Atchana's Homegrown Thai

Favorite Thai place in the grove. Their portions are huge even though the prices are steep for Thai food. Ordered green curry and pad Thai and it was delicious, service is fairly quick but if you're starving just get some apps, mains do take some time to come out.

- Cute spot on the corner of the street with outdoor seating - The Tom yum soup lacked flavour, even at a mild spice level - The pad see ew ($23) was incredibly salty but a large portion - They have a huge fish tank inside which is pretty cool - What I absolutely hated was feeling rushed during the whole meal. I was trying to catch up with friends and the waitress frequently came to ask if we needed anything else. She cleared the table even when I wanted to keep nibbling on my dish. She also brought the check even though we didn't ask for it. - It felt as though she was rushing us out even though there wasn't a line of customers waiting - Not a great experience at all and the food is average

Thai is one my favorite cuisines, so naturally I had to try Atchana. Their green curry was phenomenal - Thai hot with all my favorite veggies, this is arguably becoming one of my favorites in the Grove. Staff are friendly and have great recommendations. Indoor and outdoor seating available; street parking available nearby.

When I lived in Miami, I couldn't get in to Atchana but now I know better and came during lunch and wow. I'm so sorry I missed all the opportunities to dine here when I had the chance. The staff is so nice, like over the top but they are on point with their service. The space is cute, it's in the corner and although it's not big, it's still welcoming and warm, every part of coconut grove is warm. The food, yum! I ordered some apps and a soup and it was delicious. the portions I was to say were generous, I had enough for left overs the next day. I will be back!

Great homey restaurant to enjoy Thai food in the heart of the Grove. Nice outdoor and indoor seating areas with cool indoor fishtank! Being a big fan of Thai food I was happy to find out that many of the dishes could be made vegan or vegetarian leaving the meat out. Great service and delicious food, would have just preferred a better Thai side salad.

The food is delicious and I can't wait to travel back here to eat it! The service was good! The Ambiance was cute. Can't wait to go back!!!

I love to try new Thai places and this one did not disappoint. I love that they had outdoor seating. It's a pretty big patio and has a pretty chill vibe. It didn't hurt that we were there on a beautiful evening, perfect for sitting outside! But the food far out shown all of that. Some of the tastiest Thai food I've had in a while. We always get pad thai, if that's not a stand out then is it really a good Thai food restaurant? I'm happy to report that the pad thai was spot on. One thing that I regret is that the waiter didn't ask for our spice level preference and neither of us thought to ask for medium so both dishes were mild. However, the service we received was amazing!! Very friendly and answered any of our questions. I am really wishing we had a place like this near me in Michigan, with the weather to match!!

5 stars for the food, 3.5/5 stars for the service. This is some of the best Thai food I've had in Miami so far. We got the beef and chicken satay which comes with a little coal grill so you can warm and char the meat. Additionally, we got the pad Thai and pad see ew. Both of these were on par to dishes in California (I'm from California where there's Thai food on every corner). I would definitely go back for special occasions as it is a bit pricy. Also service is slow.

I am a self proclaimed Thai food aficionado, and I am so happy I was able to find Atchana's. This family owned restaurant is found in the heart of Coconut Grove. I love how cozy this place is and it is a perfect spot to get some comfort food. My friend and I ordered the Drunken noodles and the green curry. The portion sizes are huge, definitely perfect for sharing. Both items were really good. The noodles were very tasty and it paired well with the curry. The curry also comes with rice. I like the spice of the curry - it was a good kick!My only tip coming here is to be prepared. Expect to wait, since this place gets pretty packed during peak hours. If that's the case, I don't recommend parking at the lot across by it - since it is so expensive. So, the best bet is to park right by a close street parking.PS: they are also puppy friendly with a nice menu selection for your furbaby!

Whenever in need of something different and looking for takeout, Atchana's is one of our "go to". Food is great. Customer Service is great. We've eaten there a couple of times and it's nice inside and outside :)
