy bao. A hit with every table that I sat at are the sticky ribs, since they are incredibly tender and dowsed in slightly spicy hoisin sauce. With a big enough group, you won't end up ordering just one dish of it!Honestly? With the size of the menu and the options, unless someone has a bazillion food aversions, you and whoever you come with will find several things to love, if not fall in love with the whole menu. The bottomless drink add-on is worth it when you have a ride, since the drink offerings are so unique compared to other places. I've had plenty of the house Morimoto sake, always a great pairing with the dishes. The lychee mimosa is delightful, albeit sweet, to drink and eat. The sake sangria is refreshing and a much needed variation of the standard sangria. many of my friends were obsessed with the Yuzu Shiso Spritzer, which is a mocktail but is included in the drink package and is a great mixer with sake (haha).Should you choose to come to brunch, and I can't stress how much you should, be prepared to stay for a few hours. Every time that I have gone, service has been very slow, no matter how sparsely seated the dining room is. There seems to be a staffing shortage, but the orders always come through. I would suggest grabbing as many drink orders as you can, if you are getting the bottomless drink package, since you won't know the next time you will be able to. Other than those points, there's no reason you shouldn't make some brunch plans here as soon as you can!"

I stumbled upon this spot on a rainy day and it was honestly one of the best Thai/Japanese meals I've had in a really really long time. The service was great, everything was efficient and the food came out fairly quickly. I was craving Ramen as well as some fried rice with red curry and wowww. 10/10 on ALL the food. The ramen, out of the world!! The flavor was amazing, the broth, the ground chicken, delicious. And the red curry with the fried rice was also perfect. Fulfilled all my cravings. The sushi was a little plain, but I had picked a very simple tuna sushi, so that's on me. Other than that, It was soul comforting food. I can't wait to come back and try some different sushi and the other ramens."

There was an additional 18% service charge on top of added in 20% automatic gratuity. Overall, happy with this sushi option in South Beach that we found on a whim."

White walls, white tablecloths-kind of what made a restaurant "fancy" in the 90s-00s. "Ordered takeout from Umami while in the area and it was a bit of a struggle. We tried ordering via UberEats and ran into a few problems. It was lunchtime and we were trying to order some things off the lunch menu & the regular menu (they were separate through the app) and it kept erasing part of our order. We figured out that they only allow you to order through one of the menus. When we tried to only order off of their regular menu & were ready to place our order, an error message came up and it said they have a cap on the price you were allowed to order for delivery at $100. We eventually gave up on ordering it through there and decided we'd just pick up the food for takeout. As for the takeout experience, everything was packaged nicely and the food was ready when we got there to pick it up. We got the NY Strip Hibachi lunch, the Steak & Shrimp Hibachi lunch, crab rangoons, and a few rolls.Everything was pretty good. The only thing that was a little interesting were the rolls. I ordered the Umami Dynamite roll and it didn't seem like what was advertised in some of the photos. It only had what looked to be a majority of scallops as part of the dynamite. My friend had another roll that was topped with what looked more like a dynamite mix than the Umami Dynamite roll. My other friend got a roll that was topped with seared tuna (I think?) and it looked a little questionable in color. She ended up taking some of it off to finish her roll. Other than the hiccups in ordering through UberEats & some subpar rolls, Umami was pretty good."

The tuna pizza is also the perfect crispiness, with a drizzle of honey to die for. Mr.bombtastic roll was also heavenly with crunchy quinoa, tuna, salmon, shrimp, all the things. I love how most rolls come with tobiko or ikura to give it More Flavor. My favorite part is that you can have the rolls rolled in quinoa or arugula rather than rice! "Like many restaurants in Miami, Blue Ribbon is located in a hotel, specifically within The Plymouth Hotel. The menu may be small, but offers a thoughtfully curated selection. We started with the Miso Soup and ordered the Sakana San Shu and Negi Toro for our rolls. When our order arrived, we were surprised to find that we had to mix the miso into the broth ourselves. While the rolls were on the pricey side, they were of exceptional quality. We also sampled a dish from the Japanese charcoal grill, which was good but didn't stand out as much as we had hoped--more like something you might find at a typical Japanese BBQ but twice the price. Overall, Blue Ribbon provided a perfect escape from the usual hustle of Miami, offering an intimate and more quiet dining experience."
