Sargento's Mexican Restaurant

I really enjoy the food. Love the beans and rice. I haven't gotten anything yet I didn't like. The Rio Grand Salad is great. My regular meal.. the house special, beef, chicken and shrimp fajitas with all the fixings.. for 2 people my husband and I eat 4 real good size meals from this...

I love coming here. The staff are always so friendly, like you're family. I have my favorites and they usually know just what I want. Not extremely hungry? Ask for items like the stuffed avacado a la carte. The Camarones loco with chicken is scrumptious. The margaritas are wine-based, but good. I am not particularly fond of chunky salsas, so theirs is perfect for me and very tasty. They have spicier green sauce on request. Ask for Lissette's dessert. Mmm! For larger groups, ask about their party room. Just a 10 minute drive west of campus. Try their breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday.

We enjoyed a really nice meal and the prices were very reasonable. We (3) shared this amazing margarita.

Queso is excellent along with the chips and salsa. Flautas we're ok but not very crispy. $$ was reasonable. The beef taco is really good and enchiladas and tamales are pretty good.

This was a great restaurant, but a little off the beaten path. The food was fantastic and the owner was great and was helping to serve and would stop by every table to shake your hand and welcome you and thank you for coming in! That was the best experience. I have stopped here twice now and had the Laredo (one enchilada and one taco) one time for lunch and the Sargento's taco plate the second time. Both meals were just the right amount of food for lunch. Being out of the normal path was great for not being with the crowd.Definitely plan on stopping again when I am coming through!

If I could it would be zero stars went to restaurant on 4-14-22 and got the most disgusting food ever and to top it off entire order was made incorrect then to top that off the manager in charge wanted to explain how she was just pushed into management and cooks dnt want to listen to her. This is very disappointing save your money and your time STAY AWAY

Every time we come from Denver to visit my parents we make sure to visit at least once. Your green sauce is famous amongst our friends around the globe as we buy it and bring it home to enjoy wherever we are!! I can say the food, the margs, and the owner (Litto) is top notch!!!

This place is SUPER SUPER disappointing... I was working with Lysette (who I would like to add can not handle both serving and catering) She never responded to my messages and if she did it was after I reached out to her more than once. We were trying to book our rehearsal dinner with Sargentos after our venue had highly recommended them. I had asked to sign a contract FOUR times and her response was poor and ineffective. Honestly just sucks that the communication was so poor and I felt like my business meant nothing to them when all I was trying to do was support a small business. As a customer if I could advise one thing it's that you have someone who is solely dedicated to your caterings. We've chose to go elsewhere to avoid extra stress from wedding planning.

One of the best kept secrets in town. Have been here several times and each time has been very good. Fajitas are especially tasty. Everything is fresh and tempting. No bar but can bring your own alcohol. Best thing about this restaurant is the outstanding service. Everyone is friendly and willing to serve you. You can't go wrong here
