Donut Distillery-Houston

Finally stopped by and tried out Donut Distillery. We came in after church and decided to try out their donuts. Next time, I definitely want to try out their boozy shakes and coffee's. We came in and it was empty, so we didn't have to wait long or anything like that. The vibe inside is so chill and laid back. They had a neon wall for a photo op and they have a bunch of fun games you can play near the back. It was a really nice place!The dude that helped us out was also so chill and relaxed and was helpful in helping us decide what donuts to get. I looked at the menu beforehand though and was already ready to go and order several different flavors to try and share with my boyfriend. We were originally going to get the box of 6, but they had fall seasonal flavors that I really wanted to try, so we ended up getting a box of 12.I'd like to mention that these donuts aren't the huge donuts that we're so often used to; these are mini donuts - but on a thicker scale. These are the flavors that I ordered:- Sweet Swine [10/10]- Frosted Fruity [8/10]- Whiskey Glaze [9/10]- The Homer D'ohnut [8/10]- S'mores [10/10]- Reese's Cup [10/10]- Dreamsicle [9/10]- Apple Spice Delight [9/10] (Seasonal)- Maple Buzz [9/10] (Seasonal)- Caramel Swirl [7/10] (Seasonal)- Pumpkin Spice Glaze [8/10] (Seasonal)- Oreo [9/10] (Donut of the week)So, as you can see, we kind of went a bit crazy on ordering a majority of the different flavors. I really just wanted to try a big part of every flavor. I honestly enjoyed every single flavor that we picked. There were definitely some flavors that I enjoyed more than others, but overall, everything was just decadent and absolutely delicious. I'm already itching to go back. I hope that they will have Christmas themed flavors next!

I despise this place! And I totally despise the person who brought these to the office!I was doing so well with my with my A1C and my weight. Donuts are supposed to be a quick, guilty breakfast thing. But, no! This joint broke the barriers. These are dessert donuts ... party donuts. The most delicious donuts in the history of fried, round goodness. Shame on Donut Distillery!I'm not one to mix my booze and my donuts, but everyone else in my party crossed those lines. (They loved it.) I loved the warm, crisp tiny donut with such well-executed toppings such as Boston Cream Pie, apple and maple, to name a few. Though the wonderful little treats here are date- and office-worthy (minus the booze infusion), I'm also really impressed at the selfie spot. The person(s) who came up with the idea of this deserve an Addy Award. That aside, try this place once and you'll be back. Glory be!

Donut Distillery really earned this 5 star review, few places have me coming back two days in a row :) First was with my wife after a lunch to try it out,then came back the next morning with the kids since we had such a fantastic experience the first time.They have plenty of donut options, adult drinks, and every single thing we ordered was delicious! They have some toys we played with, a foozball table, clean restrooms, I mean what else could you ask for!It got pretty busy on a Saturday morning which was a testament to how good their offerings are. I highly recommend this place, the donuts were tiny so easy not to overindulge.. unless if you get a massive pack of them for yourself and eat them all. I wouldn't judge you for it :)

The donuts are delicious and served warm! Loved the unique smaller size and the staff were very friendly!! My son and enjoyed the games and music as well.

I tried this place as a solo date for myself lol I got a boozy shake! It was super yummy. Nice open space to hang out with friends or if you want a sweet treat and read a book, or study. They also have a little patio out front for seating. It's decorated. Super cute and the girl at the register was nice. She gave me a smaller menu to help me not feel overwhelmed with the big menu overhead. I'm pretty sure the shake I got was tooty fruity and it's blended with donuts and they give a small donut for the straw like a decoration. I didn't post that but all the donuts are the size of your palm.

Came across this cute little restaurant while out shopping. Super tasty! We tried the Boston cream and Death by Chocolate flavors and they were delicious!

Oh My!! This place is ADORABLE. The atmosphere is Insta-worthy if you're going for that vibe. If you're wanting a tasty treat, you've chosen the right place. The staff was SO SWEET. I went in not knowing what to pick, and I only had a picture of what my friend had gotten before. She knew exactly what to pick out for us. Definitely recommend!!

Benefit of the doubt with this one. I dig the concept - combine two of the best things in life - donuts and booze. Beer selection is good. Donut variety is good. Maybe you have to get there early when the donuts are fresh. The dozen we selected were cold and oh yeah, they are tiny. I will give them another shot. Because who doesn't love beer and donuts?!?

I pass by this place nearly every day, and finally decided to stop in and grab some donuts for the family. Glad I did! The donuts are DELICIOUS! And the store itself is super clean with a modern look. The GM and staff are extremely nice and we had a nice conversation about the history of the company being this is the first location in Texas and they are from Nashville, Tennessee. I'll definitely be coming here more often, my kids loved it!

I've wanted to try this place out after driving by it often and seeing its great Yelp reviews. It seemed cute and like a cool concept.I placed an online order... or so I thought. Arrived and realized I never finalized my order. No sweat, it gave me more time to sit chill at the distillery and check things out. The gentleman that helped me was super polite and the wait wasn't long at all.They sell mini donuts. Which I loved! They have such a great variety, the minis allow you to try out different ones without having to buy full sized donuts. I tried a pack of 6 for $6. The minimum order is 3 mini donuts. The 6 I ordered were: Strawberry Lemonade - a strawberry iced lemony cake donut whiskey glazed - not very sweet, like a sweet bread, u catch a soft whiff of the whiskey as you eat it but can't taste itReese's Cup - A bit decadent but a good blend of chocolate and peanut butter Frosted Fruity- perfectly crispy/crunchy fruity pebbles over a white icingDreamsicle - Orange icing over a cake donut chocolate strawberry - the donut of the week at the time. Chocolate iced with a fresh cut strawberry slice on top The donuts were all equally delicious. You really can't go wrong ordering any of them. It depends more on what you have a taste for.They have coffee and mimosa flights so there's plenty of ways to try different things.They have a nice selection of local beers.Their patio is also nice and a good size. I look forward to trying out their coffee beverages in the future.
