"This place is an awesome little hole in the wall on the side of Starkville only the locals really know about. It's located in an older building, but you can tell they've done some work to the inside They do not have alcohol, but they all you to bring in your own beer. If you order a coke, they give you a bottle of it, so it's another charge if you want another. The tea and water seem to have bottomless refills, so that is nice I got the fried catfish plate with fries and potato salad. The catfish was fried perfectly and had an awesome crust on the outside. The inside was juicy and flavorful. The fries were fried perfectly, and seasoned well. The potato salad had a good consistency and a good flavor This place can be a little slow, but it also has really good food. I will probably be back here next time I want some fried catfish."

"Loved that they had so many healthy options to eat. This is usually hard to find on a business trip. Came here for lunch in a Monday. Got the big eye tuna poke bowl but substituted salad greens for the sushi rice. It was the perfect light lunch. Came here for breakfast on a Tuesaday and the place was more bustling. I got the liver lover juice and the parfait.The juice was bottled. But still very good. The parfait was delicious and a good portion. The granola sat atop the yogurt and lots of fruit. The highlight was the brûlée pineapple. All pineapple should be this way! The Lounge- I got the "cheaper than a shrink" cocktail and it was very good. The lounge is lively at night."

"A local treasure off the beaten path but also not too far from the highway. Stopped here for supper on our way through. My husband got the BBQ plate with a side of mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. The pork came smoked but without sauce and you could add the sauce of your choice. The flavor of the pork was delicious and everything you would expect from Tennessee BBQ. The mac n cheese was less cheesy and tasted more like buttered noodles than traditional mac n cheese but it was still good. I ordered the catfish dinner and it came with white beans, coleslaw, fries, and hush puppies. The flavor of the breading on the catfish, and the hush puppies were SO delicious! The coleslaw had a sweet taste to it, something ive never tasted on coleslaw before but I wasn't disappointed at all. The owners were working and were both so nice and inviting. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for local food while passing through."

"We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We walked in, were seated right away to a booth, which we always prefer. The restaurant was very clean and organized, which seems to be rare in Nashville (smh). The menu was straightforward and the food came out very quickly. The combination fajitas were spectacular, lots of flavor. The combo with the chicken quesadilla and cheese enchilada were very good as well. The waiter was on top of the drink refills. "My sister lives in town, I came to visit. Wanted something good for dinner, keep in mind it is a small town and this is GreenVilles main popular spot. I gave 4 stars for the taste of the food, I got the seafood bag. Me and my kid shared one big bag, double shrimp and sasuage . My sister ordered over the phone, so I heard little of conversation ordering food. The bags were a nice size, lots of sauce. Shrimp wasn't as big, but still good. Maybe I'll try somethiung different when I'm in town again."

"This is the best meal I've had in Mayfield and I've been visiting family here since the 70s. The hibachi steak and shrimp was a excellent. I ordered rare and it was nice rare with a good searing and the shrimp was grilled to perfection. You could taste the freshness of the vegetables and the rice was not too salty but with enough flavor that I didn't need to add any soy sauce or salt. I would estimate at this restaurant as a regular if I lived here and I wish there was a place with this quality near my house in Los Angeles."

"I'm not sure I'm doing myself a favor by telling you how good the food is here! LOL We arrived about 4:30pm on Friday and already found a church group from Muscle Shoals (party of 12) and another group of 7 ahead of us by the time we got there (they had opened up 30 minutes earlier). When you pull up to Reeder Road you see a sign for the restaurant. Google maps told us the wrong place to stop. We had to go further down the road past a bunch of cute place houses for children and small sheds. At the end of the road it opened up into the parking area for the restaurant. It was packed with cars and a bus! There were a group of people waiting outside to be seated. You must go up and inside to the register up front to give the hostess your name and the number of people in your party when you get there. THEN you can sit and chat with the locals. I lived in Huntsville for many years so I'm considered local even though it's been about a decade since I've been home from out west. We sat and waited for about 45 minutes before we were called with another party that also happened to be there celebrating a birthday. We got in and went to the buffet. On Friday nights they have a seafood buffet. All I can say is... It was AMAZING! I ate until I was about to pop! The food was SO good! Even the "worst" were average while the best items were some of the best food I've eaten anywhere (which is saying a lot as I've been all over the US)! Some highlights were the chicken wings (I don't know what seasoning they used but they were AMAZING), ham (delicious and juicy), lima beans (I don't even like then but those were good!), blackeye peas, green beans, fried okra, cream corn (homemade), mashed potatoes (homemade), fried fish, fried clams, hush puppies (no onion in them but they were still amazing), seafood stuffed mushrooms (so good it took us a bit to even get some to try!), shrimp cooked in garlic butter sauce, tarter sauce (homemade), vanilla ice cream (homemade in bucket churn with ice and salt), coconut cake (homemade like Nana's), peanut butter delight (think dessert pudding that tastes like the inside of a buckeye that's been thinned out a bit to pudding consistency), brownie (homemade), and fresh tea. Even the average tasting food: mac and cheese, chicken tenders, grits (cheese and ham flavor), and their biscuits and cornbread were still good. For a TINY restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, run by a group of lovely Mennonites you couldn't ask for a better meal. With the price being about $14 per adult I know we will be back before we leave the area!"

The employees were very helpful and generous in keeping customers happy with the condiments for everyone's meal and willingness to help a customer choose what to get off their menu.I had ordered and shared the following items and honestly, we could have purchased more but we were too happy with what we had ordered. Next time, we'll order more and perhaps try other options.- Cajun Platter( served with rice, fried gator, crawfish jambalaya, and 2 pairs of frog legs),Before tonight, my wife swore that she did not like frog legs due to her belief. it was too much work for the amount of meat on the bones. Now, she believes that frog legs are pretty yummy with the legs here being tender and fall off the bone delish. The fried gator was so tender and delicious, and we savored every bite. We did add hot sauce to our crawfish jambalaya because it enhanced the deliciousness and we try not to eat it too fast to avoid the disappointment of it being gone.- Additional items/ sides( coleslaw, hush puppies, and pickled green tomatoesWe enjoyed each of our sides, but coleslaw was a little bland in our opinion. Each time I go the service is always great no matter how busy they are. I've gone during the week on a slow day and on Friday night when it's packed to capacity. The service is consistent. The servers are friendly and very attentive. The food is great! Each time I have visited, I got the same thing...the crab bag with shrimp, sausages, eggs, potatoes, and corn. The sauce I get is the Great Hunter special sauce spicy! It's always so good and the price point is great. They give you a lot of food. I'm always able to take some home. The drinks are just as good. The bartender takes pride in making drinks. Just an FYI, they do play music and have a DV on Fridays so if noise level is an issue for you don't go on those days."
