I wasn't able to get a table because they were booked on both nights, so I sat at the bar outside. The view outside is magnificent at night, so it was actually the perfect spot to sit in the restaurant. The first night, I had the Black Truffle Linguine. It was delicious!! The entree also came with a side, so I tried the Smoked Mahi Mahi Dip.The second night, I had the Wagyu Double Cheeseburger. It tasted great, and I recommend it also.By the way, the drinks here are awesome!"

Lourdes D. "Came here for the first time for myboo's birthday and absolutely loved it. No frills, no Miami hype, just great Italian food and amazing service. For starters, they bring out deliciously warm and crispy bread with a side of tomatoes. We ordered the fried calamari and zucchini app, which was lightly breaded and topped with a zesty sauce. I went with the pear stuffed agnolotti, which comes in a cream sauce and sprinkled with chopped figs. The perfect combination of salty and sweet. My boo got a mushroom pasta in a white cream sauce that was also quite tasty. All portions were significant and filling.I can't end a meal without having dessert, so I opted for the tiramisu, while my boo went for the apple tart topped with vanilla ice cream. The tiramisu was underwhelming , but the apple tart was DIVINE. I'm not a huge fan of apple desserts, but it was topped with a burnt caramel sauce that I'd gladly bathe in.The service was incredible. They had a big party at the same time we were there, but I never felt ignored. The service was attentive but not suffocating. I'll definitely be coming back!As for parking, this spot is right on Miracle Mile, so plenty of street parking and a parking garage on the street behind the restaurant."

Sergio F. "Although I consider myself to be a little less intimidating, I do agree with Anton Ego in that sometimes the best dish to try is the simplest one from a restaurant.Having taken over Oggi's old location along the 79th Street Causeway, Osteria del Teatro was my dinner spot last night. I'd enjoyed a very active day and with Italian still being my favorite kind of food I wanted to give it a try. I had enjoyed Oggi and remembered Osteria for its original location in South Beach next to the Cameo. But enough of the history lesson!I came in around closing time and was able to snag a table with a view of North Bay Village street life and two TV's. Service, from I believe was the manager, was pretty attentive. I started with a large & well blended bowl of pasta fagioli with plenty of beans and elbow pasta in a hearty stew along with a basket of different breads, garlic sauce, butter & balsamic vinegar. My main was one of the simplest & classic dishes in Italian cuisine - rigatoni & meatballs. Osteria's was a set of 4 juicy meatballs, a generous helping of hearty tomato sauce (augmented with black pepper), pancetta and a creamy serving of Ricotta. My plate was well flavored & generous enough to have lunch leftover for today.Besides portion size, I had to leave space for dessert! I enjoyed their "tulip" pastry crust with a creamy sweet zabayon and plenty of fresh berries. The menu said it was supposed to include affogato but didn't. I guess it may have been an oversight but I did order a latte for some evening caffeine. As I mentioned, it's right on the 79th Street Causeway and super close to Full Moon Beach. It's a nice place for a date night dinner on the way to the beach."

You deserve a REAL cocktail, and Mercato has some really special offerings for $7 each. There are also some truly tasty appetizers in the "are you kidding me right now" category, from a mushroom dish I had (yes!) to some killer bruschetta. You can skim the menu, and find some medium-sized apps for a decent price if you want to sample some pf the bigger flavors. The eggplant parm app fit this bill for me. I went twice and was not disappointed.*Note from my companion-best espresso martini, and only place we found with one on the HH menu."

The clients have a special table. I had the branzino, grilled branzino with a size of mixed sauteed mushrooms in garlic and olive and parsley white wine. That was to die for. He had the grilled skirt steak, which was amazing. It came with fries and mixed vegetables. We had a little size of pasta that was al dente, perfect pair with a nice bottle of wine suggested by our server. The ambience is a family style, very nice, only 10 tables. Spectacular. Pulled this one up after doing some quick research, and I am thankful that we ended up coming here because the food was tremendous!Had the Fettuccine Alfredo (added some shrimp) and the Fettuccine Bolognese. Flavor was amazing on the pastas! But what really wowed me was the quality of the fettucine itself. Like damn, I could just tell that these noodles were on another level quality-wise. Us Angelenos love ourselves not only a food hall, but also an Italian one at that. My fingers are crossed this restaurant makes its way over to the West Coast someday. Although I called this a food hall, it's still more like a sit-down restaurant with different food stations and a menu you order from. What makes it unique is its open-kitchen concept but times eleven because that's how many there are from pasta, pizza, grilled meats, a wine bar and more. We ordered the tagliolini pasta with black truffle, seafood crudo and a mixed kebab plate with rib-eye and filet mignon as well as glasses of wine. Everything tasted authentic and delicious, I wished I could've tried more of their menu. The meal turned out kind of pricey but hey, when on vacation, right? Service was good despite being quite packed and bustling, our waitress was attentive and came by periodically to check on us. We came in on a busy Saturday night but were seated after waiting around 10 minutes which was nice and probably could be attributed to how large the space is."

When we left, they were packed! I highly suggest making a reservation, which I had done.We started with their complimentary garlic bread. Holy moly! This stuff is Goooood. It is a little greasy, but not too much. It is so good that I ordered a whole loaf to bring home. The sauce is a nice added touch. I love red sauce and this one is amazing. The Italian house salad is very good. There is soppressata in it. I asked for it on the side but it was very good. There is also hearts of palm which is awesome and a rare find. The dressing was very good. Our server dropped a piece of lettuce as she was serving our salads and puts it back in the bowl with the leftover salad. Not the most hygienic thing to do but ok. This was a bowl we were still going to take salad from. The chicken parmigiana was ok. It's not bad or anything but it's funny because I actually prefer the one I make. This is odd because I am not an expert cook or anything. I do like theirs just not in love with it. The size of it is huge!!! That is definitely enough for four people. We did not even eat half. The dessert is their version of a "hoho" cake. Our server offered ice cream instead of the included toasted marshmallow sauce which I was unsure I would enjoy. This cake is kind of good? Also, did not love it. The highlights were the definitely the bread and the salad."

I stopped by for dinner during night 2 of Basel 2022 and it was packed back to how it was during it's beginning. Heck, there were even a few chefs from other Wynwood spots dining there. I managed to get a seat at the bar, and started with a well blended, flavored and smooth pineapple mojito #becauserum (Hey it makes art easier to interpret :) My dinner was another favorite - chicken Parmesan. Picture a serving of Al dente pasta with both marinara sauce and fresh tomatoes and a well seasoned chicken breast occupying major plate real estate. The aforementioned chicken breast has a light spread of cheese but heavy on the marinara how I love. Add a dash of red pepper flakes and you'll enjoy a filling and rich platter. Leave some space for their desserts though. The strawberry gelato garnished with a flower was refreshing but my eyes caught a bombolini with fresh berries I need to try next time. There is so much to look at while you are dining. We loved it. We were in a hurry so we both ordered the same thing. What stood out for us and one that we had never tasted was the Fazzoleti Di Pere e Formaggio. It was a pasta dish filled with taleggio cheese and fresh pears in a creamy Ricotta and shrimp sauce. It was good and different. But the dish that we ooohed and awwwed about was the Tiramisu!! That was the hit of the day! Creamy, melted in your mouth and delicious! The service was attentive and friendly! Our water glasses was always filled. The only disappointment was that they keep the front door open at all times, which lets the hot Miami heat enter the restaurant. They do not have air conditioning! We came here a little after 5pm and got seated since we were hungry. Service was quick and friendly. My husband ordered the capricciosa pizza and I ordered the lasagna. He loved the pizza, but I think it was too thin and floppy. The toppings were ok but lacked flavor. The crust was airy in parts and gummy in others, I just wasn't super impressed. But what really confused me was the lasagna. It apparently had bacon in it? Wtf? It didn't look like prosciutto so I'm pretty sure it was bacon. The flavor overpowered the taste of the red sauce and just the dish in general. I ate some of the red sauce around the plate and it was really lovely and delicate on its own. The bacon just ruined the actual pasta. It's called lasagna classica but there's nothing classic about it. We ordered a tiramisu and 2 coffees after. The tiramisu was different but delicious. The cream was more runny than I'm used to but it was really yummy. Our coffees were very nice too. Prices were great. The bill was $48 for the 2 entrees, dessert and 2 coffees. Julie F. "This was a hard review to write. But I decided to be kind with 4 stars -- as my meal was good. But there was a mix of good, not so good, and a few strange things here. The restaurant is located in an unusual area off the main drag on a street that might give one pause when parking. And it is street parking. But there are a number of new hotels in the areas and unsuspecting tourists walking around. It's an area that I definitely would not have walked in at night several years ago. The restaurant is small. There are a limited number of tables close together. So reservations are definitely recommended. When my friend called for reservations, she was told she had called too soon -- and to call back within two weeks that we wanted to dine. Don't sit at the one table near the bathroom, though, you'll hear everything. Our service was good, but leisurely. I assume we were asked to "dine leisurely" and that this is on purpose as there is only one waiter for everyone. He was nice, but calling the gentlemen "captain" and the ladies "madame" can get old about the 10th time... We were given small bruschetta toasts to start -- one tiny one per person -- which were fine. And a basket of strange garlic bread. The bread was sliced from the package rye bread with oil and parsley and not much garlic. They should definitely change this. We skipped appetizers and went right to the entrees. My lasagna was good even with the unusual layer of hard boiled eggs. My husband's lamb pappardelle was served cold so he had it reheated. The pasta was good, but the sauce was disappointing as it didn't have much lamb in it. My friend's gnocchi were okay but nothing special. Her boyfriend liked his shrimp and zucchini over pasta. For dessert, each couple shared some tiramisu. If you like whipped cream, which I do, you will like this version. It was a small piece covered in whipped cream and was light and airy. Another odd thing -- we were charged for our water. We didn't order water. It was immediately poured into glasses from a small supermarket bottle as we were seated. We each got half a bottle in a glass for which we were charged $2.50. The prices are quite expensive. I'm still glad we went here. We had a good time with our friends. But now I know..."
