I came to this place on a whim. It was better than I expected given that my experience with Miami brunches have been just okay.I love the creativity they apply to their food and beverages and it's well priced. My sever was Jamie and she was great. She came to help shortly after I was seated. She explained the menu and gave me great options given my dietary needs and what I was in the mood for. They have a huge menu which I think is a strength because brunch food can be redundant.I will definitely return.

First time posting although I've visited this location multiple times. I have to say I've never been disappointed with the food and service with today being no exception. For parking you can find street parking or there's supposedly a nearby garage that will valet for $10 if you have a stamp from the restaurant (I've never used this). The restaurant's space itself is welcoming and modern as you can see in the photos. There is outdoor seating if you so choose. I highly recommend you try one of their coffee drinks here. Usually I get a latte. You can get them hot or cold and they come with a delicious rim of caramel and graham crackers. The coffee itself is excellent. Today I had the Salvador Revueltos. The eggs and meat were well cooked and flavorful. The toast that comes with the Revueltos is amazing with the rosemary flavor and had a good texture to it as well. My wife had the Tostados Francescas Locas. I tried some of her meal and the bread was soft, moist and paired well with the Nutella. Overall I highly recommend the Bistro Cafe if you're looking for a great breakfast/brunch to try.

Appropriately well-known/celebrated/busy breakfast/brunch place in a borderline neighborhood of sorts -- but definitely worth the visit. That said, I also won't be back -- but that gets to pricing and a house policy that I describe later. The good:-GREAT server. Wonderful sense of humor, fabulous explanation of the menu, and a nice direction to check out their Instagram site (see later comment, too) for photos of various of the dishes.-Crazy fascinating and diverse menu. It IS worth a look at their website or insta because it's difficult to even explain the breadth of types and preparations of dishes they had. Some basic, some super cool, most with a Cuban/Lain flair. In fact, the descriptions on the menu are in Spanish first, English second. Took us a second!-Cool room. DJ even at breakfast. Nice buzz. -Professionally run for sure.Servers/managers running around with earpieces -- they know how to run a restaurant.-Ample portions. Maybe even HUGE. My guest had a variation on a Croque Madame/Monte Cristo; I went with a more traditional egg and cheese with chorizo style dish. Neither of us could finish -- so there were additional meals to be had.-Crowded -- which is a good signI'm a believer that the restaurant market is pretty efficient, so a popular place is usually a good place. The not so good:-Expensive. Borderline crazy stupid expensive. Breakfast for two of us with tip was more than $70...and that was one entree each and two cups of coffee (see below). At least there was food to take home -- the dishes were between one and one-and-a-half meals for sure.-No coffee refills? At breakfast? Seriously? For just plain black drip coffee? That's not OK. Beyond not OK...A fella could expire from lack of caffeine.-Barking dogsI get it. People want to bring their dogs. It's fun. It's cute. But when two dogs at the next tables bark at each other incessantly and nobody does anything...well...That, too, is not OK. Beyond not OK.-Attitude/arrogance. Not from the server, who was fabulous and kind and good natured and attentive and fun, but from the chef or establishment. When I asked for some slight modifications -- eggs scrambled instead of fried and english muffin on the side instead of underneath -- to their Huevos Rancheros, the answer was a hard NO. Polite and apologetic, but definitively not going to do it. To this frequent diner (in many cities, countries, price points, cuisines), any reasonable request -- and those requests were MORE than reasonable for a breakfast -- ought to be accommodated. It's not like I wanted to examine the chickens who laid the eggs or swap out salsa for caviar. It is, after all, 2024, and this is a nice breakfast place in Miami, not a Michelin-rated restaurant in Paris. My guest speculated that reason for this preposterous policy is that the restaurant was so focused on their Insta presence that they wanted to make sure that everything was photographed "just so" (because now everyone has to take a photo of their food...sheesh) rather than the way their guests wanted it. In fact, the DJ seemed to also be the photographer, working the room for smiling pics of diners whose entrees were photo-worthy.In truth, I almost walked in astonishment out when the poor server was in the difficult position of having to tell us they don't accommodate such requests...but I changed my order instead. To something I wanted less. Which, too, is not OK. More than not OK.So still lots good, but lots disappointing, and a reason that I (1) gave it only four stars -- but STILL four stars -- and (2) don't plan to return.(and no photos -- their Insta has hundreds of thousands of followers and probably that many photos)

I've visited the Bistro 2x, once for weekend brunch and the other for weekday lunch. Both days were steady crowd but naturally weekend was busier. The vibe is super cool and I didn't have any complaints with service either time. They highly recommend looking at their IG page for ideas about what to order vs strictly sticking to the menu. They have some pretty fancy drinks here, I've enjoyed the caramel latte 5-star goodness, iced butter pecan cappuccino which was just as good as well as an alcoholic beverage, piña colada which came with a popsicle. That one was $20 and had entirely too much whip in the glass. Now where Bistro has let me down both times were the food. I ordered the tacos (2 shrimp and 2 churrasco steak and the shrimp could have used some charring but the steak was supppppper salty and overcooked. Ruined the bite for me. The tacos came with plenty guac and three sauces, two of which were sweet, I don't want a sweet green sauce. My dining companions ordered the fried chicken BLT and like every meal, the portions are big and he loved it; the other ordered stuffed avocado and her churrasco steak was super salty as well but she enjoyed her meal more than me. The first time I came, I ordered a dish that also came with steak, shrimp, potatoes, plantains (which I didn't like the added sweetness so I didn't eat) with a fried egg on top. The meats were not nearly as salty as the last meal but it too failed to impress me. It was missing something, sauce, or other to bring it together. Came with sour cream and needed it but also more. The menu is extensive, I'll either come here solely for the drinks and the vibes or keep trying the food til I find something I like. The dishes aren't cheap so won't give too many more chances with that.

I've been hearing excellent reviews and reading social media posts about Bistro Cafe for a long time. As a result, when I had the opportunity to choose a restaurant for a breakfast meeting, I was thrilled to finally visit this restaurant. Their extensive cuisine delighted me. There were so many possibilities, and I wanted to order everything. As I was making my decision, I observed that every meal presented by the staff walking past me appeared to be quite substantial and mouthwatering. My very attentive server, Ender, assisted me in selecting the Croissant Costa Rica from their extensive selection of croissant options. Everything about it was delicious. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly. The eggs were fluffy. The melted cheese and avocado combined well with the honey and powdered sugar added to the croissant.Mimosas were the perfect complement to such a delicious dish. I was happy to learn that the mimosas were two for one. Double the pleasure and double the fun! Overall, the restaurant was spacious and clean. This included the restrooms. The only downside was the difficulty of finding parking. There was only street parking available. I believe I also saw that they offered valet parking for $10. However, I did not notice a valet area. Maybe that begins at a particular time?

Back for another great meal at Bistro Cafe. We went in a Friday at around 10:45am and there was no wait. The food as always was delicious but this time around the service could have been a little better. The vibe is always very happy and we always enjoy our meals. The parking as always around that area is not the best, but we got lucky and got a spot on the street behind. Public parking is $3 an hour.

Had the pleasure of grabbing brunch with some friends here and the food did not disappoint. The portions are huge! Definitely shareable size. Omelettes were delicious, eggs were tasty and the steak was nice and tender. The Crab salad was also really tasty. Definitely recommend the Trifongo as well, it's sooo flavorful. The restaurant was packed but we didn't wait for long. Staff were friendly and quick to serve us. Great spot for some casual brunch!

Amazing place to gather in a group or even to have a lovely place to yourself. I didnt feel rushed to leave, the food was spectacular. Every dish we ordered was so well put together. The quesadilla was delicious! The pistachio coffee drink was so good! I ordered it hot because we sat inside and it was a little cold. The ambiance was calming. The service was beyond my expectations. Im coming to this place at least once a month! Tip- i highly recommend looking at the menu before you arrive. It is a bit overwhelming. Equivalent to a Cheesecake Factory but not as many pages. I expected their food to not be good because of so many different food options and they really did surprise me!

Bistro cafe is one of my favorite breakfast places in Miami. Food is always GREAT!!! The food never fails me. Drinks were amazing . I had the Dragonfruit margarita 10/10 . Food I had a Gyro. It was good. So packed with all three meats. Didn't miss at all. Potatoes were fried nicely. My partner had waffles and eggs. He said the waffles were nice and fluffy. I will always return to Bistro Cafe !! My only issue they had a large dog barking in the restaurant. Like why are animals inside restaurants. On patio cool but inside. Some people are allergic or have fear of large animals.
