"Took my first Cousin here for brunch which was a hit!!! Although, there's not a live DJ on the weekdays, it was still a nice vibe! Our waitress was awesome and provided our food in a timely manner. There's plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. There's also plenty of parking on site. Thanks to this awesome staff for providing great service."
"100% yes to the happy hour service and menu at this place . Main entrance is through the back and hostess stand is kind of inns weird tucked back corner ( but you'll find it ) . I tried their melon , mint and tequila drink off their specialty menu . I loved all the cute touches and style of the bar , it made the dining experience even better . Def want to try out the ice cream spot next door , Churn :) Yum !"

"We love Gilbert and the food scene! Liberty Market has been on our list and we finally came for breakfast on 7/13/24 for my birthday. They open at 8am so we surprised to see how busy they were at 8:05am when we arrived - about 80% full inside. The hostess said that there is often a line when they unlock the door. We understand why. There's a lot to like about the Liberty Market. It's historic, the atmosphere is fun, there is inside & outside seating, the onesy bathrooms are all decorated different, everyone is so friendly and customer service oriented and the food is great! We ordered the demi-breakfast - one with pancakes, sausage and fried eggs and the other with blueberry pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. The eggs were yummy with a nice orange yoke. We are really fussy about pancakes and these are in our top three! We liked the sausage, but loved the bacon. Our server, James was terrific and we also really enjoyed talking to one of the managers named Harry. Harry was great to give us a little historical background on Liberty Market. We plan to come back on Tuesday for my husband's birthday breakfast! The cinnamon roll looks pretty good! We may have to try them! Our"
"Date: Sunday, July 2nd, 2023Time: around 12:30pmParty of: 2Meal: Brunch / Breakfast / LunchHow: OpenTable WaitlistWait: about 35 mins*Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar ($14)*Smoked Brisket Hash ($19)*Cobb Salad ($15)The main reason to come here? The bloody mary bar. I'm not a huge fan of bloodys in general, but I adore making a bouquet of veggies, cheese, and meat. Plus, you gotta do it for the gram! (I'm not on IG, but you know what I mean.) The toppings offered are aplenty, so go and add as much as you'd like. (I think you are only allowed the one trip.) Honestly, this in itself is a meal. The bloody part I thought was okay. Could have been spicier and more boozy, but you come here for the toppings. Food wise, everything else was all right. Tho I found it interesting everything came with onion rings.Ambiance wise, I am waaay too old for this place. All these youngins with their loud music? Grandma emoji right here. Very clubby vibe. And I saw some girls in little black dresses with heels. A bit too much for me in the daylight.Service was great. The person helping us out with the bloody bar gave me the rundown. She was also very impressed with my cocktail which made me smile. For me, definitely a spot where I go, one and done. The bloody bar was fun and I'm glad I experienced it. But with the wait and loud music, I don't need to do it again.REVIEW #3460"
"THIS PLACE... 5 STAR 100%. Cafe Monarch is heaven. From the second we walked in, we were absolutely taken care of by the staff!! The service is over the top, absolutely perfect! The food is INCREDIBLE. It is gorgeous inside, the bar area is beautiful. If you sit at the bar it's the only place that you can order a la carte. Otherwise it's a fixed menu. We were told that the chef is in his late 20s ((insanely talented)) and everynight there is a fixed menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and truly perfect. I could not tell you what my favorite dish was, except all of them.Yes, it is pricey, but you are getting the very best of the best. If you are on a budget maybe this isn't the spot for you, this is definitely a place where you treat yourself ((or in my case my bestie brought me here for my birthday)). If you are looking for a 5 star meal AND experience I promise you, this place knows what they are doing which is taking care of their guests! I will not be back soon BUT I cannot wait for that day to come!"
"This is a wonderful brunch spot in Scottsdale! Surprisingly there wasn't a wait when I visited, despite the restaurant being very busy. You can order at the counter and there is plenty of staff to check on you and bring out orders. I had the farmhouse which consisted of eggs (your choice), sautéed veggies and toast. It also comes with protein and they're able to substitute tofu. Everything was delicious and I especially loved the house jam The restaurant is very open with lots of natural light and great ambiance. I would definitely come here again!"
"I stopped in here for lunch today and really great experience!I chose to sit at the bar and it was pretty empty when I came in here at noon. Bartender was nice and service was spot on.Noodle salad with seared ahi tuna was delicious. Lunch total with beer, salad and upcharge for ahi tuna, tax and tip came to close to $50. Not exactly a cheap lunch. They did throw in a free appetizer coupon on next visit, which is good for 2 weeks.Nice spot and would consider coming back when I feel like treating myself to a nice lunch every once in awhile.Just the seared ahi tuna is worth it!Nice date spot too to impress that special someone!"
"Came here on Easter Sunday and we had a wonderful time! To start off, the complimentary sourdough bread with butter was amazing. We even received some extra to take home! I had the pasta with shrimp and scallops and it was delicious. Others in our party had the chicken and salmon, they all devoured their food! We were also celebrating a birthday and were given complimentary dessert. I don't usually like creme brulee but theirs is top notch!! Overall, the service and food were amazing. The restaurant is clean and relaxing. We had a great family dinner."
"Great place for brunch with gluten free options. All of our food items were delicious and service was quick. Walkable area, overall great place to try."
"Good spot for breakfast. Latte was just ok. My friend got a cold brew and didn't like it. I went with the sweet potato bowl and it was very good. The hash mix is pre made so I couldn't take the leeks out but it was still ok. I would have liked an additional egg it only comes with one. My friend had the breakfast sandwich and said it was amazing. We split the French toast and it was just ok. It was a bit dry. The topping was good though. Service was good. Place is cute. Would recommend"

"Oh how I love this restaurant! My friend Angie chose this place for us to meet up. I don't know how I had never even heard of it before she made our reservations. I am so incredibly glad that she brought me here because this place is amazing. The atmosphere is is what I would call upscale French country. They are beautiful arrangements of porcelain wear champagne bottles and even figurines of chickens. There are fleur-de-lis painted on the ceiling and the plates are all provincial China. There is a lovely garden patio, halloween sat inside. When we were seated, we received bread with pesto, some olives, and some marcona olives. We began our order with the baked chevre with crostini and the bacon, gruyere and leek tartlet. The tartlet had a crust that was so light and flaky and buttery that it literally melted in your mouth. So delicious! We move out your entrees. The beef bourguignon's burgundy gravy was so rich and flavorful and delicious and the meat was so tender. The scallops in white wine sauce and gruyere with wild mushrooms was superb. The scallops were huge - - I only ate 1 and 1/2 so I could have room for dessert. Dessert was fabulous! We had the chocolate raspberry cake with fresh raspberries, buttercream, and chocolate mousse. It was a wonderful dark chocolate. We also had the tuxedo cake--yellow cake layered with chocolate ganache, chocolate mousse, and white chocolate buttercream. It was heavenly! Our server was great. She gave us plenty of time and did not rush us at all. We were a bit surprised when she brought us plastic to go boxes, instead of taking our plates back in boxing them as you would expect in a place like this. That said, they've only just started dinner service, it may not be in the groove yet. This place is wonderful. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely, as was our server, and everything we ate was an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Be prepared--I have a lot of pictures!"

We met some friends here for brunch when we were in AZ for vacation. It's like a club and breakfast spot all in one. The server was friendly and was attentive. My husband got the corned beef hash and loved it. You can tell they make it from scratch. I got the strawberry shortcake from pancake and It was huge. The thing I loved besides the yummy strawberry flavor with a hint of lemon was how much flavor was in it to be so big. I was only able to eat like a third of it. You can feed like 4 people. You can tell they really put love in their food. It's top quality and they are generous with the portions. If you want a good brunch spot, this is your place.

My mom and I had a late dinner here tonight. They serve food til 10pm. Service was excellent. I loved the deviled egg dip without bacon. Next time I would get it without the gorgonzola cheese. I tried the jerk chicken daily special. It was extremely spicy and I couldn't handle the heat. I exchanged the dish for the ahi tuna salad with an extra side of shrimp. The ahi and shrimp were delicious. Next time I would ask for the dressing on the side because there was too much on the salad. The fried okra was great this time, as was the side kale salad (except for what I think was burnt Brussels sprouts).

We needed a place to have lunch for my husband's birthday and decided to try Liberty Market. For a Sunday, it was super easy to book. I found an open reservation for 12:30 and got in to a table quickly. We were in a booth for 2 kids and 4 adults and just fit. My dad ordered a burger, my mum the Asian salad, my husband ordered the breakfast burrito, the kids did a Mac & cheese and a grilled cheese whilst I ordered the chicken pasta. My mum is especially picky but really enjoyed her salad. My dad thought the burger was good. The burrito was lacking flavor and didn't have much meat in it. My pasta was okay, I just wouldn't order it again. My kids absolutely loved their meals, one even quoting that it was the best grilled cheese she has ever had. We wanted to try the cinnamon roll but it had already sold out. We added one latte to our order and that latte was great. The bathrooms were clean and had a baby change station. Service was great- a manager even came by to share her bright smile and happiness with us. I would definitely come back and try more items on the menu.

First time visiting, passing through the area for the weekend. We joined the waitlist on OpenTable and it was a very fast process. The vibe in here is really cool. They have a live dj. The staff is very attentive and nice.We got the pineapple pancakes and the hash birria. Both were really really good. We didn't order any drinks or anything, so the total was close to $35. I found everything fairly priced honestly.I definitely want to return when we are in town again.

BEST MEAL OF MY LIFE!!! If I could give this place 10 STARS I would!!!! The service, ambiance, and food were EXCELLENT. The kindness and atmosphere was perfection. I felt like I was in a movie! Kyle was incredible not to mention the entire staff who made this experience perfect! The Argentinian shrimp, scallops, wagyu were some of our favorites! I HIGHLY recommend the chefs 8 course tasting menu!! We came here to celebrate my 30th and it was an experience I'll never forget. You better believe I will come back to celebrate more special occasions!! This place deserves all the credit it gets. Absolutely FABULOUS!!! A stunning fine dining experience every dish was simply perfect. Compliments to the chef!!

Enjoyed breakfast for lunch today. I had the traditional breakfast with over medium eggs and bacon that were perfect. The sweet potato hash was good and they also gave a generous portion. To top it off, they served it with gluten-free toast at my request. They have several gluten-free options here, which is nice. The other people in our party had lunch. One person had a bowl that they said was very tasty and my husband had a flatbread that he really enjoyed. Again, it was a generous portion so he brought half home.Very bright and open restaurant. There's also outside seating. You order your meal at the counter, they give you a number and then bring it to you.

We had lunch here today while enjoying the Makers Market. My daughter and I each had the Ahi Poke Bowl and hubby has the brisket sandwich and fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals! There is not a lot of tuna, it's mixed with shrimp and other goodies but the flavor was excellent. Husband says the sandwich was fantastic and I stole a few fries (yummy)We each had a drink (Paloma/wine/beer). Good service as well. $93 before tip

We've dined here before a couple times so I'm surprised that I haven't already done a review. Today I want to talk about their Lobster Roll Kit. I decided that for my birthday this year, I really wanted something special and since lobster is one of my favorite things (and probably one of the things I miss most now that I don't live in New England.). I did a little research and liked the price at Bluewater, so I gave them a quick call to see if I needed to pre-order. I was told it is a good idea to call ahead just so they can start getting it ready, and because there are a couple questions thet will ask - such as if you want the rolls toasted ahead of time or not. I ordered the "for 4" kit even though there are only 2 of us because it will not go to waste! But a kit for 2 would have been plenty for one meal. (Now we've got enough to have it again tomorrow and we're not mad about that). The kit included: 4 individual baggies with the dressed lobster meat (and they didn't scrimp), 4 rolls, a big tub of clam chowder, 4 bags of oyster crackers, a big tub of cole slaw, 4 grilled lemons and 4 pickle spears. Everything was absolutely delicious! The cole slaw is simple but crispy and fresh. The chowder (chowdah to those of us from Boston) was probably one of the tastiest I've ever had. The rolls were soft and I just spread some butter on and griddled them on a cast iron pan - came out perfect! And the lobster! Absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, good amount of mayo, and nice size pieces - perfect! Highly recommend!

"We stayed at the Valley Ho to attend the wedding of some great friends of ours. Because I am lazy and we didn't rent a car, I am always cool hanging out at the hotel bar and restaurant for the most par. Most times I don't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and food at ZuZu, so much that this was the only place The Doctor and I ate at while in town.As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, ZuZu is an extension of the Valley Ho's Mid-Century look. The indoor décor is lovely as well as the outdoor area...absolutely wonderful, with plenty of umbrellas to keep the sun off of us, even though it was not that warm. For the most part, every meal we had there was great, and the service was excellent. There were not many times where I got to fill my own flute with bubbles, which I am used to doing. I can speak with authority that breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all worthwhile. Some of the dishes for dinner are very eclectic, going from Mexican to Iceland to Asia.I am sure that there are other places to eat in Scottsdale, but as this was my first time here, this would be my go to place if we travel back here."
"I had an absolutely amazing lunch here with my team. The service was timely and professional - and executed with amazing expertise. We were sat quickly, the team that served us was sufficient, we had our food delivered promptly, everything was delicious - and we were able to be in and out in under an hour for the six of us. The place's esthetic was very clean and business casual. It's a great place to stop by for a business meeting, special lunch, or a stop after a fitness class. I had the ahi tuna poke lunch meal and it was incredible. Excited to go back!"
"We had the BHKC Burger, Bucatini Pasta, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Waguy Sliders, Margarita, Martinis, and more... Genie was the server and was blessing after a horrible pre-plan dinner experience around the corner... The backup plan became the primary plan and didn't disappoint!!! That's what I get for branching out my comfort zone!!! :-)"
"Virtu was on my list for so long that I had no idea what to expect when we finally went this past weekend. Unlike the rest of Old Town, parking was easy and we got a spot right in front of the restaurant. We were seated on the patio and I think this is the way to go here. I never went inside but every time a door opened, it seemed very loud. Plus, the patio is adorable and romantic. We did the prix fixe tasting menu and I definitely recommend it. The amuse was a cannellini bean soup that was an impressive start. My salmon crudo was fantastic and a bigger portion than I was expecting. The lemon sorbet palate cleaner was just perfect. My sea bass was perfectly prepared and expertly seasoned. Husband was equally pleased with his duck. We ordered the mesquite noodles outside of our tasting menu choices because we were curious and I'm glad we did - it was interesting and yummy. Desserts were also a standout.Service was pretty relaxed and we started to get worried about getting out in time to make an 8 pm show but we let our server know and they made sure to get us out of there on time.We will definitely return."
"It's been a few years since I've been here, because I had moved but recently came back to the area. Sunnyside was one of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, when I cam back to this location, the service we received was quite awful. There may have only been on server on a weekday morning, but initially there were only three tables occupied at the time we were making our order. The server misinterpreted our order and only brought us a single side item instead of the meal with the side we asked for. Without checking on us, the server then just gave us the bill. We noticed the bill only had one item, so we waited for him to come back and pointed out that we actually ordered a meal. The server was not apologetic and instead insinuated it was our fault for misleading him. When the meal finally came up, he did not bring us any extra plates to help us share, which we did specify we were going to do when we ordered both the first and second time we placed the order. Our server also never bothered to come back and offer us an extra plate while we were eating and clearly having trouble over one plate. We were so put off but the poor service that we did not want to trouble our server more by asking for additional plates. It seemed like every request we made was met with a literal sigh. The food and coffee were admittedly very good, so props to kitchen for that, but the service that day was appalling. We still tried to be friendly, but our server still could not give us the time of day."
"This place was awesome! Anyone in to board gaming or cards or anything in that non electrical, non digital department should run here. Staff were so friendly Ella was our home slice who chatted it up with us wile we waited for our drink. We were grateful for the conversation. This place was huge and beyond clean and tidy. The manager knew so much about every single game there it was wild. I got an iced mocha with oat milk and it was delicious and absolutely made with love. We plan on taking mini me back there for family game day. This place was an excellent find on our let's explore Az more tour that Sbl and I have been on for the past year."
"This place is a gem. The service is on another level compared to the average spot. The servers are well-trained and attentive. The food is outstanding. I've tried the beef dip here--excellent. The Detroit pizza? Surprisingly top-notch, especially for a place that doesn't specialize in pizza. The rooms are good looking, and the overall atmosphere is pure pleasure. Everything is beautiful and well-maintained. It's a relaxing yet refined environment that strikes the perfect balance--not too formal, but not a free-for-all either. They thread the needle perfectly. While not cheap, it's also not 'high-end' expensive. You definitely get your money's worth. It's a great place to enjoy a dinner out with friends. And if you're a fan of pretzels with cheese, their appetizer is a must-try."
"First time at the Collins at this location. Stopped by for happy hour but decided to have a quick pre-concert dinner. Bar was pretty noisy but dinning area was pleasant. Service was excellent. Shared a Bacon & Brussel Sprout appetizer. Grilled Chicken and Brie Sandwich with Fries was the dinner entree. Have never been disappointed at the Collins."
"My buddy and I wanted someplace healthy shortly after lunch on a Sunday. It was busy but not so busy that we had to wait for a table. The server was patient and attentive. He had some strong recommendations, which is always appreciated, as I rarely order by looking at the menu.I had the Ahi Tuna Melt and it was pretty good. I personally would have appreciated some jalapeños, or hot peppers. They had a relatively large selection of healthy-type foods. I say "healthy-type" because they looked healthy-ish but I haven't tried them, yet, so I don't know.I could definitely see going back!!"
"I looked up top restaurants in Phoenix area and Hush was highly recommended! The place is pretty discreet in a shopping center- you wouldn't suspect there is a bustling restaurant inside! We were a party of 6 and we all enjoyed our dishes. Standout for me was the french fries! Yep! They mash the potatoes up and then make them into fries, it is so pillowy and delicious inside because of that!! Still dreaming of them. The crab hush puppies were delish and crispy- a must share with a group. Also, that date cake is to die for. I am not huge into desserts but this was a winner across everyone at the dining table. Don't skimp on getting dessert!Overall, a great place to come if you are in the area and want a more upscale place to dine."
"Hubby and I did a "staycation" at a hotel in Chandler this past weekend for two nights. The second night we decided to check out The Parlay restaurant down the street a couple blocks away. I had seen it be built and fitted a few years back, since my office building is also nearby. A friend from church also said it was good. I went online to see the menu and it had a reservation option so I went ahead and did that. When we arrived it was quite loud because there was a singer with a guitar, so it was hard to talk to the seater. But having live music was nice, and at the very end of our visit the guy played "Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes, one of my all-time favorite songs from high/school college era (1980s). Mostly he had been going 90s grunge and 70s rock so this was quite a pleasant surprise! Definitely the highlight for me!But the food was amazing too! Hubby was feeling a bit lightheaded from not having had lunch so we ordered an appetizer, the portobello mushrooms with veggie and cheese filling. It was out of this world! I also ordered the French onion soup, which is their standard soup. It was way more than standard though, with a lovely swiss cheese "lid" baked on top and extremely savory broth filled with lots of onions and bread pieces. Yum-O!I really couldn't eat it all though because then our entrees arrived. I had the Southwest Mac and Cheese -- to die for! -- and hubby had a Gardenburger with fries. The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle with great flavor, which is very unusual to find. I couldn't come close to eating all my pasta dish so took about half of it home.I also had a blackberry margarita which was as good as it was beautiful. Hubby just had Diet Coke but they were very attentive about refilling that and our waters. The waitstaff was just awesome in general.I also used the facilities while there, and the bathrooms were beautiful! It was a layout I had never seen before, where the men's and women's rooms did not have sinks; they had a collective sink wall outside the restrooms that was beautiful too!I forgot to mention that the whole building is glass walls to the outside, which made it really fun to people watch and look at the views. There was a patio/courtyard in the middle and then the "bar" on the other side. They had sports on big-screen TVs but the sound was off so you could visit.Very nice! Definitely will go back! Not cheap, but super duper delicious!"
"Social tap has made some changes to their happy hour menu and I like it .... Honestly they are a pretty cool location with an upstairs bar and interesting vibes to see around old town if the weather is nice. I thought our waitress was great actually and would definitely head back their wings are actually very good! Beer prices not too bad for OT !"
"We came here on the recommendation of my son who lives here. We were not disappointed by the food. It was Christmas Eve and the place was jammed! I felt bad for our waitress Liz as she had to take all the bad attitudes from unhappy clients. The kitchen was backed up and it took about an hour to get our food. It did not make our dinning experience any less enjoyable. We ordered appetizers- calimari, Brussels sprouts (delicious and I don't like Brussel sprouts). And breschetta. All were so delicious I would order all of them again. Next was dinner. I had the short rib risotto delicious my daughter had the gnocchi pancetta without peas. Also delicious BUT the chicken piccata was next level delicious. Probably one of the best weve ever had. Ohhhh I forgot the drinks. We all had the PB& J old fashioned. OMG the best adrink I've had. We bought the the sweet red wine so we could try to make it at home. The restaurant had a very good vibe a little noisy but it was not unbearable. Que the desert. My son said we had to have the bannoffe pie, delicious, we had the recesses cookie with vanilla ice cream umm yummy, but the key lime pie stole the show in my mind. The key lime pie was NEXT level. Hands down In my opinion the best desert we had. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in this area."
"Went here for my mother 75th birthday dinner. Great atmosphere and layout of the restaurant was great. Indoor outdoor seating, service was unbelievable. Great local restaurant.Everybody at the restaurant is a wine specialist. The food was very fresh very well prepared they went above and beyond for my mother's birthday. Great music. It is in old town so parking is not the best. Food 5/5Food Quality 5/5Service 5/5Atmosphere 5/5Parking 3/5 ( nothing the restaurant can do about it) Location 5/5"
"7 years since the last review. I did not ever live here yet!Hillside Spot has consistently been the best place to eat for us over the last 7 years! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have not found one thing wrong, or lacking in any way with any of the meals we were served. My favorite is the 50/50. I like to get a sandwich or salad with whatever soup they are serving that month. Again have always been impressed with whatever the soup is and adding a salad or sandwich to the makes it just the right amount of food. I am diabetic and my hubby is pre-diabetic, so the most wonderful thing for us is that we can order great-tasting food and not worry about our blood sugars getting out of control. Yes, we try to stay away from fries, chips, etc but Hillside offers fruit or salad as great alternative sides to choose from. Although their fries are delicious, we will share them once in a while. Choices! That is what we love most about Hillside Spot.Service is always good. I like that they hover on the periphery and are not interrupting with questions, but are there when needed. Finally the beer list. The beer selection is very good. Hubby likes to have one once in a while and the selection is great. Even have Wren House!"
"The Cracked Egg has two dining areas. One has more of an old school diner feel; complete with a counter with seating in front of the window to the kitchen. The other dining area is more of a basic dining room. We were sat across from the counter. Much like a neighborhood diner, there are regulars who sit at the counter. Regulars were having full conversations with servers and the busboy. Phones were brought out to show pictures. There was a real sense of community. Even with their conversations, other tables were taken care of. Large portions. Come hungry or be prepared for leftovers. My son ordered the fajita skillet with chicken. The amount of vegetables and chicken was plentiful. Food was well seasoned. He was offered a choice of bread or tortillas. Being a fajitas skillet, he chose the tortilla. I ordered the signature French toast. The signature French toast is "Three thick slices topped with fresh strawberries, banana slices, pecans, strawberry reduction, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and whipped cream." Order was plentiful. French toast itself was nicely cooked. It was not mushy in the middle or dry. French toast had plenty of toppings. This dish eats more like a dessert. It is coyingly sweet. The Cracked Egg has an extensive menu. All kinds of breakfast foods. There is a strong southwestern and Mexican influence in many of their savory breakfast options. For those who do not like spicy foods, there are all the typical American diner options. Prefer your breakfast sweet? There are multiple different flavors of pancakes, waffles, and French toasts to choose from. Having food ordered and delivered via food delivery apps is popular here. There was a steady stream of people coming in and showing their phones to pick up orders. The kitchen did a fabulous job of having those orders ready before the drivers got there, as well as getting the food out quickly for those dining in. The kitchen had impeccable timing. The Cracked Egg is a little far for us to dine at regularly. We chose it because it showed up on the map as being on the way to a hiking spot we wanted to check out. That being said, I do look forward to eating here again. There are many savory options I wish to try. This is a spot I look forward to returning to, and sharing this restaurant with the rest of the family."
"I found Cafe Mix when lunch plans a friend suggested sounded bad (outdoor only when it was 119°), so said friend told me to suggest some other place in the area. I scoured the general area looking for restaurants. Cafe Mix fit both of our dietary requirements (hers vegetarian, mine omnivorous), and we both like Mediterranean food. So we met here. I arrived early, and I was hungry, so I ordered the dolmades. They were really good. Service was super fast. When my friend arrived, I got a gyro without onions. Everything was fantastic. Their hummus is good. I really liked the gyro meat.I can't say I'll be back because it was so far from where I live, and I have a Greek restaurant by me, but I do recommend coming here if you are in this area."
"Great hidden gem! Food was so delicious and fresh The Farm offers a lotDefinitely a great place to visit"
"We are staying at the Royal Palms hotel over the holiday as our grandkids are here visiting and we have had the opportunity to have breakfast here during our stay. We are our daughters guest of honor as a globalist, so breakfast is included each day.I have had both the avocado toast and the spinach and sun-dried tomato tomato quiche and they are beyond fantastic. No boring breakfast foods here. My husband has had two egg breakfast and this morning he had the eggs Benedict And both were fantastic. Their potatoes are absolutely perfect crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. The service is impeccable, your coffee cup will never be empty and it is a peaceful ambience early in the morning. They do bring you a Nutella filled beignet, little mini ones to have with your coffee. How special is that?Highly recommend, especially if you have benefits, as it is quite pricey, if you do not!"
"We arrived a little early for our reservation so they took us to have a drink at the back bar. The back bar is where cocktail magic truly happens and you can only have back bar drinks at the back bar (FYI). And, the restaurant cocktail menu is different. We did most of our meal as tapas and it was delicious. The mushrooms and elote pasta were fabulous. The cauliflower was a little sweet for my taste. The server promised us that the pretzel would be one of the best we've ever had and they were right. It was fabulous. The real standout was the chocolate cake with frozen sunflower seed mousse. What?! That was crazy good and the whole table was eating mine! (Definitely large enough to share.)Service was great initially but definitely slowed to a crawl towards the end. Our plates were left on the table for a long time before we were offered dessert. Go for the interesting menu and know the service might be slow."
"We came to Flint to celebrate our anniversary. I'd marked this on my Open Table reservation and I was super impressed: the restaurant reached out to me ahead of time to ask how many years we'd be celebrating. They made a big deal out of congratulating us repeatedly, offering us free champagne, dessert etc. They even had a sweet card on the table for us. It was all very considerate of them and very much appreciated. My husband and I were thinking the same thing tonight: salad and a kebab. He ordered the Flint Chopped Salad and Honey-Harissa Chicken Kebab. I had the Little Gem Caesar Salad and Filet Mignon Kebab. My salad was underwhelming. It had a lot of bitter lettuce, the breadcrumbs were tiny so you couldn't really taste them, and the cheese was almost nonexistent. I felt pretty let down by that, but the Filet Kebab made up for it. The meat was three large, delectable chunks of prime beef. They were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Our server had suggested putting the very pungent sauce on the side which was a great call. That way you could control how much you want to dip. Speaking of our server, JP was so wonderful. He approached us with a huge, welcoming smile and could not have been any sweeter all night. He gave us great suggestions and of course, offered the freebies for our anniversary. We enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert and then JP wished us many more happy years together. We appreciated the excellent service here."
"We were sat down immediately upon entering with a reservation. The DJ was on point serving up the sounds. The mimosa flight was good and it was nice to have the option to substitute flavors if you prefer. Food was good and the portions were just right. The only downside was the food was not temperature hit when it was served."
"They made a bunch of menu changes last time we went and the quality of the burger went way down hill as of a couple months ago. I used to crave this spot and now it's an easy pass for me and quality no longer matches the price point ."
