Food: This place has amazing Tom Kha, and I'm pretty much an expert on it at this point lol the cream cheese rolls are to die for too! Service: super sweet as always, never could complain. The owner runs the place and she is nice as can be. Ambiance: small and perfect. Love that they have good family music going :). This lady has a super cool story you can read about when you enter.

I'm always up for trying a new place - especially when it's a small biz. After searching through Yelp for something to eat that wasn't "junk food," we settled on Mango Tree. If you're not familiar with the area, it's off Grant Rd (in between Perry & Jones in the Mandolin area) in the corner spot of a small shopping plaza. When we arrived around 6/6:30 - the place was nearly empty. I was a bit reluctant because of, but stayed nonetheless. The waiter was kind and promptly served us our drinks. After the kids ordered the chicken fried rice, we placed our order - Curry Chicken and Shrimp Mor Din. The curry... delicious! Full of flavor, cooked well, and paired nicely with the rice that was well cooked also. The shrimp mor din on the other hand - not my cup of tea (the noodles that is). The flavor in the shrimp and cabbage was perfect, but the noodles... they were gooey and overly seasoned. Overall - the food was good and was served promptly and hot! My only real complaint would be the kids' portions - they were very small. My usually picky eater who doesn't eat a lot - left very hungry. Oh and the steamed dumplings weren't bad. Be forewarned - gratuity is automatically added for parties of 5 or more - I'm not a fan of automatic gratuity - it's almost a given that the service will lack as a result. In this case - it wasn't perfect, but it didn't lack entirely.

The food at Mango Tree is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Fortunately, we live very close to the restaurant so we eat here often. The Red Coconut Curry is something special; as good as any I've ever tasted. The wife and I decided to try something new tonight....Mango Tree Volcano and the N2- Pad Kee Mao; both were a hit. The service is always good and everyone is super friendly. The dining room is large with many well spaced tables. I highly recommend Mango Tree!!!

Great dining experience, I'd rate it a "4.5". We were worried in the beginning when somebody brought the lunch complimentary starters: the salad with peanut dressing was fine, but the egg roll was soggy and we both tasted and then pushed aside the wonton broth and single wonton floating in it. We ignored the lunch specials and off the menu ordered Tom Kha Gai coconut soup with shrimp and it was excellent, one of the best we've had in a very long time. Next came a side of curried pineapple rice--every Thai restaurant has their own version and i liked this one (Mr. Picky isn't a fan of curry flavors). He ordered the Orange Chicken which was a beautiful sweet dish of deep fried shrimp and beautifully colored vegetables. We asked what was on the dessert menu and were told options were coconut ice-cream, mango ice-cream, and mango sticky rice. When we found out that they made the coconut ice cream themselves, we both opted to try that; we liked the fact it had a strong coconut flavor and the single scoops were a generous size. They greet you when you walk in and that's nice. It sits at the end of a strip mall and so there's some grass outside my west-facing window. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal and will be back for more.

Two years ago my personal trainer recommended Mango Tree as a great place to order take-out because they have healthy, home-cooked options. Since then, I been going there regularly for Vegetable Party with chicken or Thai garlic chicken. The food is always consistently delicious and nourishing. We enjoy dining in at the restaurant as well because everyone who works there is so kind and the service is excellent. I love supporting this family-owned business and I will continue recommending it. I only wish I had known about it sooner!
