I feel like this place isn't as good as I remember. The egg rolls weren't my favorite flavor and I used to devour them. The Singapore noodles still has plentiful fresh toppings but missing that curry flavor on the noodles. And the ramen broth used to be a unique ginger broth but is now more spicy which I'm not mad at but it's tooo spicy to slurp and the spice gets caught in the back of your throat making it hard to eat.

For what is worth, NAM Pearland does a good job feeding hungry customers with Vietnamese and Chinese foods to the surrounding neighborhoods. I was visiting my friend and we got hungry. All I wanted was noodles. It took me 30 seconds to find what I wanted on my Yelp app. Driving here was a breeze (in the sense of speed not temperature). Parking was plenty in the strip mall with other shops and restaurants. The cashier was friendly and food came out quickly. My only concern was the temperature of my pho that couldn't soft cook the vegetables. Then, the vegetables were in a self-serve bar uncovered. The sprouts were ok. But the basil and cilantro were slightly wilted. Soup flavor was to the point. And, most importantly, they served with Mama La's Sriracha sauce. That's a locally manufactured product by the famous Vietnamese restaurant chain Kim Som. Yeah. I'm a fan. I would definitely return to try other dishes.

I wanted to make sure to support an Asian Owned business in celebration of HAPI. No lie, Asian food is my favorite. I have visited NAM many times but this is my first time reviewing it. A friend and I used to eat here often. The staff is amazing. They are very helpful and they don't rush you. They offer suggestions and have been spot on from the times I have been here. I agree that the tables are not always clean. I ordered takeout today. The table initially sat at to wait had old food on it and the floor was sticky. It was set up as though it was ready to be served on. Other than that it seems to always have enough seating area. The one thing in the menu I have an issue with is calling the Vegan Pho vegan. It's not! The broth is beef broth and you have to pay extra to get vegan broth. The price is great in everything. It is well prepared and won't break your bank.

The food is excellent, and the service is solid, but my only issue here is the dining area. The past three times I've been here, the dining table wasn't clean. Very sticky and food stains from the last person that sat at the table. Other than that solid establishment. I ordered the Vegan Pho with beef broth, and it's always a great tasting experience.

Cleanliness was not where I'd want it to be. The tables were not clean and the restroom soap was watered down. Not a great start. We ordered together but all the food came at different times, which is frustrating when you only have a table of 4.The Bao rolls were too sweet. The chicken fried rice was the best thing we ordered but even that lacked flavor. The Pad Thai noodles tasted mostly of shrimp, which was also disappointing because we ordered it without shrimp. Not a good experience and would not recommend.

Grabbed a pork belly banh mi sandwich on the way to the movie theatre. The baguette was a bit hard and not very fresh. The fillings were good but nothing outstanding.

It's a casual place where you order at the front counter. They have a topping bar for your pho which is nice because you can pick and choose what you want. I had the general tso's chicken as I was in the mood for something hearty, but I did try my friend's chicken pho and the broth was perfect. I also sampled some of the drunken noodles which were pretty good too. Next time I'm looking for something quick and healthy and I'm in Pearland I'll be sure to stop in and get some pho.

This place has been around a while and tonight I ordered the simplest thing possible. The Nam Teriyaki Rice Bowl: If they would have messed this up I would not trust anything from there.
