"I'm quarantined due to cancer but my hubby drove 30 miles to get my favorite shrimp scampi. Absolutely as delicious as always. We've never been disappointed here."
"This place is an awesome little hole in the wall on the side of Starkville only the locals really know about. It's located in an older building, but you can tell they've done some work to the inside They do not have alcohol, but they all you to bring in your own beer. If you order a coke, they give you a bottle of it, so it's another charge if you want another. The tea and water seem to have bottomless refills, so that is nice I got the fried catfish plate with fries and potato salad. The catfish was fried perfectly and had an awesome crust on the outside. The inside was juicy and flavorful. The fries were fried perfectly, and seasoned well. The potato salad had a good consistency and a good flavor This place can be a little slow, but it also has really good food. I will probably be back here next time I want some fried catfish."

"This is southern cooking at its best when it comes to "out of the pond food." We had shrimp, catfish and frog legs. All were the best we've had in a long long while. But the real surprise treat was the regular side fixins! The hush puppies and white beans they bring out were soooooo good. Can't wait to come back."
"Friendly and fast service always Everyone is wearing a maskGreat foodI will continue to come here"
"Impressed with this little place, the takeout was fresh/hot/full of flavor! We will be back for more! Such a sweet gal taking orders."
"Nice locally owned and owned steakhouse with great service. I really enjoyed the ribeye with accompaniment of potatoes and broccoli. There's also a butcher where you can buy steaks to cook at home."
"Absolutely fabulous!!!!If you like sushi you will love this. It's like sushi unconstructed. You can build your own bowl like subway or they have a menu of different bowls. I can't wait to get back. The owner is great and informative. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. They have lots of cooked fish for the scaredy-cat that's like decaf coffee. Go for the raw it's wonderful. I wish I lived closer to the restaurant but it is worth the drive. They also have sandwiches and Spam sushi. Keep it up sir you've got a winner so amazing !"
"Loved that they had so many healthy options to eat. This is usually hard to find on a business trip. Came here for lunch in a Monday. Got the big eye tuna poke bowl but substituted salad greens for the sushi rice. It was the perfect light lunch. Came here for breakfast on a Tuesaday and the place was more bustling. I got the liver lover juice and the parfait. The juice was bottled. But still very good. The parfait was delicious and a good portion. The granola sat atop the yogurt and lots of fruit. The highlight was the brûlée pineapple. All pineapple should be this way! The Lounge- I got the "cheaper than a shrink" cocktail and it was very good. The lounge is lively at night."
"A local treasure off the beaten path but also not too far from the highway. Stopped here for supper on our way through. My husband got the BBQ plate with a side of mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. The pork came smoked but without sauce and you could add the sauce of your choice. The flavor of the pork was delicious and everything you would expect from Tennessee BBQ. The mac n cheese was less cheesy and tasted more like buttered noodles than traditional mac n cheese but it was still good. I ordered the catfish dinner and it came with white beans, coleslaw, fries, and hush puppies. The flavor of the breading on the catfish, and the hush puppies were SO delicious! The coleslaw had a sweet taste to it, something ive never tasted on coleslaw before but I wasn't disappointed at all. The owners were working and were both so nice and inviting. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for local food while passing through."
"We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We walked in, were seated right away to a booth, which we always prefer. The restaurant was very clean and organized, which seems to be rare in Nashville (smh). The menu was straightforward and the food came out very quickly. The combination fajitas were spectacular, lots of flavor. The combo with the chicken quesadilla and cheese enchilada were very good as well. The waiter was on top of the drink refills. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!"
"Wonderful food, ambience and service... must try food is egg biryani, chicken 65 and gobi Manchuria..."
"Great place, excellent service and food. Loved the Tacos, great salsa. I will certainly stop again !"

The overall atmosphere is dated but clean. It was Friday night and busy but the wait was reasonable. Our server was on point.. the wine list... SUCKED!! Unless you get a bottle then you have a little more options. The food was ok... like Denny's... just ok... So the name is Fresh Market... like something from south cal or something... nope..Will I come back... maybe...

Overall the place was nice. I had the shrimp pot. It included boiled shrimp, corn on the cob, potatoes, sausage and a boiled egg. It was all very flavorful (besides the egg) and it was served piping hot. The other person in my party wasn't as lucky with their sophomore 30 order. The sophomore 30 is a hamburger, 4 wings and loaded fries. He enjoyed the wings. I must admit the presentation was really nice. He said the burger wasn't 100 ground meat, more like a frozen patty. Although he wasn't pleased he said he would go back to get the wings. I would definitely go back and order again. The atmosphere was really nice also. Life size connect 4 and other games are there to keep u entertained. The satellite radio station they were playing kept me snapping my fingers and tapping my feet.

The food here is delicious every time we eat here. Always great service with a very friendly staff. I love the hush puppies and pepper relish for the white beans!! Gosh is great of course, but the steak and chicken tenders are great as well.

i give it a 4 based on a filling lunch that is different than fast food. Not fast food and a bit 'quirky'. But a lot of food and a big variety. Maybe a bit too much variety because the menu is overwhelming. I see a bit of call ins for wings and fish. I hit the gyro that has a ton of meat in it and is good. Never left hungry. $9 gets a huge gyro , fries and a coke. Catfish is also pretty good.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at Folks Folly, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. Our group of around 10 ladies gathered at this charming establishment, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an inviting and old-school steakhouse ambiance. Our server for the evening, Ashley, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. Ashley was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. Her warm and professional demeanor added an extra touch of hospitality to our celebration. The menu at Folks Folly offers a wonderful selection of dishes, reminiscent of a typical old-school steakhouse. We decided to start our meal with some appetizers / starters to whet our appetites. I chose the she-crab soup, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, with the perfect amount of creaminess. It was undoubtedly one of the best she-crab soups I have ever had the pleasure of tasting in Memphis. As for my main course, I opted for the lamb chops accompanied by a side of spinach. The lamb chops were seasoned to perfection, and the cooking was exactly how I prefer them. Each bite was tender and full of flavor, making it a true delight for my taste buds. I was thoroughly satisfied with my choice, and it seems that everyone else at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. The overall atmosphere at Folks Folly was nothing short of amazing. The decor exuded a classic charm, transporting us to a bygone era. The dim lighting and cozy seating created a warm and intimate ambiance, perfect for celebrating special occasions. In conclusion, I highly recommend Folks Folly for any special occasion or simply for a memorable dining experience. The menu offers a variety of delectable options, and the she-crab soup and lamb chops were particularly outstanding. The exceptional service provided by our server, Ashley, further added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. Folks Folly is a delightful gem that should not be missed, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Decided to try 'Ono Poke out last week and was not disappointed. The inside of the restaurant was quaint. I got our food to-go, but staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I both tried the Spicy 901 bowls, and they did not disappoint. We both enjoyed them. Spicy and delicious! Definitely will be back to try out different menu items.

Visited this place for the Grinch Tea, which obviously had better be good because that's a bold name to call it if they weren't going to deliver on the theming. No need to fear because the menu had cute names that referred to the cartoon and before long, the Grinch came out to take pictures at each table and to make time with the guests.Foodwise, it's an okay tea in a luxurious, lavish, quietly classy location. I say that because the tea food was nothing special. My faves were the Who Smoked Salmon Sandwich, the Cindy Lou Who Pecan Pie, and the I hate X-Mas Apple financier. The scones, which usually are the highlight for me at a tea if they scones are fresh and they're served with real devonshire or clotted cream, were not great and had a heavy baking soda flavor. And the service? The Grinch visited us more than the waitress. I wish I could give her the excuse that it was a busy day, but all we wanted was more hot tea for our tea pots and she was nowhere to be found after she gave us our tea pots. our food was served by someone else and we never saw her again. I'm not kidding when I say that the Grinch visited us four times and the waitress only once. What?!?Still we enjoyed our tea because in that lobby, you have beautiful furniture and it's easy to get into the Christmas spirit. Just don't expect extra hot water for your tea.

"Wide variety of very yummy goodies.Friendly servers use roving carts to deliver everything to your table.Big place with PLENTY of space so you don't feel cramped. Great parking."
"I'm coming back from a trip up north and I just had a taste for hot wings. I googled this place and I am not sorry I did. The staff is so friendly and checked on my husband and I several times, the wings were fantastic and we each had the whole wings. I had Buffalo and my lips are still burning and my husband has a sweet habanero and he said they were wonderful. The seasoned Fries are a must! I will be a repeat customer!"
"My sister lives in town, I came to visit. Wanted something good for dinner, keep in mind it is a small town and this is GreenVilles main popular spot. I gave 4 stars for the taste of the food, I got the seafood bag. Me and my kid shared one big bag, double shrimp and sasuage . My sister ordered over the phone, so I heard little of conversation ordering food. The bags were a nice size, lots of sauce. Shrimp wasn't as big, but still good. Maybe I'll try somethiung different when I'm in town again."
"This is the best meal I've had in Mayfield and I've been visiting family here since the 70s. The hibachi steak and shrimp was a excellent. I ordered rare and it was nice rare with a good searing and the shrimp was grilled to perfection. You could taste the freshness of the vegetables and the rice was not too salty but with enough flavor that I didn't need to add any soy sauce or salt. I would estimate at this restaurant as a regular if I lived here and I wish there was a place with this quality near my house in Los Angeles."
"Went on a Monday at 7pm with a party of four people. The service was excellent as well as the food. Everything was cooked perfectly to order and arrived promptly and in order. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful (my receipt notes Makenna as the cashier, so I assume that was our waitress). The atmosphere/feel of the restaurant was pleasant and relaxing. I also noticed the tables were being thoroughly cleaned after a table was cleared. This was our first visit and we will return."
"I absolutely love this place! I love comfort food. I get tired of having fast food or Mexican food. Their poppyseed casserole is amazing! You have to go when they start serving lunch, don't go at 1 because they will be sold out of food. It's that good."
"Expensive but great food! The steak is also good. That bowl of salad is fantastic. I love most of their pasta dishes. They have a bar to eat at our enjoy a beverage or two!"
"Fabulous place and works well under adversity. They had an influx of people and were short staffed but did a great job! The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful!!!"
"The food here is so so, just like any other Applebee's. But the shining star at this place Hass to be the server Melissa S, she always goes above and beyond. Don't get me wrong the food isn't bad and the service is decent, but Melissa S is what brings us back to this place. I don't know what they are paying here but it is definitely not enough. if you come here definitely request her as your server."
"I'm not sure I'm doing myself a favor by telling you how good the food is here! LOL We arrived about 4:30pm on Friday and already found a church group from Muscle Shoals (party of 12) and another group of 7 ahead of us by the time we got there (they had opened up 30 minutes earlier). When you pull up to Reeder Road you see a sign for the restaurant. Google maps told us the wrong place to stop. We had to go further down the road past a bunch of cute place houses for children and small sheds. At the end of the road it opened up into the parking area for the restaurant. It was packed with cars and a bus! There were a group of people waiting outside to be seated. You must go up and inside to the register up front to give the hostess your name and the number of people in your party when you get there. THEN you can sit and chat with the locals. I lived in Huntsville for many years so I'm considered local even though it's been about a decade since I've been home from out west. We sat and waited for about 45 minutes before we were called with another party that also happened to be there celebrating a birthday. We got in and went to the buffet. On Friday nights they have a seafood buffet. All I can say is... It was AMAZING! I ate until I was about to pop! The food was SO good! Even the "worst" were average while the best items were some of the best food I've eaten anywhere (which is saying a lot as I've been all over the US)! Some highlights were the chicken wings (I don't know what seasoning they used but they were AMAZING), ham (delicious and juicy), lima beans (I don't even like then but those were good!), blackeye peas, green beans, fried okra, cream corn (homemade), mashed potatoes (homemade), fried fish, fried clams, hush puppies (no onion in them but they were still amazing), seafood stuffed mushrooms (so good it took us a bit to even get some to try!), shrimp cooked in garlic butter sauce, tarter sauce (homemade), vanilla ice cream (homemade in bucket churn with ice and salt), coconut cake (homemade like Nana's), peanut butter delight (think dessert pudding that tastes like the inside of a buckeye that's been thinned out a bit to pudding consistency), brownie (homemade), and fresh tea. Even the average tasting food: mac and cheese, chicken tenders, grits (cheese and ham flavor), and their biscuits and cornbread were still good. For a TINY restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, run by a group of lovely Mennonites you couldn't ask for a better meal. With the price being about $14 per adult I know we will be back before we leave the area!"
"This is my all time favorite take out Chinese restaurant! The sesame chicken and lo mein is my favorite paired with the crab rangoons! They are fast, fresh food, and so friendly"
"Service was great. Food was DELICIOUS! Great music playing while we ate. Will be back again."
"We were disappointed. On the positive-cute place, great TV's, menu wasn't complicated. As a few others said-food was BLAND but ours was also COLD. My soup was cold! The hubs cheese enchilada was so cold the cheese wasn't melted. I can't understand or accept bland rice & beans at a mexican place. We told our server how we felt about our food-he did offer to remake the cheese enchilada, but we were ready to go. one of us ordered a Tamarind Margarita-it was good. The reg margarita was ok as well. The chips & salsa were good. So if we return it will only be for a drink & snacks."
"I have been to Flying Fish in Bentonville, AR and had a great time but the experience in Memphis seemed more fun and memorable. Maybe it's because I was dining with someone who loves food adventures just as much as I do.I love they have the flying fish mounted on the walls that helps create a very casual and carefree ambience. I would not come here for an intimate date but for fun, casual dining experience with family or friends, a group, or with someone that loves Cajun comfort food. There's a cost of flow of people aka line worthy restaurant. We luckily arrived before the dinner rush, which meant we had a smaller line to wait. After we ordered food and the cashier gave us a buzzer from when the food is ready, but the wait was short. The employees were very helpful and generous in keeping customers happy with the condiments for everyone's meal and willingness to help a customer choose what to get off their menu.I had ordered and shared the following items and honestly, we could have purchased more but we were too happy with what we had ordered. Next time, we'll order more and perhaps try other options.- Cajun Platter( served with rice, fried gator, crawfish jambalaya, and 2 pairs of frog legs),Before tonight, my wife swore that she did not like frog legs due to her belief. it was too much work for the amount of meat on the bones. Now, she believes that frog legs are pretty yummy with the legs here being tender and fall off the bone delish. The fried gator was so tender and delicious, and we savored every bite. We did add hot sauce to our crawfish jambalaya because it enhanced the deliciousness and we try not to eat it too fast to avoid the disappointment of it being gone.- Additional items/ sides( coleslaw, hush puppies, and pickled green tomatoesWe enjoyed each of our sides, but coleslaw was a little bland in our opinion. We needed to add salt and pepper to give it a little umph."
"Dropped by on a rainy Sunday cause Yelp ratings of all others in the area were abysmal. Did not regret it. My husband loves horchata so he was super happy to see that on the menu. The salsa was great, just the right amount of chunkiness and cilantro for me. I ordered a fajita salad and was so disappointed when it came with just chicken. Thankfully my husband ordered the Fajitas so I stole his veggies and added my side of black beans. His fajitas were huge, hot and delicious. When I got the bill it all made sense, the server rang in a taco salad instead. We left full and happy aside from the ordering mixup."
"Without a doubt the best catfish on the planet. You won't find anything like it anywhere."
"For such an unassuming looking place , the food is top notch. Clearly the cooks take great care with each dish. I had the shrimp skewer , asparagus and zucchini . All super tasty. The skewers were full of shrimp. Redfish was perfectly done as well. Would go back !"
"Excellent service. Delmonico steak was moist and tender. Salad bar was clean and well stocked. Had a great time"
"What an amazing dining gem! We were celebrating birthdays and they provided an extra special experience. The service and food were terrific."
"We decided on Moon River Marina for our one dinner out while staying on Lake Barkley. Group of 7. We had a few apps. Wings, pickles, cheese sticks, and mushrooms. For dinner we had a variety. Salad, chicken sandwich chicken strips, and 3 of us had catfish. Everything was very tasty. We sat outside overlooking marina and lake. Very nice. Service was very good. Highly recommend if looking for a nice casual lakefront restaurant."
"Always a solid choice. They have very good steak, baked potatoes, and drinks. But the carrot cake... omg the carrot cake. I've been a professional carrot cake connoisseur for over 25 years now and have it for my birthday EVERY year. Theirs is hands down my absolute favorite. Their slice size is equivalent to about 3-5 slices and it's just so incredibly rich and delicious. My only wish is for it to have raisins but honestly with the glaze on the cake, I'm willing to forgive them. The service is always lovely and this is always a top contender for date night"
"This is the new spot for seafood lovers! If your into seafood bags that comes with all of the works, good drinks, and a chill vibe this is the place to be! Each time I go the service is always great no matter how busy they are. I've gone during the week on a slow day and on Friday night when it's packed to capacity. The service is consistent. The servers are friendly and very attentive. The food is great! Each time I have visited, I got the same thing...the crab bag with shrimp, sausages, eggs, potatoes, and corn. The sauce I get is the Great Hunter special sauce spicy! It's always so good and the price point is great. They give you a lot of food. I'm always able to take some home. The drinks are just as good. The bartender takes pride in making drinks. Just an FYI, they do play music and have a DV on Fridays so if noise level is an issue for you don't go on those days."
