I am a fan. We spent many years in San Antonio and were used to going to a local Tex-Mex restaurant and getting a good plate of food for about 11 bucks. This is still that place. Sadly, these places aren't as common in the Houston area, and Just a few blocks from this Restaurant's location you are in the woodlands, and you'd be paying about double that. This really should be called Natalita's number two because that's the sign outside. number one's in Jersey Village and Natalita's number three's in Tomball. Dinner for two with drinks is under 40 bucks. And that's with food to spare.I ordered the carnitas, which was a good value. Combo plates are a good value. They have lots of different Mexican beers and late-night Happy Hour with cocktails under six bucks. Staff are friendly native Spanish speakers. Everybody's welcoming. Comfortable place, very homey. What's not to love?This is not an "impressive" place. This is a 1980s Mexican restaurant. It's more like your regular place when you don't want to spend a lot of money. Very standard, fare, no surprises.

Tried this place due to recommendation, and I was not disappointed. It was a quiet day, but the service was fast! The star of the show was the love they put into cooking the meat!! It was sooo good! Came here for a craving fix for mexican food. The place looks clean when we came in and had great service. There was a gentleman who was smiling the entire time and was just giving out good energy. What gave us the good first impression was the generous amount of tortilla chips. The red sauce was a little too spicy for us, but the queso was pretty good. We enjoued the beef taco combo. However, the baja shrimp was the downside. The shrimp definitely did not taste fresh. It tasted like water as if it was defrosted the wrong way. Service very fast and attentive. Margarita was just okay, not my favorite but IT KNOCKED me on my behind, and I'm no lightweight. Whew! Food was decent, overall lacking in flavor. I enjoyed the visit, but if it's good you're after, there's much better Mexican food in the area.
