Kings Cornbeef & Deli

You need to stop here for lunch!!!Just moved to the area from Texas and stopped here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Due to supply issues (outside of their control) they weee out of Corned Beef so we tried their Philly Cheesesteak. I'm gluten free so I ordered mine on a bed of lettuce but my hubby got his on the hoagie bun. It was super delicious! The steak was tender and the onions and peppers were grilled to perfection! The restaurant is very clean (including the bathroom)! Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is located in an industrial park (which surprised me) but don't let that deter you!! King's definitely rivals our "go to" place for Philly Cheesesteak back home in Dallas TX. I can't wait to come back for a visit to try their infamous corn beef sandwich!!

I'm very upset I never knew about them earlier, I'm typing this stuffed and very happy. This spot is so so so so good, I got The bishop sandwich it is half corned beef and half pastrami, added cheese, mayo and mustard, it comes with a pickle and the corned beef eggrolls. Y'all...just trust me and go here, one bite had me in love and those corned beef has me wanting to order again right now!!! They have plenty of food to choose from including breakfast which I now MUST try. The service was great, they were beyond friendly, I ordered online and the food was ready as soon as I walked in, the place was clean and it smells HEAVENLY in there. They have places to sit and eat, parking is free. This is my new go to spot.

This review is based on a recent visit on a weekday afternoon. I was excited to try Kings as A-Town sorely lacks good corned beef and pastrami sandwich delis. +. Ambiance is an industrial office complex cafe. This is an unusually located resto in a low rise multi-use office / industrial complex. Self service clean DR and a couple of patio tables. ++. Food is lunch and breakfast? geared towards nearby workers. The popular items definitely are their sandwiches. I got their king size (8oz) The Bishop, corned beef and pastrami on toasted rye, cheddar with spicy mustard to go. My sammie was nicely wrapped with parchment paper for easy mobile consumption. The meat was about an inch thick lean medium rare cuts. Toasted rye held up well and the pickle slice had a good crunch. They definitely put spicy mustard but with that much meat, I needed more mustard. The king size sammie was delicious and one can easily split it with another person. Compared to Jewish sammies up north and Boca, this is acceptable but not crave worthy. Disappointedly, I'll still have to go to JoeyD's when I need THE fix. Compared to local competitions, Kings is definitely good and will make future visits+. Price is on the higher side ($10-$18) but reasonable for the quality. +. Service is prompt and friendly. +. Parking is free and shared private lot. Apple Maps took me too the end of the building and had to do a U turn. Kings is located in the middle of the building and they have a couple of flags outside. Kings is a solid option for Togo lunch and I'll visit them again and try other sammies.MY RATINGS- - - Inhumane- - Disgusted- Don't bother=. Missed the Mark+. Service is great! Always greeted with a smile. However, Drove from Fayetteville only to be told they're out of cornbeef. No mention on the website. Was not happy. Got a cheesesteak instead which was just okay. Not into the cheesesteak toppings.

Fire! ... Corned Beef Reuben and Pastrami Reuben was the bomb! Just what the doctor called for. Service was on point, we were greeted at the door and the cashier was sweet! My tummy is beyond happy! Thanks Kings!!

Holy what?!? This is the BEST Cornbeef and Pastrami in ATL! (And even better than the one I had last time I was in NYC) I don't know what magic they put in their food but it is the kind that makes you keep saying mmm mmm mmm How they haven't been swept up to be a nationwide franchise I have no idea! But you better believe every time I drive by I will be stopping as there is always room for flavors like these!!!

Okay I've been wanting to try this place but it's always been too far from anywhere I'm going near in Atlanta. Well today was the day and I still had to drive 14 miles out of my way. So the place was completely empty at 1:30 in the afternoon. It was in an industrial park. So I figured my order would be quick and it was. I was dying for a Reuben sandwich with pastrami. Well folks might think that Jewish delis corner the market on corned beef sandwiches but they don't. I tried hard to find one and when I did it was a bust here in the suburbs of Atlanta. Hey don't give me flack I'm Jewish and I'm very particular about my corned beef sandwiches. I have to say this place was awesome. I loved my sandwich I got the king size Ruben with Swiss cheese extra sauerkraut extra thousand island dressing on the side. My mom got the Bishop which is corned beef and pastrami on the same sandwich. It was so huge I had to have the rest for dinner. It was so juicy and yummy. I have to say though the highlight was their homemade corned beef egg rolls with mustard inside. The dipping sauce is a honey mustard. It's really good without it. I was in heaven driving home eating this corned beef egg roll. I had a wonderful conversation with the owners. The two gentlemen originate from Ohio. It was outstanding to see them make my sandwich. I don't know if I would go out of the way again unless I was jonesing for another corned beef sandwich. I have to say this really filled me up and I am so satiated.

OMG!! REAL Corned Beef and Pastrami in the ATL! I must admit, as someone that has had, what I believe to be some of the best pastrami and corned beef in this country I was pleasantly surprised to finally experience New York level pastrami and corned beef right up the street from me. Kings Cornbeef and Deli is a true Atlanta hidden treasure that really shouldn't be "hidden" or a secret. For my first visit I decided to try both the Reuben and a Pastrami Sandwich. My husband and I went with the 10 oz Corned Beef Reuben on Grilled Rye Bread, with Russian Dressing and White American Cheese and Sauerkraut and a 5 oz Pastrami on Grilled Rye Bread with Mustard and Swiss Cheese. He chose the Reuben as his favorite while I chose the Pastrami as my favorite. We rounded out our meal with an order of french fries and the the chipped beef potato salad which my husband really enjoyed. I appreciated being able to see my sandwich being put together right in front of me. There's something about seeing that pile of meat covered in gooey, melted cheese being placed on freshly grilled/toasted bread that makes me happy. They also have burgers and other food options and serve breakfast beginning at 7 AM on Monday-Saturday and 8 AM on Sunday. Kings also has plenty of seating available so if you have time to sit and enjoy your sandwich know that you can. They also have To Go capabilities as well for those that would like to grab your food and go. Clean, spacious and conveniently located, they are situated in a plaza basically right off of I-285 at the corner of Fulton Industrial Blvd and Donald Lee Hollowell going towards Veterans Memorial Highway. The staff is pleasant, the place is clean and the food is great! If you have a chance and you love the taste of a delicious corn beef or pastrami sandwich and you miss Lou's Deli in Detroit or Katz's in New York, Kings is definitely worth a visit. I'm headed back today! ;)

The owner wrote me a long response to my post (Why private???). Saying I did not come to his location and experience what I did. You are correct the date was incorrect it should have been 9/2/23 but my experience is correct. My wife & I did come into your restaurant (drove 20+ miles just to eat here for the 1st time based on the reviews). The young lady at the register was very pleasant (added a star). We sat at the corner table near the window (far right after entering the store). That Saturday afternoon there was only one other customer there eating. There were two big guys behind the counter wearing black T-shirts (making the sandwiches) and the young lady at the register. After comparing my sandwich with my wife's sandwich I did not see any difference (just the cheese, both did not have much meat), that is when I walked back up to the counter and asked the guy who made my sandwich (The Bishop) did he put corned beef on my sandwich and all he said was "Yes". He did not ask if there was an issue or problem. I should have asked for the manager or owner...that's on me!
