Taste of Nations Restaurant

This place is spectacular. It's as authentic as you can get around here. The owner is very sociable and makes sure you are taken care of. If you haven't given this place a try yet, you are missing out. I have never left this place unhappy.

Food is delicious and authentic! The owners are very nice and happy. The outside of the building could be freshened up. It is definitely a hidden gem!

It was ok. There was barely any meat in my fried rice. Maybe about 3 shrimps and it lacked veggies in it also.

Wow!! Visiting from out of town, saw this place had great reviews and wanted something to eat in my hotel room. The outside of the restaurant and parking lot look run down and dirty, but the inside was clean and perfectly decorated for a Chinese restaurant. The owner was very friendly, great service and if I lived local I would take my family there a lot, he seems like the kind of owner who remembers peoples names. Nice selection of food, quick wait time for the food, good prices, well packed to-go box with everything I needed. Food was very good, the only thing I would suggest would be a small cup of sweet and sour sauce for the won ton strips and soy sauce packets.Highly recommend this restaurant, thanks for the great meal and experience!!!

Stop in if you get the chance. Nicest owner/chef!!! Service was excellent. The owner/chef really spent time giving us the history along with the dishes. We tried the chicken skewers. SoOO delicious! Slightly sweet a hint of peanut sauce and perfectly balanced. Then I ordered the Mongolian beef while my table mate ordered the Swai fish. It is different than any Mongolian beef I've had. Slightly smokey, extremely flavorful, hint of spice, good blend of veggies to meat. The swai fish was melt in your mouth goodness. The filet had a nice thickness.The Custard bun was a bit of an acquired taste. It was perfectly balanced and lightly sweet. It was served hot which was a bit of a surprise to me since I really didn't know what to expect. Honestly one of my favorite experiences. You can tell he cares about the food and the customer.

We are in town from Houston for business purposes. Yesterday, we were looking for dinner and found Taste of Nations on Yelp. One of the reviews use the adjectives "adventurous" which to us translated to flavor! For dinner, we ordered steamed dumplings, garlic chicken, squid with snow peas, and a hot pot of jasmine tea. Unfortunately, we were too hungry and didn't take any pictures. We enjoyed our meal. The food is cooked for the local palate. So no worries if you are not a foodie. Our host and waiter (same person) was friendly and offered good recommendations. The ambiance is what we expect from a non-chain restaurant. There were two large tables with families who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Give it try for lunch or dinner.

The guy who owns it is incredibly friendly. I will always go here as the food and service is amazing. It's a small business, the husband and wife operate the whole business doing a really great job.

I went in and ordered take-away. The service was great; but, the food was mediocre. The location makes it convenient; however, that is the #1 reason I would return.

We wouldn't know if the food is good. Every time we are down there, it seems to be closed. We thought we had gotten lucky the other day, and went inside after seeing they were open that day online. Apparently they close in between lunch and dinner. We walked in, and the grumpy guy told us to leave, that he was closed.

Not much to add to most of the other reviews: food, service and ambiance are all excellent once you get inside the doors. As noted by others the outside is shabby and the sign is easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Definitely worth a try. I stop in whenever I'm in the area.
