"All a round great. The spicy house broth was a burst of flavor. Just amazing. The service was great. Great meat choices. Abundant vegetable choices. I also like that they have hot prepared food like braised beef, chicken curry, wings, lo mein, and fried rice. The ice cream selection was top notch too. Highly recommend."
"Pretty solid individual hotpot spot, I only wish it was closer to Chinatown/inner loop!$18.99 is a decent lunch price for all-you-can-eat hotpot, there's quite a bit to choose from. The food is pretty fresh and you can make your own sauce to get just the right flavor you want. Their house spice broth isn't crazy spicy but it tastes pretty legit!Whichever protein you order, it'll come by the little train, which would make any little kiddo happy. The conveyor belt has a plastic sliding doors to help limit contamination, assuming others actually slide it closed. There's a range of seafood, vegetables, and other hotpot stuffs to choose from, my favorite was the meatballs, which you normally don't see!The only thing I'm sad about is them not having sesame oil, but they do have plenty of minced garlic.Don't forget to get the fried buns! So yummy"
"Absolutely wonderful experience at my first time at Go Shabu! We ate there for lunch, I think it was about $15 a person which given the quality and quantity of food options I'm not sure how its possible! The service was friendly, waiter was extremely informative and patient with my inexperience, and we had a absolutely delicious experience. I got a small amount of everything I wanted to try and almost couldn't finish it, much less think about getting seconds. It's so easy to oversubscribe to food selections, I understand their "waste surcharge" or whatever they called it if you took much more than you eat. I somehow forgot to get a picture of the buffet but it was gorgeous! SO MANY food options, noodles, vegetables, seafood, just over abundance and it all seemed fresh, clean ,etc. no part of me was skeptical about food safety, and as I've gotten older I tend to look at that more :)As far as meats, they let you pick 3, you can see it in the bottom of my photo, there are three stacked plates. They are shaved super thin and at first don't seem like much food but if you finish it they'll refill them per request. They seem very generous, its just about not wasting massive amounts of food. We honestly almost forgot about the meats given how many other foods we got, and how delicious they were!"
"A fave spot for Korean food in the area. I love coming here either for their lunch/dinner menu or kbbq. Plenty of parking spaces in a small plaza off of Long Point. Service is quick and friendly. We always get seated right away. Some of my favorite items are the soft tofu stew with seafood, bossam, and the LA Galbi. I always get the tofu stew every time I'm here. It's my comfort food and pair with the LA galbi makes a great combo. The large bossam could feed 4-6 people. We can never finish it especially when you're also eating all the sides and other dishes. I have also tried kbbq here with a group. We were seated in a private room. You can order off of their combo menu. I mostly prefer just ordering off of their normal menu versus doing the kbbq."
"After a well deserved massage we decided to browse for food options. This place stood out as it was something we have never done. Location: under oasis massage Wait time: we were lucky to be able to just walk in and be seated. After seating down we noticed line started forming and many people wait to enjoy this place. Price: average-high, there is a buffet price per person add $2 for weekends and price can add up depending on type of meats, base and other Items picked. We ended up paying @$130 for 3 people. But we got full way past our limit, so yes lots of food.Drink: we order a watermelon drink which taste just like agua frescas. Very sweet , natural and refreshing.Food: I opt for shrimp only with a spicy base I think Tom yum was called. Lots of veggies options and noodles. Others asked for multiple meats and they said their fave was octopus. Seating: inside, booth or table option.Food display is buffet style, walk to the back pick up tray or bowls and get your own sauce, fruit and add ons. Trays are small to someone like me that is new to hot pot. I definitely over did it . Staff: Rebecca was phenomenal, very patient with us and took the time to explain how it all worked. Also answered every question we had, which were lots.Once food arrived we were giving bibs to avoid splashing ourselves. She also showed us where extra napkins are kept, how to cook and how long. Overall great first time experience and will be coming again."
"Arrived around 8:30pm on Wednesday and found the lights on with all the chairs up. My husband went in and asked if we can sit to eat as we had driven there after calling and confirming that they close at 9pm- they said yes and took down some chairs so we could sit.The lady at the cashier was relatively nice compared to the service and attitude usually given at Caribbean restaurants. The food was food but unfortunately was barely even warm. -jerk chicken: would have preferred charred flavor like other Jamaican spots have.-rice and peas: okay flavor, a bit mushy-cabbage: not oily, and not lightly pickled like other places. Tastes simply of steamed cabbage.-fried sweet plantain: saturated in oil as if cooked in old oil."
"First time here at 75 where these is a AYCE option of beef. Seafood, and hot pot items. It is about $30 per person on the weekends. My dad has his birthday there so he ask me to come and check it out. Victor our waiter was amazing. He explained how it all worked and was very attentive to all our needs. Best service ever They have a combination of Korean BBQ and Hot pot fixing. My favorite was the crab legs and the black and white fish cake that had squid ink.It was definitely worth the trip."
"This restaurant 隱燙 Yin Tang Spicy Hot Pot is a branch from Southern California. Description from the rest of Chinese characters, 黑輪 as Oden and 燙食 as Hot Food. (Can't combine too many Chinese characters because Yelp will place this review in the foreign language page.)Eating at Yin Tang is very different from hot pot. You don't have a boiling water on your table to dip meats and vegetables. I think the phrase spicy hotpot should be spicy-hot pot. But they serve the food in a bowl not a pot. Not to be too critical, it is what it is. Yin Tang has more Oden aka fish ball variety than any other hotpot restaurants. My favorite is black ink squid balls. It tastes unique and matches the color of dinnerware, especially dipped in soy sauce. On the receipt, it says 麻辣烫 malatang. It is technically malatang, but different. The soup base tastes similar to Taiwanese beef stew 牛肉湯. There's a tomato flavored soup, but still use the beef soup. Therefore, there is no vegan or vegetarian options here. The soup base has slight kick to it. Just to say spicy hot is real. Why do we suddenly have so many malatang restaurants opened up in Houston? Especially, there is a similar restaurant at the same mall. Zhang Liang MaLaTang has smaller footprint and feels crowded. I suspect they're owned by the same entity.Houston is humid and hot. If you know the traditional soup to get rid of humidity, you'll be searching for a decent malatang with spicy numbing soup. It is not hard to find at Metropole Center. There are Mala Sichuan, Northern China, Nice to Meet You, Zhang Liang and Sichuan Restaurant."
"KATY, TX 77449 / KOREAN / 08-31-23 / LUNCH+The customer service was pretty good, but it wasn't busy during a Thursday lunch rush hour. There were two other parties besides us.+The banchan side dishes were pretty well-prepared and definitely made in-house. They brought out boiled bok choy, pickled radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, and sautéed fish cake.+The restaurant space is small, but tidy with nice decor.-The oxtail soup was lukewarm; usually, it comes out boiling, piping hot at most Korean establishments. The cartilage pieces were super large chunks and not boiled down, so they were tough to chew. I brought home some leftovers and cut them into little pieces for easy spoonful eating.-They don't offer the typical self-serve dish of sliced green onions like at other Korean oxtail soup restaurants. -The seafood pancake wasn't cooked fully; the batter was still raw, as if they rushed in the kitchen and didn't use proper pan/griddle heat temperatures.-No loyalty rewards program.-No weekday lunch specials.-They don't offer the marinated pork bbq ribs anymore or the spicy beef rib galbitang, which are two dishes they were popular for.-All of the dishes were very salty.-We got super sleepy right after eating our meals, so there may be some MSG thrown into the soups. What we ordered:'2 oxtail soups with cartilage $14.00 each'1 seafood pancake $18.00Total: $60 post tax and tip for a party of two"
"Stepped into the restaurant and I could immediately smell the aromatic chili in the air which whet my appetite. Food came out fast and piping hot. I absolutely love the food here. Portion is generous and soup is flavorful. I had the pickled cabbage and beef belly noodles. Super yummy. The noodles are not spicy so I will be back to try the beef tripe hot pot noodle which has five chilies rating. Bingfen is delicious without being sweet. Love the idea of nuts in it which add some texture to the soft jelly. It is a good dessert to end the meal."

Found this gem that met everything I was looking for in All you can eat place. They have all you can eat made to order bbq skewers, fried wings that were crispy and juicy, and hot pot dishes with many varieties. Did I say the price also included the fountain drink that tasted normal! Not weird soapy taste nor water down. I'm especially impressed by their service. We came with two toddlers, they offered additional hotpot for the kids to share without charging us. We were so full and still could not pass on their delicious ice creams! Highly recommend! Will return soon, even just for the wings!

You select your broth. Chicken beef or pork. As the conveyor belt goes by just grab whatever you like to put in your bowl of broth as it cooks. There's a variety of veggies noodles mushrooms you name it. There's an abundance of other items you can order as everything is including. I enjoyed the concept and my Chiba hot pot was so delicious. The little train bring other items right to you. Can't wait to return.

I had low expectations coming to this place but I was really surprised. It's an all you can eat shabu which I was excited about. My husband and I came here for dinner with his coworkers. It was $22.99/person for dinner but for both of us we paid a total of around $66 including gratuity since we had 11 people in our group. I ordered the go shabu spicy broth and my husband ordered the sukiyaki (vegetarian) broth. Both broths were delicious! You have to order the meats (beef, pork, lamb) and bowl of rice from your server but they are pretty fast at giving it to you. The seafood, sauces, and vegetables are on the buffet table so you can easily get that once you get your broth. They also have ice cream that you can scoop it out yourself. The meats, seafood, and sauces were great. The service was great also. Overall, this place is great and I recommend it.

HOUSTON, TX / KOREAN / 11-27-22 / LUNCH+The banchan side dishes were well-made and more on the traditional side.+The fish roe soup was pretty good.+The kids enjoyed the marinated galbi.-Customer service was non-existent, as this is typical at Korean restaurants. You'll be lucky to get a water refill.-The decor was dated, greasy, and dusty.

Love it. This restaurant is buried among the numerous Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Malaysian shops and restaurants in this congested collection of strip stores. I don't have intel to compare with other nearby hot pot options, but I can vouch that this one was pretty good.Service was very good on our visit. Our waitress did a nice job describing the process. I really like that as she placed our orders on an iPad device, the kitchen staff already started brining items out. I have to assume they were were reading our order in real-time.I liked the condiments and appetizer station. It was clean and organized.I would definitely eat here again!

So good, quick food good service, priced well and was very fulfilling in the flavor I was looking for. Super authentic inside and the food too.
Visit Restaurant Page"Can't believe I've never entered a review for Caribbean Hotpot. Look I'll make this short and sweet....YOU NEED THEM IN YOUR LIFE!!! LOLBut seriously, Caribbean Hotpot is the best. Been coming here foverrrrr! Their food, service and whole set up has always been excellent. The north side has nothing like it in the area. Oxtails? Yes. Stewed chicken? Yes. Veggie patties? Curried goat? Yessss! There's even a veggie plate (I forget the name on menu) that I order quite a bit. And for me to order a plate of food that's only veggies besides a salad says a lot. You can tell their items are cooked with love and true Caribbean know how. Peas & rice never mushy. The curry isn't just all heat & salt. There's actual flavor of herbs and spices. Juicy, tender oxtails. They've got a bar in there too if you want to wash things down with a beer or mixed drink. And yes they have brunch & it's amazing! Never been disappointed with a meal. This year I even had my bday party here. The owners were awesome in setting up my section & making sure my group had a good time! Just can't say enough about this place. Caribbean Hotpot is my go to place for authentic Caribbean food. Get over here and get you some of this deliciousness. Yelp on my friends!"
"An updated review since a year ago. They have changed to buffet style, around $31.34 per person with tax, and it includes the broth options (pork broth, spicy broth, or combo). It is such a better deal than before and it is better than any other hot pot places in town. All you can eat style with a variety of options for meat and vegetables, skewers and plated dishes (fatty beef, fatty lamb, noodles, etc.). It also comes with free appetizers (chicken feet, sesame red balls, roasted peanuts, edamames, etc), and the sauce bar. MOST IMPORTANTLY, there is also a cotton candy machine in case you want to make some cotton candy as dessert, and they also have vanilla and chocolate Blue Bell ice cream as part of the buffet (it is in the freezer on the far right, don't miss it). Best hot pot place and best deal in Chinatown!"
"This AYCE Japanese hot pot style was a great spot for individual hot pot. Love the premium meat and their quality. The wait on a Sunday night was long so we opted to sit at the bar. It was a little awkward if you have four people but we made it work. Service was attentive despite how busy they were. You can order the meat with your server and can get your veggies, noodles, sauce, and seafood in the buffet bar. We opted for the sukiyaki broth as the base and it was pretty flavorful. They have additional items you can order. I decided to order the raw lobster to cook in the broth. Decent size for the price but I could have skipped it. For desserts, they have shaved ice with assorted toppings. I quite like it since most places have ice cream so this was something different. Overall, worth it to check out and the price was good too."
"Sinh Sinh is the place to be while in the Chinatown District of Houston. Our party of 7 ordered five dishes to share family style --1) one whole Peking Duck (comes with a bowl of duck soup)2) Chinese Broccoli with Garlic3) House Spicy Tofu with Minced Pork4) Singapore Style Vermicelli Noodles - extra spicy5) Steamed Striped Bass with Ginger, Scallions, and CilantroEverything was perfect. From taste to presentation, these guys are in the game hard. I'm not from the area but I take it that this is the restaurant to be at in Houston for a Chinese family style dinner. The menu is huge -- pages and pages of so many speciality dishes. I'm so impressed that I'm at a loss for words.I'll definitely be back for another meal!"
"I've gotta tell ya, not all hot pots are created equal. At Miss Flower Hotpot 小花娇, the soup bases have been prepared with special ingredients with long hours of cooking. It is located in a tiny strip mall called Greatland Kingdom between Chase Bank and Dun Huang Plaza. Parking is at a premium on weekends.I came here late October as the temperature suddenly stopped by half. The restaurant was unusually busy on a Monday night, as waiter explained. The only reason I came here that day was to order the fish maw soup because all reviews raving about it.Came to find out, they changed format to all you can eat a month ago (September 2023). Ok. Let's have AYCE for $29.99 (Friday to Sunday is $31.99). I only ordered cutup chicken with secret sauce, crystal beef slices and lamb slices. OMG. The portion for each item was huge. I was able to consume them but still got leftover. I felt bad. So, I asked waiter what option do I have if I get takeout. He recommended set menu option, starts from $39.99 for 2.A week later, I came back for exact that. But just me, one solo diner. The waiter brought an empty pot, the cutup chicken, soup base on the side, fresh fish maw on an ice tray and side vegetables on a tree-like rack. Presentation was over the top. Watching him prepared my meal was really worth the money. He explained how long to cook the chicken and what each ingredient was. The soup base is mainly cooked with chicken, pumpkin and carrots, plus other ingredients. That's where the mustard yellow tint came from. The soup itself can be purchased for $12 as takeout. He said many people take it home and boil some noodles for dinner. I might do that one day. But I like mine with fresh meats cooked in.The sauce bar is for both AYCE and set menu customers. But vegetables buffet line is only for AYCE customers. After eating my set menu hotspot, I was already full. I didn't need to get anything else. Of course, I got my leftover noodles and silver ears 银耳 in one tub and leftover soup in another tub.The tablet is a modern tool for ordering. It's bilingual. I kept forgetting to flip to English side because I have difficulties with simplified Chinese characters. I misread an item on my first visit. This restaurant has 2 party rooms, VIP 1 and VIP 2. Be sure to check with the restaurant for minimum purchase and maximum seating. It definitely needs advanced reservation on weekends. Because it meets my Chinatown Crawl UYE requirements, Miss Flower Hotpot will be featured on my future foodie meetup event list."
"Expensive for hotpot but good options and very clean. This is a new place in Sugarland and parking is easy. Our group opted for hotpot only (though could have paid an additional $3-4 for the Korean barbecue as well), and were very full. The broth does not have that much flavor, unfortunately but you can add the sauce condiments to make it better. There's crab legs which had to be restocked several times, but otherwise lots of options. I think Shabu Zone in Bellaire is tastier but this place was a good option too."
"Just to be fair, I came back to taste 張亮麻辣烫 Zhang Liang MaLaTang. Come to find out the Chinese actor Zhang Liang went to court sued this franchise few years ago. Not sure the outcome but here I am. Sampling what the world is raving about. So this franchise is one large restaurant chain in China and over 3000 restaurants worldwide. Wow, we must be lucky to have one in Houston. Slogan is "you can drink up the soup" because all malatang soup is super salty, super greasy and can be really numbing hot. The bowl I received had tiny bit of soup. I paid $14 for tiny bowl is not fair compared with the other reviewer's bowl.I was there really for a snack before grocery shopping. I wanted to try Yin Tang next door. But they weren't open until Monday. Fine. I'll give this one a try since the restaurant was completely empty.Cashier didn't tell me about the soup base. I ordered medium hot. I didn't want to ruin my taste buds because I want to taste the numbing affect. Then, she didn't tell me there's a minimum one pound of ingredients. I went back 3 times to get more food from the ingredients cooler. The food came out really quick. Skipping to the end, I did finish the soup and paying for it later. Back to my food... Eating halfway through to find out black mold on both chopsticks. I had to make sure it's not from my hand. So I picked out a fresh pack from the counter. Sure enough, it was on the bamboo chopsticks, too. I alerted the staff. She didn't know what to do. I could only hear mumbling through her mask. So I posted it on Google. Someone apologized and said will exchange them with suppliers. Okay. I'll try them again in few months."
"Boy! Where do I start? Hands down one of my favorite place to eat on Bellaire! The place may be small but pack with with flavors. My favorite is their Canh Bun, adding a side of Oc. Other options are good as well like Bun Rieu and Banh Canh. Either way you can't go wrong with any selection."
"Great place for snacking/chilling with friends. The place is pretty dark. I'm assuming this place is for people who want to hang and drink since they have a bar island. We ordered the following:Chicken feet chiliThai clams in soupBlood clams in tamarindBot chien Mi go reng beefThe platter:includes a whole bunch of seafoodCorn with baby shrimpCoconut snailsI don't know if they did this on purpose or if it's always like that but the chicken feet were small. So small i thought I was eating pretzel sticks. Barely any skin, that good stuff. Flavor was there but it was impossible to eat without getting slobber all on youThe Thai clams were my least favorite. The flavor was okay, but the clams were over cooked and a bit rubberyBlood clams were good! A nice balance of tamarind and sweetness. Small, but yummy! The bot chien is delicious. I usually don't know where to go when getting this, so I'd go to tan tan but here they make it extra crispyyyyyy. Mmmm. My favorite place now for this. Mi go reng beef was okay. Lacked flavor. It was basically rau muong with beef and ramen noodles. It tasted just like that. It needed soy sauce from the bot chien. HeheThe platter was great! I really love the presentation. Specifically because I love variety of these babies. The snails were not over cooked like most places, the green sauce was okay, fish sauce was good for these. They provide you sticks for easy consumption. Pretty great scallops, delicious garlic! The mussels were flavorful! Corn with baby shrimp was a bit dry but nice flavor to enjoy with the spread. The coconut snails was thicccc. What I mean is, the sauce was as thick as pudding! They tried to keep it hot by lighting a fire but it went out within a few min. The snails were nicely cooked, hard to suck out but worth the work. Overall, happy with the food, prices were reasonable, quick service, my new fav place!"
"Omg top tier hot pot place. Pricey but you will NOT regret it! I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Houston"
"Service was great. Very attentive staff and the food came out fast. Short ribs are amazing. Kimchi is very good. I had the beef sizzling pot and it was good. Vegetables were cooked right but it did need a little more flavor. The spicy s sauce they give you is a must buy with it it's very good. Good atmosphere. Lots of Kpop videos in the tv. Overall, it was great and I'll be back."
"Nut allergy friendly. They say to mention it to your waiter but I haven't had to. Most of the nuts are on the sauce bar in the corner - the main one on the island is pretty nut free. The sauce I make is very simple - spicy ponzu, chili powder, green chili, sweet garlic, and some green onion. If you like hot pot but hate sharing a pot between six people, shabu-shabu is a must try. It's hot pot, but everyone gets their own pot and hence their own choice of broth.Shabu Zone's broths are a little bland. I got the Spicy #2 and it was not spicy at all. This is easily remedied by following their suggestion of cooking your seafood first, which does add richness to the broth.A common complaint of hot pot is that all of the meats blend together. This is only true if you overcook your meat. Thin slices of beef take seconds to cook. If you leave it in the broth, then yes, you're getting overcooked, bland, stringy meat. #1 and #4 meats were very flavorful. I will say, two of the waiters had no idea which meat was which either, but they were able to bring us more on sight alone which I thought was hilarious. The seafood bar is not the freshest but it is adequate. Plenty of hot pot style vegetables, like four types of mushrooms. The service is lightning fast. Meat comes out in less than five minutes, and waiters are clearing plates every few minutes too. Impressive considering the restaurant was totally full with a 15 minute wait when I went on a Friday at 7PM.Overall, a great time to enjoy hot pot at the reasonable price of about $40/pp after tax and tip. They give a free bottle of champagne for your birthday, too!"
"This facility was previously Tokyo One, which closed down during the pandemic. Not sure if it's same owners but the new establishment is a Buffet and all-you-can-eat Hot Pot. The cooked buffet items were below average- looked dry & not at all appealing. I tried a few items and they were all subpar. The individual hot pot (shabu) was great. They had various soup bases and many fresh meats, seafood, and veggies to cook in the hotpot. Desert consisted of 2-3 fruits, 3 flavors of ice cream, and 1-2 cake-type sweets.Customer service was great; facility looks clean. Go there for the hot pot but do not expect the hot, cooked items to be any good."
"Why? I asked. See the restaurant couldn't just create a new yelp biz page. They changed name from Korean Noodles House to Kim Shabu. What happened to everyone reading the 253 past reviews are not relevant anymore. I saw Kim Shabu advertised on Instagram. Specifically, a post from yesterday that offered 15% off. I said to myself, I've gotta come to support the restaurant (Korean Noodles House) I used to love.I came here to see Korean Noodles House sign still in top of building but windows are decorated with Kim Shabu. So, you asked. What's Korean style shabu? It's individually served shabu pot with Korean entrée and Korean sauces on the buffet line. You have to order sliced shabu meats from the servers. I'm not a meat eater. I indulged myself with clams, mussels and fish balls. There are also shrimps, crabs, baby squids, calamari rings as seafood selections during lunch. I'm curious what's served during dinner. I normally don't rate a business during soft opening. But this one is different. My followers will ask if I have tried Kim Shabu because my review on Korean Noodles House was featured before. I had to share my report. Service was excellent Food was fresh and appetizing Ambience was well decorated with modern look (I missed the old fashioned Korean Noodles House though.)Sauces are prepared in house. I recommend do not mix. Sauce #1 is slightly spicy. Sauce #2 is little spicier and with lots of sweetness. I suggested to replace tomatillo jalapeños green salsa with some kind of Chinese hot pepper oil because sriracha is on shortage. Overall, I was satisfied with my dining experience. I would try dinner with my foodie friends as soon as the page is updated correctly."
"Let me put you on some gooood hotpot.Apparently Haidilao is even fancier and more popular in china which is hard to imagine bc it already stands out amongst the other hot pot franchises here in TX.I've been to the location in Frisco (in the Dallas area) which I love but I've been to the Katy location 2-3 times now. This time I came with my dad, brother and husband and we had a freaking blast. You can't control the poor etiquette of other customers blocking you off from getting dipping sauce but the restaurant can implement a better system so that people don't have to wait so long and fight to make some sauce. But besides that- the meat quality is pricey but superb. So much better than Little Lamb. I love the meat broth it is so nice and light and fragrant - and I eat so many veggies and mushrooms when I eat here which is hard to do otherwise if you don't have such good soup and seasonings.Since this was Christmas time we all got extra little gifts which was sweet and they had an employee dress up as Santa and let customers spin the wheel to win prizes how fun!Everything was so delicious and tasty. Pro tip end the night with noodles and you have a whole dish of noodle soup!Wish they had desserts here but hey not complaining.I can't recommend haidilao enough. Ask for the noodle dance and if you're lucky you will have a pro like we did who flawlessly danced with the noodle. So amazing and fun. Although we did wait an hour for him to comSpecial shoutout to our amazing server. This gentleman was so nice and patient and was on top of the service even when it got busy. And he gave us a free refill of the watermelon juice. It made us feel so special and appreciated. 10/10"
"While this is already a great spot for late night eats, lots of people are unaware of the banquet menus available. They only have 2 private rooms (that can be combined) but you can also reserve a large section of tables out in the main dining room also. Even though the space is small, the menu is on par with the standards of F*ngs, Cr*wn, S*nh S*nh and the like. King Crab is a must - the rice noodles are maybe the best I've had at any multi course banquet dinner.Suckling pig is a nice option that other places don't usually have.Lobster salad is another tasty new to me dishDefinitely give them a shot for your next dinner party!"
"I have to take back my previous words immediately. This place was SO good. I'm not sure why my first visit was not great, but this time, Shabu Squared knocked it out of the park for me. Our super helpful waiter might have had something to do with it; he was extremely knowledgeable and came by frequently to check in on us and even taught us how to eat each meat with each sauce. I would even say this is better than another shabu spot with a very similar name...The meat quality was insane, and the veggie platter is so worth it! We ordered two meats and a veggie platter and it was more than enough food for three people. The broth was also really delicious this time, and I kept drinking it on its own. The establishment is super clean, and our bill wasn't too expensive. I can't wait to come back here again, and I'm really glad I visited to change my previous opinion."
